Chapter 50
The Hardened Rose
When dawn arrived everyone got ready on a cruise ship, mainly to give Jack a break, and also for the fact that he wasn't allowed in THIS region of China for a plethora of reasons. So on the cruise ship Kiralexia was in all honesty even more of a nervous wreck. Everyone saw him spacing out, tapping his feet on the floor rapidly or muttering to himself. At one point he decided to rest on the deck and Ashido saw him leaning on the railing looking out to the sea. She came up to him and he jolted a bit seeing her come up from behind him.
"Oh sis, gods above you scared me."
"Sorry but, are you okay? You seem, out of it."
"What gave you that idea? The fact that I have been on edge ALL DAY?"
"Pretty much, tapping your feet muttering. Why has the thought of reuniting with Rose Dawn scaring you so much?" Ashido asked with Kiralexia just staring at her.
He knew his reasons were silly, yet his mind could not stop with the tricks. His fears, his despair all irrational yet unstoppable to end. With a few seconds to think of an answer he sighed and gave his answer.
"I love Rose Dawn that is no real secret but… I fear her reaction to my return, emotions for many Militia members were, tricky."
"How so?"
"Well my brother, was always closed off with his emotions rarely did he open up to either me or anyone. Most of the time those that tried getting close to him, gain only a hate filled glare and verbal lashing." Kiralexia answered off topic with Ashido suddenly confused.
"Why?"
"Eh I believe he should answer that in full BUT, for my end, let's just say insults and harassment DON'T MIX."
"Oh… well besides that, why is Rose Dawn your biggest concern."
"I know it's silly to think of but I fear I may not be good enough again. I left her for six years without a single word, we may have made an oath but-"
"Wait wait wait. Oath, what oath?" Ashido asked with Kiralexia realizing he never explained such things.
"Oh right well I'd say a week before the battle of the Emerald Harbor, Rose Dawn and I made an oath. We both swore to not break no matter how long it may be nor the temptations. We both swore to never find another at least permanent partner till the time of my return."
"If that's the case why worry."
"Because six years is long for any mortal person, she most likely has moved on and found another. If not her rage mixed with sorrow at the sight of THIS, will not be pleasant." Kiralexia said with a sigh and a sorrowed look in his eyes.
Ashido could tell this was messing with him badly however it was weird. She swore she could sense the deepness in how much pain this was bringing him. It wasn't the first time to, as weeks before she had a premonition so to say on Kiralexia's mood before he even made it into the living room before. Kiralexia was on the verge of tears and Ashido couldn't bear to see him like this. With a sigh she hugged him and gave her own response to all of this.
"Well if anything bad were to happen, we are all here for you. Your friends and family, even I will be by your side." she said with a reassuring tone in her voice.
Kiralexia's eyes widened as he was embraced by her. He didn't know how to react or even what to do. Yet the comfort of her embrace eased his heart and soul, making him feel relief. Tears started to swell in his eyes as he returned the embrace and just began to quietly cry. All the fear and stress melting away as Ashido comforted him. After a few minutes she let him go and he just wiped his eyes from the tears before speaking.
"Thank you Sister I-I needed that. Now let's both get some rest for the morning won't be pleasant." Kiralexia said beginning to move away to the lower decks
"Okay, and hey." Ashido called out with Kiralexia turning to face her. "I'm glad to have you as a brother as strange as that is. This is nice and I can't wait to meet Rose Dawn." She said with a bit of awkwardness to it.
"Heh, thanks now come on let's go." Kiralexia said moving down with Ashido moving as well.
As the morning sun rises among the horizon the group was waking up and getting on deck with there stuff and ready to get on land. When the ship docked they all got ready and moved out with the groups of people leaving. They were on land and looked around in awe. It was a big city in around the northern coast of China, closer to Japan/ Taiwan. No they weren't in Canton, they were in the protectorate of Jaingsu though now larger then the actual province now and in Shanghai. Yes THAT Shanghai, meaning all the group was looking at was a LARGE skyscrapers and massive city. Kiralexia and the other Militia members had already been around such a city before so just looked around with a sense of comfort and nostalgia, the students were in awe. They new of the fame this city had, both Pre-Quirk and post, while population wise not NEARLY as large as the 21st century still boasts around 20.15 Million people. And realizing that they were looking for ONE person this seemed daunting. Kiralexia took in a deep breath and explained why she was here in case it wasn't clear.
"Alright Rose Dawn always wanted to save people and aid them, just without restrictions of Hero law. And Shanghai is nowadays seen as a hotbed for both commerce AND gang activity. So we must look for her in the unseen areas of the city. We must do so quickly or we lost daylight. You know your goals now let's set forth." Kiralexia said pointing to the city in front of him.
Everyone began dispersing but Ashido and Toga stuck around. They both saw Kiralexia's eyes and they seemed to struggle to look at the city. He was here and now fear struck hard as he was breathing a bit heavily.
"Hey are you okay? You can stay here if you like." Ashido offered with Kiralexia jolting turning to face her and chuckled.
"Don't worry I'm fine I can do this." He said with Ashido and Toga moving out with a sense of reassurance. "I'm fine, I'm fine. I'm… I'm ma need a drink right now." Kiralexia then said moving out to the city for the nearest bar.
Thus the search began. Everyone split up looking for this woman. They looked and looked and looked… and hours had passed. Nothing, all they came from it was they found where she lived BUT of course didn't trust it. At least one group did the others just dealt with gangs and other people while they moved through the maze that is Shanghai. Down with a group with Uraraka and Jirou with Bakugou tagging along he got pissed off at how much time they wasted.
"Find the Rose, find the Rose. we'll if that's not the biggest fucking needle in a goddamn haystack I don't know what is."
"We had the tracker with us why not use it."
"I'm not wasting time with someone not in there home again Round face!"
"Just a suggestion. Wait what time is it?" She turn and Jirou pulled her phone out to look.
"Three in the afternoon."
"Oh for FUCK SAKE!" Bakugou screamed out putting his hands on his face getting angrier at the situation. "At this rate we'll be stuck here for DAYS!"
"Well what else cane we do? We just gotta keep looking, she might come up eventually." Jirou said with Bakugou continuing to yell out nonsense.
Yet without any of the three being aware of it, they were seen by someone. They stared at them for a while as they wandered the streets. A noise from across the area, that those three couldn't hear, dragged this person away. Meanwhile other groups were mainly just scouting around hoping for the best. The ones that got the most attention or at least the most to turn and stare where the three villains, who stuck around. Dabi had wandered alone most likely wanting to get away from the heroes, yet they were followed by Toga and Twice. He turned his head to face them and asked.
"Why are you following me?"
"Because we villains stick together. To annoy you of course." Twice answered with Dabi simply looking in front of himself.
"Well you succeeded in one of those fronts."
"Thank you." Twice said with Toga skipping happily as Dabi suddenly realized a question burning in his mind.
"Why did you two leave the League?"
"Isn't it obvious I wasn't safe anymore. Shigaraki would've figured out my father was against him and this All For One, and well… I'd rather NOT think about the consequences."
"And I tagged along. we're like glue." Twice chimed in Dabi nodding at that notion.
"Hm. Best case you survive but are mangled and Kiralexia would've slaughtered the Leagues leadership. Meaning…" Dabi suddenly realized the carnage that could inflict and his life lost and froze before making a quick remark. "Ya'know I think I'm glad you left. Keeps my head on my neck afterall."
"Hey I can't control what my dad would do for me. Hell I didn't even know he was alive till a few months ago."
"You forgot your father? Hell this Militia, you could've joined them instead of the League seeing who your caretaker is."
"Well… I didn't remember where they were, I was always told to keep my eyes close till we got to the headquarters. And I assumed they weren't around anymore." Toga answered sounding more and more sad with each scentence.
Dabi remembered what Kiralexia said. The Villain-Militia war, he was just a young boy then. He didn't see fighting where he was from but he did remember seeing someone. He hid while villains and soldiers fought and saw a man stare at him and went along. The memory still lingered as he made another remark.
"The war against these Mercenaries and All For Ones empire. How odd that we both were young and rarely saw the fighting yet knew it's presence."
"This was a secret war in a sense. Underground and I was still young but I was at least aware of what was happening. The last family I ever saw was my uncle who gave me back to..."
"You REAL parents?"
"DON'T!… Don't call them my parents. They are unfit."
"Oh and Kiralexia was better? He's a machine that imitates life."
"Maybe but… he at least knew how to raise me unlike my… dead parents." Toga said with a bit of venom in her voice. Dabi sighed and realized he couldn't argue.
"Fine whatever you say but now I have to ask. How did THAT happen?"
"What?"
"Kiralexia and you. How did you become family?"
"Well I was out in the park alone and he was there relaxing. He notice me alone and played with me for a while. I cut open a caterpillar."
"That doesn't surprise me."
"Anyways, I did that and he just looked at me with a surprised expression. But he didn't yell at me to 'be normal' instead he simply asked me why I did it. That was when I knew at least subconsciously he was good."
"He didn't yell? Sounds phony."
"Let me finish then. I explained what I could to him on why and he smirked and said 'You are a strange girl but I guess that's true for everyone isn't it?'. He then asked why I was alone and got really upset at that."
"Wait why were alone?"
"Parents left me out of the house so I just went to the park to play. After telling him he just took me to his home and everyone there was shocked and accepting… kinda."
"That's it?"
"Well he did bathe and feed me and I even slept in his bed while he slept on the couch and from then on everyone in the Militia's Elite core were my family."
"Just them?"
"Soldiers remember? They might've liked me but were wary of my. Tendencies." Toga said with Dabi looking at her with a raised eyebrow.
"What you'd shank them or something?"
"NO… maybe, but mainly just stared with excitement at there wounds. One time my uncle accidentally cut himself and-"
"I don't need to hear it. I've learned enough thank you."
"Hmph." Toga puffed out her cheeks annoyed at Dabi's reaction before he suddenly wondered something.
"if Kiralexia was your 'father'. Who was your 'mother'?" Dabi asked but before Toga could answer Twice suddenly chimed in.
"Uh guys?"
"What?"
"Nothing. Look out!' He said with Dabi looking up and seeing someone descend down to him.
He got out of the way but this person was fast and threw a punch in his direction. It missed but put a dent in a nearby garbage can. Dabi then used his flames on the person but it didn't seem to have an affect. He was so shocked he didn't have time to react when the person put them in a choke hold and pinned to a building.
"Thought you could burn me? we'll rock don't burn." The person said with a female voice.
Dabi then noticed the rough skin on there knuckles and sports like gear on them. He then realized rather quickly this was Rose Dawn, side buzz cut on her right side with the rest rough wavy to the side. Her eyes burned with hatred and she was sneering at him. Hell she still looked rather young which honestly is not to surprising being this war happened six years ago but still. He expected someone older.
"Rose Dawn?"
"Ya and I know who you are Dabi. Thought the League could sneak up on me eh? Guess what I'm not falling for it." She said with a venom in her voice.
Dabi in a moment of fear and desperation grabbed Rose Dawn's arm and began to burn it. She didn't react much as she was hardened but would release after rubbing her arm surprised it burnt the way it did. Small charring was on her arm and she felt the heat rising from her arm. She then dodged a fire fist from Dabi and returned it with a rock hard kick to his face. She then grabbed his collar again and looked ready to kill him.
"I'm shocked THAT time actually singed but you won't achieve victory through fire."
"Stop!" Toga yelled with Rose Dawn turning and finally realizing who she was.
"No." She whispered with Dabi only hearing it.
"Don't hurt him we were looking for you but not with the League for… someone else."
"No… no impossible." She said this time a little louder.
Before Toga could convince her to stay she tossed Dabi at the two and ran away. Her face now showing her fears. Why her why now? So many thoughts ran through her mind but one in particular ran loudest. If she's here, is HE as well? She didn't know and didn't want to, as she ran through the streets in shame. Meanwhile back with the three villains they all tried to recollect themselves on just what the fuck happened. Rose Dawn fled from them that much was known but what the hell was that? Dabi was still on the ground as Toga just stared off where she ran away towards.
"She seems nice." Dabi said with a sense of sarcasm.
"be lucky I stopped her. Else you'd be dead by now." Toga retorted with Dabi fully aware of what would've happened.
"I believe that. What was that all about anyways? Besides the obvious."
"We'll with them fleeing due to All For One, my guess is she's aware of the Leagues successor state and… well she just said it. She wasn't going to die by the hands of those who had no part in a war now long gone."
'Huh, better inform Kiralexia of this." Dabi said with Toga agreeing and pulling out a phone and calling Kiralexia.
"Yes Nekoga?"
"Hi dad, we found her but she ran."
"I figured, well the others will surely find her soon enough." Kiralexia said sounding a bit tired. Dabi could tell what was happening, as he could hear Kiralexia clearly.
"Hold on. Are you in a bar?"
"Perhaps why ask?"
"Come on you're better then this aren't you?"
"Real cute YOU'RE pep talking me considering your past." Kiralexia retorted with a disdain in his voice.
"Hey I'm just waiting for my time."
"As am I so please just… just find her for me."
"Are you that scared she'd beat you up? Come on you've handled heavy ammo shots before."
"It's not that it's… me." Kiralexia said in defeat with the three a bit stunned.
"What do you mean dad?"
"I mean what I say. I'm afraid of myself in this whole ordeal. I mean I've been dead for six years to everyone from my past and I have no clues as to what happened to the others other then they fled and left the rest on there own. If I am to return and bring them back what happens next? don't get me started on the fears of love… cruel things those are, the mind tricking you into thinking other things and now… I'd rather drink myself silly then face myself with the Militia." Kiralexia explained.
The three were a bit taken aback. Kiralexia clearly was showing his more broken side to them meaning… this was really affecting him. He seemed broken, and tired, yet also seemed hopeful earlier. Dabi just wanted him to help but Toga knew her father well and knew what to do.
"Okay but stay safe and we'll try to find Rose Dawn." Toga said with a long pause.
"Thanks… now I feel bad but I shall use my own means to help out. Good luck." Kiralexia said before hanging up.
The group then contacted others and now the hunt was really ramping up… well. Slightly, in some areas. With someone like Uraraka leaving to join up with Ashido and just party in a sense. The two ate some Soba and discussed how there groups were going.
"So you said Bakugou just held back when confronted with a mugger?"
"Ya he just punched him in the face and we ran."
"Wow… that doesn't like him."
"RIGHT?! I'm still trying to wrap my head around it."
"Well less wrapping more talking. How have you felt about this… Dabi with us." Ashido asked Uraraka shivering at the thought.
"At first I was afraid he was a League member afterall. But, he's actually pretty sweet."
"Really?"
"Hey Toga is to remember how she helped our nails out?" Uraraka retorted.
"Oh ya, man she has skills."
"Of course but Dabi, he helped me with a homework I brought with me. And even gave me money to pay for something nice as he said."
"You brought homework. Shoot I knew I forgot something."
"Which is why I packed yours with me."
"THANK YOU!" Ashido said hugging Uraraka with gratitude showing in her smile.
After this the two just spoke about minor things, opinions on people, and just this whole adventure. Uraraka never got the chance to leave Japan often due to her families business, while Ashido always got souvenirs from her Uncle and remembers a trip with him towards India. The thoughts made he feel happy and hope they can find him soon. Though she also knew Kirishima's Aunt and while yes they are hunting her she just wanted to enjoy the city with her friends.
"So tell me… what's your feelings for Midoriya?" Ashido asked.
"What? Haven't I already explained we're just friends."
"Ya cause friends get red in the face when they look at them."
"I just get hot."
"Just around Midoriya?"
"No?" Uraraka was becoming more and more red and embarrassed.
"Why are you denying your emotions to him?" Ashido asked with concern in her tone. Uraraka sighed.
"Because I want him to succeed but I want to as well. If I follow my heart we'll both be dragged down. I can't do that to both of us so I shall keep it to myself."
"If that's not the saddest thing to hear." a woman's voice chimed in getting the two girls to turn around.
They then saw Rose Dawn eyes slightly red walk over to the table and order food. The two were puzzled and surprised at her suddenly popping in. she looked like she wanted to be alone and the two didn't feel it appropriate to speak to her now. Yet with what she said Ashido cleared her throat and spoke to Uraraka.
"Well I have to agree, there's no reason to hide your feelings girl. I'm sure Midoriya will still love you." Ashido said with Rose Dawn's eyes widening slightly.
"Did you say… Midoriya? Hisashi Midoriya?" Rose Dawn asked
"Izuku." Uraraka answered a bit shyly.
"Heh, always wished to be a hero. I… I'm sorry for bothering you girls. I assume you're here for me as well?" She asked looking at the two girls.
"Yes but we can ignore that and eat." Ashido said.
Rose Dawn simply sighed at that and ate her noodles in peace. The two girls saw how she stared out and seemed a bit concerned. She was completely broken from whatever happened to her. Then it hit them, she must've seen Toga and gotten frightened. Ashido then warily put her hand on Rose Dawn's back and began to pat it.
"It's okay, I'm sure your daughter's safe here." she said with Rose Dawn tearing up from that.
She then broke down and began to silently cry. She slumped onto the counter and allowed herself to cry. Uraraka also joined with Ashido on reassuring her. Both girls then decided to hug her feeling she needed it. She did and didn't even bother getting them off and just allowed them to embrace her. After some minutes have passed Rose Dawn has calmed down and wipes the tears away.
"Thank you… that means a lot to comfort me." Rose Dawn said quietly.
"So… do you know who we are?" Ashido asked.
"Of course I do, you're the heroes of class 1-A. Even before Kiralexia was reborn I saw the news of the League's first attack." Rose Dawn answered.
"You did?!" Uraraka exclaimed.
"Hard to miss really, and besides… it made me realize how much BOTH of us fucked up in the end." Rose Dawn said sneering a bit. Both of the girls were confused but quickly guessed what she meant.
"You mean All Might and the Militia don't you?" Uraraka asked.
"Yes we failed to weaken All For One enough and All Might was to cowardly to get him when he was weakest. Both of us never realized that All For One could've had a healing quirk." Rose Down sounding defeated.
"That was impossible to figure out before it was to late." Ashido said.
"Is it? If I remember correctly, we in the Militia believed he had a quirk making him more immune to damage." Rose Dawn retorted tears starting to show again.
"Well hey, you aided in his death once, we can help you… kill him again." Uraraka said with a grimace
"If it's even worth it. I live a good life here, no worry of the law and free to save… in my own way." Rose Dawn retorted.
"Don't you want to reunite with your friends? Help people of your birth place?" Uraraka asked with Rose Dawn thinking about it for a bit.
"Friends yes, I always wanted to but… Japan was never kind to me, I was to violent to be a hero." Rose Dawn said sounding like she had venom in her words.
"Explain." Uraraka asked.
"I didn't FULLY agree that a villain is to be apprehended first killed as a last resort. I saw many of my old colleagues die due to such foolish choices."
"So you killed first over subdue?" Ashido chimed in showing worry on her face.
"Surprised? I mean I tried going into UA back in the day but even before they noticed I wasn't… fit, to kill over subdue was my way. Although I would subdue many villains, thieves and the like, just the bigger ones I never understood." Rose Dawn said
"Bigger?" Uraraka asked
"People like Muscular or even Shigaraki, why subdue them when we should execute them instead? Sometimes though… I would kill lower villains, to me I was preventing HIM from more recruits. What I would give to allow All For One and ALL the villains in Tartarus to be executed." Rose Dawn said spitting a bit.
Uraraka and Ashido both understood what she was meaning. Recently with the League it has become… tense. Back in UA those 'factions' that formed thanks to Kiralexia's words, have been more on edge and aggravated since the Militia sent in soldiers to help guard the school. Yet with the League it is hard to tell what there next plan is when rumors are starting to flood of something big going on behind the scene. Why not kill All For One and break them now before they strike? However this was besides that point and both Uraraka and Ashido decided to press on with Kiralexia.
"Regardless why don't you want to reunite with Kiralexia?" Uraraka asked with Rose Dawn laughing.
"Look at me… a coward that runs from danger instead of fight it. I'm certain Kiralexia's better off without me around."
"He's not, he's just as scared as you." Ashido snapped with Rose Dawn looking over and eyebrows slightly raised.
"Heh, of course… our promise together before he disappeared." Rose Dawn said quietly.
"He still loves you, he's just afraid of… well a lot." Ashido said with Rose Dawn nodding.
"I can see why, I mean, I'm happy he's alive but also pissed at him just leaving me like that. Leaving all of us."
"He's making it up, we're finding the old members and reuniting the Militia Elites."
"And I'm next huh?" Rose Dawn asked with Ashido and Uraraka both nodding. With a sigh she took a drink of water and gave he answer. "Where is he?"
Now we cut to Kiralexia in a bar drinking like it's the end of the world. Many patrons there see who he is and are staring, others just look once in a while and go back to there own things. The bartender himself has been keeping a close eye on Kiralexia as he drinks and eats some food. he's prodded him to get answers and now Kiralexia will every now and again speak up and just vent out everything.
"It sucks knowing everyone lived there lives but I was stuck playing tree for six goddamn years!" He said sneering as he did so.
"That doesn't sound comfortable on the ass." the bartender retorted.
"It wasn't. Though that doesn't compare to the feeling of a heart tearing from love."
"If I may ask. Why are you hiding from this woman? Afraid she'll kick you in the nuts?"
"No it's… she has a life I don't. Not anymore."
"I wouldn't say that you were given a second chance. Take this moment to be with her." The bartender said looking out to the door as it's bell rings.
He reacts and turns to Kiralexia who doesn't even lift his head to see. He simple takes another drink and now empties what was left of the bottle into his mug. He requests another bottle which, as much as the bartender doesn't want to, gives him. He knows Kiralexia can handle a large amount of alcohol but still. As he drinks the bartender decides to ask something.
"So, if you grew a pair and met up with her again, what would you say?"
"That I failed? I'm sorry that I left for so long? I don't know where to begin honestly, look at her on the streets she's a beauty beyond compare. A rising sun with the hair of a rose, who is sweet and loving. Yet she can also kick your ass if upset which is something I KNOW I did. However I would understand leaving for six years will seem upsetting. But like I said I don't know where to begin if I see her."
"Then start now." A feminine voice said from the entrance of the bar.
Kiralexia looked over and recognized who it was. Rose Dawn, alongside Ashido and Uraraka were by the door way. He could also see others arriving and just waiting outside the bar. Kiralexia got up and took a step back as he stared at Rose Dawn who just gave stared back. She began to walk towards him and his mind raced with thoughts. He wanted to move but found himself frozen in place. With a sigh Kiralexia decided to speak to her.
"Kureha, look, hate met, love me, at this point it doesn't matter anymore. I was a fool to hide at this moment and a bigger fool taking so long but before anything else I have to say this. I'm sorry, about everything I did." Kiralexia said his eyes watering up.
When Rose Dawn was inches away from Kiralexia's face people thought she'd kiss him. Instead she hardened up and slapped him across the face. The loud metallic clank rang across the bar. Everyone was taken aback but also knew WHY she did this. Kiralexia simply took it without a single retort and looked to see Rose Dawn's face was a mix of pissed and sorrow.
"You idiot. Do you have ANY idea how worried I was when you died? I wanted to come to you when that explosion went off! I thought that I'd never get to see you again." Rose Dawn screamed tears starting to swell. Kiralexia only took it in as Rose Dawn sighed again. "I guess I was right there. Six years, six goddamn years. You disappeared, many thinking you were dead. What… what even happened?"
"All For One crippled me and I self destructed to cripple him in turn. I teleported and turned into a meteor in the night sky that night. I was to injured and became comatose when I landed."
"So that's it huh? Even when you were repaired by one from that blasted school you didn't go hunting?"
"What could I do? I did not know if the Militia was even still in Japan, much less if you guys followed the orders to flee."
"We did but… oh who am I kidding, you did the best as did we. So you've returned and nerves got the better huh?" Rose Dawn asked with Kiralexia looking away shy.
"Ah I'm sorry, the pain we ALL endured from that war. It was not just physical, but emotional. I'm sorry for being such a… a FUCKING COWARD! I should've followed, I should've hunted but I DIDN'T! HATE ME ALL YOU LIKE IT DOESN'T CHANGE THAT I WAS A FOOL TO-" Kiralexia didn't finish before Rose Dawn slapped him again.
"You're not an idiot I WAS! We all were! We thought we could fight and cripple the devil but we were the ones who ended up injured."
"I was the one who suggested it, I was the one who doomed us."
"OH ENOUGH YOU TWO!" Vanelis screamed getting the twos attention. "We were idiots all of us. I a coward, you guys, reckless to fight the… equivalent of the devil and his lackeys. However he's contained and if we are fast enough we can be ready to kill him FOR GOOD this time."
"And how can we trust you won't run again?" Rose Dawn asked with Vanelis looking away and sighing.
"I admit that I was to afraid to fight. BUT I vow to make up for that Kureha, with you and all the others back, we can aid those… heroes to put an end to this."
"You really think that?" Rose Down turned to Kiralexia. "HE really sided with THEM!?" She asked with Kiralexia shrugging at it.
"Moneys money, besides I'm not one to work for the League. Now come on Rose, will you really hide forever or fight and stand for those that cannot do so?" Vanelis asked with Rose Dawn look a bit ashamed.
She had just been criticized for that by Mina and Uraraka. She felt guilt running, guilt for being afraid to fight, guilt. No amount of words can atone for this, but… perhaps she really should return home. This was her birthplace and she was just gonna let it burn, she realized she had to FIGHT. For her home, her friends, her family. With a sigh Kiralexia decided to speak to her to make the final nail.
"If you cannot stand when you return I shall be your legs till you can."
"Such caring words… I, fuck it. I'll fight that bastard again, and THIS TIME, I… no. WE will make sure he's DEAD." Rose Dawn spat with Kiralexia perking up a bit.
"Does this mean?"
"I'll come along, besides, I need to make up for lost time to my precious nephew." Rose Dawn said as Kirishima bursted in. he wasn't listening much as he was to far back and struggled to get in.
"PLEASE COME BACK! I-"
"It's already decided." Kiralexia said before Kirishima could continue.
"Oh… c-cool, I get my manly aunt again."
"Pft." Kiralexia stifled a chuckle while Rose Dawn blushed a bit while flexing a bit. Vanelis just shook his head as he smacked the back of Kirishima's head.
"Jesus boy, calm down." Vanelis said with everyone happy knowing they got Rose Dawn to come with.
Rose Dawn laughed a bit and looked tenderly outside the bar. Kiralexia couldn't help but feel warm as Rose Dawn smiled. He remembered all the good times with her, the scouting missions, fights, relaxing but above all others, when he opened himself to her. She had laughed a bit as he confessed but took him with open arms, and kissed his forehead saying she's always known. He sighed at the memory and noticed how she looked now compared. Her hair a bit longer, new makeup around her face, and scars as well. He walked up to her and saw the images of the young and new combining. She turned to see him put his hand on her cheek, his eyes filled with sorrow.
"I know no amount of words will heal the wound but… do know I've never stopped loving my dawn." Kiralexia said softly with Rose Dawn smirking and blushing.
"And I think we both need this." Rose Dawn said pulling Kiralexia in for a kiss.
The two were in an embrace for a while mouths locked and eyes closed. Kirishima… in fact everyone cheered, for this showed the two still loved and it was not one way. When they stopped Kiralexia and Rose Dawn looked into each others eyes and began to laugh a bit. The joy they felt was more then ever before. With this they let each other go but still held hands, tightly locked together. They would walk out, but Kiralexia payed the bar quickly before leaving. Kiralexia wanted to leave quickly to find the next person HOWEVER, Rose Dawn suggested to just stay for a while. Kiralexia protested but with everyone wanting to stay for at least a day or two here, he relented and accepted.
With that they would stay for a while. However before we can go on with a… certain adventure here, we must return to Japan. When Spinner found that Eternal, he had awaited for him to meet them at there temporary hideout. Shigaraki had a few more villains with him while they waited, acting like body guards. When they would arrive, a deal would be made.
