It was a long night for everyone. Once we got home, Damon and Elena laid Rose down. I stayed in the living room, as I couldn't bear to see her in pain anymore. I could hear them say their goodbyes, and I felt out of place. I wanted to leave and go home, but both Elena and Damon thought it would be better if I rested here, instead of going home.

I didn't mind staying, as I felt very tired and weak. It had been a long day, and I hadn't been in a fight in years. Soon after, Elena brought me to Stefan's room so I could get some of her clothes that she had left behind.

I have no idea when, but Damon eventually killed Rose and left without us noticing. Or at least I wasn't aware. Once he left to bury her body, I decided to rest. Elena gave me some clothes to wear the next day, then she headed out, I guess to talk to Damon. I would have joined, but I'm not great at giving emotional support to people who aren't my family.

That night, I slept in one of their many guests rooms they have and actually had a nice rest. Their bed was extremely comfortable. I slept trying to move on from what happened.

The next day, I wake up nicely rested for the first time since I've woken up from that coffin. I've learned that this group always has something going on, so I took a shower immediately after I woke up.

After taking a nice long, steamy one-hour shower, I finally got out. Wow, that was relaxing. Well, besides the fact that every time the shower hits my wound, it feels like fire burning my skin.

I should be able to heal, but I can't. If I heal only after less than 24 hours, they will get suspicious. I need at least a few days. Ugh. Why do regular humans have to be so weak; it's exhausting.

I wrap myself in a towel and head out of the bathroom, when someone bumps into me. Well, won't you look who it is.

"What the hell?" Stefan asked me, surprised, as he bumped into me.

"Hey Stefan. Long time no see." I stated, smiling.

"What are you doing here?" Stefan asked, surprised and angry.

"I'm guessing Damon didn't tell you?" I asked, being curious.

"No, he didn't." He states back annoyed. Forgot how he always this uptight.

"Okay. Well, long story short, Rose stabbed me, and Damon thought it was better for me to stay and rest here than head home." I state, crossing my arms.

"Hmm. Why don't I believe you." Stefan states, and I roll my eyes.

"No clue, but if you can excuse me, I need to go change." I try to walk past him, but he stops me.

"You know, this whole act you're putting up. The others may fall for it, but I don't trust you. I have no idea what you're planning, but I'll figure it out." He states suspiciously, eyeing me up and down.

"You know Stefan, I have no clue what made you so paranoid, but you looking at me like that in a towel is not making you look good in my eyes." I state and he immediately moves out of my way. I smile at him and make my way back to the room.

You know, I think it's time I spend the day with Stefan. I mean he is the only one who doesn't truly trust me. And besides, I have been spending enough time with the doppelganger, I need a break.

I get dressed and head to the lounge area; when I see Damon and Stefan talking.

"You brought back John Gilbert? That was your big save Elena move?" Damon asks confused.

"I went looking for Isabel, found John instead. He said he could help us and..we're desperate." Stefan states trying to justify.

"We're not that desperate, Stefan. The guy tried to barbecue me." Damon states angrily.

"Damon, Bonnie's new witch friend is working with Elijah. We have to assume the moonstone was never destroyed." Stefan stated. Wait, Elijah has other witches? I thought he was talking about me when he was talking about witches.

"Elena is putting all of her faith into some deal that she made with Elijah to keep everyone safe! I mean do you trust Elijah? I don't trust him he's an original he can't be trusted. It's not like we can go up and kill him because apparently he can't die." Stefan states all irritated with the situation.

"Okay. I feel like I walked into this at a bad time." I said as I walked into the room. Damon turned around to give me a quick wave, and Stefan got even more annoyed.

"Speaking of not trusting why the hell did you say she could stay here?" Stefan asks even more annoyed. "I mean for all we know she could be working for Elijah."

"Stefan. She has been helping to keep Elena safe and was quite literally stabbed trying to protect Elena. So I apologize for using some human decency and letting her stay the night." Damon states.

"When have you ever acted human?" Stefan asked, confused.

Damon shrugs his shoulders "I'm trying something new. But she isn't our problem."

"Yeah, Stefan. While you may not trust me, it seems there are more pressing matters to concern yourself with." I cross my arms and Stefan grunts in annoyance. "And who is this John and Isabel?"

"They are Elena's parents." Damon states moving forward with the conversation.

"Wait, I thought her parents died in a car crash." I asked confused.

"Well technically those were her adopted parents. But long story short, her real parents are still alive: one's a vampire, and the other is a vampire hunter who has tried to kill us many times." Stefan explains the situation to me, and I nod, still confused. I thought my family was messy.

"Exactly, so back to your crazy idea. Still waiting for the part where John Gilbert is the answer to our problems?" Damon asked Stefan.

"He knew about the sacrifice. Isabel told him."

Stefan tells Damon, making me more intrigued. There's a way to stop it? "He said he knew of a way to keep Elena safe."

"And how do we do that?" Damon asked, calming himself down.

"He's not talking. At least not to me anyway." Stefan states.

"Well, if he is Elena's dad, why doesn't she just ask?" I questioned

"Elena doesn't exactly like him." Damon stated, and I looked confused. "Look, all you have to know is that we cannot trust John. So bringing him here was a stupid idea, Stefan. Thanks for adding to my problems."

"Yeah. I'm sorry about Rose." Stefan says sincerely to Damon as he walks out the room.

"Yeah, well you know I only knew her for five minutes." Damon says, turning around to face him. I know that face. I used to see that face on Nik's before he shut everyone out of his life.

"Well you cared, for five minutes. I wonder what that means." Stefan says hopefully.

"It means I cared, Stefan. I'm changing, evolving into a man capable of greatness." Damon states, and I squint my eyes at him.

"Better watch your back, Stefan. I might get a hero complex of my own" Damon mocks and then leaves the room. It never gets old seeing different people cope with death. Some people laugh, some cry, some kill, some make fun of their brothers.

It's just Stefan and me left in the room, and this is my chance. "So, what are your plans for today?"

"None involving you." Stefan says with annoyance. He then takes out his phone to look at a message.

"No need to be so harsh." I state offended. "Who texted you?"

"A friend. She needs my help, so if you can excuse me.." Stefan states, making his way past me, but I follow.

"I want to come as well." I state following him.

"Absolutely not." Stefan laughs and continues to the door. I hurry to step in front of him. "Move."

"Wait, wait. Okay, you don't trust me, but let me earn your trust." I pleaded with him.

"Maybe another time." He tries to go, but I move in front of him again.

"We will be working together, whether you like it or not. But this will never work if you don't decide to trust me. And obviously my word is not enough; let me show you by helping you today." I ask again. He looks at me questioning.

I tried to give him a pleading look.

"Okay, fine. You can come." He said, not entirely happy, but I acted elated.

"Great! Otherwise, I was going to tell Elena how you were looking me up and down earlier while in a towel if you said no." I state relieved, and Stefan just looks at me getting red.

"What?" Stefan asked annoyed.

"Let's go!" I say heading out the door.

"Hold up! I wasn't checking you out, I was inspecting you!" Stefan screams at me as he follows me out the door.

"That doesn't make it any better." I walked to the car.

"Well... well..." Stefan states, and I look at him, smiling, and wait for an answer.

"Just don't tell Elena." Stefan stated in defeat, and I nodded my head, giggling. We both got into the car and headed to our destination.

"So care to tell me where we're headed?" I ask.

"To see Caroline. Do you remember her?" Stefan asks as he drives.

"Yes, the preppy blonde girl. I haven't seen her since the first day we met." I state.

"Well, you're not. You're staying in the car." Stefan states, and I look at him surprised.

"What? I thought the whole point of me going was to help." I state.

"Yes. Well, if we need any help, I'll call you. But until then, you will stay in the car, okay?" Stefan states, and I just look at him irritated. "I said you could come and I will let you in on stuff I want you to know. Don't push it."

I roll my eyes at him and sink into the chair like a little kid. He's being so unreasonable right now. "Whatever."

We arrive at Caroline's, and Stefan gets out of the car. I stay inside. "Don't go anywhere. Got it?"

"Yes, Mom." I state mockingly, and he heads inside, annoyed.

My plan was to spy on him, but he came back out quicker than I thought. He was only in there for like five minutes at most. And he came out angrier than when he went in. I guess our problems moved on.

"What happened?" I asked, and Stefan got back into the car.

"We're going to see Tyler." Stefan stated.

"The werewolf," I asked, intrigued. I've been wanting to meet him for days.

"Yes, we need to talk to him before he does something he'll regret." Stefan starts driving now.

"What happened?"

"Tyler didn't know about vampires existing, or he knew, but thought Caroline was the only one in town. Now he knows about Damon and me." Stefan explains.

"Why is that a problem?", I asked.

"Damon killed Tyler's uncle."

"Okay. I see how that could be a problem. But what can one new werewolf possibly do?" I ask, still confused. There's something he's still not telling me.

"There is another werewolf in town, her name is Jules. And she knew Tyler's uncle." Stefan finally spits it out. "We cannot let Tyler join her."

"What do you mean another werewolf?" I get up from my lounged position to sit up.

"Exactly what I said. Why are you getting so tense?" Stefan notices how my posture has changed and asks.

"You don't get it, werewolves travel in packs. If one werewolf comes to town, expect many more following behind that one. Especially if one of their own was killed." I say worryingly.

"What? Why didn't you say that before?" Stefan blames me for the situation, stating that I should have said it earlier.

"I don't know. Maybe because I wasn't informed there was another werewolf in town!" I scream at him angrily.

"You know what? It's fine. If we can convince Tyler that we are on his side, everything should be fine." Stefan says, trying to ease the tension in the car.

"You'd better hope so, Salvatore."

We arrived at Tyler's house about 10 minutes later. Damn, his house is huge. I'm pretty sure his mother is the mayor and his ancestors were one of the founding fathers, but still. It's honestly incredible how the founding fathers of this town, all had relatives that were supernatural.

Instead of knocking, we broke in. I unlocked the door from the front and Stefan came in from the back. I walked in and there was Tyler in the room right next to me. As I walked into the room, I saw him on a laptop not noticing me, and Stefan stood menacingly behind him.

Tyler ran away toward my direction, and was startled by my appearance.

"Who the hell are you?" Tyler asks confused.

"A new friend." I say, smiling. "We need to talk."

"I don't even know you." Tyler states, backing away, but he backs up into Stefan.

"We are not going to hurt you, Tyler." Stefan states, putting his hands up.

"Then why did you break in?" Tyler questions.

"Were you going to let us in otherwise?" Stefan immediately questions back.

"Tyler?" We all hear a woman say. Tyler tries to run, but Stefan pins him against the door.

"Not a word" Stefan threatened him. I tried to peek out to see who this woman was for future reference.

"Tyler? I'm leaving for the memorial." The lady says confused. She looks for a moment, but then leaves. I'm assuming that is Mrs. Lockwood.

"Okay. Now that that is settled, we should talk." I tell Tyler as he tries to get out of Stefan's grasp.

"I'm not saying anything until he lets go of me." Tyler stated, and I told Stefan to let go. Stefan reluctantly let go, and Tyler eased his neck.

"So, let's start over. My name is Kalle." I extend my hand to shake. He was about to give me his hand, but then he jetted out of the room in his attempt to escape. Stefan went after him, but I told him to wait.

We both watched as Tyler ran to the door, but he couldn't get out. He kept trying, but nothing was working. People were so ignorant.

"What..? What did you do?" Tyler asked me, and Stefan laughed.

"I'm sorry. Let me try again. Hi. My name is Kalle, and I'm a witch who is trying to help you." I say, annoyed at this point.

"A witch? Like flying on a broomstick? Green, ugly type of witch?" Tyler asked, and I got offended.

"First of all, words hurt. And no, this isn't a fairytale. But I did put a spell on this house that won't be lifted until you take a seat and talk with us." I say, crossing my arms. I can see Tyler getting annoyed, but he eventually listens.

Stefan guided him back to the office to sit down and talk. Stefan was sitting right across from him, while I continued to stand by. I hoped he wasn't as stubborn as his friends or it would be a long day.
