Hello :P It is Wednesday and I am back with a new chapter. This one was so fun for me to write. I got the idea for it because I was watching a Youtube video of the vlogging family in which has a little girl that heavily inspires Jorgie (James and Lynne's daughter)! So I headed off to write this. It starts off with some humour between Justin and Jorgie and then focuses on James, Misty and Jorgie as they go on a little walk together. It was nice to write just some sweetness. It takes place after Josie (James' Nanny) passes on and Johnny Jinn (James and Lynne's son) is born. I hope you enjoy :3

Ages:

Justin: 21

Jorgie: 2

James: 41

Misty: 34

Disclaimer: I own the story and the OCs mentioned!

"Okay, okay you can have one more bit, Jorgie." The deep purple haired male sighed and finally relinquished control over the bowl that he was holding in one of his hands while he was trying to make food with the other. He held it out towards his little sister but after clamouring over it so persistently for a good amount of time, she took a few seconds before she dipped her hand in. Justin tried to hurry her. "Are you going to take some or not?"

The squeal that the orange haired toddler let out after her eldest brother pretended to hide it from her to make her act more quickly made it obvious that she was indeed going to take some. Justin sighed and surrendered the bowl to her lap. Jorgie dipped her hand in the bowl containing tuna and sweetcorn for sandwiches and took some time to debate which bit of corn she actually wanted to eat. The deep purple haired male resisted sighing and pushed his hair from his eyes, going back to making sandwiches for himself and members of his family.

"You drive me crazy sometimes, you know that?" he spoke to the two year old girl as if she could understand perfectly what he was saying. But the way she stopped licking her fingers after eating her corn and just looked at him with wide eyes made one wonder if she could actually understand what he meant. Justin thought the same thing as me. He almost smirked as he took the bowl away from her again. "You do know that."

"More." Was all Jorgie said in response and needless to say, it was about the tuna and sweetcorn bowl that Justin had confiscated all over. The eldest Morgan son was reaching into the kitchen drawers for a spoon while his little sister sat on the kitchen island counter top and reached both of her hands, desperate for him to give into her. She made her eyes as wide as possible and her mouth went into an upside down 'u' shape for effect.

"The last bit was your 'more' bit, Jorgie." Justin told the orange haired toddler girl with a shake of the head and then he tried to ignore her while dunking the spoon into the bowl to pile the tuna and sweetcorn mayonnaise mix onto the slices of bread for sandwiches. He found the ignoring part difficult when she whined and twiddled her feet, desperate to get her own way. Justin gave her a firm glance and a sigh too. "No. No more. I'm not going to have any left if you keep eating it!"

I tried to hold back my smirks as I sat on the kitchen island counter top behind the toddler girl to make sure she was safe while the eldest Morgan brother continued making lunch for everyone. I had arrived at the Morgan household early and was waiting for Misty. And needless to say, those two wildly different yet similar Morgan members were keeping me highly entertained!

"No. No more." Justin continued telling Jorgie and I knew that she knew exactly what he was saying. I knew that she knew he was making valid points also. But still, just because it was him, she was trying to get him to relent. Unfortunately for them both, one of the common traits that they shared was stubbornness. The deep purple haired male finally stopped spooning tuna and sweetcorn onto slices of bread and it wasn't to give in to his little sister. It was to put his hands on his hips. "I'm beginning to lose my patience."

I found myself glancing over at Justin almost carefully in case this was true. I knew that he had had to step up in recent months and take on somewhat of a parental role. Out of my own duty, I was listening out for when things were getting too much for him so I could step in.

But fortunately for us both and contradictory to his words, after telling his little sister this, he showed off another little smirk. And she clearly liked this judging by the way that she giggled and scrunched her nose up, kicking her legs on the counter top. It was evidently the reaction that she was after by the way that after chuckling to herself, she stopped harassing her big brother to feed her more. And because of this, he generously took some of the tuna from one of the sandwiches (assumedly not his own) and actually popped it into her mouth for her.

And that kept the two year old occupied for a good few minutes. She was content to sit on the kitchen island counter top with me and watch her eldest brother wrap all of the sandwiches in tin foil before bustling around the kitchen to get other various lunch time snacks.

But clearly and judging by the fact that it was Jorgie that we were dealing with, after another few seconds, her smile started to fade away as she realised that Justin was no longer paying attention to her. She began humming to herself to get him to focus on her again but that didn't work. I glanced at her. She needed a new tactic. She knew exactly what to do. She shuffled on her bottom on the counter top and I was there in case she went too near the edge. She reached for a piece of fruit out of the fruit bowl. She picked it up and she held it in Justin's direction.

"'Nana" she named the yellow and curved fruit for him and continued holding it out to him, her little arm outstretched. The deep purple haired male's back was turned to his little sister and I as he rummaged in the cupboard for crisps but I could see his expression reflected in the wall oven. His eyes shut momentarily and his face showed off that that was holding back a groan. He paused before turning back towards Jorgie, nodding his head and giving her a polite smile.

"Yes. Yes, that's a banana. Very good." He told her and he gave her a thumbs up for good measure too. He hoped that that would keep her quiet. He had to move back near her to kneel in front of the island area to lift out the small picnic basket from its shelf and this caused Jorgie to believe that this meant Justin wanted her to keep up her charade.

"'Nana." She repeated with her own nod of her head but not a smile. She put the banana back in the fruit bowl with some gusto and then looked around for something else to point to and name. Justin held his breath. But he knew that it was inevitable. Of course it was. It was Jorgie. It was no surprise what she pointed to next. "Mich-mich."

"Yes, Jorgie. Sandwich. I'm making us all a sandwich." Justin replied and he promptly stood back up after taking hold of the small picnic basket and he nodded his head at his little sister all over again. But that time, he didn't smile. He really was beginning to lose his patience, like he light-heartedly said before. He scratched his head with his spare hand and tried to distract her. "Why don't you go look for Dad? He's probably finished showering by now."

And upon hearing this, the orange haired little girl stopped pointing at the pile of sandwiches that Justin had diligently made. Her face lit up. Yes, if there was anything that she loved in the world more than testing her eldest brother's patience, it was their lavender haired father. Jorgie beamed and held her breath. Justin did too. He believed that he had actually distracted his little sister from her naming game.

But like how it often was when you got your hopes far too high, it was a long drop from high up at the top! Jorgie continued beaming and without hesitation, she reached into the fruit bowl all over again. She picked out an avocado and tried to hand it over to her brother.

"Daddy." Was the word that came out of her mouth as she did so. I burst into a snickering sound of laughter. Jorgie looked at me, blinked but then continued holding the large seeded fruit out to Justin. She insisted. "Daddy."

"Oh my god, Jorgie, you drive me into insanity, you really do." Justin finally seemed to stop being able to be so patient and he spoke to the toddler girl in a voice that was inappropriate for children. But it wasn't a yell. He was just speaking to her as if she was far older than her years! She was left blinking and sticking her bottom lip out when Justin took the avocado from her and put it back in the bowl with the same gusto as she had done before.

But thankfully, before either of them started properly getting too annoyed or stubborn with each other, someone finally entered the kitchen. And it was their lavender haired father with blow dried hair after his shower and showing off a bit of a smirk as he heard his eldest son's last words.

"C'mon she's probably not doing anything too bad." James commented airily and his smirk continued. He gave me a nod when he saw me looking over his youngest daughter and I didn't hesitate to nod back. But then I focused on observing the interactions between the three of them. The lavender haired male added. "You were her age once.

"Dad…" Justin began in a firmly insistent way and his hands gestured as if he was about to deliver some truly shocking and important news. He tried to drum it into his father and make him understand before he put his hands on his hips out of exasperation. "She picked up an avocado and thought it was you!"

James didn't laugh. Though his eyes twinkled a little bit with bemusement, he didn't laugh at his baby girl. He nodded his head at his eldest boy to as not dismiss his claims before he looked over at Jorgie. And as if she really did understand what was going on, she didn't hesitate to redo her little act. She beamed all over again and picked the same avocado back up, that time holding it out to their father instead.

"Daddy!" she cried out as she held onto the fruit and straight away, the lavender haired male knew exactly what she was getting out. He walked over to her and accepted the green fruit from her with a kiss planted on her forehead before he held it out to Justin. But he didn't expect him to take it. He just explained the situation with more of a smirk.

"I think she just means that this will be a good food to take with us. She knows I like it." James told his son and the orange haired toddler upon hearing this – perhaps purposely or not purposely; I couldn't tell – happened to stick her tongue out at that moment. And after Justin's hands slipped away from his hips and he let out an 'ohh' sound, he furrowed his brow. His hands went back to his hips and he pulled a face.

"So I have to mash or slice that thing up for you now too? Really? Do you not realise how many things she could name for me in that time? She's already talked my ear off!" Justin waved his hands about once again to prove a point but James just shook his head fondly and put the avocado on the chopping board himself. He picked Jorgie up onto his hip and kissed her a second time, giving me a head pat too.

"She just wants to impress you, Justin." The lavender haired male told his son about the way that Jorgie liked to name everything for him but then he shook his head in a different way. And he smiled too. He focused on Justin. "But no, don't worry about it. I'll do it. You've done enough for me by making us food and looking after her while I showered. So thank you."

The deep purple haired male tried to stubbornly raise his eyebrow upon hearing this but after his father continued smiling at him sincerely and nodded his head, he knew when not to muck around and accept a dash of appreciation. He soon nodded his head and gave a thumbs up in return. But because his eyes soon showed a certain amount of hesitance – or perhaps he wanted to do more for his father in return for his kind words – James ended up chuckling and patting him on the shoulder at the same time that the doorbell rang.

"I mean it. I can handle everything from here. You go eat and relax or play your guitars or whatever. But can you answer the door for me first? It's Misty!"

And upon hearing that, the deep purple haired male didn't hesitate to comply. He stole a crisp from the mixed picnic bowl that he prepared and left on the counter top and popped that into his mouth as he headed down the vast halls to open the front door. He didn't nod his head to his father's words and instead patted his chest as his way of a 'yes' as he went.

James shook his head fondly and shared an airy and friendly look with me before he put his daughter back down on the kitchen island counter top with me and went back to adding the finishing touches to the lunches that his eldest son had made for everyone. He was slicing and dicing avocado while Jorgie commented on as much as she could for him as he did so when Misty entered the kitchen. Justin was nattering away to her when they both appeared.

"Literally thank you for doing this, Misty. Thank you for getting these two out of my hair. Especially Jorgie." He purposely saved these words when both the orange haired little girl and their lavender haired father were in earshot and he whispered his last sentence for comic effect. He also gestured and widened his eyes for that same reason as he did so.

"Awww…" Misty just commented at first and she pretended to shove the eldest Morgan son before she came over to the kitchen island area to hover near her best friend. She patted him on the chest then ran her fingers through Jorgie's thin locks after she tried naming something for her too. She turned and gave Justin a look so James didn't have too. "You're a mean big brother. I know you adore her really."

The lavender haired male smiled all the more in the presence of his best friend and I did too. I beamed at Misty and hopped onto her shoulder and nuzzled my cheek against hers. She said my name with such happiness that it made me feel warm inside. We always greeted each other like we hadn't seen each other in years!

Her contentedness continued even as she ignored how Justin pulled a face that said "debatable" while contradicting his expression and picking a bit of tuna out of Jorgie's hair for her. Misty just turned and looked at James. She smiled at him while stroking my cheek with her finger.

"I'm glad to be doing this. It'll be nice to hang out just me and Jimmy and the little one. And Pikachu of course!" she replied and she turned to me while she included me. Needless to say, I smiled all the more back. James did as well. Justin did too as his hands wandered into both of his pockets. Jorgie did as well but she soon went back to trying to steal some of the food that her father was then preparing.

"Yes, it'll be fun. And it's food made by the one and only Justin Morgan so we better make sure that we eat it all up." The lavender haired male attempted to make his eldest son's cheeks blush ever so slightly by making a fuss of him but it was Misty that had this effect on him when she teased him, telling him that she'll have to join the long line of his adoring fans. He ducked his head. James chuckled but then showed his sincerity by patting his cheek lightly. "In all seriousness though, I appreciate what you've done for me. Go chill out; you deserve it."

And upon hearing this, Justin nodded his head and smiled and touched his father's cheek back. Though he was probably going to wind up hanging out in Jordan and Lynne's annexe and helping the orange haired female with her infant baby, he appreciated the gratitude. So after saying goodbye to his dad and Misty and myself and even little Jorgie too, he disappeared down the halls once again, taking his share of the food with him.

The lavender haired male turned to Misty and after he gave her a side hug and a forehead kiss greeting, he gestured to Jorgie who was beginning to playfully pretend to lean against me. I didn't mind.

"Can you get her shoes and her coat on for me please? And her hat too? I don't mean to boss you around as well but Jorgie insisted on me adding this to Justin's picnic for us." James spoke to his best friend while chopping the final bit of food, pushing his hair from his eyes. I just smiled. It was certainly going to be fun having a wander and a late winter picnic with that lot!

Misty didn't hesitate to shake her head to dismiss the fact that she was being bossed around. She didn't need to say it but she was glad to be doing things to help out her little sister. And James was very pleased to watch as the orange haired female, clad in her own coat and winter gear, lifted Jorgie down from the counter and carried her over to the kitchen table where her garments were all ready to put on her. The lavender haired male finished getting ready himself after he packed the picnic in the basket and enjoyed the sight.

Little Jorgie adored her oldest half-sister doing things for her but she adored impressing her even more. And she did this by trying to put her shoes on and her coat and her hat all by herself. Needless to say, she got it all very wrong but Misty simply complimented her and adjusted all of her clothing items.

"Wow. You're such a big and clever girl, aren't you? We look like sisters in our winter gear, don't we? Oh wait!" she said comically and even though Jorgie didn't understand her joke, she scrunched her nose up and laughed with her when Misty laughed at her own words. I did as well. James did too. He covered most of his long locks with a beanie hat and tucked his scarf into his long coat. He held the picnic basket in one hand and picked his daughter up onto his hip when she was all ready with the other.

"You two are both nuts." He commented with amusement and smirked and after Misty just nodded her head and continued to laugh, he glanced at the clock. He turned on his heel and got ready to go but not until he allowed Misty to hold the picnic basket so they could link arms. "We better get going. These winter evenings come in fast."

And with that, we did indeed get going. Misty, James, Jorgie and I walked down the vast halls of the Morgan Mansion and out of the front door that Justin had let Misty in through and me before that. We made our way down the drive. We let ourselves out of the gate. We all walked together, I still perched on Misty's shoulder and her and James' arms still linked while he held a pink coat-clad Jorgie on his hip. We started to walk a good distance close to our destination when the orange haired toddler clamoured to get down from her father's hold.

"Down." She told him perfectly clearly and though she didn't need to, she pointed her finger down towards the ground. I thought about joining her so she could have another small person to walk with but I decided against it. After all, she had little warm boots on and I had bare paws! Besides, I liked being near to the orange haired woman.

"You want to get down? Okay. Okay, Cherub." James murmured to his two year old daughter sweetly and he complied just for her and put her down on the ground. He was left a little bit bewildered when he said 'hand' to her and held out his hand but she didn't take it. And rather than taking hold of his hand, she moved around to Misty's side and looked up at her and said 'hand' to her instead. The orange haired woman just looked at her best friend before doing anything while the lavender haired male pretended to gasp with hurt. "Wow. Wow, you're really picking your big sister over me? That's surprising. That's hurtful. But whatever makes you happy, I guess."

Misty smirked. She handed the picnic basket back over to James when he had to hold his hand out to that instead and took hold of her little sister's small hand. I thought about hopping onto the lavender haired male's shoulder instead but I thought that I'd hear him playfully mumble the word 'pity'.

Jorgie seemed very proud to be holding the fellow gingers hand as they walked and beamed up at her. Even so, she did turn and give her father a few glances in case he meant the disappointed words that he had said. But she evidently soon got over this by the way that, in the middle of proudly walking with her biggest sister, she stopped in her tracks and looked between her sister and her father.

"Baba?" she asked and her green orbs focused on Misty a little more than they focused on her father. But because she didn't quite always know exactly what she was saying, the older orange haired female shrugged her shoulders and looked at her best friend. I looked clueless myself but I had a bit of an idea. James understood perfectly and responded back to her from walking on the other side of Misty.

"Baba is at home, remember? Baba Johnny is at home with Mommy." James reassured his daughter with a smile but because her permanently flushed forehead creased with a little frown, Misty found herself reassuring her as well. But on top of that, I knew that she knew that that could have been a sensitive subject for the lavender haired male.

"You'll see him soon, don't you worry. You'll see them both. And you can tell them both about all of our time together, can't you?" the orange haired female asked her little sister and she asked with a smile. But instead of smiling back at her, Jorgie scrunched her nose and just mumbled 'baba' again. It seemed as if she only seemed to care about telling her new little brother about her day!

James noticed this as well and smirked himself. But he shook his head fondly. He shook his head with love. That little girl really did completely enrich his life. She was a right little character. She was his little character. And she lit up even the saddest and most difficult times of his life.

The orange haired woman found herself smiling when she saw her best friend smiling but she didn't have time to comment on it. For after walking a few more paces while holding her big sisters hand, Jorgie stopped in her tracks once again. And she frowned all the more.

"Justin?" she tried to ask but because she still didn't have all of her teeth, it came out in a sweet and lispy sort of way! Misty furrowed her brow herself and tilted her head, trying to understand what she was saying. Jorgie almost stamped her foot. She tried again. "Justin!"

"Justin is at home as well, my love." James told his two year old daughter and he stopped walking himself to put the picnic basket on the floor momentarily and reassure her with his hand as well as his words. He stroked her on the cheek. She looked up at him and he nodded his head at her. "Justin is at home. You'll see him soon too and you can tell him all about our time as well."

"Yes and I bet he can't wait for that!" Misty commented sarcastically but airily and James pretended to narrow his eyes as he tried to pick the picnic basket up all over again. But after speaking of the two other boys in their family, Jorgie decided that she wanted to be near to her favourite once more. She toddled over to her father's side and clamoured to be picked up. The orange haired woman picked the basket up herself and after we walked some more and James pressed sweet kisses to his daughter's cheek, clearly forgiving her for initially choosing Misty over him, she looked over at her best friend and spoke a second time. "He's a good kid isn't he, James? Justin's a good kid. He's really stepped up recently."

James was left raising a slight eyebrow when Jorgie suddenly let out a bit of a mischievous laugh when everybody started talking about her favourite brother. Or in other words – her favourite brother to wind up. I did as well. But the lavender haired male soon pressed a kiss to her hat wearing head to quieten her before he looked at Misty and smiled. He wholeheartedly nodded his head.

"Yes. Yes, Justin is a very good boy. He's my best big boy." He agreed with even more of a smile and Misty's expression softened. Jorgie actually remained quiet. Perhaps she was listening. James added more words to his previous ones as we all entered the park gates. "I definitely don't deserve that kid. But thank god that I have him."

Misty squeezed his hand upon hearing this. I remained on the orange haired woman's shoulder but I could almost feel my touch stretching out to the ex-rocketeer also. It had certainly been a hard time for their family and all of them had to step up in different ways. But in times like that day, we were appreciative to have normal days. It was so mundane to go for a walk and to have a picnic together but that was somehow made it so special. And so necessary too.

Once again, Jorgie clamoured to get down when we all walked a few metres into the park. I saw the lavender haired male roll his eyes slightly but it was mostly fondly. He put her down on her feet and allowed her to toddle off in front of him. He knew that she wouldn't go anywhere! And he was right. Both he and Misty watched and I did too as she walked some paces, bent down to inspect some leaves, adjusted her own hat before finally turning back towards her father and asking to be picked up all over again. And after James complied, she pointed to some things in the distance.

"Trees." She told him and as she continued pointing, the lavender haired male took hold of her hand and planted a kiss to it. He walked with Misty and smiled. He nodded his head. He praised her and agreed with her that they were indeed trees. Jorgie didn't hesitate to grin and name something else for her father. There weren't many people to point at so she settled for some Psyducks' splashing in the winter water of the water fountain. "Duckies."

"She is so funny." Misty couldn't help but comment and this was before Jorgie decided that she wanted to get down all over. James was bending back up from putting her on her feet when he turned to look at his best friend, listening out for what she was to say next. Misty didn't stop herself from continuing, adjusting her own hat. "She really loves to impress people by naming everything. Or maybe she just loves to learn. Do you think I was like that at her age?"

And strangely or perhaps not strangely at all, this put a smile on James' face more than anything that Misty could have possibly said. He made sure that his daughter was okay with walking in front of her and he was okay with her doing so and then he clasped Misty's hand instead. He turned his full attention to her. He almost chuckled.

"It's funny you should say that. I think about that all the time." He replied to her and after the water Pokémon enthusiast said 'really?' the lavender haired male nodded his head and continued. He found himself looking back at his daughter collecting shrivelled up leaves on her way as she walked. I couldn't help but wonder if they were a present for Justin! "I wonder? That's one of my favourite things about having her as my kid. She could be like how you were. I haven't heard Jordan mention anything like that – aside from the bath loving thing. I'll have to ask him."

Misty just nodded her head and then after that, we all momentarily got distracted with watching Jorgie being in her own little world. She really was her own little character. She stopped and collected leaves. She looked around. She peered up at the sky. She named things but seemingly, that time, she was naming them just for herself. She toddled some more. She made sure her family members were behind her. She waved at them. And after they waved back at her, she got own with her own little life. She was funny. But she was fun to be around.

James put his other hand in his pocket to keep warm while Misty was wearing gloves and he started talking again. He had left a good few minutes of silence as they walked that we both almost forgot what we were talking about!

"Some people think she's a handful." The lavender haired male began and after the orange haired woman remembered that they were discussing if younger her and Jorgie were alike, she automatically narrowed her eyes and gave her best friend an accusing smirk. James simply held his hands up and smiled innocently before chuckling and explaining, squeezing her hand. "I'm talking about Jorgie. Just Jorgie. People think she's a handful. I don't know. I don't really see it that way. She likes what she likes and she doesn't like what she doesn't like. She's fiercely protective. But I'd be a massive hypocrite if I commented on these things about her tiringly. I think she's like me!"

I smirked openly upon hearing this. Misty did too but the way that that smirk turned into a grin and she continued focusing heavily on the orange haired toddler while she continuously commented 'duckies' at the Psyduck and made a point of walking towards them in the fountain, after looking at his best friend for not too long at all, James knew that it wasn't just him that was making her react in that way.

"What?" he asked her while Misty continued to smile and laugh. At first, she just shook her head and remained looking bemused. But after the lavender haired male squeezed her hand, she squeezed it back and explained to him. She pushed her hair out of her eyes and looked at him as she did so.

"I don't know. It's just funny imagining me being like her. Of course I don't remember being that age so it's fun to think of me being like Jorgie." Misty replied and James was quick to reply with an 'oh, right' and some laughter and chuckles himself. And after this, the orange haired female's eyes became laced with curiosity. She noticed something that she didn't address before. She smiled and looked right at him once again as she asked. "What's your other favourite thing about having her for a daughter then? And is one of the other things really because it's like getting to witness younger me in a way?"

James hesitantly let go of his best friend's hand when Jorgie was so insistent on trying to peer at the Psyduck in the water fountain that was too tall for her to see into that the lavender haired male, the orange haired female and I decided to sit down at the bench right next to it. I decided to hop off Misty's shoulder to give her a break. She was too busy watching the ex-rocketeer nod to the first part of her words to thank me properly.

"Yeah. Yeah, of course it is. It's strangely fun to see her doing cute things and wonder if my very own Munchkin did things like that too." He responded to her and he playfully pretended to reach out and poke her cheek. She batted her hand away and scrunched her nose up but she laughed. James laughed along with her and shook his head. He responded vaguely at first. "And you know what the other favourite thing about having her as my daughter is."

Misty shook her head. And even after James tilted his head at her and readjusted his scarf and looked at her as if to prompt her, telling her that she really did know, he ended up having to tell her himself when she looked at him with innocent eyes. She tried not to get distracted by Jorgie getting closer to the Psyduck. James took his scarf off for good and for something to play with while he looked at Misty almost sheepishly.

"Aside from her being my daughter and adoring her with every part of me, my favourite thing about being her father is that that little girl right there made you and I a family. We were family before in practice but when she came along, we had a little bit of blood that tied us together. And I can't be more grateful for that. So yes, that is one of my favourite things."

As I looked at the water Pokémon enthusiast, I could tell that she wasn't expecting that answer from her very best friend. But after blushing gently and looking down at her lap, she looked back at James and welcomed his response. And she was as grateful for it as he was grateful that they shared Jorgie in a way. She showed this by having her own words back to him.

"I… I agree with you there, Jimmy. For years I've thought of you as family and I always thought to myself, it doesn't matter if it's true or not. It doesn't matter if it can never be. You mean so much to me and my family, as does your own family. So it never mattered if it wasn't true in fact. It was true to me. It was really true to me, Jimmy."

"I feel the same way, Munchkin." James was quick to respond and after he pushed a windswept bit of hair from his eyes, he didn't hesitate to stop fiddling with his scarf to reach for her hand against. I was the one keeping an eye on Jorgie while they had a bit of a heart to heart. The lavender haired male breathed out and squeezed her fingers. "I can't thank you enough for being so understanding of me and your Mom. It must've been hell at times. And I know I forgot about your feelings at times and I really didn't deserve you. So thank you for waiting it out. But I can't really thank you enough."

"But you have, James…" Misty responded to her best friend as quickly as he answered her. For years, she struggled with her feelings but people and especially people like the lavender haired male taught her to say her words and say her words proudly when she truly felt them. And in that moment, she did. She did exactly that. "On top of forgiving me for things, like you said, that sweet little girl binds us. And that's the most amazing thing of all. She made this happen. It's all down to her."

"It's all down to you being ridiculously accepting of me falling for your Mom…" James said in a mumble and that mumble got even quieter as he suddenly scooted along the bench closer to his best friend and wrapped his arms around her. He wrapped his arms around her and held her tight. His cheek was pressed against hers as he continued speaking. "But you are right too. That little kid is amazing. Jorgie is amazing. Sometimes I feel like I don't deserve that. And sometimes I think it's unbelievable looking back at some of the things that we've been through. But I welcome it. My Jorgie. And my Misty. Two of the best girls in my life. Two of my best friends. You are alike. You are the same. You are both the same because you both have a piece of my heart."

And even though Misty of course felt the exact same way about the lavender haired male and felt a little bit of a lump in her throat as they both grew reflective together, she couldn't help but mumble back. And she couldn't help but almost tease him.

"I hope you mean a puzzle piece…" she reminded him in a voice just for them and after he ducked his head but cuddled back against her when she laughed and hugged him tighter, they both glanced over at Jorgie. They both glanced over at little Jorgie in awe. We all did. Misty spoke aloud. "We're all the same because we are all family. But I still would like an answer whether she was truly like me or not."

And with that, something suddenly happened that gave Misty the answer she was looking for. Jorgie proceeded to let out a very displeased cry at being unable to see the Psyduck from being close up and this obviously startled the duck Pokémon. They began splashing. They began splashing hard. They splashed so hard that it drenched the little girl. She got soaked and she fell onto her bottom. She promptly burst into tears. James gasped and ran to pick her up.

"Oh no! Oh, Jorgie! Well… I think that answers it. I think that answers your question, Munchkin." The lavender haired male responded to his best friend as his daughter clung onto him and dripped water and cowered away from the Water type Pokémon. James cupped Jorgie's face but looked right at Misty. "If that was you, you would've tried to climb with them even more so! So I guess she has just as much Morgan in her too."

"Either way. We're family." Misty reminded the lavender haired male almost firmly before she chuckled, playfully wincing when Jorgie kicked her legs and sprayed her with water. All the little girl had to say was one thing. All Jorgie had left to say was one thing. Or two things, really. She asked for her Baba. She asked for her Justin. She asked for her brothers. Misty stood up off the bench, taking me and the picnic basket with her. She knew when it was time to home. And she didn't try and postpone it. "Yes, little one. Yes. Let's go home to our family."

And with that, we all left the park together and Jorgie was the only one of us who was not smiling! Misty was smiling because, all over again, she knew that her best friend loved her the exact same amount that he always had done. Maybe the same amount. Maybe more. Or maybe just in a new way.

And the lavender haired male was smiling because he simply enjoyed any moment with his girls. He enjoyed whatever time he got to spend with his ginger girls. They were his true wealth. And they were some of the people that not only knew but loved and appreciated his true self.

And last but not least, I was smiling for all of them. I was smiling for Misty finding a family beyond Ash and the amazing one they had created thanks to their couple. I was smiling for James who had created his own chaotic yet calm life and a child that made him even closer to his best friend. And I of course was smiling for Jorgie.

For she was half an angel but that wasn't just what made her special. She was special for a number of things. The way she drove her big brother up the walls. The way that she was devoted to assisting in the care of her new baby brother. The way she encouraged her father into an even more serene existence. She had done a number of wonderful things in her short time on earth. And I can't wait to share with you all the other gifts that she would go on to share. Because strengthening James and Misty together was just the tip of the iceberg. They were pretty damn unstoppable anyway.

The End.

There you go! Thanks so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed :3 This is a chapter where Jorgie really comes into her own. You can see her quirky, people-pleasing stubborn self who absolutely adores her brothers! And you can see that she really does like to get reactions out of Justin. She loves him because he doesn't baby her and talks to her as if she's an adult and for most of the part, is indifferent towards her! She really does love Misty also. She looks up to her and probably lights up at having a much older sister who is ginger just like her! And as you can tell, James adores them both. I've been back into the James x Misty bond lately so that's another reason I wrote this :3 Thanks again and I'll be back on Saturday actually because it is Shannon's birthday and I've got a chapter for her. So see you then!
