A/N Sorry this took a while. I've had a lot going one recently and haven't had much energy.
The women hugged. Blossom pulled away
"Come on in honey. Ted isn't here at the moment he's just out getting the groceries for me" Blossom's voice was so nice to hear again.
"It's nice to see you again Blossom" The women linked their arms, Blossom leading her to the kitchen.
"It's nice to see you too. I bet you're hungry I just finished some stew come and try some"
"Of course. Hey, this wouldn't be the stew you made for Thanksgiving that one time would it?"
"Yeah!"
"Oh, that stuff is great!"
Blossom pulled out a seat at the kitchen island for the both of them. She laid out two bowls pouring the stew out.
A familiar feeling overwhelmed her. Memories filled her mind.
Thanksgiving 1965. The entire cast and crew sat around fold-out tables. The room was warm and filled with laughter. Carolyn had been seated next to John. Everyone had brought something. Blossom: stew, Jackie: Alcohol and Diet Coke, John: Cesar Salad, Carolyn: Wine and Cheese, Ted: Pumpkin Pie, and Felix: Deviled Eggs.
So many more foods had adorned the tables. It had been one of the nicest nights of the year.
"I'm back!" A deep voice called through the house.
"In the kitchen!" Blossom called back. He quickly walked in holding 5 shopping bags in each hand. A rip was heard from one of the paper bags
"Shi-" A loud crash sounded through the house. A gallon of milk spilled mixing with the cracked jar of strawberry jam. A carton of eggs cracked open on top of the now-squished packet of bread.
Her laughter rang through the house. It was the kind of laughter that made you cry and struggle to breathe. Carolyn laughed over her bowl of stew.
"The fuck- When did you get here?!" Ted had to do a second glance at her. Carolyns laughter only increased.
"She got here just a few minutes ago"
"How about we watch a film?" Blossom had proposed over dinner.
"Sounds good"
"Yeah"
"But what film?" Ted asked.
"Ooh, Something Disney!"
"Noooo"
"Come on!"
"What? You still have to see some of the better films!"
And that's how Blossom roped Ted and Carolyn into watching Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, and Peter Pan.
This would be Saturday nights for the next couple of decades albeit with the addition of Lisa, Ken, Jackie, and Felix.
