F3: Welcome to chapter 15. Weiss and company dealt with the problem in the train station and now the rail will need repairs. Time to check up on Ruby and company. RWBY is property of Rooster Teeth. OC character will be credited to the author(s). With that said Let's Dive In.
Volume 5-15: Marching Onward.
After her little rescue mission Nora went to go find Nyx and see if she might have some spar clothes she could use for the rest of the trip to Haven. She went to the house only to find that Norman was in there doing some dishes as he glanced over his shoulder to notice her.
"Oh Nora? Is everything alright?" Norman asked.
"Actually I was looking for Nyx. Do you know where she went?" Nora questioned.
Norman gestured toward their backyard "She's out back." He stated.
Now with a location Nora headed outisde to find Nyx hopefully she could help her with her wardrobe. When she got outside to the backyard she found Nyx but she was kneeling in front of the headstone with a bouqet of lilies in her hands. Nyx then placed the flowers down at the head of the headstone.
Nora noticed what the tombstone read 'Here Lies Coco Adel. A Proud Mother and Dear Companion.'. She was rather taken aback by this before she approached Nyx just as she got up from her spot on the ground. Nyx turned around to see Nora.
"Oh hey Nora. Is everything okay?" She asked the ginger haired girl.
"Yeah. Some people got lost in the woods and almost became grimm food. Luckily Birna warned me about them so I took care of them." Nora stated.
"That's pretty good of you. Don't want to lose anyone." Nyx replied however she could see Nora looking behind her at the headstone.
"This... was where we buried mom." Nyx added almost saddened by looking at the headstone.
"What happened to her? Was she killed?" Nora asked but Nyx shook her head.
"It was an illness that we couldn't handle at the time. Her body grew weak every day until she her body couldn't take it anymore. She died from the illness and we decided to bury her here." Nyx answered turning to the headstone.
"Dad was torn up when mom died but we knew that we had to move on without her and it was going to be hard. This right here... this town is a testement to that. That we can move forward no matter the hardship." She added as Nora listened intensely.
"What was your mom like?" Nora asked.
"Well... I was rather young at the time so I don't remember much about her. Though I do remember she was rather caring for me and dad. I just don't remember much." Nyx replied as she turned back to Nora.
"So... is there something that you need?" She asked.
"Actually. I was wondering if you have any spare clothes. The grimm kinda got me good and I definately don't want to go to Haven looking like this." Nora replied gesturing to her outfit.
Nyx hummed before she snapped her finger almost coming up with an idea.
"Yeah. In fact I think you all could go for an outfit change. Why don't you go get them and we can discuss new outfits." Nyx replied as Nora nodded at this as she went to go find the others.
Jaune was rather easy to find as he was helping some of the neighbors with their gardens teaching some of the younger kids of how to treat their gardens so it didn't take her long to find him.
"Hey Jaune!' Nora called over to him getting his attention. He left the garden for a minute to see what she wanted.
"Yeah what is it?" He asked.
"Well Nyx is offering to give us some different outfits and maybe thought you'd be interested." Nora answered. Jaune cupped his chin in thought for a moment almost deciding what to say.
"To be honest Nora I kinda like what I have right now especially... well..." Jaune said motioning to his black hoodie as it was rather special to him.
A wave of greif washed over the two of them remembering both of there teammates that died.
"I guess... there are somethings we can't part with yet." Nora said as she brought out the dagger that was once Rens.
"Yeah... it's hard to get rid of something when you had it for so long." Jaune added.
"True. Whether it's your hoodie or my dagger they are just items we can't let go." Nora stated.
"Maybe Ruby will want something new. Neo too." Jaune added.
Nora nodded "Yeah I'll go see if they would like that." She said as she went to go find Ruby and Neo while Jaune went back to the gardens.
It took a minute to locate Ruby and Neo but she saw the two were training but without there weapons as she saw them off to the side along with Ruby's cloak so that it wasn't damaged.
Ruby charged forward as she threw a punch at the shorter girl but Neo sidestepped and kicked Ruby in the stomach and then followed it up with a kick just above the jaw knocking the teen back as Neo charged going on the offensive. Ruby reacted quickly this time ducking some of Neos kicks and punches. She took an opportunity when Neo went to kick again but this time Ruby grabbed Neos leg and using her own momentum she threw Neo over her shoulder as Neo landed on her back with a thud.
Neo got to her feet before giving Ruby a thumbs up.
"Thanks. The more I practice the more I understand how to fight hand to hand." Ruby replied as Neo readied herself again for another round.
"If you're sure?" Ruby said with Neo nodding. Just before they could start another round Nora noticed them and came running toward them.
"Ah there you two are. Getting some practice in." Nora said.
"Yeah. Just took a bath and now where just staying loose for when we get to Haven. Who knows what we'll encounter there?" Ruby said.
Nora gave them a look over more correctly looking at the state of their clothes as there were a few rips in Neo's clothes that are more centered toward the lower legs and knees with a few on the top.
Ruby's wasn't looking great either mainly some rips on the arms and stomach.
"Well... this is an idea. Nyx is offering everyone so new clothes before we leave tomorrow." Nora replied.
"Really? She's offering us some new outfits. That's quite generous of her." Ruby replied as she got a better look of herself.
"To be honest I'm probably due for a change." She added as Neo nodded as well.
"Well after your done go by Nyx's home and she'll handle the rest." Nora replied.
Ruby and Neo continued with there training while Nora went to find Yang and Raven. Though it didn't take her too long as she walked past the bathhouse seeing Yangs and Ravens clothing folded neatly which means they were both currently taking a bath.
"Better leave them be for now. It would be rude to intrude on them." Nora said to herself before deciding to go visit Birna again and tell her stories about her times at Beacon.

Meanwhile inside the bathhouse Yang and Raven were taking a must need bath with both of them submerged in the water letting out a relaxing sigh.
"Man I definately needed this. Just all that tension melting away." Yang said.
"Agreed. We both kinda needed this after all that traveling we've been doing. Tomorrow we'll make our way to Mistral." Raven replied.
"Yeah. Though what I'm worried about is getting there in time." Yang said.
"That's not the only thing your worried about are you." Raven stated.
Yang nodded "I know that Blakes okay but... it's Weiss I'm worried about. She was in a bad state when we got her to the medical tent and with having her arm gone... how can I not be worried." Yang said.
Raven sighed but she smiled a little almost seeing a little bit of herself in Yang as she was rather protective of her own teammates when she was attended Beacon so she could relate to what her daughter was saying.
"Sometimes we just have to trust them that they'll be okay and hope for the best. I'm sure Weiss will be fine." Raven said which seemed to help calm Yangs nerves a bit.
"Thanks mom. I feel a bit better." Yang said.
"Good now let's just relax and enjoy today." Raven replied as they both soaked in the waters in the bathhouse.
Hours later past and it was near the evening with Norman fixing dinner for everyone while Nyx was getting everyones measurements. The only people that refused to get a new outfit was Raven, Jaune, and Yang so it would mean that everyone else would be getting something new for them to wear along the way to Haven academy.
It was Ruby's turn next for her measurements as she stepped into Nyx's room.
The room itself wasn't as flashy but it was rather conservative with having a few rolls of fabrics and along with a few clothings already made up. Her bed was neatly done as it has several plushies that looked home made.
On the right was a shelf full of strings and fabric of all assortment of colors.
"Okay Ruby. Your turn." Nyx replied.
"Um... what do you want me to do?" Ruby asked.
"Well... to put it bluntly... I need you to strip to your garments." Nyx replied making Ruby blush completely.
"W-W-What?!" Ruby shouted almost embarrased.
"Don't worry. I've done this many of times. Heck was planning on making a career out of it." Nyx replied though noticed how nervous Ruby was.
"If it'll help I'll turn around." Nyx stated as turned her back facing away from Ruby.
Ruby did what she was told removing her cape folding it neatly. It was about five minutes later that she completely undressed expect for her undergarments that consist of a lacy black bra and panty set.
"Um... you can look now." Ruby said hesitantly as Nyx turned around to notice what she was dealing with. She saw Ruby in all her splendor seeing her toned legs and seeing some muscle on her arms and broad shoulders yet she notices that Ruby has a rather slim figure.
Nyx got out her measuring tape "Alright arms out." Nyx replied as Ruby did just that.
She measured Ruby's arm span from her shoulders to the wrist taking a mental note on them before moving on to the other measurements.
"You prefer jeans or skirts?" Nyx asked.
"Um... a skirt. It's more comfortable." Ruby answered.
"Very well. And from what I'm guessing in the colors black and red." Nyx stated.
Ruby nodded at this holding back a blush while Nyx finished.
She then rolled up her measuring tape "You know your rather fit for someone your age. Not a bit of baby fat either. Not to mention curves in the right place." Nyx replied as Ruby began redressing herself.
"Well me and Yang jog around Patch and it's a pretty big island so we both stay pretty fit. Plus some of our other exercises too." Ruby added as she finished getting dressed.
"Really? I guess doing all that running really does wonders." Nyx replied as she was already getting ideas for Ruby's new clothes.
"I'll have something done by tomorrow." She said as Ruby exited Nyx's room.
"Thanks." Ruby said before heading out of the room. Though after she left Nyx's eyes changed to that of a dark green color which showed signs of worry in Ruby's voice.
"She's worried about something but what could it be?" Nyx asked herself that as she started working on some new outfits for at least three of them.
Ruby came back down from upstairs as Yang and the others were downstairs waiting on her.
"So how'd it go?" Nora asked.
"It was... a little embarrasing but not too bad." Ruby answered hiding a little blush.
"Well what's the plan?" Yang asked.
Ruby tried to come up with a plan as she was forming one in her mind but Raven had an idea in mind.
"We make our way toward Mistral. There is a safe house that we can use to formulate a plan to defend Haven. Plus when we get to Haven we can talk with Lionheart and warn him about a potiental attack on his academy." Raven replied.
"Sounds like a plan. We can get an early start in the morning. Make as much ground as we can. So that means everyone needs to get plenty of sleep tonight and we head out at first light." Jaune added.
Yang stretched her arms out and let out a big yawn before getting up from her seat.
"Yeah let's get some sleep. Norman said we can use the rooms for tonight." Yang added.
"Then let's do that. Everyone get well rested." Ruby replied as they all decided to get some sleep as they paired up with Jaune and Nora sleeping in one room the same with Raven and Yang and finally Ruby and Neo shared a room as they all slept peacefully.
=SPIR=
Meanwhile in the Grimmlands Salem was making sure that everything was prepared for their next move to attack the academy to obtain the relic that was housed there. Salem was also well aware that in order for the vault to be opened it required the Spring Maiden and the artifact that goes with it as well.
Though she also faced another problem in the form of that one of her subjects failed to bring her a certain individual as Tyrian returned with part of his tail sliced off as Arthur was making him a prosthetic tail that would make it much easier to inject his venom.
However right now she was focused on another task which was making sure her subjects were prepared as Coco was mastering her powers as she burned away another clone of Ruby as it vanished. Coco then summoned a firesword and slashed another clone in half showing no remorse for it and stabbed a third one through before they vanished.
She then brought out her newest weapon that Arthur created for her. It was a slightly curved scabbered with a katana inside. The katana had a gold hand guard with a gun trigger along with a red and black grip. The shotgun is a black, and red with gold accents and a lever action trigger for maxium damage.
Coco pulled the trigger firing the katana out of the scabbered hitting a Ruby clone as it bounced off her. Coco jumped and grabbed the katana and slashed at the clone again killing the clone. She then took the scabbered as a shotgun and fired an electric dust shot at another paralyzing the clone in place before she cut the clone aiming for the neck with murderous intent as the clone vanished after being defeated.
Salem looked pleased with Coco's progress as she appauled her.
"Well done my dear. it's safe to say that you are ready to return to the battlefield. I'm most pleased at your progress." Salem replied.
Coco turned to face her before bowing down to a knee "Thank you my queen. I promise that I will not fail you." Coco replied. She felt Salem place a hand on her head almost like she was getting petted by her queen.
"I know you won't. You are one of my valued subjects. Never forget that my dear." Salem said smoothly.
"Now do you remember your tasks?" Salem questioned like she was testing her.
"Destroy Haven Academy. Return with the relic and with the young girl with the silver eyes. Kill anyone that gets in my way." Coco stated.
"Very good. Remember Ozpin has more than likely reincarnated into another body. Do not underestimate him under any circumstances." Salem ordered.
"Of course my queen." Coco said as she stood up from her spot as Salem cupped her cheek.
"Remember bring me the girl alive." Salem reminded as Coco nodded as Coco took her leave the doors opening and closing on their own.
"Having a small chat with our queen." Tyrian said next to her as he was leaning on a pillar.
"Yes. She was reminding me of our tasks. It must've been painful for you losing your tail." Coco replied walking over to him seductively with a little bit of sway in her hips.
"Oh I plan to get my revenage on that girl that did this to me." Tyrian growled as he wrapped his arms around her.
"She ordered me to bring her back alive and we both don't want to disappoint her again." Coco stated as she leaned in to kiss him.
"My isn't this a rather spicy sight." Another females voice replied.
It was Euryale Oboro but this time she was wearing a black sleeveless top that seem a little tight as it exposed some of her chest. She also wears a short skirt that just hits under the lower thigh. On the skirt is a pair of purple hard armor with gold accents. She also wears a pair of black knee length combat boots.
"What do you want snake girl? Talk about ruining a moment." Coco replied.
"Oh don't worry about me ruining this for you. I just want to inform you that I'll be getting involved in this little attack on Haven. I'm just wanting to make sure that you two should know." Euryale stated.
"If your assuming that we'll be ready when it is time to bring the hammer down on Haven then yes. Just as long you're ready as well." Coco said firmly.
"I will be. At least Salem knows that I won't fail in my mission. Just don't fall behind dear Coco or you're spot next to Salem will belong to someone else." Euryale replied taking a little jab at Coco's failures.
Coco growled almost wanting to strangle the snake right now if she didn't want to upset Salem even further.
"Sometimes I hate that girl. She's only useful because of her semblance." Coco said.
"Guess well have to deal with her for awhile. Then we can get to some of our... alone time." Tyrian said planting a small kiss on her cheek before separating as they prepared for their invasion and to steal the relic.

Morning returned to Kuroyuri as everyone was awake and they were prepared to leave as Jaune, Raven, and Yang were waiting for the others to so up.
"What's taking them so long?" Yang asked.
"My guess it's that they are trying on the new outfits that Nyx made." Raven said.
They then heard footsteps coming down the stairs as the others came into view.
First was Neo as she was still wearing the same jeans and her overbust corset showing off the curves of her hips. But now she wears a chocolate brown colored jacket that starts just below the shoulders and above the chest with a pink interior, two brown belt shoulder straps and twin gray button seams. She also wears a white vest style top that has three gray buttons on it.
Next right behind her is Nora as she now wearing a dark pink button up shirt that reveals her mid driff along with a dark blue coat with pink accents. She now wears dark blue short shorts with a brown belts that has a cloak attached to it that also as pink accents. On her back is a sheath to hold her weapon.
Finally Ruby came down behind all of them. Ruby still wears her signature red cloak but now she wears a black sleeveless body suit that curves her hips along with a dark red corset that has a black stripes going along the sides. She wears a black pleated skirt that is split at the side with a small brown belt strapped across the gap and she wears black shorts underneath.
She now wears black stockings with a red stripe down the side with her combat boots.
"Nice outfit sis." Yang mentioned getting a better look at her.
"Thanks. I guess this was rather needed." Ruby replied. Nyx then came down behind them leaning on the railing of her stairs.
"You're welcome. The fabric I used will not only keep you warm but it won't rip easily unless you try. Meaning it can take a lot of punishment before it rips." Nyx replied.
"That's nice. Not only fashionable but combat able too. Not bad." Nora commented.
"Alright. We hate to have to run but we have to get going here pretty soon. The quicker we leave the faster we can get to Haven." Raven stated.
"Yeah. You guys got a mission. But if you're going to Haven then you're going to need a map." Nyx said as she brushed past them heading toward the living room. She went over to a cabinet and pulled out a map of Mistral entirely as she rolled it out.
"Okay. This is where Kuroyuri is." Nyx said pointing to where they were currently.
"And you want to get here to Mistral which is where Haven is." Nyx added pointing toward the capital.
"You're best chance is to head west and then head straight north. You'll come to a point where you'll two mountains on each side that will be the entrance to Mistral. Be careful though there are some strong grimm out that way." Nyx warned.
Ruby brought her scroll and had Penny scan the map so that way they don't lose there way.
"Judging the distance from here to Mistral. Estimated time will be three to four days." Penny replied.
"That should give us plenty of time then." Ruby replied.
Nora walked up to Nyx before embracing the young adult "Take care of the town okay." Nora stated.
Nyx returned the gesture "I will." She said as they separated and the group walked out of the house began heading west out of Kuroyuri and was now making there way to Mistral and hopefully without having anymore surprises.
