April 2018:
Today is the day that Satoru and I decided to go to town hall and sign the marriage papers. We decided not to do anything huge since we didn't want word spreading of our relationship and the baby. I've never been more excited for anything in my life.
"Ready, miss Suzuki?" He asks as Ijichi pulls up to town hall.
"Ready mister Gojo." I tell him.
Satoru gets out of the car quickly and runs to my side and opens the door for me. He holds my hand as I step out of the car.
"We'll call you when we're done. Stay close." Satoru tells Ijichi.
"Yes sir." Ijichi says nervously.
We decided to wear hoodies to this so we wouldn't be seen by prying eyes. Satoru has his infinity up with his darker sunglasses on and I wear a coat to hide the more prominent baby bump i've gained. We'll learn the gender soon actually. We set an appointment up for a week from now. Satoru and I are beyond excited to finally decorate the spare bedroom for the baby properly.
We run up the steps and into the building hand in hand. I can practically feel Satoru vibrating with excitement. Since he asked me to marry him we haven't stopped talking about it.
We go in and the process for filling out the papers was kind of slow, but fun nevertheless. Obviously I took Satoru's surname and once we signed the paperwork, I was officially a Gojo. Satoru smiles wide as we take our papers and we walk out with his arm over my shoulders. He holds me tight and we walk out to the street and Satoru calls Ijichi.
"Well, how do you feel miss Gojo?" He asks me placing a gentle kiss on my lips.
I smile against his lips and pull away, "amazing mister Gojo." I tell him happily.
Ijichi pulls up and Satoru opens the car door for me. I get in the car and he runs around to the other side and gets in too. He wraps his arm around my shoulder and places his other hand on my stomach.
"Take us home please." Satoru tells Ijichi.
"Yes sir." Ijichi answers.
"Ijichi." Satoru says seriously.
"Yes sir?" Ijichi asks.
"No one will know of this. Understand?" He says looking out the window.
"Yes sir, understood." Ijichi answers.
"Good, can't have my girls being targeted now can we?" He says looking at Ijichi in the mirror.
"No sir, that'd be very very bad." Ijichi answers nervously.
"Girls?" I ask smiling at him.
"Yeah, I'm starting to wonder if we'll have a girl. Might be kinda nice actually, if she turned out very sweet like you." He says smiling sweetly.
"So you want a girl?" I ask.
"Well, maybe. Of course I'm beyond happy either way. I really don't care as long as our baby is healthy, but for some reason I'm thinking we may have a little girl on our hands." He says smirking.
I chuckle, "I don't know if you can handle two of us."
He scoffs, "yeah, two dorks under one roof. Gotta keep my guard up always for those antics of yours." He says.
"I only messed with the alexa one time." I say teasingly.
"No, not messed with. You changed the language and then I couldn't figure out to change it back for a week. And don't even get me started on my computer screen." He says jokingly.
I laugh, "oh yeah, that was awesome. You did everything at work upside down and times 150% for weeks."
He tickles me, "yeah, you think that's funny? Why don't you laugh some more huh?" He says laughing too.
I laugh against my will as he tickles me relentlessly.
"C'mon Naomi Gojo, what's the magic word?" He says as he tickles me.
"Okay okay, please Satoru!" I say as I laugh hard.
He stops and smirks as he pulls me in close and kisses the top of my head, "there, I'd say I got my revenge."
I roll my eyes.
We pull up to Jujutsu high and get out of the car, thanking Ijichi as we head home. Once we get inside Satoru kisses me hard as he slams the door. He picks me up and puts me against the wall as he kisses me hungrily.
"I love you Naomi Gojo." He says desperately.
"And I love you Satoru Gojo." I say smiling.
"God, I love hearing my surname on you." He says in a low tone.
I smile, "yeah? Show me how much you love it." I dare him.
He kisses me fiercely in response and carries me to the bedroom. My shirt and his end up on the floor somewhere along the way but we don't care. He takes me to our bed and sets me down, pushing me into a laying position. He bends down to kiss me and then unbuckles his pants. I help him take them off and then he goes for mine.
We carry on well into the day. My new name being muttered from his lips in low tones sends shivers up my spine. I need him more than anything, and he needs me just as much. Nothing is left unsaid or undone.
When it's all said and done, we just lay in each other's arms, smiling from today's big event. He rubs my arm and I slowly start to fall asleep. I've never been more happy in my life, and it's all thanks to him.

The next day Satoru and I wake up to our alarm and get ready for classes. Except this time, it's Megumi's promotion day. Nanami is going to be taking him out in the field and observing his fight between him and a second grade curse. If he meets or succeeds Nanami's expectations, he'll be promoted.
We walk out the door and walk to Megumi's room. He's talking with Nanami and they stop as they see us approach.
"Gojo, Suzuki, how are you both?" Nanami asks cordially.
"Actually, we're both Gojo now. Just made it official yesterday." Satoru says proudly.
I blush but smile happily.
"Oh, well congratulations. And your child?" Nanami asks.
"Doing great so far. Still stealing a lot of my cursed energy but he seems okay." I tell him.
"She." Satoru tries to correct.
"Very well. That's good to hear." Nanami says before I can respond.
"When do you know the gender?" Megumi asks curiously.
"First ultrasound and gender reveal is next week." I tell him.
"Awe, is Megumi excited to know if he has a little brother or sister?" Satoru says teasingly.
"Tsk, whatever Gojo. Just wanna know if i'll have two of you to deal with." Megumi says looking away.
"Suure, whatever you say Megumi." Satoru says.
"Don't worry, you'll be the first to know Megumi." I say.
He nods, "thanks."
"Well, are you ready Megumi?" Nanami asks uninterested in the conversation a minute ago.
"Yeah, let's do this." Megumi says.
"Right, let's go then. Gojo, I'll call you as soon as it's done. You'll know by tonight or tomorrow morning, but I will inform you now, I will not work overtime for this. The report will be given by close of business tonight or tomorrow." Nanami says robotically.
"Right, fine. Take care of him yeah?" Satoru says.
"I assure you his safety is my first priority." Nanami says, "Megumi, let's go."
"Megumi, please be careful." I say as he walks away.
"He'll be fine Naomi. C'mon, let's go home and rest for a bit." He tells me.
I sigh, "alright."
We walk back home and I sit on the couch not sure what to do with myself. I'm so anxious to know how it goes with him. I know he'll do perfectly fine, I just worry still.
"Hey." Satoru says as he leans on the wall looking at me with a smirk, "why don't we go watch a movie? Like old times?" He says.
I chuckle sadly, "I don't know. It just isn't the same.."
"Awe c'mon, let's get out of the apartment for once. I know you're bored as hell just going to work and coming back. And, in about a week you won't even be able to do that nearly as much." He says.
I sigh, "alright."
"Sweet! I'll call Shoko." He says pulling his phone out.
"I don't know, you sure Shoko would even want to?" I ask him.
"Yeah, she'll be down. C'mon, it'll be fun!" He says excitedly.
Suddenly i'm reminded of the first few days I knew Satoru. He begged me just like he is now to come watch movies with them. I'm glad I did, because if I hadn't, maybe we would have never become friends.
I smirk, "alright. Let's do it."
But he's already on the phone calling Shoko, "hmm? Say something?"
I roll my eyes and throw a pillow at him. He laughs and waits for Shoko to answer.
———
Satoru and I are sitting in the basement waiting for Shoko. We decide on a movie i've never seen called 'Terminator'. Everyone looks at me weird when I tell them i've never seen it.
"We're watching it." Satoru says determined.
I chuckle, "okay, I'm tired of everyone looking at me weird anyways."
He smirks and looks at me, "it's a classic."
"Well they wouldn't let me watch movies at the orphanage." I tell him.
"I know, and now it's our duty to culture you." He says.
As Satoru gets up and pops the popcorn, Shoko walks through the door. She walks over to us and sits in her beanbag chair. Suguru's was moved to the corner years ago.
"What are we watching?"she asks.
"Terminator, Naomi hasn't seen it yet." Satoru says smugly.
"What? You've never seen Terminator?" She asks almost outraged.
"Yeah, I've never seen a lot of movies remember?" I say.
"Oh yeah, right. Well yeah, let's watch it." She says.
Half way through the movie Shoko slaps me on the arm and I look at her confused.
"Your mouth was open. Gotta close it or you'll catch flies." She says.
"Shut up." I say rolling my eyes.
Satoru and Shoko both laugh and we continue to watch the movie.
I've never been more invested in a movie before. It was the perfect amount of story and action. I can see why it's a classic. I can't believe we didn't watch this way earlier. When it ends, i'm disappointed.
"Man, that was a great movie. I wish there was more to it though." I say.
"There is." Satoru says.
"What?!" I say excitedly.
"Yup. There's a Terminator 2." He tells me.
"It's the better one in my opinion." Shoko says.
"We have to watch it." I say.
Shoko looks at the time and sighs, "maybe next time. We should head to bed for now. It's almost eleven."
I sigh disappointed, "rats." I say.
"Rats? What are you 90?" Satoru says teasingly.
I slap him on the arm as he laughs.
"How about this, we'll make movie night regular again. Movie Monday?" Shoko says.
I nod and smile, "yeah, movie monday."
We clean the basement up and say our goodbyes. I'm glad we settled on movie monday. I miss doing stuff other than just teaching, and after next week I'll have to be locked away. It's for our safety and I understand, but I'm going to really be thankful for my friends. I'm dreading isolation. But maybe it can change after the baby is born. Maybe Yaga will change his mind and let us go out more. We'll see if Satoru will agree with that, but still, maybe one day I can show off Satoru and I's best creation yet. Baby Gojo.
As we walk back, Satoru gets a call on the phone. I look at him anxiously as he stops and smiles at me. He says goodbye and puts his phone back in his pocket.
"It's official, Megumi is a Second Grade Sorcerer."
