I hope you enjoy :3

Ages:

Justin: 20

Sammy: 27

Johnny: A Few Weeks Old

Jorgie: 2

James: 41

Disclaimer: I own the story and the OCs mentioned!

There was that wonderful smell in the air. Well, there was at the very least to me. It was always that way when that particular thing kind of happened. There was a wonderful smell in the air – freshness. A bit of extra delight. An extra special glow to the air. I could smell – or perhaps I could feel – the presence of a brand new baby all around me. It warmed me inside and out despite everything. But I didn't know that the new arrival was having this effect on everyone. And I certainly had no idea whom it was affecting when I trotted into where the new gift was after dropping JJ back off with Misty.

Alone, I made my way from Jordan and Lynne's annexe off the Morgan Mansion and headed towards the main area. I headed to the living room and breakfast bar area, where the smell of a new little being and a new little delight was coming from. And as soon as I pushed my nose through the doors, I saw it. I stopped smelling it. And I saw a whole new sight instead. The arrival of that little boy had bought a wistful joy into the hearts of many. And it even bought it to two particular males too.

You could hear a pin drop as I entered the room. There was a complete sound of silence. But that silence seemed to say everything. Their held breaths seemed to say even more. I crept nearer as they were both peering over the baby swing containing little Johnny Jinn. Before I even looked at their faces, I knew it was sheer delight. It was almost surprising to see. It was rather strange. But it was heart-warming also. They were both enamoured by the sight of new life. And it impressed even them.

Sammy reached forward and offered the tip of his finger to the baby, finally letting out an exhalation of breath as his other hand rested lightly on his boyfriend's leg.

"Look at him. Just look at him. That's crazy." He murmured and he shook his head. That head shake was taken over by a beam of wonder and he turned his head to look at Justin when the lavender haired baby didn't hesitate to squeeze onto his finger. He couldn't stop himself from glowing also. "He reacted. He knows I'm here. Do you think he knows I'm here?"

"Of course he does." Justin replied fondly and although he couldn't stop himself from shaking his head at his boyfriend, he smiled back at him nonetheless. And then his head shake was taken over by a nod. He was beginning to grow a little dissatisfied at staring at his new baby brother but he stayed anyway. And he was glad he did when Johnny continued to hold Sammy's finger. "His eyes are closed right now but you wait until he opens him. You'll definitely know he's looking right at you."

Sammy chuckled. He remembered that from the first few texts that he'd received from his deep purple haired boyfriend.

Johnny Jinn had been born so suddenly and on quite a topsy-turvy day. He had been born the day after Christmas Day. He had been born on the day that Josie passed on. Sammy had been in Alola with his family on that occasion. He had come back to his phone to the news of Justin's great-grandmother passing. But not only that, he had returned to the news of the birth of the baby boy also.

He came back to the Kanto region as soon as he could but Justin insisted that he stayed with his family. He was okay without him. And he knew that Johnny and Sammy would meet when the time was right. He knew that it would be a lovely moment. And I was witnessing it there and then.

"Yes, I want to see those amazing eyes of his." Sammy murmured all over again, unable to make his voice get any louder. It was almost instinctive for him to be quiet around the new-born. Justin followed suit. The older male moved his hand away from the deep purple haired male's thigh and stroked the little baby's hand while it gripped his finger tight. He breathed out. "I think he's sleeping. I wonder what he's dreaming about?"

"He's probably dreaming of a time when he has a bit more hair on his head." Justin couldn't help but comment back with a fond smirk, his own hand reaching out to stroke the wispy locks on the top of his head. I didn't refrain from nodding. For having a father and an eldest brother with an impressive head of hair, Johnny Jinn certainly lacked it! Needless to say, Sammy laughed all the more upon hearing this but just watched with surprised and somewhat curious eyes when Justin reached his hands under the baby boy's armpits. He continued. "I don't think he's sleeping, actually. He's usually wide awake around this time."

And with that, the deep haired male moved his hands under the baby boy's armpits properly and he lifted him up and out of his baby swing, his elbow automatically bending to make a cradle for him. Sammy watched. Justin stood up. He absentmindedly began rocking him gently. He gestured to show that he was right as Johnny's big, round blue orbs fluttered open.

"See." The younger of the two uttered, bending down just a little bit all over again so his boyfriend could see. Sammy didn't stop himself from peeking. Johnny Jinn blinked a few times but then he fixed his wondrous sized orbs on the oldest male. Justin showed off a soft smile, his dimple appearing. "See about both things? He's awake. He's awake and his eyes are even bigger in person."

"They are." Sammy's own eyes widened and I crept even closer still myself as he leaned forward to look at the baby. He offered his finger to him once more but that time, he didn't take it. He was too busy trying to move his own fists into his mouth. Justin chuckled and stroked them and then the Alolan male had a smile also. He shook his head in disbelief. "Photos definitely don't do them justice. They're so big. And they're so blue. That's crazy."

Justin nodded his head. I did too. I sat back seeing as neither of them had noticed my presence. But I didn't mind. My own attention was too busy being fixed on the new little baby. He did have such beautifully, big eyes. I couldn't help but wonder if it was because, even though he was so very small (in age, rather than length!), he was aware that he had been born on a special day. He almost carried a legacy with him. His eyes shone. They shone not only for him, but they shone for the great-grandmother that he never got a chance to meet also.

Sammy continued breathing out, impressed, but after a few more seconds, it was no longer Johnny Jinn's naturally curious expression that was capturing his attention. The deep purple haired male stood back up to his full height once more and absent-mindedly went back to rocking his baby brother, walking with him around the room and running the pads of his fingers through his sparse locks.

We finally shared a look and that was how I knew that he was aware that I was there. I stopped sitting further back and joined him by his side. And both of our heads tilted towards Justin. I understood the look in Sammy's eyes. He'd definitely never seen his boyfriend that way before!

He had kissed him goodbye at the airport to spend Christmas in Alola with his family and came back to him being a doting big brother! He'd see him be a big brother before, of course, with little Jorgie, but that time was far different. It was far, far different. He was only just a little bit older but he had grown a lot.

Sammy was surprised. But in the same breath, he wasn't. He always knew the younger male to be the caring and devoted sort, once he let his guard down. It softened every part of him to see. He got ready to open his mouth and comment on it but someone got there first. And it wasn't me.

"Well that is truly a tender sight, I must say." Justin's lavender haired father commented as he came in the door through the breakfast bar, running his hand through his long locks that Johnny evidently seemed to lack. Both Justin and Sammy looked up. James had a soft smile. But he had a bit of mischief in his eyes, as well as lingering sadness too. But that was to be expected. However, he couldn't stop himself from teasing his eldest son ever so slightly. "Where's your umbrella, Mr Poppins? And your bag? That could come in handy, actually. Might be able to hide this one in it!"

And with that, James reached behind him for his youngest daughter that had followed him in and was lurking around his ankles. He didn't hesitate to pick her up with some gusto and place her on his hip, pressing playful kisses to her cheeks. Jorgie giggled gleefully. It lit up upon seeing that even more than Sammy had at seeing Justin and Johnny together.

I knew that it had been a nervous time worrying how the little girl would react to no longer being the only sibling. And I was sure that she had worries about her parents – especially her father – forgetting her, though she couldn't properly express these concerns. So it made me very glad to see that even little Jorgie could tell that she was just as adored as always. By her father, at least.

"Oh, ha ha!" Justin automatically responded back to James' words and he narrowed his eyes but showed off a bit of a sheepish grin. He tried to continue looking at his father but soon went back to looking down at the baby when he gurgled in his arms. He stroked his forehead. He mumbled back in response to the comments about the orange haired toddler. "Believe me; you'd be doing me a favour."

I looked over at Jorgie at the exact time that she stopped beaming at her father. She narrowed her eyes. She narrowed her eyes over at Justin and most definitely didn't show off any hint of a grin. But when she felt Sammy's eyes on her, she automatically stuck her bottom lip out and made a whining noise. Needless to say, the Alolan male responded.

"The more things change, the more things stay the same. I left Justin as a meanie and came back and he's still one." He pretended to shoot the younger male a look but he wasn't even paying attention. He went back to using his long legs to walk him around the room and he was humming the baby quite an amusing rock song. Sammy rolled his eyes – fondly – and approached James with Jorgie, holding his hands out to the toddler. He stuck his own bottom lip out. "We should stick together, huh?"

The orange haired little girl hesitated seeing as she was in her father's arms, also known as her favourite place to be. But after she noticed Justin pausing humming to their new baby brother and subtly tilting his head as he listened, she knew what she had to do. On top of that, she wanted to as well.

She reached her own arms out to Sammy for permission. And after glancing at James to see if it was okay with him too, the tanned male took the toddler from him. He held her on his hip. He walked around with her also.

"You're a big sister now, Jorgie. I bet you're the proudest thing in the world! Congratulations." Sammy almost humoured her and poked her belly and though she couldn't understand all of his words, she definitely understood the sentiment. She looked very flattered. But she also looked as though she was playing hard to get. Sammy was the type to be patient enough to win her full affections. "You're such a good big sister, huh?"

That's what did it. At least, that paired with her peering over at her and Justin's lavender haired father and him automatically nodding his head and giving her a loving smile, though he had briefly grown distracted with looking at important notes on his phone.

Sammy's words and her father's reassurance flattered Jorgie enough for her to relax in her brother's boyfriends arms. And after playfully swatting at his nose ring, she babbled to him, gesturing for him to move closer to Johnny and Justin so she could show him. He surprisingly understood.

"Yes, let's see what they're up to. Justin is a good big brother too." Sammy commented and the orange haired toddler turned to glance at him but for once, she didn't bother to respond back. One of the reasons was she knew not to pick too many fights with him in front of their father and on top of that, she had grown distracted with the way that Justin was rocking and humming to Johnny Jinn.

She could almost tell that he was about to fuss for no reason like babies of that age often did. But as soon as he made a sound, she glared and decided that it was Justin's fault. The deep purple haired male caught on right away. He sighed.

"You're a bossy big sister." Justin told her and I noticed the subtle glance that James and Sammy gave each other. It was a slightly fond, knowing one but either way, the deep purple haired male didn't notice. He was too busy. He was too busy sighing. He walked over to their lavender haired male, holding the lavender haired baby for only a few more seconds longer. "He's going to our dad now, is that okay? Is that okay with you? He's having cuddles with papa."

Before James' phone was fully back in his pocket and before even he had time to object, his infant son was handed over to him from his eldest son. But automatically upon taking hold of him, he bent his own elbow to form a cradle for him. He held him close. But he didn't rock him. In fact, he didn't really look at him. From my point of view in that moment, he was too busy sharing yet another look with Justin's boyfriend.

"She's a protective big sister. She just wants to make sure that he feels loved." The older male spoke in response to his boyfriend's words but even then I noticed that after he himself heard them, the lavender haired male began looking down at his son. He began looking down at his son and stroking his forehead lightly, starting to walk him up and down. Sammy continued, smirking as he noticed that Jorgie didn't watch the pair like a hawk when it was James and Johnny. "She definitely showers him with devotion. He's a lucky boy, that one."

Justin only had time to nod. He only had time to nod as Jorgie decided to hold her arms out to the deep purple haired male instead. He got ready to take a step back and shake his head, intending to make out that he was tired from holding Johnny Jinn but she wasn't taking no for an answer! She clung onto him and he had no choice but to accept her from his boyfriend.

The lavender haired male did smirk upon hearing this but he flicked his hair from his eyes, feeling his phone buzzing in his back pocket. He walked his infant son up and down the breakfast bar a few times but then he stopped, hovering near both Justin, Sammy. And Jorgie too, of course.

"Speaking of baths and showers and those types of things…" James began and he looked down at his son once more, lightly poking the end of his nose but deciding to look over at Justin and Sammy before the little boy locked eyes on his. He looked at them seriously but softly. He smiled a little bit too. "How would you feel about giving him his bath now? I think he'd really like it from you two."

I found myself smiling upon hearing this, enjoying just observing everything and not getting too involved. The idea of those two young men who had surprised me with their awe towards the little baby being trusted with a prestigious job made me tingle with excitement for them! But I could tell that straight away, they didn't feel the same way. Both Justin and Sammy looked at each other. For some reason, Justin was more uncertain than his boyfriend! James reassured them both.

"You'll know what to do. Justin, you'll definitely know what to do; you've seen Lynne do it plenty." He told him and he held his youngest son in just the crook of his arm as he reached out to pat Justin's shoulder to instil confidence in him. He flicked his hair out of his eyes once more. He reminded him. "Jorgie will be around. Jorgie will be around to help."

"Yes, that's why I'm hesitating." Justin uttered in that dry-humour tone that he often did. Sammy rolled his eyes but that time, he didn't smirk. He could be as dutiful as his boyfriend and understood the trust involved when it came to the lavender haired male and his half-angel children. James tilted his head but didn't say anything. Before Jorgie could reach out and swat him on the cheek, he replied to their dad's words for real. "No, I'm kidding. But are you kidding? You're sure you want us? You're sure you trust us?"

"Well I trust one of you and that person is not my son." James found himself responding back in that same dry-humour tone. At that point, I was uncertain who got it from whom! But I couldn't focus on that, I was too busy watching. The lavender haired male turned his body towards Sammy. He was still holding onto Johnny Jinn but wouldn't be for much longer. Though he was nearer to the older of the two males, his trusting eyes were glancing between them both. He nodded his head sincerely. "Of course I trust you. Both of you. I've got some emails to reply to so I can do that on the bed with Lynne while she takes it easy. And you can see that that little boy is most definitely part Williams with the way that he enjoys bath time."

And upon hearing this, both Justin and Sammy gave each other another glance but that time, it was more nervous excitement. They shared a smile with one and other but then looked at the oldest male, nodding their heads at him. They didn't need to say anything. Like their silence expressing how amazed they were with the new life, the nods of their heads accepted James' trust and reassured him that he was right to do so.

The ex-rocketeer nodded back. He smiled at the both of them. And went one step further. He pressed a simple kiss to the forehead of Johnny Jinn and then he offered him over to Sammy. The Alolan male looked quietly surprised but he accepted the baby, knowing to hold him softly and tenderly. He supported his neck. He gave his boyfriend's father a lingering glance.

"Enjoy your time to yourselves. You can trust us both with them both." He told him equally as sincerely and the father of his boyfriend looked at him back but for only a second. He ducked his head slightly. But he felt reassured.

James nodded his head just once more and then he patted both the male's cheeks. He said an affectionate goodbye to Jorgie and a little one to Johnny. Following that, he pulled out his phone and took a look at all the emails he had to respond to. He pulled a face. But he headed off.

Both Justin and Sammy watched him as he left the room, running a hand through his long locks. The tanned male was focusing on being careful and gentle with the new-born baby and was softly stroking his cheek.

But despite the fact that Justin had Jorgie purposely swatting at his face and trying to cover his eyes, he somehow had more ability to focus on the way that his father left. He thought to himself. He thought to himself for just a second. He must have shown off a tiny, thoughtful smile. Sammy caught on to that. He moved closer to his side, comfortably holding the baby and reaching his hand out to his boyfriend's lower back.

"He seems to be handling everything pretty well, huh? Considering." The Alolan male commented and then he went back to glancing down at Johnny Jinn as he began sucking on his own fists. But when he felt Jorgie's eyes on the lavender haired baby boy, he felt able to look back at Justin all over again. He showed off an admiring smile. "He's very strong."

"He is." Justin nodded back and he stopped looking so thoughtful. And instead, I watched how he grew quietly inspired. He couldn't stop himself from showing off a bit of a grin, gesturing with his hand for Jorgie to stop trying to get his attention from his hip and used that hand to entwine with Sammy's. "He's the greatest. And he knows how much of a blessing Jinn is."

And with that, the deep purple haired male tugged his boyfriend off towards the bathroom along with "Jinn" and Jorgie also. But as I got ready to follow them all and proceeded to trot behind them, I couldn't help but notice even then that maybe Sammy had picked up on something that hadn't been spoken about. And it wasn't because the silence informed it all. It was because it had gone unnoticed. Or maybe it was because it was just beginning.

Sammy had read between the lines and observed how James wasn't being as overly natural and parental as he had known him to be when he first met him and saw him with Jorgie at the age of less than two months old. But at that point, he put it down to the loss of Nanny Josie. And as well as that, he was appreciative that it made Justin able to step up which meant he could see him being rather parental instead. And that was a blessing to him. So he shrugged it off. And he followed after Justin.

It was rather amusing but also endearing watching the tanned male and the pale skinned one working together to try and remember the safest way to bath the baby. I had been through it many, many times with the Ketchum children and offered them advice and they gratefully accepted it.

The deep purple haired male got the small baby bath out as well as the thermometer and towels and wash cloths. And after doing that and counting all of the apparatus and making sure they were all there, he stood up, putting his hands on his hips. Sammy was sitting on the closed lid of the toilet along with baby Johnny. Jorgie was plonked right in front of him. Justin glanced at them all.

"I'm going to get him some fresh clothes and a nappy so are you okay to run the water? I'll test it when I get back." Justin spoke, naturally most of all towards Sammy but he glanced at us all. Sammy nodded his head. Justin got ready to leave. He hovered in the doorway before he did so. "Are you okay with these two? Especially this one?"

And after Jorgie stuck her bottom lip out all over again when she knew that Justin was referring to her and the deep purple haired male decided to give her a smile so she knew that he was joking, Sammy nodded a second time and reassured him that they would be fine. Justin nodded back. And then he left the room. It was just Sammy, Jorgie, Johnny and I. The orange haired toddler looked over at Sammy and Sammy nodded his head. He came to sit on the floor with her.

"Your brother is mean, isn't he? Don't worry, I know he adores you really." He told her and after he seated Johnny comfortably on his outstretched legs, he reached his hand out to stroke Jorgie's hair. She most definitely appreciated the validation! She shuffled on her bottom and moved round to cuddle into his side.

I couldn't help but find it amusing that she liked him so. Part of me knew that, despite her having a wary and sometimes anti-social personality, she had known him since she was less than two months old. So he had always been there. But I couldn't help but wonder if she was purposely fond of him to try and make Justin jealous. I soon openly shook my head at that. He wasn't jealous about it. He wasn't encouraging of it either. He was merely indifferent!

Sammy wrapped his arm around Jorgie. He complimented her more. He smiled at her.

"You want to be as good of a big sibling as him, don't you?"

And once more, the orange haired toddler couldn't understand all of the Alolan male's words but she understood the sentiment. She wrinkled her nose and smiled. And then she decided that she wanted to proof his words. In that headstrong way of hers, after Sammy carefully put baby Johnny down on a pile of towels on the floor to focus on filling his tub with water, she moved round to her brother. And she began trying to yank his socks off.

I saw right away. I thought about intervening but I looked over at the brown haired male before doing anything. At first, he was seemingly too busy focusing on not putting too much water in the little bath. But at the very last second, he saw what Jorgie was doing. She yanked the second sock off her new little brother's foot. He looked down at them both when he heard Johnny's little mewling noises. But his face didn't scrunch up with displeasure. Sammy's eyebrow quirked upwards a little bit.

"Well… Well I suppose that is helpful. We'll need to undress him at some point." He mused to himself but Jorgie wasn't listening. She was holding the socks in her hands and almost wondering how they had come off. And upon seeing this, Sammy shook his head fondly and smirked. He stopped holding the small tub under the big bath taps and put it back down on the floor. He made sure to show his appreciation to the orange haired toddler. "Thank you, Miss Jorgie."

I smiled when the half-angel child scrunched her nose up all over again and grinned upon hearing this. That most definitely got her attention! But what got my attention was Justin coming back into the room, holding a selection of clothes and nappies for his new little brother.

"Thank you, Jorgie." He hummed and he repeated Sammy's words but he wasn't being mocking. He came back to join the rest of us, giving me an acknowledging pat on the head as he kneeled down on the bathroom tiles. He noticed that Jorgie had taken off little Johnny's socks. And Jorgie noticed him noticing that. She soon started trying to yank all of the baby's clothes off for him. Justin had a similar look and eyebrow raise as his boyfriend. "That's… That's actually helpful so carry on. But be gentle."

Jorgie shuffled around on her bottom and gave her big brother a look that was almost offended; appalled at the idea that she'd be anything other than gentle with their baby brother. But she decided to let it go. She attempted to undo the poppers of Johnny Jinn's sleep suit. Sammy stepped in to help while Justin got busy by checking the bath water with the thermometer.

"Let's do this together, shall we?" he asked the orange haired little girl and I liked the way that he included her and I think that Justin did too. I noticed the way that he paused checking the temperature of his brother's bath and tilted his head around the same time that Sammy said these words. Jorgie just nodded her head but soon enough, she had other ideas. She started trying to undress herself. The Alolan male didn't know whether to intervene. He looked over at Justin. "Is Jorgie being bathed also?"

The deep purple haired male looked up. He looked up and saw Jorgie attempting to undress herself after giving up on Johnny Jinn. Justin breathed out. He knew that she was headstrong. But he was too. It was going to be a competition. But first of all he commented, sighing. He explained.

"She really shouldn't. She baths before bed so she actually winds down." Justin told Sammy and Sammy slowly nodded his head. I think that he was surprised to have left Justin not knowing much about his sister's routine to knowing a lot! Jorgie reached down to her ankles to try and tug her socks off. The deep purple haired male got ready to stop her as gently and believably as he could. "Hey, do you want to try my special invention? It's called a sitting bath. You can be in your nappy and then I'll show you what it is."

And upon hearing this, Sammy was almost as intrigued as Jorgie. In fact, I was too! It was lucky that one of Justin's traits was that he was inventive. He was very hesitant to lie in life but when it came to keeping the peace and doing the right thing, he could come up with colourful little fibs. So much so, that one would almost forget that they were white lies.

For a rare occasion, the orange haired toddler listened to her formerly long haired big brother. He helped her get down to being in her nappy and seated her on one of the towels while Sammy put Johnny back on his outstretched legs and got him undressed completely. I could tell that he was slightly anxious about him having an accident on him so I remained nearby.

But most of my attention couldn't help but be taken up by Justin filling up a special cup of water for Jorgie after she was contentedly and curiously seated. He placed it next to her and then every so often, started dripping water down her head and down her back. She shivered. She shuddered. She squirmed. But then she beamed. She very much started to enjoy it!

Sammy started to relax enough that Johnny wasn't going to use him as a diaper and continued watching Jorgie flicking water at herself as Justin took hold of the infant baby and lowered him into his own bath. He quickly became submerged with water. And like Jorgie at his age and the age that she was then at too, he clearly very much enjoyed it. He was far too young to smile but he started kicking his legs. Justin held him firmly but carefully and started doing the same thing to him as he did with Jorgie, sprinkling water on his face. He sneezed adorably. Justin smirked.

"Look at you two having a new and special kind of shower. See, I know my way around bars and I know my way around baths too!" he scrunched his nose up playfully and though of course, the two children didn't know what he was saying, Johnny Jinn kicked his legs all the more and Jorgie cackled as Sammy took the chance to sprinkle her with water too. He laughed back upon hearing her. But it goes without saying that most of his grin – most of his smile – was towards Justin.

He watched the way that he held onto his new little brother and bathed him. It was no doubt that he was a lot less nervous about it having his boyfriend by his side but he was unmistakably at ease when it came to that little boy also. It was endearing. It was so special. It was wonderful to see. It was wonderful to think about. And it led Sammy to start thinking about other things.

As he moved closer to the deep purple haired male and his lavender haired brother, handing Jorgie one of her bath toys to play with so she felt like she was getting a proper experience, he reached his hand out to brush a lock of Justin's hair from his eyes. Though he was seemingly engulfed in singing that rock song playfully to his little brother all over again, he turned to his boyfriend when he felt his touch. He was all ears. Sammy was all smiles. Impressed ones. But bashful ones also.

"I still don't know how you think of half of the things that you come up with." The older male complimented his boyfriend and after he just chuckled and went back to paying attention to "Jinn" but remained listening, Sammy found that easier. Sammy found his heart fluttering a little but he couldn't help but come out and say it. "You're really good with them you know, Justin? Do you… Do you ever think about having one of these of your own?"

The deep purple haired turned back to look at Sammy. At first, he didn't know what he was getting at. But then he saw the hopefulness and almost vulnerability in his eyes and saw his gaze flickering between him and his two siblings, he knew exactly what he meant. He looked away. He hesitated. He sprinkled some more water on Johnny. He sprinkled some more water on Jorgie. But then he turned to look back at Sammy. He looked at him properly. He smiled. But he shook his head.

"I… I'm going to be honest and say no, I haven't thought about it much at all." He told his Alolan boyfriend and after he briefly looked away, Justin reached his wet hand out and tapped under his chin. Sammy soon looked back at him. The formally long haired male tilted his head on one side but had some more words for him. Truthful ones. "But… But there's a first time for everything. So I'll let you know when I do."

And with that, while still holding Johnny Jinn under one armpit and while Jorgie was occupied with dunking my tail in her water pot, Justin held the side of his boyfriend's face with that wet hand of his and leaned in, planting a kiss on his lips. Sammy didn't hesitate to return it. And after they were done that small moment of affection, the tanned male stood up like Justin had done before and spoke to him. I couldn't help but wonder if his knees were okay to carry him!

"I'm going to get Jorgie a change of clothes as well. I think she's going to need it after she's done with your special bath!" Sammy told him and he leaned down to plant a kiss to the top of Justin's head as he looked up at him and he chuckled. The deep purple haired male nodded his head and gave him a thumbs up. And with that, his boyfriend left the room.

Justin found it easy to turn his attention back to his siblings and especially go back to bathing his new little brother for his father. But he couldn't stop his own his own thoughts from wandering. They wandered as he finished fussing over Johnny Jinn and put a towel on his own outstretched legs, getting ready to lift him out the bath and swaddle him.

No, he hadn't thought about kids of his own before. To tell anybody the truth, he often felt like his parents – especially his dad – had enough of his own so that he didn't have to!

Justin turned his head to look out the door where Sammy had left. It was true that he himself was so young. They were both pretty young. They had plenty of time before they started thinking about that properly and they had a lot to do also. But although Justin didn't actually express it, he was flattered with his boyfriend's words. They were subtle. But they meant everything. They meant they could have a future together. A future where they would be joined for always. It might have been far off in Justin's mind. But it was nice that it was there.

And like how it often went down in the lives of our amusing group, Jorgie had obviously noticed Justin's almost dream-like expression and had absolutely noticed that not only was she not getting his attention but Johnny Jinn wasn't also. What a crime!

I should've known what she was about to do. When she stood up and her green eyes darted between Justin and the empty tub of Johnny Jinn, I should've known exactly what she was going to do. But I was almost as slow to react as Justin who was starting to think about the present rather than the future. But he clearly wasn't very invested in what was actually happening!

Before I could think of it anymore and before I could even think of properly reacting, Jorgie had done it. While sticking her bottom lip out in concentration, she squatted over the baby's bath tub that was filled with water. She gave Justin one last look. She gave me one last look too. And then she plonked herself down in it.

And needless to say, the water went everywhere. It went all over the floor. It went all over me. It went all over Justin. It went all over Johnny Jinn. And because he was already soaking wet, as Justin gasped and instinctively held his baby brother in front of him, the little baby decided that he would make him soaking wet and in a different way.

So that was how Sammy came back to us all. Me leaping onto the toilet seat to avoid all of the water and avoid shocking everyone. Jorgie purposely splashing her brothers from a tub that was far too small for her. Johnny having a rare wail and kicking his legs, almost regrettable that he had had an accident all over his biggest brother. And Justin, dripping wet from the both of them.

The Alolan male gasped. But it was a good thing that he was so equipped and calm when it came to disaster. He simply reached for one of the towels that wasn't wet and bundled both Justin and Johnny together in one. And then he reached for another. He put it on the deep purple haired male's head. He patted it. He patted it sympathetically. But he smiled amusedly too. He pressed a kiss to the end of Justin's nose.

"Let's not think too hard about having one of our own, huh? Let's just focus on getting you to survive brotherhood." He uttered understandingly and amusedly and while Justin just pressed his lips together and showed off his dimples, Sammy just laughed. Sammy just laughed and laughed.

They didn't need to prepare for parenthood there and then. But the truth was that whole experience with doting on Johnny did prepare them both for that day – especially Justin. But not in ways that you would think.

The deep purple haired male saw his own father struggling at times and finally realised that even the strongest people had their setbacks sometimes. He saw his orange haired step mother – who was the softest person he knew – be the bravest of all. He witnessed his little sister go from the baby of the family to a fierce protector of her half-angel little brother. And most importantly of all, he felt himself going from a still slightly closed-off male to one that was accepting of all kinds of love, especially from his new baby brother.

Johnny Jinn prepared him for everything. Johnny Jinn prepared him for the rest of his life. But nothing could prepare him for the love that the two of them would share. And nothing could prepare him for their astounding similarities also. That little baby was truly gift and it was perhaps the first time that Justin really accepted one. And that lead to nothing but wonderful things, not only for him but for Sammy too. And them both. Together.

The End.

There you go! Thanks so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed :3 If there's anything to know about Justin in a relationship then it's that he really only focuses on the present and doesn't think too much about the future. Sammy is pretty happy for things to be that way for a few years but then of course, that starts to be a bit difficult for them. That time in their relationship has been mentioned - and it also leads to the closeness of Justin and Katie! I'm glad to have introduced Sammy. He's a very calm and level-headed person, though I reckon people think he's the reckless one! He gets on well with James and as you can see, gets along with Jorgie too. Justin and Sammy are lucky to have each other. And they are both very supportive to the whole Morgan family after the passing of Josie :3 Thanks again and I will be back next Wednesday with another chapter so see you then!
