F3: Welcome to chapter 7 of my RWBY. Last time we caught up with Yang and co. leaving the bandit tribe behind and are heading to Higanbana while Weiss and co. are steadily reaching Argus. Though what about Star and her friends? RWBY is property of Rooster Teeth. With that said Let's Dive In.
Volume 5-7: Depravity.
Javi had returned to his home in the Upper Cliffs as he walked inside his mansion his guards greeting him when he arrived. Also waiting for him is his bulter as Javi handed the man his jacket.
"Welcome home sir. I do hope that today was rather progressive for you." The bulter stated as he walked next to Javi.
"Hardly the case. Opal is a stubborn woman. I was simply offering a chance to retire and never having to run that filthy tavern ever again but alas that woman turned me down yet again. Quite frankly I'm starting to get rather annoyed." Javi said as they walked noticing several maids around his mansion taking care of the cleaning and other things as well.
"Has anything else happened while I was out?" Javi asked.
"Oh yes. Miss Pyre called you about a shipment of dust and weapons that need looked over." The butler stated.
"I see. It's probably best that I contact her immediately and see what she wants." He replied.
"If you like I can bring a cup of tea for you in the study room." The butler stated.
"Thank you." Javi replied as he walked toward the study room which had a large wooden desk with a phone on top of it.
He went behind the desk and sat in his seat before picking up the phone and dialing a number.
After a few seconds the connection went through.
"It's about time you called. I've been waiting." A females voice said.
"My apologies Abigail. I was busy with something in town." Javi replied.
"Let me guess. Opal won't come off the tavern right. I told you I should have taken care of it." Abigail stated.
"I'm trying to handle this in a more peaceful way than killing her. She is well respected in the community and simply killing her will raise an uproar. Now I believe you have something to tell me correct." Javi added.
"Yes. I've gathered dust and weapons that need to be sent out to the others in the Wind Valley. If this isn't handled than we're the ones in big trouble." Abigail stated.
"I understand. However it seems that their is another matter that needs to be dealt with." Javi replied.
"And what is that? Don't tell me you messed up again." She said.
"No. It would appear that we have some outsiders that arrived last night. Though there is one that would bring some interest. I'm having one of my men are gathering some information right now." He stated.
"Let me guess. You want Team SMMK on standby." Abigail stated.
"Yes. Aside from that I'll work on a transport and have the weapons and dust transported out toward Wind Valley. Until then." He stated before disconnecting with Abigail.
Just at that time one of his men came in with some files in his hand.
"Sir here's the information that you've wanted. Turns out you were correct." He stated handed Javi the papers.
He looked at the papers seeing a name that stuck out. He noticed the name Velvet Scarletina on the page and began reading it.
"Hm... says here that she was a second year at Beacon Academy. Semblance: Recall. Can copy a persons combat abilities in battle. Says here her weapon is a some sort of camera that can project hard light dust weapons of whatever her camera take a picture." He said.
"So what do you think sir?" His servant asked.
"I believe she could be very usefully for us. Contact Sil and his team I have job for them and take her to Abigail. Tell her to work her magic on her." Javi replied.
"At once sir." The servant stated as he left the study room. Javi only seemed to grin at himself for what plan he has cooked up.
=SPIR=
Meanwhile with Star and her team they were back at Arrastra trying to go over a game plan to inflitrate the warehouse as they were looking over the map of the place.
"Okay from a viewers standpoint... Opal wasn't kidding that this place is huge." Star said looking over the layout that May and Cardin provided.
"Yeah. Almost every part of the place is secured all expect for one spot that'll give us access." Cardin said pointing out the spot.
"Theirs a gap right here on the west side. Even if we were to get in there about fifty men with automatic weapons and with only that point of entry we'll have to sneak past the guards in order to get to this point here." May added pointing toward the back of the warehouse.
"There's only five men their and we believe that's probably where Abigail and whatever else is there too." May replied.
"If we can blow up that part of the warehouse it would render Abigail and the supplies useless." Cardin said.
"Yeah but just one problem guys. Apparently from what we got from the headmaster he said that their is a radio tower that they use to transmit information to each other. We can't make a move until that radio tower is out of commission." Star replied.
"You got a point. Though where is it anyway?" Cardin asked.
"It's somewhere in the Upper Cliffs. More than likely near Pastels Mansions. It's nearly impossible to reach unless you have an airship or something." Arrastra said. However that made Star think a moment as a thought came to her head.
"Could I use my maiden powers to get up their? I don't even know if I can fly with them." She thought.
"I'm sure we'll come up with something." Velvet said.
"For now how about you all get some rest for the morning? Don't want to be tired for what you all got to do in the morning." Arrastra said as they all headed toward their own separate rooms for the night. Velvet took to the bed and laid on the covers as she allowed sleep to take her.
Hours into the night Sil and his team stalked toward Arrastras house as they discussed how they should enter.
"So where do you think the bunny is?" Sil stated.
"Probably in one of the corner rooms." Marton stated check his club.
"We don't want to risk waking the others or we're all toast." Mina added firmly.
"Geez, relax a little babe. We got this in the bag." Khaki stated.
"Alright team... time to catch us a bunny." Sil smirked as they approached Arrastras house. First Sil triggered his semblance to darken the area around them but just enough so that they can see as they opened the door to enter the home. They stuck together to check each room making sure to find the correct one.
They first check the room close to the living room which where Cardin was sleeping as he rolled onto his side facing away from him. The next room across from him was Stars room as she was sleeping on her side as well but curled up into a ball with her tail wrapped around her.
The third room was Mays and Arrastras room as they had to share one bed which was big enough for the both of them though with May almost snuggling into Arrastras chest. That just left the last room ahead of them which more than likely where Velvet was sleeping.
They opened the door and much to their luck Velvet was their fully asleep without much care in the world seeing the raise and fall of her chest.
"Aw... she's so cute." Khaki whispered so that they don't wake her.
Sil gestured toward Marton who nodded as he brought at a small syringe and gave it to Sil.
"Just as a precaution." He said before quickly inserting the syringe into Velvets left shoulder. There was a small reaction but that was quickly dose as her body became limp from what they gave her. He then gave the syringe back to Marton.
"Alright. Khaki you pick her up then we're out of here." Sil replied quietly as Khaki lifted up the bunny girl and slung her over her shoulder as they made their way out of the house without anyone being the wiser.
Marton closed the door behind them as they left but not before he accidently dropped the syringe onto the bed without them even knowing. It wasn't long till they were out of the house and heading toward the Lower Valley where the Abigail was waiting. However they failed to notice that Yuuki was watching them from afar with a scowl on her face. She would have to tell Star and her group in the morning cause she wasn't going to risk going to the warehouse at night.
Velvet felt dizzy as everything wasn't what they were as her vision was rather fuzzy at best but it was slowly coming back.
"Ah finally awake I see." An older female voice said. Velvet looked up and saw the one person she wasn't expecting to see. It was an older woman that is in her late thirties but looks younger with long red hair and violet colored eyes. She wears a purple colored top with a black spiraling dragon on it, and a few buttons, with only one being together to reveal the center of her cleavage and her belly button. At the collar is a pink colored badge in the form of a lotus flower. Over it she wears a white jacket with purple cuffs and black lace lining with a white skirt with a dark red slit on the side and a black belt, sheer pantyhose with white, black, and purple leg warmers and a pair of white and black platform heels with an amethyst gem stones on the toe. Around her neck is a strange necklace with a blue gemstone in the middle.
Velvet realized who was in front of her giving her a glare.
"Abigail Pyre right." Velvet stated.
"Oh come now. No need to act like that. It's rather rude." Abigail said.
"Oh you haven't seen rude yet." Velvet added until she felt like she was tied to a chair and couldn't move, even her legs were bound.
"Easy now wouldn't want to hurt yourself." Abigail stated before grabbing some papers that were on the table. It revealed to be a profile on Velvet.
"Second year at Beacon Academy. Semblance can have you recall a person combat abilities. Your weapon allows to you copy a persons weapon when you take a picture. Quite an adaptable person you are." She added.
"Sorry but if I don't take that as a compliment." Velvet snarked back.
"Oh don't worry about getting complimented. That's the least of your worries. You are acutally going to be helping us." Abigail said.
"Like I'll be helping you! You guys bring in all kinds of trouble and it's really hurting this town. With all the weapons and other crap you bring. You think I'll help you than you got one twisted mind lady!" Velvet shouted.
"Who said it was going to be willingly." Abigail stated as she placed her hand on Velvets head making her squirm a little.
"Hey get you hand off me!" She shouted but the gem on the necklace began to glow.
Just as Velvet was struggling she suddenly found herself relaxing in her grip as her eyes dulled over.
"Perfect. Now I want you to listen to me very carefully little bunny. From here on you work for me and obey every command I give you. Any plans your friends have you'll report them to me understand." Abigail stated as Velvet simply nodded.
"Good girl. Now when I snap my fingers you'll fall asleep and wake up like nothing has happened but remember what I've said. The same action will place you under my control. You send me their plans via text messages. Remember you work for me now understood." Abigail replied.
"Yes." Velvet said her voice sounding monotoned.
"Now. Nighty night bunny." Abigail said and snapped her fingers. Just like what she said Velvet went straight back to sleep.
"Boys take our new friend back to her room. Don't want her friends to know that she's missing." Abigail stated as they did just that. All Abigail had to do was wait for the right time to spring her little trap.

Morning came to Kuchinashi as Star had just woken from a relaxing night but now she was needing to get down to business. More importantly of having to take out that radio tower in the Uppers Cliffs and then inflitrate the warehouse to get to where Abigail could be hiding out.
Cardin and May had woken up next and were downstairs with Arrastras.
"Morning everyone." Star said.
"Good morning to you too. Get a good nights rest?" May asked.
"Yeah I'm going to be needing all the energy I can with what we got to do today. Today we start by taking out that radio tower." Star stated however she noticed around that Velvet was downstairs yet.
"Hey? Where's Velvet? Isn't she up yet?" Star asked.
"She's probably still asleep." Cardin added.
"I'll go check on her." Star said heading back upstairs toward the end of hall where Velvets room was. She opened the door seeing that Velvet was still sleeping on her bed. Star walked over to the bed and gently nudged her shoulder.
"Vel? C'mon girl. Rise and shine." Star said making Velvet stir as she brown eyes opened seeing Star in front of her.
"Oh... is it morning already." Velvet said as she slightly yawn.
"Yeah. You're missing breakfast." Star added as Velvet got off the bed and followed Star downstairs.
After breakfast they immediately began working on a plan to find the radio tower so that they could shut it down.
"So how do we find the radio tower?" Cardin asked.
"Like I said the tower is at the Upper Cliffs and well hidden too. However I know of something that could find it." Arrastra said as she brought out a small device with a needle that measured waves.
"This device can track down radio waves and point us toward the direction of where the tower is. Once we find it we can totally mess with it that they'll never be able to fix it." Arrastra stated.
"Perfect. Though doesn't that mean we'll have to climb up to the Upper Cliffs." Star said.
"I've already have that covered. I've booked a small airship with just enough room for all of us." She said.
"Great. Should we head out then?" May asked.
"Let's make some preparations and then we'll head up to the cliffs." Arrastra said.
"Right don't want anything bad happening while we're up their." Cardin added as they all nodded in agreement.
However Star noticed Velvet walk outside a moment but she ignored it and went over her weapons to make sure they were operating fully. Cardin was sitting down looking over his mace and May loaded her rifle and calibrated its scope. Though their was something on Cardins mind that hasn't left his thoughts in a while.
He dug into his pocket to find an emblem that was in the shape of a spiders web with a bronze colored chain hanging from it. It was a present from Rina that she made herself on her free time. It made him smile a little at the thought.
"Yoah." May said getting his attention as she looked at the one eyed sniper.
"What's that you got their?" May asked.
"Just... a little memento." He said.
"Really cause it looks handmade from the looks of it." May added.
"Yeah it is. It was a gift from my girlfriend." Cardin said.
"You mean Velvet made you that?" She questioned but he just shook his head.
"No no. It's not her. We're only friends at that point. I mean Rina." Cardin added.
"One of Star's teammates. I think I saw her compete in the finals of the tournament. Never thought she could win against that Penny girl." May replied rather knowingly.
"Oh she's full of surprises." Cardin added proudly.
"Did that mean you knew that she was a faunus from the beginning." Stars voice interjected as they looked toward the fox.
Cardin sighed before he spoke "Yeah... I knew. She didn't want me to tell anyone about that. I kinda figured out she was the theif going around stealing from other dust shops and was going to report her to the authorites but... I don't know I just... didn't." He replied.
"After that I kinda started to rethink a few things a bit along with other things as well." He added.
"Like your view on faunus in general." Star stated.
"Yeah kinda like that. I sort of... what do you call it again... put myself in their shoes. Especially Vels. Can't hide your ears and are constantly getting picked on. That would be a nightmare for any faunus like that." Cardin answered.
"Yeah I remember. You stopped picking on Velvet completely after a few days." Star added.
"Yep. Especially after we escaped when Beacon was attacked. Had to teach a few bullies a lesson to leave her be. Though if my sister was their that would've been a different story." Cardin said which surprised the both of them.
"You have a sister? Did not see that coming." Star said.
"Yeah. Kari Winchester. Apparently she went to some fancy preparations academy for girls while I signed up for Beacon. She was less than pleased and has a rather cold demeanor especially toward faunus." Cardin said.
"Wow... I would not want to be siblings to that one." Star added. The door opened as Velvet came back in putting her scroll away in her pocket.
"Yeah she can be a big pain in the butt." Cardin replied.
"So we ready to go?" Velvet asked as they all nodded.
"Okay everyone just follow me." Arrastra replied as they followed the cat faunus with her leading the way while Velvet stayed toward the back. It didn't take long to get to the airship as Arrastra got into the pilots seat as they took off toward the Upper Cliffs.
Using the device Star kept checking of how close they were to the radio tower but so far it wasn't showing anything yet they started to fly around the cliffs.
"Anything yet?" Arrastra called back.
"Nothing!" Star said as they continued to fly about.
"You sure that this radio tower is here?" Cardin asked.
"Yeah. I don't think it can be anywhere else." Arrastra said. They flew around rocky terrian for another five minutes as they were almost reaching the summit when the needle on the device started to act up as it was getting a signal.
"Hey. I'm getting a reading. We must be getting close." Star said as Arrastra continued taking the ship upward until the needle was reaching it's peak.
"Stop!" Star shouted as the airship hovered in the air.
"This must be it." She added as they noticed where they were at. In front of them looked like it was the backyard of an estate and noticed the radio tower right in front of them as the top of it has a blinking red light signaling that it was still working and transmitting a signal.
Arrastra set the airship down gently so that it didn't make any noise as Star and the others eixted while Arrastra stayed inside incase of in need of a quick getaway.
"Alright let's mess this thing up good." Cardin said as he prepared his mace.
"Hold on muscles we need to do this right. May can you find the main power source?" Star asked as May slid up her beanie uncovering her prosthetic eye and started searching for the power source.
Inside the radio towers was a bunch of wires and connectors keep the thing transmitting but she saw what was making it run.
"The main generator is inside the metal container. That's where it's getting power from. Destroying it will render it useless." May said putting her beanie back down.
"Okay. Let's go" Star said as they walked over to the metal containr and opened it revealing a large generator as it hummed.
"Cardin. Do your thing." Star replied as Cardin readied his mace lifting it into the air.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." A males voice said but all recognized it as they turned to see Javi standing their with his gun drawn but not before having several other men surround them holding their guns at them as Star and May brought their weapons out while Velvet called up Stars weapon but they were drastically outgunned.
"Now... it's rather rude to go and destroy someones property." Javi replied holding a cup of wine in his hand.
"You honestly thought you could get away with destroying my radio tower. How foolish." Javi added taking a sip of his drink.
"How did he know what we were going to do?" Star thought.
"Now how about you all lower your weapons and be my guests inside." Javi said though Star knew what that meant. He was going to do far worse to them.
"Okay time for a back up plan." Star thought as she called up her maiden powers as she closed her eyes and focused. Suddenly storm clouds appeared above them getting everyones attention.
"Storm clouds? When did they appear?" One of the men questioned.
Stars eyes slowly opened revealing the blue flames around them as she unleashed her maiden powers as the storms clouds released a suddenly blizzard onto the area around them.
"What the!? Where'd this blizzard come?!" Another shouted trying to cover their eyes from the snow.
"May! Now!" Star shouted as May turned to the generator and fired a shot at it causing it to explode.
"Don't let them get away!" Javi ordered as they all fired at them but the moment their bullets left the barrels they suddenly froze on contact with the cold weather making them fall to the ground.
"Back on the airship!" Star ordered as they all quickly went back to the airship as Arrastra quickly took off making their escape using the blizzard as cover from Javi and his men.
Just as quick as the blizzard came it suddenly disappeared as was the airship.
"Damn. Well this just got a lot more interesting." He said as he had a report this to Abigail about this sudden development.

It didn't take them long to land back on solid ground as they began walking back to the house.
"Okay any idea what just happened up their? I thought for sure we were in the clear and he wouldn't find out." Arrastra said.
"I thought so to. Was he warned ahead of time." May said.
"I doubt that anyone knew about our plan but at least now they can't communicate with each other now." Star commented.
"Yeah but I still get this uneasy feeling that even if we cut off the communication he might still find a way to get word out to Abigail." Arrastra stated.
"You really think he could do that." May said.
"It's Javi. If he's blocked one way he'll find another way." She added.
"Still that should've slowed him down at least." Cardin replied.
"For now. We've got other matters to take care of. Javis not going to be happy about what we did. So I'd almost be expecting those four to show up at anytime." Arrastra stated.
"So what's the next step?" May asked.
"Since we've destroyed their radio tower we should try focusing on a more direct route to Abigail. Using the west side of the warehouse would be suicide. Our best bet is to go directly underneath them." Arrastra replied.
"What do you mean?" Star asked.
"What I'm saying is that their is a sewer system that leads directly underneath them. They would never expect it." Arrastra stated.
"Sounds like a plan. Though let's check on Opal. I want to get her take on this and how we should proceed." Velvet said as they nodded in agreement before walking toward the tavern. In the background Yuuki was following them but she was more paying attention to how Velvet was acting.
Meanwhile at the warehouse Abigail was focusing on getting everything ready for transporting when her scroll buzzed as she was recieving a call from Javi as she smirked at this.
"Oh Javi what gives the honor of your call." She said.
"It looks like you were right. They went after the radio tower. Having to use a land line in order to make this call." Javi replied.
"I told you I wasn't wrong. My little spy has told me everything and my men are taking care of the west wall so that they can't use it to get in." She replied.
"Team SMMK is still on standby. Want me to send them in and take care of them?" Javi asked.
"No. Not just yet. What else happened?" She questioned.
"Well... that fox faunus did something I wasn't expecting. I'm not sure how to describe it but her eyes were surround by a blue glow and then a blizzard suddenly appeared. They fleed before we could deal with them." Javi stated which Abigail hummed at this.
"I see... I'll keep you posted when we need to move the inventory." Abigail said as she disconnected. She thought a moment before going to grab something from shelf. It was a crystal ball. She placed a hand on top of the crystal ball channeling her aura into it.
"My lady. I call for your audience." Abigail replied.
The ball glowed a dark red and black as smoke came out of the ball and before long a pale figure appeared before her in the smoke. It was Salem.
"My dear Abigail. What brings you to call me?" Salem asked motherly as Abigail bowed before her.
"A thousand apologies my queen. You told me to call you when something important came up. I have reason to believe that I've located the Winter Maiden." Abigail replied.
That brought a curious, yet small smile to Salem as she allowed her to continue speaking.
"A young fox faunus has the maidens power. With your permission my queen I would like to capture her." Abigail replied.
"With the Winter Maidens power the vault in Atlas can be opened. Very well you have my permission." Salem stated.
"Thank you my queen." Abigail said as Salem vanished from her sight. Now Abigail has a new objective and she'll complete it without fail.
F3: That ends chapter 7 of volume 5. Radio tower is down and now they're go to go after Abigail and yet they still aren't aware about what has happened to Velvet.
