Bonesborough,Years Later….
The town of Bonesborough was hard at work. 3 years of rebuilding following the day of unity ,the collector and Belos fusing with the titan. Much of the damage had been repaired. The Hexsquad had grown up. Hunter had mastered the art of palisman carving and was a fine tailor. Willow had become a Professional flyer derby player. Amity was an abomination engineer and occasional explorer with her old mentor Lilith. Gus was teaching at Edas University of wild magic. Vee had been welcomed into the boiling Isles
with open arms and found a romantic partner in the human masha. And last but certainly not least Luz Noceda was on her way to studying wild magic at Edas new school. All was well. Luz's friends and family had a secret. They decided to throw her a surprise party for her birthday. But it wasn't just any kind of party. Camila had explained to them the hispanic tradition of the quinceanera. They all felt terrible that Luz had not been able to enjoy this tradition as she had spent her 15th birthday helping to rebuild the
damages caused by Belos. So they decided to make her 18th birthday a belated King-Cenerea. Camla had given lilith a set of instructions on how to throw the party. Hunter had been hard at work making the dress for Luz. The order for a cake had been put in all was set to make this the best party Luz had ever had. All was going to plan except at Blight manor where a certain cotton candied haired goddess was freaking out with her good friend Willow by her side." What am I gonna do? The part is at the end of the
week and I haven't figured out what to get Luz." Amity said, throwing her face into her pillow. "Amity, she is your girlfriend. How did you wait till the last minute to do this?" Willow said. "I got carried away with my abomination tinkering. I thought I had more time. I feel like a lousy girlfriend." Amity said as she began to cry into her pillow. "It's okay Amity, we still have time. What do you want to get for her?" Willow said doing her best to encourage her friend. "That's the issue, I'm not sure what to get her." Amity
said. "Did you try the market?" Willow said. "I did but nothing there screamed Luz. It just screamed." Amity said."Well if you can't find the answer in the demon realm why not try the human realm." Willow said. "I would but the problem is when we go we always hang out with Luz. How am i gonna get her a gift without her finding out." Amity said. "Well we will need a distraction and I know just the two people to help." Willow said as she pulled out the Phone Luz had gifted her a year prior….
Meanwhile at the Noceda Residence…
Luz Noceda was busy at work packing up her belongings. Not only was she getting ready to begin her new life studying wild magic in the demon realm. But the family was moving to a new home. A year prior Camila had saved enough money to buy the old house where the portal was. They had to make sure no unwanted visitors made their way to the demon realm. First the house had to undergo serious renovations. The foundation was in need of serious repair, the plumbing was wrecked, its electrical wiring was
rotted, its insulation had deteriorated and the roof was full of holes. It took much hard work but the house was finally deemed safe to move in. "Hey Vee, can you help me with the box of dads old stuff?" Luz said as she packed a box of her dads old belongings. "Sure thing sis." Vee said as the shape shifter helped pack Manny's belongings. As the two packed the box a Yankees baseball cap fell to the floor. Luz quickly picked it up and began hugging the hat. "What was he like Luz?" Vee asked as she grabbed the
packing tape. "Oh he was the best. He would wake up early and make pancakes for me and mom. He took me to Yankees games as a little girl and cared for everyone no matter what. You would have loved him and I know he would have loved you." Luz said as she put the hat in the box. "Come on you two, let's get these boxes packed up. If we get it done before 5pm we will go out for pizza." Camila said and the two girls began to work hard when Vee's phone began to ring. "Be back in a second, let me take this phone call." She said as she went into the next room…
Later At The Old House…..
Willow and Amity made their way through the portal door into the living room of the old house."Man this place has changed." Willow said."I know. It's hard to believe it's the same run down shack we popped out of on the day of unity." Amity said. The house had come a long way and it wouldn't be long till the nocedas moved in. Heck some of their furniture was already in place. "Well let's sit and for Vee and Masha to show up." Willow said as the two sat down in of chairs chatting about their daily life and their
relationships to pass the time. It didn't take long for Vee and Masha to show up. Vee and Masha had met while she was pretending to be Luz in summer camp. They met again as her new human form when visiting the gravesfield historical society to solve the rebus. It didn't take long for the two to spark up a relationship that blossomed into a true romance. A year after they became a couple Vee revealed everything to Masha. They took it very well and grew quite fond of the demon realm "Thanks for coming on
such short notice you two." Amity said. " No problem Amity now what's the matter." Vee said. "I need to buy Luz a gift for her King-cenera. I couldn't find anything in the demon realm so I thought id check out the human realm and seeing you are the only person who knows both the human realm and Luz very well I was hoping you could help me." Amity said. `Of course Amity. Now where do you want to go?" Vee said. `I'd like to check out a human mall." Amity said. `Well the nearest mall is a 40 min drive.
Masha can drive us." Vee said."Wait Amity, how are you gonna pay for it? They don't take snails." Willow said."It's ok with me and Vee can front the bill." Masha said as they twirled their car keys on their index finger." Really
You two are great." Amity said, giving both a hug. "Well it's settled. Willow will keep Luz busy and we will hit the mall got it." Vee said as the group went their separate ways
