School ended and Lilith saw her adopted parents waiting for her. She smiles before running up to them. She hugs them both, surprising Lucifer.
"Did you have a good time at school?" Danny asked her.
"Yes, daddy. I even made a new friend!" Lilith told them.
"Really? Way to go." Danny said, smiling.
He then surprised Lilith by picking her up kissed her cheek.
"How about we go somewhere to celebrate?" Danny asked.
"Sure!" Lilith smiles before trying to Lucifer.
"Is that okay, mommy?" She asked.
Lucifer was a bit surprised. And yet, it didn't bother her.
"Sure. Not sure if there are any kid restaurants around." She said, thinking.
"Well, the Nasty Burger is also the top choice, but I have a feeling that everyone might get the wrong idea," Danny said.
"Where do you want to go?" Lucifer asked Lilith.
"Um, I'm not dreaming, am I?" Lilith asked, seeing how friendly they were.
"What does your demon side tell you?" Lucifer asked.
"Trust me, Lilith. If you were, I would be right next to you." She said.
"Okay. I'm awake, but why are you two so nice?" Lilith asked.
"Let's just say that your father proved himself," Lucifer smirks, still thinking about their kisses.
'His lips were so tasty! I hope he's ready for more in the future.' She thought, smirking.
"Well, I don't mind eating at the Nasty Burger," Lilith said.
"Are you sure?" Danny asked.
"Yeah. Plus, I'm adopted." Lilith said, cheekly.
"Alright," Danny said, shaking his head.
"Augh, what a bunch of weirdos."
The adopted family turns and sees Min walking up to them. Lilith rolled her eyes, remembering everything that girl tried to do during school hours.
"What do you want, Min?" Lilith asked, bored.
"PRINCESS Min!" The girl yelled.
"Princess?" Lucifer asked, feeling the young girl's pride.
"That's right! You better bow to me you lowly present." Min said, making Lucifer glare at her.
"I bow to no one. And it's lowly peasant." Lucifer told her.
"Don't bother, Mommy. She's just nothing but a bully." Lilith said.
"What, this old hag is your mother?" Min asked, ticking off Lucifer.
"OLD HAG?!" She screams, holding herself back from attacking the little girl.
"And who's this weirdo?" Min asked, pointing to Danny.
"My daddy. And he's not a weirdo." Lilith said.
"What? Where do you find them? From a trash can?" Min asked.
"That's enough!" Lucifer said, growling.
"Shut it, you old hag," Min said.
"First and foremost, Lucy isn't an old hag. Second, even if your parents accept this kind of behavior, you have no right to speak to us that way." Danny spoke up.
"Zip it!" Min said.
"Yep, just like Paulina," Danny said, shaking his head.
"Shall we get going?" Lilith asked, making her adoptive parents look at her.
"Heh, she sounded like you, Lucy." Danny laughs.
"That's my little demon." Lucifer smiles, riffing her hair.
With that, the three walked away from the shocked girl, who started yelling at them.
"What a brat," Lucifer said, growling.
Yes, she was centuries old, but that didn't give the girl the right to call her an old hag.
"Tell me about it." Danny sighs.
"What if she finds one of Mommy's powers?" Lilith asked.
"As if my powers would help her!" Lucifer said.
"Believe it or not, I do have standards! If that girl thinks my power would make her better than everyone, then she better be prepared for the backlash." She added.
Danny sighs, having also disliked that girl. Lilith hopped from his arms before grabbing Lucifer's hand, making the devil look at her.
"She tried to say that Mommy was a slut that didn't care about me. And daddy was a loser that was a dumbass that didn't care about me." Lilith said, shocking the two.
"Um, Lilith? Language?" Danny said, reminding her that she was six years old.
"Sorry. But that's what my demon form heard." Lilith said.
Lucifer looked at their hands, still trying to understand what was happening. However, she did know that it felt...nice. She closes her hand around Lilith's, surprising her.
"Shall we go?" Lucifer asked, smiling.
Lilith smiles before nodding. She then held out her other hand, making Danny take it. Lucifer couldn't shake that this felt nice as the three walked towards the Nasty Burger. Really nice.
'Maybe having a family isn't so bad.' She thought.
A red glow appeared from the portal before two hands grabbed the doors and pulled them apart. A demon steps through, looking around.
"So, this is where you have been?" She said.
"Don't think I've forgotten what you have done to me, Lucifer." She added, growling.
She was soon joined by some imps, many looking ready to cause trouble.
"Find her. Kill her. And bring me her power." She told them, making them rush off.
The Demon stood in the lab, growling to herself.
"I will have the throne." She said.
Danny and Lucifer got lucky when no one asked them about Lilith. Danny wasn't sure if he wanted to tell anyone that he adopted, A.K.A. kidnapped/recused, a girl. at the age of 14. Danny was trying his best to be a father, but this whole thing is new to him.
"So, any luck with finding more of your powers?" Danny asked as he took a slip of drink.
"Even with two of my pieces back, I still can pick them up. Maybe if I had yours and Lilith's pieces, I could sense them." Lucifer said, sighing.
That made Danny remember something he heard from his friends. Something about Lucifer not telling him.
"Lucifer, why did you give me a piece of your power? Tucker and Sam told me that Michael said you were not telling the truth." Danny asked her.
Lucifer blinks before she starts to think. She knew Michael was right. While she gave Danny a piece of her power, it was for a different reason. She may have said it was to make sure Danny works for her, but with how much he's helped her and the kindness she was shown made her think that maybe Danny had the right to know.
"Very well. There is another reason I gave you my power." She said, surprising him.
"Really?" Danny asked, confused.
"Yes, you see..."
Before Lucifer could continue, she was shocked when the window next to them broke and she saw an imp.
"Qegh!" It said, pointing a spear at her.
"Imps?! Here?!" Lucifer said, shocked.
"Qegh!" It said, again.
However, Lucifer smacks it away. But she was then shocked again when she saw more imps charging at them.
"Please tell me your father didn't leave the portal open?" Lucifer asked.
"No, Mom made sure it was locked down," Danny said, surprised to see the imps.
Everyone started to run as the imps entered the Nasty Burger. Lucifer jumps to her feet, changing back into her devil look. Danny and Lilith looked at each other before nodding. They turned into their demon forms and stood next to Lucifer.
"Augh. I'm still getting a headache when my horns burst out of my head." Danny said, rubbing it.
"You think that's bad? I have to deal with the pain my tail causes me! And I'm only six years old!" Lilith said.
"You can focus on your pain later! We need to stop these imps!" Lucifer said before growling to herself.
'These are HER imps. When will she stop?!' She thought, seeing some imps charging at the Demon Family.
Okay, cliffhanger this time. So, Danny and Lucifer picked up Lilith from school and had a run-in with Min. Both of them didn't like her. However, the three seem to be like a real family. Even eating out. However, it seems that a demon has entered through the portal and has her sights on Lucifer. She has sent her Imp minions after her, not knowing that Lucifer has helped this time.
And I just wish to remind everyone, and myself, of the idea of Lucifer's spit power. Now, I stated that spit into eight pieces, with Dash, Paulina, and Lilith finding one piece each. Now, Danny doesn't fully count. He was given a piece by Lucifer. And Tucker and Sam will find a piece as well. Now, some of you might guess that Sam would fall for the deal it gives her and with how she's acting, you'll be right. Tucker will be tricked much like Dash and Paulina. That brings up five pieces so far.
And here's where you all come in. What should Tucker's and Sam's demon forms look like? I know I was given ideas before, but that was before I explained what the orbs did to a person. So, the orbs bring out what the person truly is inside, but twisted. Since the next chapter will cover the fight with the Devilman-Fenton family and the imps and the demon that's after Lucifer, you all have some time before we go back to that idea.
