"This is interesting… he has everything that was made public written down, of course, he has the Quirk wrong but that was to be expected." While Izuku took a shower Yu flipped through one of his hero notebooks waiting for him to finish, Hero Analysis for the Future No. 13 was quite a read in the entries of heroes hers was curious, unlike the other heroes. She wondered why he had just stuck to just what was free to the public and why her Quirk had fewer details to it, unlike the other heroes. 'At least I know what might be holding him back.' She finished the thought on the blank page she stopped on, hearing Izuku approach. "You done?" She questioned the boy now in his civ wear.
"Y-yeah, thank you for letting me borrow your shower." Izuku said as he was coming out from the master bedroom.
Yu looked him over as he was dressed in a blue short-sleeved hoodie with a pair of jeans. "No you are my guest Izuku you are welcome to anything here." She paused to present him with the hero notes she was just reading. "I think I understand you better..." Yu got up to move to one of the cabinets pulling out five glasses and a pitcher that she filled with water before she placed everything on the Island in the kitchen. "Come sit..." She said as he got closer. Once he had taken his spot in front of her she continued to speak. "Be honest with me, when you are using your Quirk you imitate All Might, don't you?"
Izuku froze in place at the thought, if he was being honest that was a hundred percent accurate. All Might was his hero from childhood, and it was only natural that he would. "Uhhh... Y-yes." He answered her nervously.
"There's nothing wrong with that." She took a gentle tone to reassure him of that fact, Yu did not mean to step on any toes with her question. "I was just looking through this and I noticed it when you were fighting in your festival you tended to charge up before you would strike when using your Quirk, which was odd for a strength enhancer, and there was the fact that you would call out attack moves like a certain someone when you did. I took a look at all of your recorded combat records and they also confirm that fact." She grabbed his hero notebook displaying it to him. "Usually someone your age has a handle on their Quirk and has their own way of using it." She organized the glass in front of them as she began to explain her thesis. "After watching you I saw that the body part you were using is the one that suffered the damage. When you use your Quirk are you aware that you only use it in that body part?" She started to fill one of the five glasses between the pair, waiting for the answer.
Now that Izuku thought about it when he got hurt it was only the limbs that he needed to complete whatever he wanted to do with the Quirk. It hit him all of a sudden, he never once tried to control the amount of power that he was using, all of his blows were at one hundred percent of One For All's power despite All Might's warning. 'Of course, my arms and legs snapped.' He thought to himself, answering Yu with a stern "no."
Yu for her part smiled at his clear self-reflection, she knew from the documents that she had access to as his pro that he was smart, but she was on a roll and if he was on the same page as her she could pretty much say anything and he would listen. "Well…" She said to gain his attention as the glass was nearly full. "As I was saying if you only are ever focused on keeping power for what you need and nothing else…" She continued to fill the glass until the water in it started to spill over its rim, making a show of the pitcher with water still in it. "What do you think happens to the power left over?"
"It continues to pour in despite having nowhere to go."
"That and what if you are doing something that requires more than one limb." Yu could not help but admire his face in deep thought, remarking on it in her head, he had not thought about the lag the activation of his Quirk had.
Izuku on the other hand had a lightbulb form on top of his head. 'All Might's Muscular form and he said that my whole body couldn't handle his full power. That means if I…' His thoughts trailed off as he stared a hole into the five glasses.
"If you were to activate your Quirk to every part of your body…" Yu unknowingly completed his thought, all the while she began filling the remaining four glasses evenly. "You could in theory minimize the damage, hopefully manage more of your power, and more efficiently use your Quirk over long periods. Can you do that?"
Izuku's eyes went wide. "Yu-san you are a genius!" The boy exclaimed looking over at his hero mentor with a grin. He was not expecting much from what he knew from her public image, and he couldn't help but see her in a new light. From what she said and his experiences he was completely wrong in treating One For All the way he had. If he could find a way to activate it all over his body and find a way to use it over a long period like All Might, he paused his thought. 'I have got to stop thinking like that.' He thought of the previous user, this was in a way his power and responsibility now. 'After all, I did say I want to find my own path to All Might.'
"Wouldn't say I am a genius…"
Yu's shy voice trailed off bringing Izuku back to the present; he examined the blush on her bewildered face before a larger grin was plastered on his. "No really you are, there is no way I would have thought of what you have just said on my own." He continued from where he had left off.
"I don't think that's true, you would have thought of this by yourself eventually." Yu retorted, not too sure how to react after the compliment. "Besides…" She trailed off again. 'If it wasn't for you I would have not taken this whole internship thing seriously. I would have found someone who liked Mount Lady enough to do what I wanted no questions asked or skip it all together like Keigo and Rumi.' Her mind wandered while thinking of her original plans and her old friends. "That was just a base to launch off of, a starting point. I had no idea how your Quirk works nor do I claim to."
Izuku looked back at his time in U.A. over the last month and he had more practical knowledge in the last twenty-four hours than he had previously. "No, I doubt that, I am a late bloomer so I was way behind everyone else." He spoke, feeling that he was as he said way behind where he should be.
The boy felt a hand ruffle his hair forcing him to look at her in confusion. "That's not true, from your notebooks alone you might have the advantage over any of your classmates, I bet you are the only one who knew who your homeroom teacher was before any of them."
Izuku remembered class 1-A's first day not too fond of what had happened, not only did he gush over his homeroom teacher, but despite what his class vice president and friend might have said that day he would have been expelled like the man said. A dark cloud hung over his head the more he thought it over and he needed to get used to One For All as soon as he could. "But I am sure that I came off as a fanboy, again."
Yu frowned at Izuku's response, for her and a lot of the heroes she knew these types of fandoms have become their lifeblood, and she could, if their admiration was managed well by people who call her and others their heroes that save them intern. She felt that Izuku was one of those people, a person who could save others by being himself, and it helped that she admired that side of him. Yu did not waste time as she moved around the granite island to take Izuku into her arms, holding him close. "You have had quite the life up until now, haven't you?" Izuku did not answer but buried his head into her chest, the figurative black cloud threatening to swallow him whole. 'Don't worry, this world could use more like you.' She thought, tightening her hold. "Maybe you did, and maybe you are. But none of that matters… take it from a Pro. People like you who can do what you can are in short supply and will last much longer than everyone else in the industry. I don't want to say you should stop comparing yourself to others, but even if it is just for me… I want you to hold your head high. You have earned everything that you have been given, and you deserve so much more."
Izuku did not know what to say, he was at a loss for words so he just stayed there in her grasp unmoving, and for what felt like hours the teen did not move enjoying the contact. Izuku hated that he was showing a major insecurity to her, after what he saw at the sports festival. The look in her eye was enough for him to take Yu up on her offer, that same look was enough for him to have an interest in her, in so few words he wanted to save her like he had done for one Shoto Todoroki, but she was the one he found comfort in. So as he stood there in her arms he wondered what he could do for her.
After a couple of minutes, Yu broke away from him much to the disappointment of both. As much as she wanted to hold on to him she couldn't at least not fully yet. Yu had a role to play and she was not going to fail at it. She had not taken a shower since she had woken up so she was keen on hopping to it. Though Yu was still in what was now her favorite t-shirt that she had 'borrowed' from Izuku she had to get ready to go out for her planned errands. She had wanted to go shopping after she had gotten Izuku's things from Rumi and Keigo's hero agency, well… hers as well, but the appearance of Nanami and Kamui changed that. Yu's plans may have changed but this was an opportunity to spend her off day with Izuku and she was not going to miss the chance. Getting the idea for a date with the boy she gently put her hands on his shoulders, careful to watch her wording. "Izuku, since your stuff was dropped off, do you want to come with me to do some shopping, I still don't know if you are on a special diet, and as you can see there is not much here, especially food. That is if you want to come with me..."
It did not take any time for Izuku to respond, his answer was immediate. "Yes..." Sounding eager he continued. "I would love to come." He said, answering her.
"Great, if you want you can wait as I get ready... Or..." Her mind came up with an opportunity to tease him. "I know that you already had one, but..." She could already see that he was aware of what she was about to say even before she had opened her mouth to continue. "You could join me... You could even help wash my backside..." She threw a side-eye glance at nothing in particular before finishing her line of thought. "Among other things." Yu finished, angling her chest towards him leaning in with her hands behind her back.
"P-please don't tease me." Izuku repeated the phrase from earlier but this time a pout complimented his now red face at the thought of taking a shower with his mentor. He honestly didn't mind that she did tease him, she wasn't the first, but what he did mind was the image plaguing his mind at the thought and the fact he desperately wanted it to happen.
Yu was taken aback by the answer and pouted. Although her comment had the desired effect she did not foresee this outcome. She got something that she did not think that she could get, she smiled and took a mental photo of Izuku's pouting face filing under the faces she got from teasing him.
"Then you shouldn't react, I can't help it if you look that cute when I do. But I should go, we can work on your Quirk when we get back, there is a gym downstairs where we can do that."
"O-o-ok" was Izuku's only response as he watched his new mentor leave for her room. 'This is going to be a long two weeks.' He thought as he could not help but stare as she left.

Meanwhile, Kamui Woods had returned to Musutafu after visiting Mount Lady in Hosu. The visit was not that long and he didn't get what he wanted from it either, the other heroes from the agency were sure to grill him about the woman's absence. He took off the wooden mask before leaving his car after making sure no one was around. Staying in his car he then proceeded to take off his hero attire changing into more inconspicuous garb revealing an above-average-looking fit man in his late twenties with red hair and a prominent five o'clock shadow. He made sure to hide his hero costume under the passenger seat before exiting his late-model sports car in a parking garage. There was an elevator not far from where he parked that would take him straight to his apartment. 'The committee is always looking out.' He thought as he reached the elevator.
It was not much of a trip from the basement parking to the fourth floor of the building where he would traverse the winding hallways to his apartment, a truly grueling task. Once he reached the door to the apartment breathing a sigh of relief so he could start his vacation without any more worry, hopefully his coworkers wouldn't ask about Mount Lady once it was all over. Though he was ready to shut himself away like a hermit for the rest of the day at least, that was not destined to be as a slim but well-defined tanned hand stop him from closing his door.
He opened his door to find the seventh-ranked hero Mirko standing there in a purple hoodie over top of a legless leotard. The dark-skinned woman had her red eyes trained on him as Kamui looked her up and down. "Can I help you?" He asked as she stuffed her hands into the hoodie's pockets.
White rabbit ears flinched as she stared the man down. "Hello, a little birdie told me that you had one busy morning." He had no idea what she was saying so she had to clearly state it. "One Shinji Nishiyo aka Kamui Woods, that's you, forced his way into the apartment of one Mount Lady... Uninvited."
Some recognition showed on the man's face, he did not think it was that big of a deal. "I am sorry if it was something that caused trouble."
"It is not what you did, it is who you did it to that's the problem."
