Introduction

Greetings fellow survivors!

I usually don't do introductions like this for stories, but there are some things that I wanted to set straight or clarify or what else is needed. I have loved Ark ever since I got it back in 2019. Yeah. I know. I didn't know this was a game until I saw Neebs Gaming playing and I was shocked that there was a dinosaur survival game out there. I also didn't have a proper PC or laptop that could handle it. That changed and I was neck deep into taming Parasaurs and running from Raptors. I also became fascinated by the explorer notes that one could find littered across the story maps. So I wanted to know what the heck was going on. That's when I found Neddy the Nerdy Noodle, the Trilobite loving Lore Master of Ark. So much made sense… and also some confusion.

Why am I mentioning this?

Well it's because I know that some people will be familiar with the lore of Ark and how gameplay works. So some parts of the story that I am crafting may vary from how the game works. I am trying to stick to the established lore, but of course some of it may vary due to artistic license and my own head cannon. But I really want to stick to the lore as much as possible.

Also a warning: There will be some strong language used, but kept to a minimum or implied.

This is going to be a long project.
