"And here you are!" An unknown voice loudly exclaimed. She snapped awake, brushing the dark hair from her eyes.

"Where the am I?" She sat up. She was in the back of a car, outside a massive airport.

"You're dead! Now get the hell out of my car and get in the airport or you'll miss your flight" She got out as quickly as possible. The car whooshed away behind her. It was busy here, a bit too busy.

She entered the airport, a wave of warmth hitting her. It felt like being wrapped in a warm blanket or sitting in front of a fire after a snowy day.
She stood in shock.
Hundreds no thousands of people surrounded her.
She balled up her fists, an A5 piece of construction paper, she hadn't noticed she was holding, was scrunched in her fist. She unfurled the sheet.

It read:

Name: Carolyn Sue Jones
D.O.B: 28/04/30
Gate: 116.
Bus: 96.
Home Address: 6650 Brook Cottage, New Lake, Afterlife.

Below the home address was a barcode and below the barcode was a set of instructions.

Follow the arrows to the moving walkways. Select one, don't overthink it, go with your gut.
Once arrived, ensure the gate number on your ticket and on the sign match. Ensure your ticket is scanned.
Once the plane lands, you will be at a bus terminal, select the correct bus, scan your ticket, and get off the bus at your house, Welcome!

Carolyn wasn't sure how she felt. She began walking, her body seemed robotic as she stepped onto the first moving walkway she saw.
50 people were on the long walkway, all just standing around, squished together like a can of sardines.
Everything began to feel tight and claustrophobic.
Too many people surrounded her, and she nearly laughed, the situation reminded her of the first and only time that she ever used the subway.

The walkway felt as if it was moving far too slowly. She began to feel an itch to move.
After an unknowable amount of time they arrived, she looked back at her ticket.

She looked at each sign above the gates.
Gate 116...116...here we are! She rushed over to the gate, slamming her ticket on the worker's desk, it seemed that everyone had been seated on the plane already.
A woman stood at the desk, her hair meticulously and neatly braided away from her face.

"Carolyn Sue Jones. Welcome! Just walk through here" She indicated to an open doorway.
Carolyn couldn't get words out, she just nodded, she was far too overwhelmed with her situation. The woman scanned the ticket, passing it back to Carolyn.

She nodded thankfully and rushed onto the plane.

It was a rather large airplane. Filled to the brim with people. It was quiet, the sound of breathing mixing with the sounds of the engine.

She glanced around, her cheeks began heating up. She decided on the first seat she saw.

She slept through the flight. Awoken violently by the rather ungracious landing. Time seemed to blur and before she knew it she was there. At her new home. The bus was somewhat empty when she got on. The scenery was beautiful. A big town, not a massive built up city like New York or anything but it was quiet and bright and friendly.

The air felt clean. There was no litter in sight.

She looked up at her new house. It was two stories but it still felt small and homey. She walked up to the door gently knocking on it, was she supposed to have keys? Was she living with anyone? A familiar face answered the door.

"Carolyn?!"

"Blossom!"

A/N: I know the airport thing doesn't make much sense but It's not really meant to.
