"Sukuna!" Yuji shouted as he shot up and looked around alert, after calming down he found himself sitting in a bed in a room that looked like an infirmary. "What happened? Where am I?" he questioned himself but to his surprise someone answered him, "You passed out after your fight with that big ass shikigami, the blind bastard took you to our temporary base which you're currently in." Maki explained leaning against a wall near him. "Maki?" he looked at the girl and noticed that she had some bandages wrapped around her body and face, "Welcome back to the land of the living. You've been out cold for three days." The second year said as she went and sat down on the boy's bed, "That long?" Yuji stated surprised getting a nod.

The two went silent as an awkward atmosphere washed over them, Yuji chuckled nervously thinking of what to say, "So-." "Did you mean it?" Maki cut the boy off surprising him. "Mean what?" he questioned confused, the girl glanced at him for a moment before a faint blush appeared on her face, "...The thing you said before you fought Mahoraga, did you mean it?" Maki asked again although this time with some shyness lingering in her voice. The boy sat there thinking back to the moment to see what words she meant, "I love you." Figuring out that is what she meant the boy blushes and laughed awkwardly as he looked around the room so he wouldn't meet Maki's eyes which lead the two to go silent again as the boy tried to figure out what to say. After a minute he sighed and scratched the back of his head, "Yeah." Yuji sighed as he waited to see what will happen.

"I see." Was the only thing the girl said as she looked out the window of the room thinking to himself, "Maki I understand if you don't feel the same way, just forget you-." "Me too." She cut the first year off again surprising him a bit. "What?" "Me too." She repeated as she turned to face the boy who tilt his head confused. "Elaborate." Yuji said wanting further insight to what she meant, "I kinda feel the same way about you I guess." She said shyer than before her blush growing. "O-oh." He stuttered as he looked down at his sheets his blush matching her's. "Hey Yu..ji?" Gojo burst through the door with a grin but he stopped and looked at the blushing teens confused, "Did I interrupt something?" the teacher asked to which Maki immediately stood up, "Nope! I was just leaving." She shouted before she ran out of the room which caused Gojo to chuckle, "Well that's a new one from Maki."

"So whatcha need sensei?" Yuji asked after calming down, Gojo grinned and grabbed a chair and sat down next to the boy's bed, "Well you see my dear Yuji, were going to fight Sukuna in about a month and during that time were going to train." The teacher explained making the boy think, "How many fingers do you think he's going to be at?" Yuji asked in wonder. "I'd say 19." "19? Not 20?" the teen asked confused, "Let's just say, his last finger is somewhere he won't ever find it to his cap will be 19." Gojo explained getting a nod in return. "Rest up and we'll start training with everyone else tomorrow." The teacher expended before he ruffled Yuji's hair as they started talking about something else

Yuji, Gojo, Yuta, Hakari, Maki and Choso were in the training area of their base, ready to start their month-long training. "Alright, looks like everyone is here." Gojo said looking at the others with a nod of approval, "If some of you haven't already heart, we're going to face off against Sukuna in a month's time. I'll go against him first and hopefully I can win but if I don't you guys will take my place." The teacher explained to which the group nodded to. "Yuji, during your fight with Mahoraga you did something to help you defeat it. What was that exactly?" the man asked as everyone turned to Yuji who shrugged a bit, "That was my Maximum Technique." The first year said making some people raise their eye brows confused.

"Maximum Technique?" Hakari questioned causing the pink haired boy to explain, "Maximum Techniques are the other ultimate move of Jujutsu, second only to Domain Expansions. It's like using your cursed technique to it's at most, best, the end all be all of your technique ya know." Yuji explained as best he could, making the others nod. "So what's your Maximum Technique?" Yuta asked making the first-year step back a bit away from the group, "Inyo." Yuji said as said weapon appeared in his hand, radiating with energy. "It's the combination of all the weapons I've copied throughout the months into one, with all their abilities and cursed techniques, i.e the Inverted Spear of Heaven, and both positive and negative cursed energy mixed into it." The boy continued to explain what his Maximum was, god smacking everyone.

"That's pretty damn powerful." Maki muttered, humming in surprise, "Can you use it more than once?" Gojo asked his student, rubbing his chin in interest. "Yeah. If my guess is right, I might be able to do it 2 more times but after that, my reserves will be almost depleted." Yuji said making the teacher nod slowly. "High cost for high reward. That will definitely be useful during the fight." The Tokyo teacher hummed with a small smirk. "Alright, let's start with our training. All of you against me." Gojo said with his normal grin making everyone look at each other before nodding as they all rushed the man.

The students groaned in pain as they sat in the base's common room, right after their first training lesson with Gojo. "Everything hurts." Yuji whimpered as he slumped down the couch with multiple ice packets on his body. "That blind bastard is a slave trader." Maki grunted out, next to Yuji in the same situation. The others groaned in agreement. "Aww come on guys, it wasn't that bad." Gojo said as he approached the group making everyone glare at him. "You will pay, sensei." Hakari said with a huff, "Sleep with one eye open." Yuta said holding his ring very close.

"Shush shush my cute students. So do you guys have a grasp on what you have to work on this coming month?" Gojo asked the group, getting a tired nod. "Alright that's good, so he's the plan I have, Hakari and Choso can go fight Sukuna's lackey. In case I lose, Yuta, Maki and Yuji will take my place in fighting against Sukuna." The Tokyo teacher explained to the group getting another nod. "...Do you really think that you'll loss, Sensei?" Yuji asked the man, concerned. This caused Gojo to keep quiet for a while, "Who knows really." The teacher shrugged nonchalant causing the group to stare at him blankly for a few minutes before shaking their heads amused. "Never change, Sensei. Never change." Yuta hummed amused as they went over further plans.

Yuji laid down on the base roof, staring up at the night sky thinking about something. His ears picked up someone walking towards him and laying down next to him, "...So this is where you've been hiding huh?" Maki chuckled lightly while she also looked at the star filled sky. "I wasn't really hiding, just come here to think and stuff ya know." Yuji replied with his own chuckle. They stayed silent as they kept looking at the stars until Maki decided to break it, "What were you thinking about?" she asked making the boy stay silent and think before answering, "...About you." He admitted making the girl blush slightly. "I see."

"Uh what about me where you thinking about?" Maki asked after some more silence, "Where to go from here ya know. I know we both love each other and stuff but you know." He sighs and shrugs a bit, his mind in a jumble. Maki hummed a bit and turned her head towards him and cupped his cheek, also making him turn his head to her as they stared at each other in the eyes, "Don't know if anyone told you this but you have beautiful eyes." Yuji blurted as he was mesmerized with the girl, golden eyes. Maki blushed a bit more and smiled a bit, "You're the first one to say that... Thanks. Yours are also quite nice." She retorted which made the boy smile.

"...This is my first time experiencing something like this." Maki muttered lowly, her eyes never leaving Yuji's, "Same..." Yuji muttered back, slowly leaning closer. "...What if I'm not perfect for you?" the girl asked also starting to lean closer, "You don't need to be perfect..." He answered as he also cupped her cheek. "...What if I mess up?" she asked again, "We'll work through it together when it happens..." he answered as now their faces were only inches. He stopped and shakes his head a bit amused before smiling, "Hey Maki..." "Hm?" the girl hummed a bit confused, "...I love you." Yuji said almost in a whisper, "...I love you too." Maki said in the same tone as they leaned in further and shared a tender but emotion filled kiss.

Two sorcerers stood in the destroyed area which was once known of Shinjuku, the area had turned into a battlefield where the strongest sorcerer of History, Ryomen Sukuna faced off against the strongest sorcerer of the current era, Satoru Gojo. Both sorcerers where heavily injured but unlike Sukuna, Gojo was quickly healing his injuries using RCT, "An unlimited 'Purple' not bound by any specific target that it even hit me but sure enough, there's a difference in damage." Gojo explained his previous Hollow Purple technique that had caused such damage to the sorcerers and the area, "I guess my cursed energy pool really is just that huge. Welp, all's well that ends well. I totally crushed the improv with that remote Purple, don'tcha think?" the limitless user asked his opponent as he was now fully healed. It clearly looked like Satoru Gojo's win but what the man didn't see was the small smirk that Sukana had plastered on his face but one person did. Sukuna made a silent Binding Vow as he looked at Gojo and sent his new and ultimate slash.

Everything seemed to freeze and go quiet as someone landed in front of Gojo, his voice seemingly filling the whole area, "Maximum: Inyo." The person called out, a purple katana appeared in his hand as he did a quick downward slash which met the King of Curses's attack head on and swiftly cut through it, causing a semi powerful shockwave as the attack was stopped completely. "You could've died with that one sensei." The boy said as he stood up and rested his sword over his shoulder as he slightly turned to his teacher. Gojo and Sukuna stared shocked for a moment before a vicious grin appeared on the healing Sukuna's face while Gojo chuckled, "What would I do without, huh Yuji?" the teacher asked causing the first year to grin. "I think it's time for you to tap out sensei, let us have a crack at him." Yuji said as Yuta, Maki and surprisingly Higuruma and Kashimo appeared next to him.

Gojo looked at them in mild awe before reluctantly nodding and scratching the back of his neck, "Ugh fine fine." The teacher waved as he turned around but before he could disappear he looked back over at the small group, mostly his students, with a soft smile, "...Don't die out there." He said as he teleported away which caused Yuji to chuckle as the Soul Splitting Katana appeared in his other hand as he fully turned to Sukuna, "Wouldn't dream of it."

A/N: Apologies for the late and short chapter. I didn't really know what to put in this chapter before the start of the final fight with Sukuna. However since we're here now, I'm going to work my darnest to make sure to end this fic with a bang
