Chapter 6

The sudden sight of Regina's blood tears proved too much for Emma to handle, causing her need to get out of there as fast as she possibly could. She ran out of the apartment without looking back, slamming the door behind her.

Regina is a Vampire. She said those words over and over in her head as she ran down the street, putting as much distance between herself and the woman she was slowly falling in love with. She felt angry. She felt betrayed. But more than anything, she felt sad. Sad because she was forced to break up with Regina. She liked Regina. She really liked Regina. But she couldn't be with her. A Vampire and a hunter could never be together…could they?

She tried with all her might to hold back her tears, but she eventually lost the fight as soon as her apartment building came into view. She ran as fast as she could toward her building, the tears that were streaming down her face were burning her eyes the entire time. Her tears blurring her sight as she struggled to get the key in the door, slamming the door hard once she was on the other side. Her legs finally gave out as her back hit the door, causing her to slide to the floor, her arms instantly wrapping around her knees. She tucked her head between her arms and cried until her throat was raw and her eyes were nearly swollen shut.

How could she have been so stupid? The signs were all there, how could she have missed them? She had only ever seen Regina drink things, never eat. And she always drank out of solid colored cups, never a clear plastic one. Clearly, that was to cover the fact that she wasn't actually drinking, or the fact that she wasn't drinking coffee, but blood. Regina was always cold. Like freakishly cold. Sure, they met and started dating in the winter, which would explain her cool skin temperature. But it was spring now, and the air was warming up, Regina's skin should have been as well. But the biggest indicator should have been the fact that Emma had never seen Regina during the day. Sure, they both worked at night and Regina seemed to be a night owl, so it would make sense they both slept during the day, but Regina never seemed to venture out until after sunset. All the clues were there, and Emma was convinced that her heart was making her ignore the clues.

She didn't even change her clothes as she curled up in bed and pulled the covers over her head in an attempt to block out the world as she continued to cry. Her stomach growled from missing dinner but hurt at the same time from crying. Her heart ached as she cried harder than she had ever cried before, until she eventually cried herself to sleep. At some point, she heard her phone chime, indicating a text message. She assumed it was from Regina, making sure she made it home safe.

Emma woke the following night with a splitting headache, most likely a result of her intense emotional outburst that caused her to pass out from exhaustion. She went through the motions as she set up the coffee pot to make coffee before heading to the shower, desperately trying to wash yesterday off her skin. Once her shower was finished and her coffee was poured, she sat on the couch to check her email to find her assignment for the night. Commons duty. At least there would be a lot of people around. Hopefully, there would be at least one hungry Vampire looking to score their next meal and she could take her frustration out on an unsuspecting Vampire before she turned them into dust. She finished her coffee and began to prepare for her night, making sure all her knives were sharp and dipped in holy water before securing them to her belt, making sure to grab enough wooden stakes before she pulled on her jacket and left her apartment.

Her mind was racing the entire time she was walking, and by the time she made it to the Commons, she was struggling to hold back more tears. She stretched her neck and jumped up and down a few times, trying to shake those feelings and clear her head before making her way into the Commons. She did a quick scan of the surroundings before starting her patrol, her eyes falling on a familiar woman seated on a familiar bench.

Regina.

She was sitting on the same bench she had been when Emma asked her out for the first time, sipping from a familiar black travel mug that Emma now knew was filled with blood, not coffee. Emma straightened her back and walked right past her, looking straight ahead, not acknowledging Regina sitting there. No matter how many times she walked past that bench that night, she never looked Regina's way, even though she could feel Regina's eyes trained on her each time. She could tell Regina wanted to talk to her, but this wasn't the time. Emma wasn't ready to talk just yet. And she certainly wasn't ready to forgive Regina for lying.

The sky was starting to lighten ever so slightly as she began her final round before calling it a night, and Regina was still seated in the same place she had been all night.

"Go home, Regina. The sun is starting to rise. You're going to get hurt and sick if you're stuck in the sunlight," Emma said as she finally gave in and stopped to sit on the bench next to Regina, her gaze falling on her shoes.

"I'm not going anywhere until you talk to me, Emma," Regina responded, her skin already starting to heat up as the sun began to rise.

"Now is not the time, Regina."

"Just promise me one thing, Emma. Just promise me that you'll think about it. That you'll think about us, about giving me a second chance. That's all I ask," Regina said, her voice pleading.

"Fine, I'll think about it. Now will you please go home before you get hurt?" Emma quietly pleaded, looking over at Regina for the first time since yesterday.

"Good night, Emma," Regina said, reaching out to touch Emma's leg, causing Emma to jump suddenly when she felt her icy touch.

"Good day, Regina," Emma said, placing her hand on top of Regina's, squeezing slightly. Regina smiled a sad smile before standing and rushing out of the Commons, desperately trying to make it home before the sunlight hit her skin. Emma left a few moments after Regina, making it home a little while later. She sank into her couch with her laptop on her lap, preparing herself to start her nightly reports. But before she typed a single word, she texted Regina to make sure she made it home safe before sunrise. Once she knew Regina was safe and unharmed, she could start her reports, eventually calling it a night and dragging her tired ass to bed.

Emma spent the rest of the next week in a haze of thoughts and feelings, her brain telling her one thing, her heart screaming another. She could barely focus while working, and her dreams were filled with images of Regina Mills. All of her free time was spent searching The Agency's databases and archives, trying to learn everything she could about the Vampire named Regina Mills. Through her research, she discovered that Regina was old—very old. She was considered an Elder Vampire, which meant that Regina had been alive for over one hundred years. The Agency kept tabs on all the Elder Vampires, because they were the physically strongest, but also the most clever and smart. The more she read about Regina's life, the more she realized Regina was telling her the truth.

According to The Agency, Regina lived a quiet and peaceful existence, with no recorded Fledglings, which is a rarity for someone as old as Regina. Which meant Regina was telling her the truth when she said she no longer feeds on Humans, and the Fledgling she had killed the first time Regina saw Emma was a fluke. One that allowed them to cross paths for the first time. Emma started to feel horrible about saying the things she had to Regina, now knowing she was telling the truth and not just saying what she thought Emma wanted to hear. The last note made about Regina stated that she could often be found hanging out at The Blood Moon, but is never seen leaving with anyone, Vampire or Human alike.

Before Emma knew what she was doing, she was halfway to The Blood Moon. She didn't know what to expect when she got there, but mostly she hoped she didn't die. It looked like a slow night when she walked through the doors, instantly disappointed when she didn't see Regina anywhere inside the establishment. In a sudden change of plans, Emma slowly made her way to the bar, sitting on the stool closest to the door.

"What can I get for you…?" the bartender asked, looking her up and down, instantly identifying her as Human.

"Umm…I'm actually looking for some information…about one of your patrons. One of your Vampire patrons to be specific," Emma said, shyly.

"Listen. I can't give out private information about my customers, especially our Vampire clientele. This is a safe establishment for Vampires."

"Yes. Yes, you're right. I'm sorry. I just…I'm just looking for someone who might know my girlfriend…ex-girlfriend…maybe not ex-girlfriend…" Emma stuttered, trying to control her emotions. "…I just…wanted to know a little bit more about her, that's all," Emma said, defeatedly.

"What's her name?" the bartender sighed, clearly feeling sorry for Emma. "Maybe I can tell you a little about her without giving away too much private information."

"Regina…Mills…" Emma said slowly.

"H-o-l-y crap. You're Emma Swan, aren't you?" the bartender asked with a smile.

"Yeah, how did you know?" Emma asked, shocked that the Vampire bartender knew her name.

"Regina is a close friend of mine. She talks about you all the time." He smiled. "She finally told you, didn't she?" he asked.

"Yeah…" Emma said, suddenly feeling sad for the way she acted when Regina told her.

"That would explain why she hasn't been in for a while. She's too busy living the dream with her lady to come say hi to her buddy Graham." He laughed.

"Yeah…not exactly…I kinda freaked out and stormed out of her apartment."

"Oh," Graham said, reaching for a bottle of whisky and pouring Emma a glass.

"No thanks," Emma answered, shaking her head.

"It's on the house. You'll want something to drink while we talk a little," Graham said, pushing the glass toward Emma.

Emma sat at the bar for hours talking to Graham in between serving his other customers, and never once did she feel scared or unsafe being surrounded by so many Vampires. After spending hours observing other Vampires, she realized they really were just like everyone else, enjoying an evening out with friends, or maybe hoping to meet others, just like Humans. Graham answered all of her questions as best as he could, trying his hardest to not reveal anything too personal about Regina while still giving Emma insight into the inner workings of Regina's mind. She felt embarrassed when she left, knowing she should have been asking Regina those questions and not Graham. But either way, she knew more about Regina than she did when the evening began, and yet she was still conflicted. Even with all the information she had learned about Regina, there was still no way they could be together. A Vampire and a hunter could never be together, that's ridiculous. Wasn't it? She went to bed that night with even more questions than she had when she had woken up, and she was no closer to making a final decision regarding the fate of her relationship with Regina.

Emma paced her apartment a few days later, nervously watching as the sun began to set. She checked the window every minute as she continued to pace, convinced that time was actually moving backward. Eventually, after what felt like the longest thirty minutes of her life, Emma looked out the window to see the sun had completely disappeared from the sky and the world was beginning to grow darker. Emma grabbed her backpack and raced out of her apartment, making it outside just as the street lamps were starting to flicker to life. She practically ran down the sidewalk, making stops along the way before she reached her final destination in record time, knocking on the door swiftly, her stomach in knots. She heard movement in the apartment and a moment later the door opened slowly, a tired-looking Regina peering around the slightly open door.

"Emma?" she asked, shocked to see Emma standing on the other side of the door. Emma could tell she had just woken up, most likely still laying in bed when Emma knocked on the door.

"We need to talk. Can I come in?" Emma asked.

"Of course! Come in!" Regina said excitedly, moving aside to allow Emma room to enter her apartment.

"Regina…" Emma closed the door behind her, placing her backpack on the ground. "There's something I need to tell you…" Emma started to say. She took a deep breath, giving herself an extra moment to collect her thoughts. She had practiced this speech for hours, obsessively choosing each word and perfectly structuring every sentence. Except right now, while Regina's beautiful eyes were fixed on her like she was the only person that mattered in this world, she couldn't remember a single word.

"I dream about you every night. And every dream starts the exact same way. Your arms are around me, your lips are on my neck, and I'm holding a stake to your back directly over your heart. And every night one of two things happen. Either I plunge the stake into your back and you disappear into a cloud of ash, or I allow you to bite me and feed from me. And every morning, no matter what scenario I dreamt about that night, I wake up crying. But for very different reasons. On the nights I dream that I kill you, I wake up crying in the deepest sorrow I have ever felt. I cry because, even though it was a dream, you were dead, and the idea of you being dead destroys me. Those dreams were more terrifying than any nightmares I have ever had." Emma paused to compose herself, trying to desperately hold back the tears. "But on the nights I dream that you bite me, I wake crying tears of pure happiness, because I was yours and you were mine. We were together, and nothing in this world makes me happier than the idea of being with you, Regina. Being with you forever," Emma said, a stray tear falling down her face. Regina stared at Emma, trying to keep her own tears at bay, knowing her tears of blood would likely freak Emma out again.

"I feel the exact same way, Emma," she whispered.

"I want to be with you, Regina. I want to be with you more than I want anything else in this world," Emma said.

"Me too…" Regina whispered, her emotions getting the better of her as it took everything in her power to hold back her tears.

"I don't know how it's going to work out there, in the world. But when we're here, can we just be Emma and Regina? Not a Vampire and a hunter, just Emma and Regina."

"I think I can handle that." Regina smiled, her lips still closed around her teeth.

"So…" Emma said, crouching down to open her backpack. "I thought we could start over by doing something we've never been able to do…have dinner together. But since we eat different things, I stopped and got myself a sandwich from the deli." She pulled out a paper bag, placing it on the coffee table. "And I stopped at The Blood Moon and talked to Graham. He told me that your favorite blood type is AB+, but he was all out of it because it's apparently really hard to find."

"It is," Regina said softly, still trying to contain her tears.

"So I got a bottle of your second favorite, B+. I hope that's alright," Emma said, handing Regina the bottle of blood.

"It's perfect, thank you," Regina said, nearly bursting with happiness.

"One more thing." Emma reached into her backpack one last time, pulling out a fleece blanket. "I know you probably don't have many blankets, because you don't really have to deal with the cold, so I brought this with me. I was hoping I could maybe keep it here and use it when I come over, and maybe if I sleep over. That way we don't have to worry about me getting cold while we're sleeping," Emma said, placing the dark gray fleece blanket on the top of the couch.

"Emma…" Regina started to say, quickly wiping a tear from her eye before it could roll down her cheek and scare Emma away. "You did all of this…for me?" Regina asked, her voice full of emotions.

"Of course I did." Emma said, smiling so wide, taking a small step toward Regina.

"I don't know what to say. Thank you," Regina said, smiling wide without thinking, her fangs showing for the first time. Emma caught a glimpse of her sharp teeth, and her eyes opened wide in shock for just a moment. Regina saw this and immediately covered her mouth with her hands, her eyes filling with fear. "I'm sorry," she said, sadness in her voice as she continued to clamp her hand over her mouth.

"No, don't do that." Emma's eyes returned to their normal shape as she gently pried Regina's hands from in front of her face. "I want to see all of you, Regina. Including your fangs. Smile again, please." Regina smiled again, shyly at first, but eventually smiling wide, her fangs once again visible. "I like that smile much better. No more hiding your smile from me," Emma said, now aware that Regina was holding back all this time to hide her fangs.

Emma reached to cup Regina's face slightly before pulling her in for a soft kiss. This time, Regina let Emma slip her tongue inside her mouth as she slipped hers into Emma's. Their kiss, which started out innocent but quickly grew deeper, continuing for a few minutes, until Regina tasted blood. Emma is AB+, Regina thought to herself until she suddenly realized that Emma was bleeding, most likely having cut her tongue on her fangs.

"Oh my god, Emma. I'm so sorry!" Regina said, pulling away from their kiss so suddenly that it made Emma jump. "I think I accidentally bit you. I'm so sorry."

"Regina, it's okay. It was a mistake," Emma said, trying to calm Regina down. "We know there are going to be some challenges along the way," Emma continued, reaching out for Regina's cold hand. "It's going to be a learning process, and I'm up for the challenge." Emma smiled, leaning in to give Regina a soft kiss before resting her forehead against Regina's. "We'll figure it all out together."

"Thank you," Regina whispered, a stray blood tear falling down her face. This time, Emma didn't flinch when she saw it. Instead, she reached for a tissue and wiped it off.

"Let's eat. I'm starving. Is there anything I need to do to prepare the blood?" Emma asked, reaching for the container of blood on the table.

"You just need to warm it up a little. Cold blood doesn't taste very good. I can do it though, so it doesn't burn," Regina said, taking the blood from Emma, making her way over to the stove.

She poured some into her usual saucepan, turning the stove on low, stirring the blood with her usual wooden spoon when she suddenly felt Emma's arms wrap around her waist from behind, holding her tight.

"I've been waiting to do this for a very long time," Emma whispered, holding Regina close to her own body, Emma's warm breath tickling the cold skin on Regina's neck.

"Emma, no! Don't hold me like this! I'm too cold," Regina begged, trying to push Emma away.

"I'll wear an extra hoodie," Emma whispered, her warm lips kissing the cold skin on Regina's neck. Regina sighed with contentment as she leaned into Emma's warm body behind her, all the while continuing to stir her blood to prevent it from burning. Once it was ready, she reached for her favorite mug but hesitated and instead grabbed her travel mug, so Emma doesn't have to see her drink blood.

"No, don't hide. If you usually drink from your mug, then do that now. I don't want there to be any more secrets between us, even minor ones," Emma said, noticing the sudden switch in drinkware. Regina smiled, flashing her sharp fangs once more, and poured the blood in her favorite purple mug.

They settle onto the couch and Emma began to eat her sandwich and chips while Regina sipped her blood as they start watching the movie Emma intended on showing Regina a few weeks ago, before everything changed. By the end of the night, Emma was wrapped in her blanket while she laid in Regina's arms on the couch, both of them dozing as the television played on in the background. Regina woke up when she started to feel sunrise approaching.

"I better get going. You need to get to bed," Emma said, moving to grab her empty backpack.

"Will you come back tomorrow?" Regina asked as she followed Emma to the door.

"Of course I will. I'll stop and grab food and we can have dinner again," Emma said, leaning in for another kiss, this time avoiding Regina's fangs.

"Good night, Emma," Regina whispered, her mind foggy from the kiss.

"Good day, Regina," Emma said, causing another wide smile from Regina. Emma slowly backed up and away from Regina, walking down the hallway backward as Regina watched, until her back hit the wall on the far end of the hallway. With a quick wave, Emma turned around and disappeared into the stairwell.

Emma quickly ran down the stairs, her skin still tingling from the feeling of Regina's arms around her for most of the night. The sky was starting to brighten ever so slightly when she made it to the street, yet the streetlamps were still lit above her. She took a breath and started to walk off in the direction of her apartment, stopping after a few steps to look up at Regina's window to see if her lights were still on. Instead, she saw Regina's face staring back at her from behind her window. Emma smiled and blew her a kiss before continuing to walk down the street, knowing Regina would likely stand at the window and watch until she was out of sight, and she knew Regina needed to get to bed before she grew sick from the sun.

Emma was still smiling by the time she eventually crawled into bed a half an hour later.

Emma stood outside Regina's apartment, her phone pressed against her ear waiting for Regina to pick up.

"Emma, what's up? Are you on your way over?" Regina asked when she answered the phone.

"I'm downstairs. Get dressed, we're going out tonight." Emma laughed into the phone.

"No, it's okay. We can stay in tonight," Regina said on the other end of the line.

"No is not an option, Mills. Get dressed and meet me downstairs before I die of old age." Emma laughed. She could hear Regina sigh on the other line.

"Fine. I'll be right down." She chuckled before hanging up.

They spent every night in the few months they had been back together hanging out in Regina's apartment. Not that Emma minded it, but it was time for a change. A few minutes later, Regina emerged from the front door, greeting Emma with a sweet kiss before Emma grabbed her hand and started walking down the street. The air was starting to get warmer as summer approached, but there was still a cool breeze cooling the air around them.

Emma led them down the street for a few blocks, holding Regina's hand tight, until they reached their destination, a small restaurant on the corner.

"Emma…a restaurant?" Regina asked, confused at their destination. "You know I can't eat remember?" Emma ignored her as she opened the door, gesturing for Regina to enter before her. She walked up to the hostess, who perked up as soon as the door opened.

"Hi, good evening. We have a reservation under Swan, " Emma announced.

"Yes, I see it here. Swan, party of two," the hostess said, checking their name off the list of reservations. "And which menus will we be needing today?"

"One Human…" Emma said, turning her attention to Regina for a second. "…and one Vampire please." Regina couldn't help but smile when she realized where they were.

"Perfect," the hostess said, grabbing two different menus, stepping away from the podium. "Follow me." They followed the hostess through the restaurant and toward a small booth in the corner. "Enjoy your meals." She smiled, placing the menus on the table and taking her leave to attend to the other customers who had just walked in.

"I asked them for the quietest table in the place." Emma smiled, handing Regina her menu of blood.

"Emma. This place. It's amazing," Regina said, still in awe of the restaurant.

"I thought it was about time I took you out on a proper date." Emma smiled, reaching for Regina's hand across the table. "And I wasn't going to let our differences get in the way of that."

"Thank you," Regina said, holding back tears.

"This place makes their own blood blends, so you can order different combinations or make your own," Emma said, not even looking at her own menu. "And I hear they also make dessert blood. I don't know how they do it, but apparently they have one that tastes just like chocolate."

"Really?" Regina asked, her eyes wide with wonder, reading her Vampire menu with shock. "How do you know this?"

"I may have Googled it and read every review on their website…and the Yelp website…and Google…" Emma said, an embarrassed blush creeping across her face. Regina giggled slightly. "I wanted to make sure tonight was perfect, so I needed to find the perfect place for you. On the plus side, they are supposed to have the best chicken parm in the entire city." Emma smiled again.

"You did all that, just for me?" Regina asked, still in shock.

"Of course I did," Emma said, reaching across the table for Regina's hand. "And I would do much more."

A few minutes later, their server arrived to take their order. Regina ordered a AB+ house blend. Emma, of course, ordered the chicken parm. After the server scribbled down their order and retrieved their menus, they were left alone once again.

"You know…" Regina said, after a few moments of comfortable silence. "I don't think anyone has ever taken me out on a date like this," she admitted, her voice sounding sad.

"How? How is that possible?" Emma asked in shock.

"I mean, I've been out on dates. But…before…none of my suitors really put much thought into our dates, and usually took me places that were dark and smokey, hoping for something more than I was willing to give," Regina admitted.

"What about after?" Emma asked, eager to learn everything there was to know about Regina, even the sad parts.

"After I was turned, they were still only interested in one thing…" Regina said, even sadder this time. "No one has ever seemed to be interested in me…just me…"

"Hey." Emma reached across the table again, pulling Regina's gaze up from the table. "I'm not like that. Don't get me wrong, you are a very beautiful and attractive woman. The most beautiful woman I have ever met, to be completely honest. But that's not why I'm here. I told you, I want to know all of you, not just your body. And when I said I would wait until you were ready, I meant it," Emma explained, sensing Regina's mood elevate slowly.

"Really?" Regina asked, hesitation in her voice.

"Really really." Emma smiled, squeezing Regina's hand.

The server returned a little while later with Emma's chicken parm, as well as Regina's blood, served at a perfect 98.6 degrees fahrenheit with a special glass straw, to ensure that there were no taste imperfections with the blood. Regina was shocked with the great lengths the restaurant went to in order to ensure even Vampires had a great dining experience. That was a very foreign concept for Regina.

After their intimate and romantic dinner, they decided to take their dessert to go and headed back into the warm Boston evening. They walked back to Regina's apartment hand in hand, Emma rubbing small comforting circles on the back of Regina's hand with her thumb. Emma hesitated slightly when they reached the front door of Regina's building, clearly not ready for the date to be over.

"So…we still have dessert to eat," Regina said, just as unwilling to end the date as Emma was. "Would you like to come upstairs and have dessert with me? Maybe we could watch a movie before you go."

"I would love to!" Emma smiled, practically jumping for joy.

They rushed up the stairs, and Emma could have sworn that Regina's hands were shaking as she tried to unlock the door to her apartment. Regina took her blood into the kitchen to warm it up while Emma kept her company, eventually ending up with her arms around Regina from behind, kissing her softly and holding her close.

"Are you too cold?" Regina asked, resting her head on Emma's shoulder as she stirred her blood, trying to focus on not burning it.

"I'm never too cold when you're around," Emma whispered. Regina knew she had to be lying, but she didn't care. She liked the feeling of being in Emma's arms.

As soon as her blood was warm enough, they settled into the couch to enjoy their dessert, a random movie playing in the background.

"So, how is it? Does it taste like chocolate?" Emma asked, taking a large bite of her chocolate cheesecake.

"Oh my god," Regina said, her eyes wide with shock. "It does!"

"Really?" Emma asked, her eyes lighting up at Regina's excitement.

"I didn't think I would ever be able to taste chocolate again," Regina said, slight tears welling in the corner of her eye. "Thank you."

"You don't ever need to thank me," Emma said, reaching to cup Regina's face, her thumb wiping away the forming tear before it could escape down her face. Regina smiled back at her, unable to formulate words.

They ate the rest of their dessert slowly, Regina savoring in her chocolate-flavored blood, while Emma practically licked the to-go box clean from her cheesecake. Emma stood up and started cleaning up their snack, when Regina's hand on her wrist stopped her, pulling her back down. Regina crawled into Emma's lap the moment she was back on the couch, her lips pressing against Emma's before Emma's brain could process what was happening. She tried so hard to stifle a moan when she felt Regina's tongue slip past her lips but failed miserably.

"Emma…" Regina whispered, pulling away from Emma's lips for a moment. "…I…I think I'm ready…"

"Are you sure?" Emma asked, cupping Regina's face, not wanting to force Regina to do anything she wasn't comfortable with. "I told you I would wait as long as you needed, and I mean that."

"Yes, I'm sure. I want to be with you too, Emma. All of you." Emma smiled, kissing her softly once more. "It's just…it's been a really long time…since I was with someone…intimately."

"That's okay." Emma smiled again, her hands running up and down Regina's back.

Regina leaned in to kiss Emma once more, and this time she felt Emma's hands dip under the hem of her shirt, grazing her hot fingers over her the cool skin of her back.

"Just for the record…" Emma said, breaking their kiss for a second. "This isn't the reason I took you out to dinner tonight."

"I know." Regina smiled, capturing Emma's lips once more before she could say anything else.

Emma smiled as she continued to kiss Regina, breaking once again to remove Regina's shirt. She could feel the woman's hesitation as she pulled the fabric off her body and tossed it to the floor. Before they could start kissing again, Emma pulled her own shirt off, leaving them both topless, hoping to help Regina feel more comfortable.

"Can we…move to the bed?" Regina asked as Emma continued to run her hands up her back, stopping at the clasp of Regina's bra.

"Of course." Emma smiled, releasing her hold on Regina so she could climb off her lap.

Regina led Emma across the room of her small apartment and over to her large bed in the corner, pulling back the bed curtains, allowing the light of the room to illuminate the bed.

Emma waited until Regina was facing her before she slowly unclasped her own bra, letting it fall to the floor slowly. Regina's eyes widened as she gazed on Emma's bare breasts, resisting the urge to reach over and take each nipple into her mouth. Emma continued to undress, removing her jeans and panties in one swift motion, trying to remove her socks without Regina seeing. Suddenly, Emma was standing naked in front of Regina.

Regina couldn't take her eyes off Emma, standing in front of her completely naked with a wide smile on her face. Regina's heart pounded in her chest for a few moments before she snapped out of it. Shaking her head ever so slightly, she reached behind to unclasp her bra and let it drop to the floor. She gazed at the floor as she unbuttoned her own jeans and pulled them down, along with her panties, kicking them both to the side. She stood nervously in front of Emma, using everything she had to resist covering herself up with her hands. She slowly looked up at Emma, her heart skipping a beat when she saw her face.

Emma was staring at her in complete and utter awe, her eyes sparkling with unshed tears.

"You are so beautiful," Emma whispered, her voice failing her.

"Then why are you crying?" Regina asked, not quite believing Emma's previous statement.

"Because I've never seen anyone so beautiful in my life. I'm not sure you're actually real and that I'm not dreaming," Emma said, a stray tear falling from her eye.

"I am very much real," Regina said, closing the gap between them, wiping the tear from her face. "And you are most certainly not dreaming." Emma smiled, pulling Regina in for a gentle and soft kiss."

"Lay down," Emma whispered, once again sensing Regina's nervous hesitation. Regina slowly crawled into the center of the bed, looking up at Emma, nervous once again when Emma followed her.

"Stop me if you get uncomfortable," Emma whispered as she hovered above her. Regina nodded, her heart pounding in her chest in anticipation.

Emma nudged Regina's head to the side, pressing a soft kiss on her neck, right under her ear, continuing down Regina's long and slender neck. She moved so slowly Regina almost didn't register the movement until she felt Emma on the other side of her neck, following the same route, continuing down when she reached Regina's collarbone.

Emma continued to kiss down Regina's chest and into her cleavage. She moved slowly once again, startling Regina slightly when she felt Emma's tongue run over her nipple, wrapping her lips around the growing nub, sucking slightly. She arched her back at the sensation, pressing her nipple further into Emma's mouth. A second later, Emma's lips abandoned the first nipple for the other, paying the exact amount of attention to that growing nub. Regina moaned so quietly, Emma almost missed the glorious sound.

A few more seconds later, Emma continued her descent down Regina's body, pressing soft kisses down her abdomen. Her kisses were so soft that Regina almost didn't feel them.

Regina's breath caught in her throat when Emma reached her mound, nervous for her next move, resisting the urge to clamp her legs closed. Instead of moving toward Regina's core, Emma detored down Regina's thigh, kissing the top of her right leg all the way past her knee and down to her ankle, kissing her way back up her inner thigh. This time, when Emma reached her core, Emma pressed a very soft and intimate kiss on top of the sweet bundle of nerves hidden beneath. Regina shuddered at the intimate kiss as Emma continued down her left leg, coming back up with soft and sweet kisses on the inside of the other leg as well.

"May I taste you?" Emma asked once she reached Regina's core again.

"Yes…please…" Regina breathed, her heart nearly exploding out of her chest. She could feel Emma breath against her core, trembling with anticipation.

Emma gently spread Regina's lips with her fingers, giving her more access, which allowed her to run her tongue through Regina's soaked core fully before returning to the starting point. She teased Regina's opening for a second before running her tongue slowly through her folds, her lips settling around the sensitive numb between Regina's legs. She sucked Regina's clit slightly, causing another spark of arousal to shoot through her body.

Regina gripped the sheets so tightly as Emma's tongue shifted to her opening once again, pressing the tip inside her slightly before pulling it out again. Regina spread her legs wider, giving Emma more access and silently begging for more. Emma thrust her tongue inside Regina, going deeper and deeper with each thrust until Emma's lips met Regina's nether lips. She twisted her tongue around inside Regina, searching for that sweet spot that she knew was hidden deep within, knowing the exact moment the tip of her tongue found it.

A few moments later, she felt the walls of Regina's vagina tremble and contract around her tongue, the sign that Regina had just had her first orgasm. Emma looked up immediately and saw Regina, her eyes clamped shut and her hands gripping her own hair. Her chest was rising and falling quickly as Regina struggled to catch her breath. She pulled her tongue out slowly, replacing it with her middle finger, slowly moving it around inside Regina, once again searching for that sweet spot within.

Regina's hips began to move slowly with Emma, allowing Emma to slowly insert a second finger before they found the perfect rhythm.

"Emma…I…need you…" Regina breathed, clearly holding back.

"I'm right here," Emma whispered, shifting quickly until she was laying next to Regina, her fingers never stilling, her unoccupied hand slowly making its way under Regina's back, allowing her to hold Regina closer as she continued to finger her.

"Emma…Oh god, Emma…yes!" Regina cried out, followed by incoherent moans before she clapped her hands over her mouth. "Oh Emma, I'm so sorry," she said, embarrassed by her outburst.

"Don't do that." Emma stilled her movements as she looked over at Regina. "Don't hold back," she said, kissing the back of Regina's hand to encourage her to move it away from her mouth. "I want to hear you. I want to hear it all." Regina slowly removed her hands from her mouth and smiled a shy smile before Emma leaned over uncomfortably to smash their lips together once more. Regina moaned again when she tasted herself on Emma's lips and tongue.

"That's better," Emma said, breaking their kiss and falling back to her original position next to Regina, her hand trapped under Regina's body pulling her closer. Regina lazily turned her head toward Emma, knocking their heads together slightly as she reached over to hold the side of Emma's head, tangling her fingers into her slightly damp blonde hair. Emma could feel Regina's breath on her face with each delicious moan, sending waves of arousal through her own body.

Emma continued to finger Regina for a few more minutes, her own core throbbing, begging for attention, until she felt the now familiar tremble of Regina's walls, this time around her fingers.

"OH GOD! EMMA! EMMA! EMMA!" Regina screamed as she climaxed. Emma was sure she climaxed herself just by the sound of Regina screaming her name. Emma slowly stilled, trying to draw out Regina's orgasm as long as she could before she eventually pulled her fingers out, licking them clean of Regina's juices. She laid next to Regina as she watched her recover, drawing small circles on the skin of Regina's abdomen, noticing that her skin was still a cold temperature.

"Your turn," Regina suddenly pushed Emma onto her back, straddling Emma's hips, already running her fingers through Emma's soaking wet folds. "You're soaking wet," Regina moaned, causing Emma to nearly climax right there.

"That's because you're incredible," Emma moaned as Regina inserted a finger deep into her.

Regina didn't waste any time in adding a second finger, instantly finding Emma's g-spot.

It didn't take long for Emma's first orgasm to rip through her body, but Regina wasn't finished with her just yet.

"My turn," Regina whispered, shifting down toward Emma's core until her mouth hovered over Emma's clit.

She pulled her fingers out from their previous location deep inside Emma just long enough to take her first taste of her lover. She wrapped her lips around Emma's clit as she slowly returned her fingers into Emma, slowing their movements the second time around, drawing out Emma's pleasure. Her first orgasm came so quickly and Regina wanted to make sure Emma enjoyed every moment of her second.

Regina thrust her fingers into Emma slowly as her lips found Emma's clit, sucking gently. Emma tried everything in her power to stop herself from thrusting her hips into Regina's face, but the more Regina sucked and licked her clit, the more imposible it was for Emma to stay still. Regina flicked her tongue over the bundle of nerves as her fingertips began to caress Emma's G-spot, causing her to scream out words that sounded like gibberish, her mind too fuzzy to formulate real words.

Regina brought Emma over the edge a few moments later, screaming Regina's name as her orgasm crashed through her, leaving her a twitching mess. Regina crawled up her body, leaving soft kisses in her wake before collapsing next to Emma, both suddenly exhausted.

"That was incredible," Regina whispered as she wrapped her arms around Emma, her warm body feeling even hotter against her still-cool skin.

"You're incredible," Emma whispered, kissing Regina's forehead.

"It's been a really long time since I was…with…someone before you," Regina said, knowing she was ruining the mood. "Was I alright?"

"Regina, are you kidding me?" Emma said, snapping her head up suddenly, startling Regina slightly. Regina looked at her shyly, indicating she was serious. "Regina, I can't feel my feet right now. No one has ever made me lose feeling in my feet before."

"Really?" Regina asked, a shy smile spreading across her face.

"Really." Emma smiled. "I wouldn't lie to you. You really are incredible."

"You're not half bad yourself." Regina chuckled. "I'm pretty sure the neighbors are going to call the cops on us for making too much noise."

"Let them arrest us." Emma laughed, pulling Regina in for a deep kiss.

"Tonight was perfect," Regina whispered as she stood at the door a little while later, now fully dressed and saying goodnight to Emma. "Thank you." Emma rolled her eyes jokingly, accepting the fact that she will never convince Regina to stop thanking her.

"It was my pleasure." Emma smiled, kissing Regina sweetly. "I'll call you tomorrow night," she said, trying to delay the inevitable.

"Yes, please," Regina said, reluctantly pulling her hand away from Emma's. "And please text me when you get home," she added, already worried about her lover.

"I promise." Emma smiled, turning and slowly walking down the hall toward the stairwell.

Once again, as she passed under Regina's window she looked up, seeing Regina peeking out from behind her thick curtains, blowing her one last kiss before disappearing back into her apartment to wait for Emma's text.
