F3: Welcome to chapter 28 which would be Part 3 of this story. The battle of Haven as begun and things are escalating. RWBY is property of Rooster Teeth. Senka Linwood and Colby Castanho are owned by MountainKing312 while Akane Shidou is owned by Decode9. With that said Let's Dive In.

Volume 5-28: Battle For Haven (Part 3)

Fights were breaking out everywhere within the ground of Haven Academy as the students were trying their best to hold off the White Fang. Ruby and May were shooting at them from above before having to take cover as they were shot upon. Weiss and her group were slowly dwindling their forces but they too were starting to lose ground to them as well. Adam and Blake were surprisingly working well together as they were holding them back as the two of them knew each other too well of what they needed to do.

Blake threw Gambol Shroud at Adam in which he caught it in his hands and using the momentum from the throw he started swinging Blake around in a circle as she used her clever to attack those that got near her. He then let go of Gambol Shroud tossing it into the air which made Blake soar into the sky getting an aerial view of her enemies. Using her semblance in mid air she created four other clones of herself each embedded with a dust element as they sky dived at the enemies as they assisted in attacking the White Fang.

"These guys just don't know when to quit do they." Blake replied as she focused on her enemies.

Pepper and the others were having just as much luck as they could handle as Pepper punch another Fang out of the way but making sure to knock them out and not to seriously hurt them.

However she noticed a large man began approaching her as she got into a fighting stance.

"This did not have to be this way. I don't wish to hurt you." Hazel replied.

"Should've thought of that before coming here bud." Pepper added as she got ready for a fight.

Hazel only looked at her with solomn gaze before clenching his hands into fists. He then stood directly in front of her and assume his fighting stance preparing to fight his opponent. He then charged at her, reeled back and then threw the first punch. Pepper reacted the same as she met his fist with her own as theirs collided with each other.

It was a test of strength between the two and Pepper was actually losing as he was pushing her back with almost ease. With a snap of her fingers she triggered her semblance making her heavier but even with that he was still slightly pushing her back.

"Is this guy even human at all?" She asked herself as she managed to shove him away but he was right back on the attack.

"He maybe big but he's also slolw." Pepper thought as he swung wide. Predicting this she ducked underneath it and delivered a solid punch to his gut which made him stumble a little. However it didn't stop him as he quickly recovered and swung again but it was faster than his last punch.

Pepper nearly dodged it feeling some of the wind from that punch as she this time managed to land two more blows on him but it seemed like it wasn't effecting him.

This time Pepper went on the offensive attacking him with blow after blow but it wasn't slowing him down at all. She delivered a straight punch to the side of his skull but it didn't do anything to him at all.

"You cannot win this fight. Back down and you will not be harmed." Hazel stated.

"Sorry no thanks." Pepper replied as she charged at the guy again but this time he was ready for her as the moment she threw a punch he sidestepped it and delivered a powerful punch straight to her gut knocking the wind out of her. He then delivered a second punch which sent her flying back first into a pillar.

Pepper groaned as her aura fizzled a moment trying to keep itself stable. Hazel rushed at her again looking to deal more damage to her aura but she saw what he was doing and managed to roll out of the way but his punch still impacted the pillar in which he punched straight through it.

"Got him now!" Pepper said internally and went on the attack but Hazel ripped his arm out of the pillar which made her hault her advance.

"Okay time for a different plan." Pepper replied as Hazel charged at her.

"Hey that's not a way to treat a lady!" A males voice shouted as a grey blur hit Hazel in the stomach knocking him away.

Pepper recognized the voice as she looked to her side and Mercury standing their a confident look on his face.

"Mercury! You're..." Pepper started.

"Talk later Wolfie. How about we deal with this guy first?" He said pointing to Hazel getting up from the kick.

She slightly blushed at the nickname but he was right they had to deal with this guy first.

Adam and Blake were dealing with White Fang members who had them surround but they weren't worried as everytime one of them came out them they were swiftly defeated. Blake rolled over Adams back taking care of charging Fang disarming them completely as Adam dealth with one that was original attacking her. The two were surprisingly working well together like they've never been apart before.

"Duck!" Blake shouted as Adam ducked which allowed Blake to shoot someone that was charging at him.

"These guys just don't give up!" Adam said blocking another slash. Though he saw Ilia had walked past and was heading straight to the academy blocking the shots from the snipers above.

"Euryale! Deal with those snipers now!" Ilia shouted.

Almost immediately the snake womans arm stretched upward toward the tower heading toward Rubys direction. Ruby saw this and she went to quickly avoid it but she was faster as she cut her off from escaping her.

"Well well. I'm going to enjoy thisss." Euryale hissed as Ruby readied to defend herself although she wasn't sure how this was going to end but she knew she was fighting a rather skilled opponent.

"Get away from her!" May shouted as she started firing at the woman but she quickly blocked any shots that May fired. Euryale then stretched her arm toward May grabbing her by the throat and then slammed her against the wall knocking her out.

"May!" Ruby shouted at her teammate switching her weapon to sword mode and began to attack the woman. Euryale blocked the predict swing and kicked the young girl in the stomach and then followed up with a punch to the her face making Ruby stumble.

"Time to have ssssome fun little Red." Euryale hissed having this grin on her face. Ruby tried using her semblance to avoid her but Euryale predicted that and just before Ruby could get passed her she kicked at the red blur in mid air which in turn sent her flying down from the tower as she crashed to the ground.

Ruby groaned from the kick as Euryale came down right in front of her.

"Let'sss sssee what make'sss you tick." Euryale hissed as she prepared to stab her sword at her.

However before she could a fireball hit her directly knocking her away and a Syber grimm came to protect her along it's master.

"You okay Ruby?" Iona asked.

Ruby got up but she was a little wobbly "Yeah I'm okay. Just glad that you guy showed up." She said with a smile.

"Ah. The other half of the fall maiden. Perfect for you to ssshow up." Euryale hissed.

"Didn't Rina deal with you already. Guess we're going to have to put you down." Iona said pointing her weapons at the woman.

"We've got this covered. Backup should be here anytime now." Killa replied.

"Huh? Who else is coming?" Ruby asked.

"Let's just say we've got our own army." Iona replied.

"You go help the others. Make sure they're all okay." Killa added as Ruby nodded using her semblance to head back up to the tower to check on May.

Meanwhile inside the academy the secret path lead Coco, Raven, and the captured Yang to underneath the academy as it was a cavern with a stone walk way and in the back is a large golden door.

The three got off the elevator and Coco simply looked on with awe.

"The vault of the Relic of Wisdom. Perfect." She said as the three approached it.

"Now. Open the vault." Coco ordered pointing her weapon at Yangs.

"Or pretty thing here gets it." She added pressing the gun to her head.

Raven was first rather stoic at the order she gave her but she then suddenly smirked at her.

"Yeah... that's not happening." Raven said surprising Coco.

"Oh so you want your own daughter to be killed. Not exactly mother of the year." Coco replied.

"Actually their is something I want to ask you. You've been around my daughter before you stabbed your teammate in the back and she can be quite a chatter box. So tell me... why hasn't she said anything lately?" Raven asked.

Coco not sure if the woman was bluffing or not she took a glance over to Yang as she didn't say a word. However Yang smirked as both her eyes suddenly turned brown and pink.

"What the..." Before she could finish 'Yang' headbutted her and flipped away from her as her semblance deactivated revealing that it was indeed Neo but she had Yangs weapons.

"You... how could you!?" Coco shouted very angry at them.

"We knew that you would try to capture Yang so that what we made you think. So I had Neo use her semblance on herself and Yang to make them each look like each other. Not a bad trick don't you think." Raven replied as Neo mockly chuckled.

The half maiden was now infuriated by this ignited her powers and launched a fireball at Raven but she saw through it and cut the fireball in half and Neo immediately rushed at Coco readying Ember Celica as she went to punch Coco. The maiden dodged the blow and responded by grabbing Neo with her grimm arm and tossing her at the relic door.

Raven charged at Coco as the other summoned a sword of fire and the two clashed together sending a shockwave when their weapons clashed. The two exchanged blows between each other trying to get an advantage on the other but each were so skilled that it was difficult to land a blow. Coco let out a furious battle cry and slammed her sword against Ravens actually causing it to break as Raven backpedaled away.

"Now your weaponless! I'll take your power and then the relic!" Coco shouted.

Raven sheathed her blade as the tumbler activated and landed on a color. Raven then unsheathed her weapon again but this time it was a bright yellow color.

"I'm never weaponless." Raven said as the two charged at each other again but this time Raven so an opening as she cut at Cocos grimm arm making her roar in pain as the arm fizzled.

"Your arm is grimm. I suggest that you give up. You will never get your hands on that relic." Raven replied.

"No! NO! I will not fail! Not for my queen! I will kill you!" Coco roared her grimm arm reformed as she summoned a rather large sword of fire. Raven sheathed her bladed and called upon her own power and created an icy sword in front of her as the two readied to clash again.

Meanwhile Colby and company were dealing with Cocos teammates and the others as 'Neo' went straight after Synin but she was getting rather frustrated at the girl.

"Hold still you stupid shrimp!" Synin shouted swinging her sword but her adversary easily ducked and dodged each swipe as 'Neo' backflipped away from her opponent. However Synin noticed that the girls body was starting to shift into someone that she was more angry at.

Instead of Neo that was in front of her it was Yang.

"Well guess her semblance didn't last long." Yang replied twirling Hush in her hands.

"What!? But how?" Synin shouted.

"Apparently you didn't know that Neo's semblance is overactive imagination. She turned herself into me and she turned me in her. Pretty cool huh." Yang commented.

Synin roared as she knew she had been fooled and charged at Yang but using the training she learned from both Neo and her mother she side stepped it without much problems and extended the hidden blade from Hush and slashed at her back cutting into her aura. Synin tried cutting her again but she got the same reaction again and again each time with no result.

"This is getting rather old don't you think. C'mon at least try and hit me." Yang mocked but that only enraged her as Yang was playing her like a fiddle.

Colby and Akane were currently engaged with Fox and Yatsu as Akane sidestepped the swing from Yatsu's sword before charging in with her short sword Stormbringer. But he saw this and quickly used his large sword to block her advance.

"What you're doing is pointless. You'll never leave this place alive." Yatsu stated.

"Yeah think again buddy. We don't give up that easily." Akane stated as Yatsu pushed her away. However she quickly sheath her sword and pulled out her gun Rising Sun and begun to open fire at him almost unloading the whole clip on him but with the size of his sword it could almost double as a shield blocking her shot entirely.

Colby and Fox were engaged in their battle as Colby's tomahawks clashed with Fox bladed tonfas.

"You know for someone that is blind you can't tell that you are being used. We'll never let you destroy this academy!" Colby shouted.

"Oh. Do you think you have the power to protect you little academy. It will fall just like the rest will." Fox stated as he pushed the man back and then switched his weapons mode to fire at Colby. Acting quickly threw his tomahawks at Fox before using his semblance to turn himself into a lightning bolt as he struck Fox in the chest and then grabbed his tomahawks and bashed them into Fox.

"You will not destroy this academy. Not while I'm still breathing." Colby stated as he pointed his weapons right at Fox.

Fox only grinned as he was excited at the chance to put this guy down for good.

Senka was engaged in furious battle with Tyrian as she ducked and weaved out of the mans crazy and wild attacks and even tried to sting her with his tail but she managed to avoid his attacks but he still remained persistant.

"C'mon! Fight back! I want to hear you scream!" Tyrian shouted as he continued to press his attacks.

Senka skillfully blocked his strikes waiting for the right moment to counterattack. Luckily she didn't have to wait to long as the moment he attacked again her sword became charged with a lightning dust and stuck him shocking him as he quickly stepped away from her.

"So... it seems you still have some fight in you after all." Tyrian cackled almost impressed that she was able to strike.

"Oh I got more surprises for you." Senka said activating her semblance which made her disappear before his eyes.

"So hide and seek now. Fine I'll play your little game." He said looking for his prey.

Meanwhile Oscar and the headmaster where fighting as Lionheart began blasting him with fireballs from his weapon forcing Oscar to dodge his attack as he could barely get near him.

"You shouldn't have involved yourself boy. This isn't your battle to fight." Lionheart said pelting him with more fireballs.

"I became involved when you tried to threaten my friends. I won't allow them to get hurt." Oscar said but was met with more fireballs from Lionheart.

"Oscar please. Let me take control. I can handle him." Ozpin said.

"If you're sure." Oscar stated as he allowed Ozpin to take control as Ozpin stood to full height.

Lionheart noticed that their was a small change in Oscar but saw that his eyes had a slight grey color to them.

"It's been a while Theo." Ozpin replied his voice sounding younger but it didn't fool the headmaster as he recognized who it was.

"Ozpin. You've reincarnated into a different body." He said.

"Yes. You can stop this now Theodore. All this fighting can end right now." Ozpin replied.

Theodore looked to the side in shame but he had no other choice.

"I'm sorry but I cannot stop now. If it means killing you then so be it." Lionheart said readying for a fight as Ozpin stood into a fighting stance with his cane at the ready. He only hoped that the others were doing better than they were right now.

=SPIR=

Everyone was doing their best to hold off the enemey but they were slowly losing ground. Cardin and Jaune were getting push to their near limit but they still hold strong trying to fight back with all they've got. Weiss, Star and Emerald were doing what they could to fend them off but they too were getting overrun by the White Fang. Even with the help of Velvet and Nora it was starting to take a toll on them.

Ruby had managed to wake up May but they couldn't keep this up any longer as they were getting targeted by other White Fang members.

Killa and Iona are holding their own alongside Blake and Adam but the four can only do so much given the situation.

Pepper and Mercury were having a rather difficult time putting Hazel down as the man just refused to stay down.

Ilia however was savoring every last minute of this moment. Their resistance was slowly fading and they couldn't keep up the fight much longer which means they could freely destroy the towers in the acdemy.

Ilia raised her hand in the air making all other members stop fighting for a moment as she spoke out to them.

"Adam Taurus! You and your friends have fought admirably! I'll give you one opportunity! Surrender yourselfs to us and I'll spare you your lifes." Ilia shouted.

"We'll never surrender to the likes of you!" Adam shouted back.

"Then you leave me no choice! Consider this your execution! Kill them all!" Ilia ordered.

Just as she gave the order she heard something coming from the stone staircase behind her. It sounded like footsteps. And their was a lot of them from the sounds of it. Once the source of the footsteps came into view she was shocked at what she saw.

It was a large army of faunus but they all were wielding spears and shields. Blake noticed in front of the army was Summer alongside her parents and Rieka as well.

"I-Impossible!?" Ilia said as she couldn't believe what she was seeing as Blake smiled.

"Right on time." Blake said to herself as even Adam looked on.

Rieka was the first to speak as she walked slightly ahead "Members of the White Fang. This is your only chance! Put down you weapons and surrender immediately! No harm will come to you!" Rieka shouted with authority as the army behind her prepared themselves.

The White Fang members were shocked by this amount of faunus that had appeared that even some were considering what Rieka had said.

"Do not be fooled by them! We will take what is ours! Kill them!" Ilia shouted furiously as the fighting resumed but this time the White Fang focused their attention onto Rieka and her army.

"Subdue them!" Rieka shouted as her army charged along with the others. Randvi transformed into her leopard form and began pouncing at the White Fang. Summer used her semblance to zoom about the battlefield taking out Fang members along the way.

"Looks like they've got this under control. Let's go help the others inside." Adam said as Blake nodded following his lead but before they headed inside she grabbed his arm making him stop.

"Yes Blake." Adam started.

"Adam... thank you." Blake said thanking her former partner.

"Thank me when this is over." Adam replied as the two headed toward the academy. Iona and Killa saw this and followed them inside. Adam called for Ruby and May to retreat inside but instead they Ruby crash through the door of the academy.

Ruby groaned from the impact as she grabbed the side of her head as she recovered holding Thorn Gear at the ready.

"So my queen thinks that you are a threat. I can see why. Not only that you are quite skilled but those beautiful silver eyes... those will have to go. She didn't say how you should come back. Maybe I'll rip out those eyes of yours first before bringing you before her. Yeah... that works perfectly." Euryale stated.

Ruby morphed her weapon to its sycthe mode and twirled it in her hands as she prepared to fight her. She charged at the snake weapon as their weapons collided sparks flying from the impact but while Euryale was more skilled than her Ruby was faster as she began swinging her weapon like she used to with Crescent Rose. Twirling and swinging it with ease that it was becoming harder for Euryale to keep up with her movements as she tried to parry her attacks.

Euryale jumped back in order to gain some distance between them but noticed the other fights that were happening within space of the academy.

"Ruby!" Yang shouted out as she joined her sister.

"You okay?" Yang asked.

"Yeah. Just gotta deal with this woman here." Ruby said pointing out Euryale.

"Hold on isn't that one of Rina's old friends?" Yang questioned.

"She used to be." Ruby answered.

"Hey brat we're not done yet!" Synin voice shouted from across the room as she charged at Yang.

"How about we switch partners?" Ruby asked.

"I like the sound of that." Yang smirked as she readied Hush while Ruby went to intercept Synin.

"So I've got to deal with you now? Euryale questioned though rather annoyed.

"Yep and I don't go down that easily." Yang persisted.

"Oh we'll sssee about that." Euryale hissed as the two squared off against each other.

=SPIR=

Summer made her way through the mess of soldiers trying to make her way to the academy but was getting blocked by more White Fang members and even though they were swiftly defeated they were slowing her down. That is until she saw Adam help her soldiers fend off the Fang members she decided to approach him.

"Are you Adam Taurus?" Summer asked getting his attention as he stared at her with his one good eye.

"Yes." Adam answered.

"What's the status?" Summer questioned.

"Were trying ton confide them into this area. We can't let them get near the towers. They have explosives that could destroy them and take out communications all throughout the continent." Adam replied.

"Rieka and the others are already on that. Leave things to us here." Summer replied as Adam nodded before going to join his teammates.

If things keep up even more than she was certain that the academy wouldn't last much longer than it already has. She also felt a certain pull coming from inside that academy like someone was calling out for her and she needed to go their.

"Ruby... I'm coming daughter." Summer replied as she swiftly made her way toward the academy doors in hope to reunite with her daughter after so long apart.
