This chapter didn't take long to come out, I've actually been pretty inspired to write but sadly I've been so lightheaded and dizzy that I haven't been able to sit up for too long lately. Don't worry, it's just the flu nothing too serious, maybe some low iron too but other than that I'm fine.

There aren't any reviews with questions this time so how about we get right into the story?

Crystal happily chatted with Cedric during dinner, he introduced her to the first years that had already been sorted into Hufflepuff the first day. She met Susan Bones and Hannah Abbot, she found Susan to be nice and Hannah was okay.

She learned that Susan Bones's Aunt was Amelia Bones the head of the DMLE, she also learned that Hannah and Susan were best friends and had since they were toddlers.

Soon enough the feast was over she and the other newly sorted first-years were led to the Hufflepuff common room and shown the secret to getting in. Crystal didn't feel like getting soaked in Vinegar so she made sure to commit the password to memory. She watched carefully as Cedric tapped on different barrols to the tune of 'Helga Hufflepuff', when he was done he took one step back and the barrols moved to show an entrance into the common room.

Crystal looked around the room as the group walked in. There was a fireplace up against the left wall with a big fuzzy yellow carpet in front of it. She assumed that magic was involved in making sure the carpet didn't catch fire, She could already imagine days of sitting in front of the fire soaking up its heat for her fire core.

There was a low coffee table on the edge of the carpet, it was a dark brown wood of some kind. Black couches surrounded it, there were also black loveseats and chairs around the room. The walls were a light yellow, it wasn't too light to be white but it wasn't a bright yellow that assaulted your eyes when you saw it.

There were bookshelves and a few tables in one corner of the room, Cedric saw her looking at them and smiled, "That's the study corner, it's surrounded by a silencing charm so the noise of the common room doesn't affect those who are using it."

Crystal smiled at him, "Thanks Cedric, the corner sounds like an awesome idea, I wonder if the other houses have something simmilar?"

Cedric shrugged, "I know the Ravenclaws and Griffindors don't, I get why the Griffindors don't have a corner like that they don't really like sitting down and studying like that but you would expect the Ravenclaws to have them."

"Have you mentioned the corner to Professor Flitwick, He might want to add it to the Ravenclaw common room?"

"No, but that's a good idea Crystal thanks, I'll mention it to him tomorrow after classes are done," Cedric smiled at her before pointing to a staircase.

"That's the girls dormrooms, yours is the first door you see, the one with the number one on it, Boys can't get up there just like girls can't get up into the boys dorms."

Crystal at the mention of the dorms let out a yawn which caused Cedric to laugh, "How about you head on up to bed little Gem, I'll be in the common room for a bit longer if you need something okay?"

Crystal didn't take any notice of the nickname, she just nodded and walked up the stairs. Cedric was right when he told her the first-year dorms would be behind the first door she saw.

She just walked in and collapsed into the bed that had her trunk at the foot of it. She didn't bother changing as she fell asleep the moment her head hit the pillow.

She woke a few hours later, she glanced over at each of her roommates and smiled when she saw that they were all asleep. She quietly got out of bed and shuffled her way to the bathroom, looking around she was relieved that there were no portraits in the room with her.

If there had been portraits in the bathrooms here then Crystal would have complained. The students deserve privacy when they're going bathroom or taking a shower.

Crystal double-checked the room to make sure no one was watching her before she relaxed. Within moments the room lit up in a flash as Crystal transformed. She sighed in relief as she felt the transformation wash over her, she was used to transforming every night to go fight crime, ever since she came here she hadn't found a place she could go ghost without anyone watching.

She smiled and jumped into the air holding back a whoop of joy as she felt her feet leave the ground. Her smile turned into a smirk as she turned invisible and transparent, this was the perfect way to explore the school in her own way.

As long as she stayed invisible then no one, no portraits or other ghosts would be able to see her. She spent the next few hours exploring the school, she found several hidden passageways that she could use to help her get to classes more easily.

Soon enough she was exploring the third-floor corridor, she was having fun when she phased into one of the rooms and felt her eyes widen as she stared at a chained-up three-headed dog, the poor thing looked cramped in the small room.

The big guy looked starving as well, she couldn't believe that someone would treat such an amazing creature the way they were treating this guy.

Her eyes narrowed before she shot out of the room and down to the kitchens she found earlier that night, she normally wouldn't do this but she stole six big steaks. She shot back to the room holding the three-headed dog and let herself become visible so the dog could see her.

At first, the three heads started snarling and growling at her but she held up one hand to show it was okay, her other hand picked up one of the steaks and held it up for the three heads to see.

"It's okay you three, I'm a friend I just want to help," Crystal made sure her voice was calm and soothing, she kept talking to the three heads softly as she made sure each head got two steaks.

After the three-headed dog was fed it allowed Cyrstal to pet it, the fur was super soft. She noticed he had a collar on with a tag, she took a closer look and saw that it had Fluffy engraved in it.

"Is your name fluffy?" Crystal asked and laughed when the three heads started barking happily in response, "Oh of course it is, such a handsome name for a handsome hellhound, who's my three good boys, you are, you are!"

Crystal spent the next hour smothering Fluffy in love and attention but soon enough she had to leave before anyone realized she was gone. Fluffy whined when Crystal backed up and she reassured him she would be back with food later that night but she had to go for now.

It broke her half-dead heart to leave that poor dog cooped up but she didn't know where she could take him and he had an owner around here somewhere. If she ever found out who owned him she would give them a piece of her mind for keeping the poor thing cooped up and starved like that.

She made her way back to the Hufflepuff's bathroom, she made sure no one was awake or in the bathroom before she transformed back into her human self. She sighed when she felt her ability to fly disappear, she swore that one day she would learn how to fly as a human.

She knew magicals used brooms to fly but she wanted to fly without a tool, until she could figure out how to do that she would have to settle for the brooms.

She walked back into the dorm room she was sharing with the other first-year girls and grabbed a clean uniform from her trunk before she went back to the bathroom and took a shower. She made sure to clean up so no one smelled dog on her, she had a feeling that if anyone found out she had been near Fluffy she would get in trouble.

She dried off and got dressed quickly before anyone else had a chance to come in, she didn't want anyone to see the scars that covered her body. Some of the scars were from the Dursleys but a decent amount of scars were from her fighting crime at night.

She didn't want to answer any awkward questions that people would have if they saw her scars. She hid a lot of her scars from Dudley because she knew if he was aware of how many scars she got from fighting crime he would freak out.

She left the bathroom and then walked down to the common room and went over to the study corner to read a few of her school books, she wanted to have them fresh in her mind when classes started up again.

She was pleasantly surprised when she felt how comfortable the chairs were, she felt herself sink into the cushions of the seat she had chosen and spent the rest of the morning until others came down reading.

She looked up surprised when she felt someone tap her on the shoulder, she smiled when she saw that it was just Cedric, she closed her book before putting it back in her bag, and stood up, following Cedric out of the silencing charm.

"How long have you been down here Cyrstal, did you sleep at all?" Cedric asked in worry making Crystal feel bad. She didn't mean to make her friend worry about her.

"I haven't been down long, don't worry, I got plenty of sleep last night." She replied making Cedric relax and chuckle, "I'm used to getting up early so I decided to come down here and read a bit so I didn't wake my dormmates up."

Cedric ruffled her hair with a chuckle, "Bet you were excited too, we get our schedules and start classes today."

Crystal smiled, "Okay that was part of it, can you show me to the great hall? I was so tired last night I didn't pay attention on how to get there from here."

Cedric laughed before nodding, "Yeah, come on lets get some breakfast."

He led Crystal out of the common room right as the other first-year girls walked down and Crystal gestured for them to join the two on their way to the great hall.

Susan rushed over while Hannah stayed with Megan Jones their other dormmate. Crystal figured that the two girls were probably waiting for the first-year boys and would be down with one of the prefects soon.

Crystal spent the walk to the great hall chatting with Susan, She was curious about muggle ghosts, turns out she had heard Cedric talking about them with the Weasley twins and wanted to know more herself.

Crystal was happy to tell her what she knew about muggle ghosts, she could see the disbelief in Susan's eyes when she heard what these ghosts were like but Crystal didn't worry, she knew that it was hard to believe.

Hell, if she hadn't been brought on vacation with the Dursleys to Amity Park then she probably wouldn't believe someone telling her about this sorta stuff either.

Susan set next to her at the Hufflepuff table and continued quizzing Crystal on muggle ghosts.

Cedric turned to Crystal, "Wait I just realized, does this mean Muggles are aware that ghosts exist, Isn't that a breach of the statue of secrecy?"

Cyrstal turned to him and shrugged, "I mean, the ghosts they know of are muggle ghosts, not magical ghosts so no I don't believe so, even if it was what would you do, erase the memories of every single person in the world? Good luck with that."

Susan frowned at the table, "I'm going to have to write to my aunt about this, maybe she'll know more?"

Crystal bit her lip, she might regret this but if the Dursleys hadn't realized she was the ghost girl and if the Fentons never realized that their son was the ghost boy then it should be safe.

"There's a few ghosts who go around fighting crime, one in amity park takes care of rouge ghosts who come to the human realm to cause trouble and there's one england who fights human criminals."

Susan turned to look at her with wide eyes, "What are their names?"

Crystal smiled and replied, "The one in amity park is named Danny Phantom, ironic since the local ghost hunters son goes by Danny Fenton."

"The ghost girls name though, I've heard she goes by Saphire Phantom, guess she's related to the ghost boy somehow." Crystal said as she shrugged, hiding her smile.

She was so glad she decided to go with a name that wasn't her actual name, unlike Danny. She was still baffled that no one had made the connection that Danny Phantom was Danny Fenton.

It was insane.
