1692 Wallingford, Connecticut

"No! She's just a little girl!" Her young daughter was only a child. "Burn me, I'm the witch! She's innocent!"

"Silence!" Magistrate Holland commanded. "We have orders from The Lord. This land needs to be cleansed!" He ordered his men to light the torches.

"Mommy!" The little girl was crying in fear. Like her mom, she was tied up on the same stake as her.

"We'll see angels soon. Up there, you'll forever fly free." The woman tried not to cry, she didn't want to upset her child. She manoeuvred her hand to touch her baby. "I love you." She heard the prayers of the reverend but didn't hear his words. "Damn you all." She glared at the judge, Holland was smirking at her. "The Old Ones. You sold yourself." Her visions, she tried her best to protect her child by hiding her psychic gifts. "May the Good Lord have mercy on your soul." She closed her eyes when the fire landed on their feet. "Baby. Pray to the angels. They'll be here right away." She saw the reaper, she was waiting for them. "Take her now! She doesn't deserve the fire!" She didn't want her child to scream.

"As you wish." Normally reapers were neutral, but the reaper was sympathetic to the psychic. She touched the little girl, taking her soul out of her body.

"Keep her safe." Feeling the flames, she hoped her own death was quick. "I'll see you soon darling." Her husband burned last year. Smelling burning flesh, she prayed that her visions were wrong. Otherwise burning alive was the least of their problems.

Present Day

"How much sleep does a baby need?" Phoebe was watching little DJ sleeping soundly in his bassinet.

"He's exactly like his father." Jenna lovingly tucks her baby in.

"Devon John. I thought you were going to name him after Dean?" Devon John Winchester was the next generation to be born.

"We were going to, but Dean insisted we name him after Devon." Jenna cried when Dean suggested the name once she went into labour. "Laura, she's excited to be a big sister."

"And a cousin." Phoebe couldn't believe she was pregnant. "I still don't know how it happened." Coop wasn't exactly alive, plus it was unheard of that a cupid could get a woman pregnant. Although Paige was proof that true love didn't discriminate. She was half-whitelighter.

"Were you drinking? Devon John was conceived after we got drunk at the bar." Jenna was on birth control, but nature must've had other plans.

"Maybe, Ireland had fantastic ale." Phoebe and Coop never bothered with protection, they figured there was no point. "I hope my baby will be okay." A future cupid-witch, this was new.

"I'm sure you'll be fine." Jenna and Phoebe quietly leave the room. "Your residency when does it start?" Phoebe was finally working at a hospital, after many tests and interviews, she was allowed to sit at a counselling session in a hospital in Connecticut.

"In a few weeks." Phoebe was so nervous. "Coop and I wanted to stay in San Francisco, but competition is brutal. I was lucky to get this residency." Connecticut wasn't her first choice, but it was better than nothing. "I probably won't be home for a long time." She missed her sister already, poor Paige was alone in San Francisco. "Our condo is too small for three people, we had no choice but to sell." Phoebe was surprised how much they got for it, it was enough for a small house. "At the moment Coop is trying to find a house before the baby is born." Phoebe at the moment was staying at Dean and Jenna's home, she and Coop were waiting for their keys from their new landlord.

"Well, I hope you find a good place. The East Coast is beautiful." Jenna missed the area she grew up in.

"I can't believe Dean has to work." At the moment Dean was on a job, he was fighting a major fire in South America.

"He's not always a hunter, he puts his family first." Dean was reluctant to leave, but he needed to provide for his growing family. "He's glad you chose to stay with me instead of Piper." Jenna was relieved she wouldn't raise a newborn by herself. Being a single mom to Laura was hard enough as it is.

"Till I leave." Phoebe knew as soon as her new place was ready, she was gone to Connecticut.

"For now. Once your baby is born, we'll be on the first plane there." Jenna couldn't wait.

"Jenna? Phoebe?"

"Shh! There's a baby sleeping!" Phoebe loudly whispered.

"Sorry!" Piper whispered back as she walked into the room. "I got the book you wanted." Phoebe made arrangements for her book to be delivered to Piper and Sam's home address.

"Stories about Folklore and Old Tales. Is that what you're reading to my future niece or nephew?" Piper was wondering if she should get pregnant again, seeing DJ made her want to have a second child.

"Maybe. But after what we saw in our dreams we may have to be prepared for anything." Phoebe dreamed about demonic creatures coming out of the sky, they were here to greet their Master. "Remember what Grams said, every tale has an origin." She opened the book and saw a picture of a Will o' the Wisp hovering over a swamp.

"How's DJ?" Mel and Laura were currently at nursery school, they wouldn't be back till later that afternoon.

"Sleeping." Jenna was glad, she remembered her and Dean's restless nights. Laura cried a lot back then. "How's your book coming?"

"Good. With whatever time I have left, I hope to finish before my baby is born." Phoebe was writing about love and loss. She sighed. "I miss him." Cole died saving their lives.

"Me too." Piper and Cole didn't get along, but she understood how Phoebe felt. "It's not easy losing your first love, even if it ended badly." Phoebe and Cole had an ugly divorce.

"Mmm." Jenna always felt guilty that she didn't say anything about the Ancient Athame, although the Sisters said they didn't know either. She quit her hunting job, telling Murphy to never call her again. How he got that knowledge, she always wondered if he was working for someone, with him as the middleman.

"To Cole." Phoebe sighed. She loved Coop, but it was hard to get rid of the past.

"To Cole." The other three echo. When they saw a bright light they put a finger on their lips. "Shh!" Once Paige orbed in.

"Sorry!" Paige was dressed in her uniform. "I can't stay long, I'm just here to drop this off." She hands Phoebe a box. "It's from Victor, he said it's for Coop."

Once Phoebe opened it, she smiled sadly at the box.

"Dad's metal." Victor was a war vet. "He gave this to mom to give to a future son when they got married." Since he had daughters, he and Patty decided to hold on to it till a male family member was born.

"Why didn't Sam get it?" The Silver Star was given to military personnel when they fought for their country. Jenna's dad had the same star, he was a vet of the Korean War.

"John already left Sam and Dean his own metals, we already displayed them at our house." Piper always wondered what John went through, the metals he had were very rare.

"Same here." Jenna looked up at the display. "You would think we'll get our metals." She said with slight envy.

"Yeah, witches, hunters and whitelighters get squat." Paige always hated how they were forced to hide their true selves.

"Totally." Phoebe wondered how she'd explain to her child about the dangers of exposure. She yawned. "My ride will be here soon." Since Coop was away at work, she agreed to go to a spa retreat in Arizona with an old friend of theirs.

"It's about time Kyra got a break." Their old friend, the former demon Kyra was taking a much-needed vacation.

"She deserves it." Phoebe tells Piper.

BEEP BEEP!

"Dammit." Jenna heard DJ crying. "Looks like little Devon John is hungry." She gets up.

"I'll help you." Piper went to heat up a bottle. "I can't stay long Sam will be home soon from work." She was so happy that Sam got a job as a teacher at the local middle school.

"And I gotta get back to work." Paige was back on duty, she was currently on her break. "Have fun! Maybe I'll see you in Arizona!" She orbs away.

Once Phoebe got into the van, she and Kyra started talking once they hit the highway.

"A plane would be better." Arizona was a long way. Phoebe yawned. She patted her belly, her baby bump was now showing.

"I needed to see the sights. Besides I'm sick of airplane food." Kyra takes out her camera and takes pictures of a farm.

"Don't blame you." She flew out here, she and Coop were trying to follow Sam's and Piper's lead about living normal lives. They even got new IDs for Coop.

"You miss him huh?" Kyra wasn't a seer anymore, but she knew how Phoebe felt. She and Cole were acquaintances when she was a demon.

"Yea. But it's also like, I lost a part of myself." She didn't know why.

"Letting go of the past is never easy. My son." Kyra sighed. "I wish I was there for him growing up." She teared up.

"Oh Kyra." Phoebe holds her hand.

"That's okay. I know I'll see him again. Our lives on Earth are just a blip." Kyra knew Samuel was upstairs. "Your baby, you'll have it much easier than I did." Life was rough in the old days. "We didn't have plumbing, diapers, or electricity. We made do with what we had. The Old West, if anyone knew the reality, maybe western media wouldn't romanticize it so much." Her students, Kyra made sure they were well taken care of. "I'm going to take my nap. Tell me about your book when I get up."

"Sure." Phoebe's unborn baby wasn't her first child, it was her book. She knew what to title it, but she figured to write about her pain before she went back to work, and before becoming a mom. She watched the scenery go by and closed her eyes.

"No!" Phoebe screamed. She cried and wailed as her husband burned.

"I love you! I love you both! Don't forget that!"

"I love you too!" Phoebe was glad their daughter wasn't here, she didn't deserve to see her father getting murdered. She covered her ears as her husband screamed.

She felt her arms getting lifted, she must've fainted.

"I'm sorry." Her best friend Margaret said with sympathy. She uses her handkerchief to wipe the vomit from her face.

"She's safe, right? She didn't see this."

"Mother took her berry picking." She purposely stood in front of Phoebe, she didn't want her to see her dead husband's remains getting taken down. "We'll pray that he's in Heaven."

"I know." She saw her husband wearing a robe, he was waving goodbye in her slumber. She sniffled. "The funeral. He always wanted to be with his parents." It was forbidden for witches to have a holy funeral, but Phoebe knew he'd rather have a traditional one. "The Holy Circle. We'll have it there."

"Shh. Not here." Margaret saw Magistrate Holland looking in their direction. "Come. Your daughter will be back soon. We'll cook supper."

The chicken and carrots were delicious, but Phoebe might as well be eating sawdust, nothing will be the same again.

"Mommy, where's Daddy?" Her young daughter was looking up at Phoebe.

"Work. Remember, he's with the angels." Margaret knew of one, she came here from time to time to help out with the local reaper.

"I don't know." Phoebe didn't know what to say. "He misses you." Their daughter wasn't dumb, she had the same gifts as her mom.

"I miss him." She started crying.

"Shh. Don't cry." Phoebe held her as they cried. "Be strong for Daddy."

Margaret and her mom teared up as well, they loved all three. They jumped hearing pounding.

"Shh. Act normal." Margaret knew who was at the door. Sure enough, Magistrate Holland was standing by the door with his cronies.

"Evening your Honor." Ann curtsies.

"Just doing our annual check." Magistrate Holland sees the women eating dinner. "Smells delicious." He takes a deep breath of the delicious smells.

"Pardon our rudeness. If you knew you were coming, I would have given you a plate." Ann was smiling but secretly wanted to punch the bastard in the face.

"I won't be long." Holland orders his men to look around for any signs of witchcraft.

Phoebe, her daughter, and Margaret were eating silently, trying to pretend that everything was normal. Margaret saw her mom looking at one of the men in disgust who took a piece of chicken from her plate and started eating.

Phoebe held her daughter's hand, reassuring her to not be afraid.

The men searched every nook and cranny for anything unusual.

"I see chicken feet." One man commented.

"Forgive me, we are planning on serving that to our pigs. I didn't have time to clean before supper was ready." Ann tried not to hate the intruders, but it was hard. Especially Magistrate Holland. Him, all three women knew he was dabbling with the dark forces, but because of his position of power, they were stuck.

They agonizingly waited with bated breath until they finished their investigation.

"All clear." The women sigh in relief. Their neighbour, Catherine was hanged for suspected witchcraft last month. Burning at the stake was reserved for convicted witches regardless of age.

"Have a pleasant evening my Lord." Phoebe, her little girl, and Margaret stand up to curtsy with Ann.

"May the Lord watch over our souls." Phoebe bowed.

"Amen." The women repeat. Once they were gone, the women sighed.

"Damn." Swearing was a sin, but Phoebe didn't care. "What nerve, chicken feet. We're eating chicken!" She pushed her plate away.

"I don't know. It's kinda funny." Margaret smirked. With those words, everyone giggled. "Kissing his bosses behind. Like that will win him any favours." Margaret never liked Holland's right-hand man, he had bad teeth with a worse attitude.

"We'll help you with the dishes, then go home before curfew." Phoebe starts cleaning up.

"What are you doing?" She was watching Holland chanting a satanic prayer. "Those demons will only give you ten years." She whispered silently. She stood in the shadows watching Holland killing a baby deer. "Ugh. At least save the meat as food." What a waste of life. She held on to her pendant, it kept her invisible to evil. She sank back into the shadows seeing a demon walking into the room.

"My Lady." Magistrate Holland kneels to the demon. "Thank you for answering my prayers."

The demon nodded looking around.

"You have what I came for?"

"Yes, my Lady." He hands her a small plate. "My visions, this is what I see." The plate had unfamiliar drawings on it.

"Hmm." The demon looked it over with great interest.

Phoebe was desperately dying to know what she was looking at.

"And this is what you see."

"Yes. The first demons. The ones that birthed demonkind. Lucifer, he had nothing to do with it." Holland was shocked to see what he saw. "The Old Ones. The first evil."

"The Old Ones?" Whoops. Phoebe wanted to kick herself for talking out loud. She prayed they ignored her.

"You hear something?" Holland was looking around.

"How long will this take?" The demon asked, ignoring his question.

"I do not know. Traditional magic won't work."

"Well then get started." She shimmered away.

"As you wish." Holland takes the deer's blood and starts making Satanic symbols on the table.

The Old Ones. Phoebe shuddered at the name.

"May he rest among the stars, forever blessing Mother Earth with his spirit."

"Bless it be."

It was a few weeks after that awful night, it took Margaret a few days to get all of the remains of her best friend's spouse's remains. Once the ceremony ended, she opened the bird cage to let the ravens fly free.

"The blackbirds. Misunderstood by Man, these wise creatures represent transformation and rebirth. Your husband, father, and fellow neighbour have already been reborn in a new way."

"Amen." There were only them, plus a few friends from a nearby village attending the funeral. Phoebe held her daughter's hand as her husband's ashes were spread into the bog. "The bog, also misunderstood. Even the smallest of creatures have happy lives living in the swamp, thankful that they have a safe place to have long, happy lives." When a frog croaked, her daughter giggled.

"Mommy. Daddy says hi." When several frogs started croaking, everyone hummed a holy prayer.

"They are singing Earth Mother's praises. Let us be thankful, that we have the most blessed gifts, a roof over our heads, as well as a people that love us." Ann tells the crowd.

Once almost everyone was gone, Phoebe looked at the swamp.

"Margaret."

"What is it?"

"If anything happens to me, or my child. Run. Take your mom and run away. Ask the Indians for assistance." The brown-skinned people, their Medicine Man warned them to leave town as soon as possible, evil was on their way. "Make arrangements for me to return to the Earth." She saw her death but hoped her daughter wasn't involved in the crossfire.

"I promise." Margaret squeezed her hand. "It's getting late, let's go home."

The winter was long and hard. To save money, Phoebe and her daughter moved in with Margaret and her mom. She used her home to rent it as an inn for travellers.

"Brr." It was only January, it will be a while before spring returns. "Maggie. I have your rent money." A few coins, weren't much, her inn wasn't making much money at the moment since the storm kept trappers away, but she wasn't a mooch. "It should be enough to buy animal fat and wood to keep your home warm."

"Our home." Margaret corrected. "You know that you are welcome anytime."

"I know." Winter was one of Phoebe's favourite seasons, the witch hunters didn't like to traverse through the thick snow and ice. "I'm sorry that I can't offer much. Taxes are getting raised again. If this keeps up, we'll be living here permanently!" She didn't want to impose on her best friend's kindness.

"Nonsense. With your sewing skills, you'll be just fine." Margaret sighed. "What did you see." She didn't spy, her powers weren't as strong as her friend's.

"The evil ones. They need vessels." All demons did.

"Okay. Then we'll vanquish them." Most demons were pests, and weren't easy to fight, but they did their best.

Phoebe shook her head.

"Ordinary vessels won't do. They need powerful ones. Strong enough to hold their souls."

"Witches." Margaret was afraid of that. "Why would Holland bring them back?" The Old Ones, they had no idea what that was. They asked the nearby Medicine Man who told them he didn't know, however said if they were stronger than demons, they needed powerful bodies to hold them in so as not to burn their vessels out.

Phoebe shrugged.

"Power? The Throne of Hell? Wish I knew." Holland was strong but was only a borrower. "His Deal, it will be due soon." His Deal wasn't typical Deal, whatever he was seeking, his demon was willing to wait for him. However, he was running out of time. "Whatever the Old Ones are, it can't be good."

They stopped talking once her daughter and Ann walked in.

"Hi, sweetie!" Phoebe kisses her daughter. "How was the fair?" The whole town usually gathered in the town square for the winter fair, hay rides, hot apple cider, silly games, everyone had a good time.

"It was fun! Magistrate Holland, he gave me a prize!" She proudly holds up a doll.

"That's...nice." The doll was most likely harmless, but she was no fool. She was going to destroy that thing when her back was turned. Phoebe will make her an identical one. "She looks cold, let's me put her by the fire, Margaret will you get her out of those wet clothes?"

"Psst!" Ann was gesturing to Phoebe.

"Go and do your chores." Once she was distracted, Phoebe walked up to Ann. "What did you find out?" Ann wasn't a witch, but her dead husband was one. Margaret inherited his magical blood.

"Once I took the child to the square, I watched the Magistrate just as you asked."

"And?"

"That demon, she was with him." She was in a visage of a beautiful woman, most demons were vain.

"Pretty risky, you know how fast gossip spreads." The Magistrate was married.

"Anyways, she was looking for you."

"Me?"

"If what you are saying is true, then they are looking for vessels." Ann was an undercover hunter.

"Or a blood sacrifice." Killing innocent people, blood magic was very powerful. "Start packing. You, Margaret, take my child and leave town. Tonight."

"Yes." Ann hated to leave everything behind, but their lives were more important. "And yourself?"

"I have to go to my home. My Book, I have to take it with us." All witches had a tome, but she used hers as a diary. "Just take what you need, the forest, the Indians will help you." Their Medicine Man was very powerful, they protected his people's borders from demons.

Unfortunately just when they were about to leave that night, the witch hunters broke down their door.

"NO!" Phoebe screamed as she was getting pulled away. "You don't understand!" She didn't care about herself, it was seeing her two best friends getting taken away as well. Her daughter. Where was her child?

"Silence witch!" Phoebe cried out getting backhanded. "You will not bewitch us!"

"Don't say anything!" Ann begged. Like Phoebe, she didn't care about herself. "The Lord will save us!" Her daughter, the young child. She damn herself to save them both.

Holland smirks as they get taken away.

"Justice will be served."

Phoebe paced back in forth in her cell. How, how did they know? She sat down on the floor and sighed. Hearing her cell open, she looked up and saw her jailer walking in.

"You. You're making a mistake." Her visions, she saw what Holland was trying to do. "Why?"

"You won't understand. Good, evil. They can coexist." The sorcerer was looking pitifully at Phoebe. "Sacrifices need to be made."

"By killing us?" Blood magic was dangerous, even the purest soul gets corrupted by it over time. "My child. Where is my child?" Her baby.

"Sunset will be here soon. I suggest you pray."

Phoebe sobbed in her cell after the door closed. She hoped her baby was far away from here.

"Please anyone, help me." When she saw a woman appear, she asked for help. "Help. Please, get me out of here." She knew a whitelighter when she saw one.

"You can see me?" The woman looked surprised.

"You're my whitelighter, aren't you not?" Phoebe wasn't assigned a whitelighter, whitelighters were incredibly rare in New England, only because of the risk of exposure.

"A whitelighter?" The reaper looks at herself. "No, I'm just borrowing this form."

"Death." When the woman nodded, Phoebe sighed. "I'm on your list, aren't I?" The woman never said a word, instead, she pulled out a scroll. "My daughter, please tell me she's not on your list." Phoebe will gladly burn to protect her daughter. "She isn't, in there, is she?" God she hoped not.

"I'm sorry." The reaper was supposed to be neutral, but she held Phoebe's shoulder as she sobbed.

"My baby. My friends." Phoebe knew death wasn't eternal, she'd be reunited with her husband. But this? "Tell me. My visions, are they true?" She had a nightmare that they were ripping out reality.

"I don't know. I only exist to do my job." Reapers only followed their lists.

"Promise me. Promise me this." Phoebe sighed. "Don't let her suffer. The flames, she doesn't deserve the pain."

"Phoebe? Phoebe!"

"Huh?" Kyra was shaking her awake.

"You okay?" Phoebe's face was wet with tears.

"My baby." Instinctively she touches her belly. "It's so hot." Phoebe still felt the fire.

"It's the weather. You would think that fall would be chilly, but it isn't." Kyra was looking out the window.

"Yeah." Phoebe wiped her eyes away. That dream, history wasn't kind to witches.

"It'll take us a day before we reach Arizona. Our hotel, we'll be bunking here overnight." Normally they'll drive all the way, but because of Phoebe's pregnancy, they were stopping at a hotel for the night.

"Are we in Kansas still?" Phoebe sniffed. Ugh. She smelled like burnt pork.

"New Mexico. You slept most of the day, it's after midnight now." The sky was dark.

"Oh." She yawned. "Kyra?" She still felt those flames.

"What?"

"Nothing." They were driving over a bridge, Phoebe was watching a small beam of light dancing over the water. "Is there a restaurant open? I'm starving."

Phoebe sighs as she reads her book. She wasn't tired but was trying to make herself fall asleep. Her book, it was telling the story of the Will o' The Wisp, a lost spirit wandering the Earth, forever trying to find what it lost.

"That's it." She tosses the book on the bed. "I need to get some sleep." The van was leaving right after breakfast. She closed her eyes and forced herself to fall asleep.

"Here you go." Phoebe smiles as she signs her book.

"Thanks." The woman clutches the signed book. "You saved my marriage."

Phoebe shook her head.

"No, you did. All I did was give you the tools." She smiled at the line. So many fans. Her smile froze when she saw who was standing in front of her.

The ghost of Cole Turner was holding her book.

"Cole." But how? He was dead. When he started talking, Phoebe blinked.

"Is something wrong?" Cole's visage faded away.

Phoebe felt her beating heart slowing down. The man standing in front of her wasn't Cole.

"No. You just remind me of someone." She smiled and signed his book. "Enjoy."

Phoebe woke up with tears streaming down her chest.

"Cole." She started sobbing. She held on to her pillow crying hard, all her emotions came rushing out. Her memories, her loss. The tears, she couldn't hold them in anymore. She sobbed hard, not noticing a small light flying in her room.

'Lost little girl?'

"Maybe." Phoebe felt stupid talking to herself, but she needed an ear. "I feel like I lost a part of myself."

'Losing someone is never easy.'

"No, it isn't." She sighed. She wanted to call Coop, feeling guilty crying over Cole. But just when she was about to dial, changed her mind. Instead, she calls her sister, hoping she wasn't on patrol.

"Hello?"

"Hi, Paige. Did I wake you?"

"Nope. Remember I work nights now? I'm just watching trashy TV and eating junk."

"Mind if I join you?"

An hour later, Phoebe burps as she polishes off her sandwich.

"God I needed that." She missed her favourite restaurant. "I didn't think you ate vegan food." She grabs a handful of popcorn.

"I don't. But I'm trying to lose weight." Paige was determined to move to a different department when she heard there was a possible opening in the new inspection unit. "Plus eating there reminds me of you." Ever since her sisters all left, Paige was getting lonely.

"Sorry." Phoebe tears up.

"Hey! I was kidding!" She saw Phoebe's tears. "Besides, I can go wherever I please." She used her whitelighter powers to get around. "Is everything alright?" She came here from San Francisco, she was getting bored of sitting at home.

"Everything's fine." Phoebe felt stupid for crying. "Pregnancy hormones." She lied.

"Ah." Paige was looking around Phoebe's hotel room. "Damn. Is your doctor's salary paying for this?" Her room was beautiful.

"This is nothing. Wait till I get to Arizona." Kyra paid for both to go to a luxury spa.

"I will." She gets up to stretch.

"You could always stay, my bed is big for two people." She pats the side Paige was lying on.

"Believe me, I like to, but I promised Rodriguez I'll hit the gym tomorrow morning." She yawned. "But maybe I'll join you in Arizona."

"See you." Phoebe smiles as Paige orbs away. She was debating on calling her other sister, but she knew Piper didn't like waking up early. "Time to hit the hay." She turns off her lamp and wraps her blanket around herself to fall asleep.

The light that forced itself to hide from Paige glows brighter.

'Lost little girl.' It dives straight into Phoebe's body.

"Burn the witch! Burn the witch!"

Phoebe was crying seeing the crowd. All of them found the woman and her daughter guilty of witchcraft.

"My god." The poor woman was getting burned alive with her young child. She covered her ears hearing the screams.

'Loss.'

"Cole." She felt her heart breaking when the screams stopped.

'Spare my daughter.' Phoebe saw a little girl standing in front of her.

"You." Her dreams. "I was you. I was seeing your memories."

The little girl nodded.

'It was evil that killed my family.' The little girl says with tears streaming down her face. 'They wouldn't spare her, even after I made my deal.'

''Your mom?"

'My daughter.' The little girl turns into the woman who was burned at the stake. 'Evil took her away, just as they took away your first love.'

''Cole." Phoebe shook her head. "But. I don't love him. Not anymore." She felt guilty missing him, she didn't know why.

'But he represented what you lost.'

''Yeah." She felt like she lost part of herself. Only then did Phoebe realize they were surrounded by fire. "The flames." She started sweating.

'They won't hurt you, not unless you give in to your fear. Let your pain go.'

"I know." She knew Cole wanted her to be happy. "What about you?" The flames weren't burning them, but surrounding them in a protective circle. She looked down at the ghost touching her belly.

'My daughter. Your daughter.'

"A girl, I'm having a girl?" Phoebe couldn't help but start crying. "Sorry. Pregnancy hormones." She sniffed.

'Protect her, she's afraid of losing you, just as mine did.'

"I will." She smiled sadly at the woman. "She's waiting for you."

'I know. She's with her family.' She took her hand away. 'The Old Ones. Stop him.'

''Magistrate Holland." He burned an innocent woman and her child for a spell. "How can I find him."

'I don't know.' The woman shook her head. 'I only stuck around to warn someone.' She waited for centuries for an empath. 'You must stop him. Before he completes his spell. Your friend, he was part of the sacrifice.'

"Don't you worry. We'll kill the bastard. The Old Ones. They can rot in their cells. For eternity." She couldn't save Cole, but she could avenge his death.

Phoebe woke up to see the light leaving her body.

"Rest. Holland, he never dealt with the Power of Three before. Go see your baby. I'm sure she and your family are waiting for their guest of honour to come Home." She teared up seeing the wisp exploding in sparkles.

Phoebe held her belly feeling a teeny, tiny, kick.

"Prudence Joanna. I know. I'm hungry too." She rubbed her belly. Hearing a knock, she knew it was Kyra waking her up for breakfast. "We have a long drive to Arizona, but once we're done there, I'm insisting we fly back home." She gets up.

"A will o' the wisp." Kyra couldn't believe it. "I can't believe it stuck around for so long." She knew what a wisp was, it was a fragment of a lost soul.

"It was her fear that kept her around. She needed to warn someone. Although I don't know where this 'Holland' is. Or even if he's still alive." Phoebe remembered his face, the evil magic he used changed his aura for the worse. His true face, she shuddered at the memory. "You have any idea where I could find him?" She knew Kyra had contacts.

"Hmm." She used to spend time in the Underworld, and as an ex-seer, she often was asked for advice.

"I heard stories from the staff back at Knox that the old Headmaster, Montgomery Knox made a soul deal to open his school."

"Huh? With an angel?"

"No. Unlike your family's hospital and Magic School, Montgomery wanted a more neutral option. He hated how he was stuck between worlds, he was part witch part warlock. He didn't like how innocent monsters and magical children were getting hunted by hunters. So he decided to open a school."

"How? Was he rich?" They were now on the road, she told Kyra she still wanted to head to Arizona to write her book.

"As far as I can tell, no. But he was a powerful witch/warlock. He could create anything that he wanted. But he couldn't do it alone. He went to find someone. A sorcerer to train him in everything he knows."

"How could a human make a deal? I always thought angels and demons had that ability." Phoebe shuddered at the thought. The wisp she was talking to, her deal didn't save her or her daughter. As for her two friends, Phoebe assumed they were either hanged or bribed an official to escape.

"A soul agreement is different. You keep your soul, but; you put your life on the line. Bottom line, you break it, you drop dead."

"Oh. So what happened to Montgomery?" The woman in her dream. She purposely burned to stick around to warn someone about the Old Ones. What she didn't expect was to hold on to her pain.

"I checked the old records once I took over Knox, Montgomery, he didn't want to lose his dream but also didn't want to be tied to his mentor. So he made another deal, this time with an angel."

"Did it work?" Phoebe was listening, but she was also mentally writing her book.

"I guess so. Knox is standing today, whoever that angel was, she or he made sure he fulfilled his dream." Kyra made sure her students were kept safe. "If this Holland guy is still around, let me know, I'll gladly fight him alongside you."

"I gotta call my sisters." Phoebe took out her phone. "Paige? Can you meet me in Arizona when you get up? I'm calling Piper next." She also called her husband. "Coop, can you do me a favour, ask your cupid buddies about a sorcerer named Holland. I'll fill you in later. Thanks." She kisses her phone. "We'll vanquish his ass, that way no one will be sacrificed ever again."

"Or to bring back the Old Ones. Whatever those are." Kyra's time in Hell and the Underworld never showed her anything. "Just don't throw yourself in danger, your baby, she needs her mom."

"How do you know I'm having a girl?" Phoebe knew, even before her dream.

"I just know. Besides, I'm a seer remember? Plus we have a telescope of our own. Bella, it would be a nice name." Kyra was glad Charisma was happy at least.

"I rather have her have her own name." Prudence Joanna, PJ, she hoped Devon John and her didn't get mixed up. She looked out the window, the clouds were high up in the sky. "I hope you and your family are happy now." She whispered. She sacrificed her daughter as well to save the future. Phoebe hoped she didn't have to make that choice.

"You say something?"

"What should I name my book?" She knew exactly what to write, she just needed a name.

"Finding Love? Starting Over? Loss Isn't Forever?" Kyra suggested.

"Finding Love. Hmm." She thought about Cole, her youth. Then meeting Coop, her soulmate. "Perfect." She thought about what her summary should be. "Trust. Trusting myself."

"Sounds like a best seller."

"I'll send you an autographed copy as soon as it's published." She leaned back to take a nap.

"Mommy! Mommy!" A little girl runs into a woman's arms.

"Hi Ladybug, you have a good day at school?"

Phoebe smiles at the scene. She was so adorable.

"Yeah. DJ told the mean kids to leave me and Mel alone."

"DJ?" When the woman turned around, Phoebe couldn't believe it.

Future Phoebe smiles at her.

"Go see Laura. I'll be right there."

"Okay." She runs to a blonde girl talking to her friends.

"She's beautiful."

"I know." FPhoebe looks lovingly in her direction. "Her cousins, they are so overprotective of her."

Instantly the scene changed, the school wasn't there anymore. The bright light, it was now dark.

"Where are we?" Phoebe shivered at the cold air. She saw her future self now wearing body armour.

"Doesn't matter, it's the same everywhere." Her future self teared up. "The Old Ones. They did this."

"The Old Ones?" She saw a young woman with a hardened expression holding a gun.

"PJ, she fights hard every day. Especially after I died." FPhoebe was now a wispy version of herself. "You must stop him."

"I will. But how do I kill the Old Ones?" Phoebe squints at a tall woman walking towards who she assumed was Laura.

"I don't know. But PJ, she needs her mom." Phoebe saw adult PJ staring sadly in their direction. "Go. Save the future."

Phoebe woke up with a gasp.

"PJ." She holds her belly. "I swear I'll never leave you." Phoebe had no idea if that was a premonition or a nightmare, but she won't let it happen. She debated on continuing on to Arizona but remembered why she was writing her book. "Because once you find the strength in yourself, you will be ready to find your love and make it greater. Trust."

She closed her eyes and saw the fire. Instead of burning her, they protected her.

"Is that my new powers, or yours?" She caressed her bump. "Guess I'll find out in a few years." She saw a sign, that their destination wasn't that far off. She texted Paige to pick up Piper.

'Don't forget the sandwiches, especially the alcohol.'

'You're pregnant. You can't drink.'

'But Piper does. Make sure to get beer.'

'Got it. Luckily I'm off tomorrow.'

'Don't forget the Book.'

'Already have it. This Holland is getting his ass vanquished.'

'See u soon.'

Phoebe wasn't a hunter, but she was a witch. She mentally wrote a spell to vanquish an evil sorcerer.

"To Stop an Ancient Evil

Make Him Our Equal

So That His Fate Becomes Lethal."

Phoebe knew the fight would be risky, if not dangerous, as he was tied to the demon he made his bargain with. So she wrote another spell.

"There!" His Soul Agreement was tied to his partner. If one dies, so does his partner. Phoebe wakes up Kyra, they were pulling up to the resort.

"Are we here? About time." Kyra yawned. "I had this dream, you were talking to yourself."

"Really. Do you drink beer? I ordered a case to relax with my sisters. We're going to eat and drink before we vanquish a sorcerer."

"I'll help. With your empath powers and my psychic abilities, he can't hide anywhere." Kyra was getting bored.

Before they walked into the building, Phoebe saw a small light fluttering by.

"Everything will be alright." She smiled as the will o'wisp faded away. "Goodbye Cole." She was finally ready to move on.

Patience was glaring at the person standing in front of her.

"I cannot promise anything. I may be a witch, but I'm not for hire."

"You're the only one that can help. I can pay." Kareem's powers were incredibly rare, he was the only witch that used sound emissions to defeat his enemies. Patience hired him only because he was invisible to evil.

"I don't work for cash. Give me a better offer."

"That's enough Kareem." Sarah scolded her cousin as she walked into the room. "Forgive him, he has always been a little greedy." She gave the young man a dirty look.

"Fine. But only if you protect Sarah." Sarah was older, but she was the only family Kareem had.

"I swear." Sarah just came in her powers, she assumed whoever bound hers, must've lost their life. "I need to find a hybrid, a young man about your age."

"A half-human, monster, nephilim, cambion?" He wasn't just a witch, he worked part-time as a recruiter for lost witches, and as a bounty hunter for wandering monsters.

"Mattie. He doesn't have an official name." Patience had no idea what breed he was.

"Mattie huh. What the hell." He picks up a piece of paper and writes down something. "Is this fair?"

Patience grimaces at the price.

"Sure."

Once Kareem left, Patience sat down on her chair and sighed.

"I'm only doing this to protect the Charmed Ones. Once that's done, I'm retiring." She gets up to greet the customers who walk in the door. "Welcome to Salem Witch House!" She gave a silent prayer to her fellow witches to stay safe.
