Danny sighs as he lays in the bed with Lucifer sitting in the chair next to him. He was completely lost on what to do. How was he going to explain this to everyone? The door opens and Danny saw her friends rush in.
"DANNY!"
He grunts as Sam and Tucker jump on him, knocking the breath out of him a bit.
"Easy, guys. I'm still a bit sore." Danny said.
"Dude, you had us worried for four days!" Tucker said.
"Yeah, Jazz told us what happen and we've been waiting for you to wake up," Sam added.
"Well..." Danny started before his parents walked in.
"Danny!" Maddie said, carefully hugging her boy.
"Glad to see you're alright. How are you feeling, Kiddo?" Jack asked.
"Like nothing happened." Danny sighs, noticing Lucifer's eye twitching.
"What I want to know is what were you doing inside the portal." Maddie glare.
"AHEM!"
Everyone turns and notices Lucifer looking quite annoyed. She stood up and glared at them.
"I would like to explain what happen if you would listen." She said.
"Danny? Who's this?" Sam asked, confused.
"I like her suit," Tucker said, smirking.
"Don't bother, Tuck. She turn you down before you could ask. Even if you got her name." Danny sighs.
"Anyways!" Lucifer groans before facing them.
"Mr. and Mrs. Fentons. I'm sorry to say that your portal didn't connect to the Ghost Zone like you hoped. Instead, you connected to something else. Hell." She said, surprising everyone.
"Your portal opened right on top of me, and force my powers to split into eight parts. I had to share my last bit of power with your son to keep him alive. And I need him to find my missing powers." She said.
Everyone blinks and Danny sighs.
"She's telling the truth," Danny said, making them look at him.
"Mom, Dad, you opened a portal to Hell. I wasn't there, but I did meet her. She told me what happened, and I agree to help before finding out who she was." He said.
"Who she was?" Sam asked.
"Time for the moment of truth," Lucifer said, standing up.
"My name is Lucifer. Yes, that Lucifer. I'm the Queen and CEO of Hell." She said, smirking as her eyes glowed red.
"Wait, queen?!" Sam asked.
"I'm well aware of what you humans think of me, but those are just stories I made up. This is my true form." Lucifer said.
Everyone blinks before Danny sighs.
"This going to take some getting use to." He said.
Lucifer rolled her eyes before stepping closer to Danny.
"It's also because of me that your son is still alive. Once I recovered all of my powers, I'll take back the last part and free him from our deal." She told them.
Sam turns to Danny, who sighs.
"I know what you're thinking, but I already agreed to it as I said before." He told her.
"Danny..." Sam started.
However, she was cut off when the Doctor walked in.
"Sorry, people, but visiting hours are coming to a close. Mr. and Mrs. Fenton, your son is clear to be taken out tomorrow." He said, not seeing Lucifer.
"Um, yes, thank you, doctor," Maddie said.
The doctor nodded and left the room.
"Well, I guess we have a lot to think about," Jack said.
"Yes, and we have to talk about that ON button, mister!" Maddie said, glaring at her husband.
Jack flinch as Lucifer looked confused.
"Um, we sort of figured out that the ON button was placed inside the portal when I accidentally turn on," Danny said, nervously.
Lucifer looks at him in shock before shaking her head. She can deal with that later. Though, Danny could see her eye twitching.
"Well, we better get going," Sam said, thinking on how she could keep Lucifer away from Danny.
"I'm afraid I can't leave. Not in the same way you all can." Lucifer spoke up.
"What do you mean?" Tucker asked.
"Due to my weakened power, I can't be too far from him or my leftover power could hurt him more. Once I recover enough of my powers, then I can be away from him for long periods of time. And before anyone worries, yes I can remain far away from him to give him his privacy in the bathroom." Lucifer said.
"Then how can you stay in the hospital?" Tucker asked.
Lucifer looked at him like he ask a stupid question.
"I'm the Devil. I have my ways. Now, go home. He'll still be here when you return." She said, sitting back in the chair.
Though none of them liked it, they had no other choice. If they stay any longer then they would get in trouble with the staff. The Fenton's said their goodbyes to Danny for now as Tucker had to drag Sam out of the room. Danny sighs and faces Lucifer.
"So how are you going to hide from the Nurses and Doctors?" Danny asked.
"Don't worry about it. Just rest for now." She said, waving him off.
Danny sighs and lays back. He really had no idea how he got involved in this. But Lucifer did speak up.
"What were you doing in the Portal anyways?" She asked.
"Um, I heard this voice telling me to come closer, and the next thing I knew, my name was being called, and I was inside the portal," Danny told her.
"A voice?" Lucifer asked.
"It wasn't you?" Danny asked back.
Lucifer rubs her finger on her chin, thinking. Who called him inside the portal? She shook her head. Right now, she just wants to get her power back.
"Never mind. We have a lot of searching to do tomorrow. Get plenty of rest, because we're going to search the whole town." She said.
Danny sighs and looks at the ceiling. Something told him that tomorrow was going to be a long day.
Elsewhere,
A red glow shined from behind a box, catching the eye of a person walking past. They turn around and moved the box. They notice a red crystal ball that looks to hold a flame inside. They reach over and grab it before a voice was heard.
"I can give you power. Make you the most powerful person in the world. Do we have a deal?"
The person smirks and held the crystal close to them, their eyes glowing red.
The next day,
Danny awoke the next day and notices Lucifer was gone. He did recall what she said yesterday and had a feeling she was still close by. He heard the sound of the toilet flushing and turns to see Lucifer walking out of the bathroom.
"Augh! My throne was much more comfortable than the chair they had." She said, noticing Danny was awake.
"Ah, good. You're up. The bathroom is all yours." She said, moving aside.
"Um?" Danny said, confused.
"What? Never heard of the devil using a bathroom before?" She asked, sitting in the chair.
Danny sighs and carefully climbs out of the bed. He walks toward the bathroom and took care of his business. Lucifer herself turn to the window and started to think to her herself.
'I can't believe I have to rely on a human to get my powers back! However, I'm a bit surprised on this one. From what he told the others last night. even though he knows who I am, he still wants to help me. Why is that? Hmm. Whatever the reason is, once I get my powers back, I return to Hell and continue my plans. As long as the human helps me, that's all that matters.'
She heard the door open and spots the other humans she saw yesterday. She notices the black-hair girl looking around and quickly spoke.
"He's using the bathroom. Give him a few minutes." Lucifer said.
"You're still here?" Sam asked.
"As I said, we are bonded to each other now. I can remain far away enough for him to take care of his bathroom business, just because I'm the devil, doesn't mean I don't understand privacy." Lucifer said.
"So, how did you hide from the Doctors and Nurses?" Tucker said, shivering.
"I'm the devil. I just let myself fade away when they came in and come back when they leave." Lucifer said.
The bathroom door opens and Danny steps out, seeing his friends and family.
"Um, hey, everyone." He said, walking up to them.
"Did she do anything to you?" Sam asked before anyone could speak up.
"I'm fine, Sam. If anything, I think all she did was sit in that chair all night." Dany said.
"Unlike you humans, I don't need to sleep. However, I am feeling a bit hungry." Lucifer said.
"You can eat?" Jack asked.
"Of course, it not easy to rule Hell over an empty stomach," Lucifer said.
"I understand that," Tucker said.
"Well, let's get Danny signed out and take him home. And since you're bonded to our son, we might as well invite you as well, Ms. Lucifer." Maddie said.
"Please, no need for the Ms. Just call me Lucifer," Lucifer told her.
Later,
After sighing Danny out of the hospital, and Lucifer letting herself fade away, Danny was taken back home, where his mother started making breakfast.
"So, this is your house?" Lucifer said when she appeared.
"Yeah, it's not much, but we still have a roof over our heads," Danny said.
Lucifer looks around before shrugging.
"A lot more space than my officer, but even I'm not that picky." She said, sitting down on the couch.
Danny sighs. He sat down and looks at Lucifer.
"So, how are we going to find your powers? We need a plan, you know." He asked.
Lucifer looks at him and started to think again. She was going over that last night. She can still sense her powers, but because it was so faint, she couldn't pinpoint where they were at.
"The best thing we can do is walk around town until I can pinpoint where they're at." She said, sighing.
"I'm guessing once you find enough, you'll be able to pinpoint them with ease?" Danny asked.
"Yes, at least, I hope so," Lucifer said.
"Well, for one thing, you can't go around looking like that," Danny told her.
"Excuse me?!" Lucifer said, glaring at him.
"Hear me out. I'm sure you already know, but not everyone believes the Devil is real. And I think it would be better if you keep a low profile. I mean you can't keep fading and reappearing all the time. It has to be draining for you to do that with the amount of power you have left." Danny explain.
Lucifer sighs. He was right. It was draining for her to shift between the two plains she could hide. Once she recovers her powers then she'll have an easier time doing so.
"Very well." She said, closing her eyes.
Danny watched as her horns and tail disappeared and her suit was changed into a white t-shirt and black jeans. Her heels became normal shoes and her headband disappeared. He also notices that the pin that was on her suit appears on her shirt as a symbol.
"Augh, this is the best I can do until I get more of my powers back." She said.
"You made yourself human?" Danny asked.
"Don't you remember the stories? I can disguise myself to look like other people. With my weakened power, I can only change my suit. If I had more of my power I can change my hair and eyes." Lucifer said.
Danny nods before his mother peeks out of the kitchen.
"Breakfast is ready. I hope you don't mind if I made some pancakes." She said.
Danny saw Lucifer freeze at that word before giving a wide smile. Before he could say anything, Lucifer stood up, looking excited.
"Well, Can't look for my powers on an empty stomach! Got any chocolate syrup?" She said, walking towards the kitchen.
Danny blinks before following her. He notices his mom's confused look and shrugs.
"I think it better to just label it off as a Devil thing." He said, getting the feeling that Lucifer was going to confuse everyone a lot during her stay.
Alright, stopping here. Well, Danny is fully recovered and Lucifer made herself look human. However, someone already found a piece of Lucifer's power. Who is it? I'll tell you next time. One last thing, since this is a complete redo of Danny Phantom, Sam doesn't understand her feelings towards Danny are more than a friend. So unlike the other times, she trying to keep Lucifer away to make sure she doesn't corrupt him.

If you read some of my other stories, I mention I'm stuck using the Free Option because I can't pay for the Premium. And I was told it wasn't any better.
