Obito yawned as he sat next to a tree. "Man, where's sensei at." The other two just looked at him in amazement as they entered the training grounds. "When did you get here!" Kakashi asked as Rin just stared at her friend. Obito thought for a moment as he tried to figure out the answer to the question. "Like 10 minutes ago I think, why?"
Both genin looked mortified as they looked at their teammate. "How?" Rin asked. Obito was very confused as he sat up. "What are you talking about?"
"How are you here before anyone else? You're never on time." Kakashi said as Rin only nodded. Obito shrugged. "Sensei said he was bringing a surprise. I'm not gonna miss that." The two didn't know what to say as they just started at Obito. "Oh look, sensei's here." Obito said as he ran to Minato, who had just arrived, the others following.
Minato smiled at his students as he held a bundle in his arms, bracing it against his chest and shoulder. The kids were curious as Obito spoke up. "Hey sensei, what's that?" Minato's smile grew as he sat on the ground, his students gathered around him as they tried to get a better look. Minato removed some of the blankets as he revealed a sleeping Naru.
Rin squealed at seeing the toddler as Obito gasped at the same time. Kakashi's eyes widened, though he didn't make a sound. Minato chuckled at his students' reaction to Naru. "You like her?" He asked.
"She's soooo cute." Rin exclaimed as the boys nodded.
"Thank you Rin. She's my daughter, Naruko Uzumaki." The kids continued to marvel at the child as Kakashi looked at his teacher confused. "Uzumaki? I thought your name was Namikaze?"
Minato had a little laugh at that. "I am, but she's named after my girlfriend." This only confused the rest of the kids as they looked to their master. "Wait, I thought you said she was your daughter. What do you mean she's named after your girlfriend sensei?" Obito asked.
"Well, it's a little complicated, but to keep it simple, me and my girlfriend are very close and we may get married in the next couple of years. We'll, I hope anyway." He had a small chuckle at that. "But when we had Naru we decided that she'd have her family name.
The kids understood, even if it was a little strange to them, as they continued to stare at the girl who still stayed asleep in her father's arms. With that however, Minato didn't tell the kids the special circumstances around Naru, seeing it as something only a select few needed to know.
Deciding they'd sat around long enough, Minato stood up as the kids looked a little sad. "You guys can see her more after training. Speaking of which." Minato brought out a kunai as he spun it in his free hand. "For today we're gonna work on your stealth. Your job is to have one of you touch Naru. You can do this in any way as long as she isn't hurt and she isn't woken up. This will continue until she either wakes up or you can successfully land a finger on her. But be
warned, I won't make it easy." The kids nodded as Minato threw the kunai into the air. The second it landed the kids disappeared as Minato stayed in place with Naru.

The kids went away from their sensei as they tried to come up with a plan. Or at least They tried. Obito and Rin huddled as they brainstormed some ideas, only to hear something going on in the clearing. Looking from their hiding space they saw Kakashi attack Minato, only to be sent flying in the process. "Sensei wasn't kidding was he?" Rin asked as Obito only nodded. They all knew that Kakashi was the best of them and yet Minato wasn't even being gentle as he flung him towards them.
The two ducked as Kakashi hit a tree, knocking the wind out of him. "You ok?" Obito asked the masked boy.
"No, I wanted tea with my order." Kakashi stated, his eyes swirling. The two were amazed at seeing their teammate in this position as they looked to their sensei, who was patting Naru on the back. They didn't hear any crying so she most likely hadn't woken up. They were relieved as that meant they hadn't failed yet. "OK so it looks like we'll have to work together this time." Obito remarked as Kakashi got up, a little dazed but good enough to glare at the goggled boy. "And what do you have in mind?"
Obito thought but couldn't come up with anything as Rin perked up. "Hey, I got an idea." The two boys were open ears as she explained her plan. They wondered if that would work but seeing as they both had nothing at the moment they agreed to it.

Minato stood in the middle of the training ground with a still asleep Naru. Kakashi's attempt didn't go too well and had even nearly got the kids to lose as Naru had started to whine a little but Minato was able to settle her down. He was glad she seemed to like sleeping in and as long as she had her pacifier she'd probably stay out cold for a few hours. Though he wasn't exactly sure since she always likes to wake up when she wants to, much to his and Kushina's dismay.
A branch breaking in the distance got his attention. He expected they wanted him to look in that direction and being the kind man he was, he obliged. This led to him kicking Obito when he came in loudly from behind. He expected better from them as he jumped over Rin and Kakashi, landing without making a sound as the kids continued to charge at him. Yet for whatever reason they weren't trying to touch Naru, instead they just charged at him.
He looked for anything to explain this but nothing looked out of the ordinary. That was until he felt something thin around his ankle. Looking closely he noticed a slight shine from ninja wire around his legs as he realized just too late what they did. The kids pulled as the ninja wire tightened around his legs, causing him to trip. As he fell he shielded Naru from hitting the ground, orienting his back to hit the ground while having her on top of him. This was proven to be a bad idea as Kakashi was above him, reaching for her. Minato was shocked at seeing them come up with such a plan as hurdled towards the ground while Kakashi was mer inches from touching Naru. If he was anyone else he may have been beaten. Unfortunately.
Minato disappeared as Kakashi hit the ground with a thud. The others were disappointed as Minato appeared in a tree a few meters away. "Good try. Almost had me there." He said to his students who slumped at not succeeding. That is until Kakashi realized he had something in his hand. Opening it he realized he had a pink pacifier, a small amount of slobber still on it. The boy was disgusted at how gross it was, until he realized something. "Hey Sensei! Isn't this Naruko's?"
Minato stared at the pink object in the boy's hand for a moment. In the amount of time it took all of them to realize that it was indeed Naru's, was also the amount of time it took for Naru to realize what was missing. Within mere moments the entire training ground was filled with the cries of a very cranky toddler as Naru wailed at no longer having her pacifier.
"Oh no! Um Kakashi, I'm gonna need that please!" Minato called out to the boy as he tried to calm the toddler, who clearly wasn't having it. Kakashi obliged as he handed the pacifier to his sensei who gave it back to Naru. Naru promptly put it back where it belonged as she looked at Kakashi with the 1 year old equivalent of a pissed off look. Minato chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head. "Well, looks like you guys lost this time." The three were disappointed as they sat on the ground in a huff. Minato rolled his eyes with an amused smile as he looked at Naru, who just looked at the kids with a now confused look.
"Well." He started as he sat down. "I guess you guys can finally meet her now." The kids seemed far more excited at that as they gathered around to see the little girl. Naru continued to stare at them as she tilted her head to look at Minato who smiled. "Say hi." He asked while waving to the kids. The little girl looked at his hand and mimicked him. "Bi."
The others chuckled as Minato rubbed her hair. "No, not bye. Hi." The girl just gave him a confused look as he sighed. "We'll work on it."
