Minerva McGonagall woke up in the morning excited, it was a Saturday, which meant no classes, but more importantly, it was the first Hogsmeade weekend of the year. She had an old friend to go visit.

"Severus, what brings you out of your cave this early?" Minerva smirked as she and her colleague fell in step with each other.

"Just going for a stroll," Snape said back quickly. "It does one good to be out in the sun every now and then." Not letting his face betray him that he was very eager and anxious about going to see Lily.

"Oh really," Minerva said coyly. "I'm sure you and I just happen to be heading towards the gate, going to pick up a few things from Hogsmeade were you, maybe a stop at Aberforth's, hmm?"

"Not today, I have plans," Severus countered, he knew that she knew where he was going, but that didn't mean he had to say it.

"I'm certain it has nothing to do with the recently widowed redheaded witch who moved back into the country this year," Minerva teased.

"Quite, just as I am sure, you aren't doing the same with one of your favorite students," Snape kept his gaze forward.

"Oh please Severus, Lily was everyone's favorite student," Minerva shook her head as if she had some unique bias towards her.

"I know," Snape admitted.

"Do you think she's home?" Minerva wondered from the quiet in the home.

"I will rip it off Krillin," the sudden shout from the inside of the house startled both professors.

"I don't know anyone else who is able to do that," Snape slowly nodded as he nervously raised his hand to knock, feeling a tad more unsure about his decision to attempt to reconnect.

The door opened wide after a few moments. "Minerva," Lily said happily at seeing her old head of house, then turned to look at the other person standing on her doorstep. "Severus," she greeted coldly, stepping out of the way so both could enter her home.

"It's not bad, I look dignified," Krillin protested from the kitchen.

"You look ridiculous," Eighteen said as she sat at the table with a cup of coffee in hand. "I like bald you."

"I know, I'm just trying something different," Krillin shrugged. "I'll try styling it a bit and see what I can do if not I'll just go back to the classic. Hello," he turned to wave towards the people who came into Lily's house.

"Good morning," Minerva nodded her head in greeting to the two people sitting at Lily's table, while Snape just grunted.

"Oh I can tell who's a morning person," Eighteen chuckled.

"Have a seat, I hope this isn't anything more about Gohan's behavior?" Lily inquired. "If you need me to come up to the school to discipline him, I will."

"Gohan got in trouble!" Krillin gasped. "Ooh what did he do? Come on, tell us."

"I bet he was such a huge nerd they had to give him detention," Eighteen smirked, causing Krillin to laugh hysterically.

"He punched a mountain troll out of the castle," Lily sighed.

"No, Gohan's taken to his detentions quite well, even if Mr. Vegeta's methods are unconventional," Minerva shook her head. "I just, it's been ten years since I've seen you Lily, what happened?"

"Well, after Voldemort came to kill us and Goku put a stop to him, he didn't want to stick around any longer, so we went where there was less trouble." Lily admitted to the reason for her sudden disappearance.

"I, I'm sorry," Snape said suddenly, having been trying to stay quiet and out of the conversation, hoping that things could just be left unsaid and they could become friends again. "I never wanted him to come after you."

"Severus, I'm not mad that Voldemort came to try and kill me and my family," Lily shook her head. "I'm not even mad about the part you played in it." She really wasn't, after everything else that happened in her life, Snape unintentionally pointing the deceased dark lord in her direction hadn't been enough to make her angry at her former friend, sad yes, but not angry. "What makes me want to tie you to the wall and let these two work you over is that you are ONLY sad that he came after me, not that he would have tried to murder a baby!" Screaming the last bit as she slammed her hands onto the table and stood up.

"You wouldn't be feeling this way if he had gone after James, or even Alice and Frank, but that he came after me, is the only reason you feel guilt," Lily tore into him about how he only regretted the result when it was towards someone he liked. "That he could have killed Goku and myself before turning his wand on Gohan."

"I just wanted you-." Snape tried to say as he cowered in his chair, accepting the verbal lashing thrown at him.

"Kami above, if you truly want to make amends, be a better man than the one that threw away our friendship," Lily demanded, she hated weak apologies, action is what moved her, she wanted to see the person working to improve themselves not just saying they will. "It took me days to find out information on all the professors because I wanted to see if I needed to get Gohan any supplemental material for his classes, and do you want to know the worst things I heard?"

"No." Snape quietly replied. He could easily guess what some of those things were.

"It wasn't that no one had exorcised Binns, it wasn't the constant turnover in the D.A.D.A. classes, it was that you made kids hate potions," Lily hissed at him. "The one class you loved, the class where we had some of the best memories and you make children hate it with such a passion that they don't even brew their own potions at home."

"They aren't-," Snape tried to protest that it wasn't his fault they couldn't brew to his standards, they just weren't good enough in his eye.

"They are children, you are a better brewer than I ever was, you have the skills and passion to teach them to be great, even the worst could become a master under your tutelage," Lily continued, ignoring Snape's meager excuses. "You are turning the grudge you hold against James and his friends onto every innocent child that comes through your door and that's wrong, that's not a man I can forgive, until then, until you actually try, I don't want to see you in my home," Lily stated her terms firmly.

Snape had to make a decision, put away the past hate and be the man that Lily believed he could be or wallow and lose everything. "I'll try," he said weakly as he stood up from his chair to leave.

"Severus, I'm still really glad to see you alive though, too many people died in the war, and even more people were scarred by it," Lily said softly to him as she calmed herself down.

"Thank you Lily, I have much to think about," nodding his head, he retreated from the house to return to his dungeon, where he would spend the weekend reflecting on his actions, weighing the words Lily had bludgeoned him with in his mind.

"Sorry about that Krillin, Eighteen," Lily said as she sat down.

"No don't worry about it," Krillin chuckled, he'd seen and had been on the receiving end of one of Lily's infamous dressing downs, they were not fun, but they were always deserved.

"It was an artform all to itself," Eighteen said proudly as she'd not had a chance to see the witch really get herself worked up before, and now she understood what Krillin and the other guys had been talking about.

"So," turning back to Minerva, who had wisely kept quiet unless some of Lily's ire was directed at her. "What did you want to talk to me about my son?" asking as she took a small sip of her tea.

"He, um, he told me some stories during his detention with me," Minerva licked her lips. "The word Saiyan came up, and-"

"So he told you everything he knew then?" Lily said cutting her off, as she could tell the old professor wasn't sure how to broach the subject.

"Yes," nodding at the conclusion Lily had come to. "I believe he is frustrated with me."

"It's just saiyan puberty," Lily shook her head. "He's trigger happy and full of energy, made worse because he's, what a million times stronger than Goku was at that age?" asking Krillin for a guess on the power discrepancy.

"Probably," Krilling shrugged. "He's got nothing to do and no one to fight, and I'd say he's a little too young to be looking for the other kind of "F" word with someone."

"If anyone could survive him," Eighteen added in. "No offense, but if he can squash that bug, then I'd be worried for the girl's pelvis if he did."

"Pfft," Lily snorted. "Well thankfully we can fix broken bones with a spell."

"That's straight up hacks," Krillin shook his head. "I'll never understand how broken magic is."

"Anyway," Lily rolled her eyes. "Yes, it's likely everything Gohan told you is correct, he's a half-saiyan, which is to say he's half alien, and that Goku is not a being from this planet," Lily said before going into some of the details that Minerva had questions about.

After a few hours of chatting, Krillin and Eighteen stood up. "Well, it was great seeing you," the couple said their goodbyes as they headed towards the door.

"We'll come back around the holidays," Krillin promised.

"Here's our number if you need it," Eighteen said, handing over the scrap of paper. "Let us know when the baby's about ready and we'll be there for you." Giving the mother a hug before they shut the door behind them.

"It is getting late," Minerva said as she looked at the time, she had been reminiscing and learning with Lily for most of the day. "I'll need to return to the school for dinner."

"Come on by next Hogsmeade weekend, bring some of the others, I'd love to see Filius and Hagrid," Lily smiled as she hugged the professor before she started her walk back up to the castle.

That night Minerva didn't have any chores to give Gohan, she passed him along to Filius to see if he needed any assistance.

"Impressive fighting stance, I've never seen it before," Filius mused as he watched Gohan work through a set. "What is it?"

"A mix of Master Roshi's Turtle School that he taught my dad and the Demon Style Piccolo taught me," Gohan said as he moved around the space Filius had cleared. The former duelist had wanted to get a close up view of Gohan's techniques.

"Yes, the man with the unfortunate name," Filius nodded.

"How is it unfortunate?" Gohan inquired.

Filius moved over to a bookshelf and brought one of the books down. "It was a bit before your time, but we still remember the Demon King Piccolo," showing a page where the Piccolo had been drawn, it was from hundreds of years ago.

"Oh yeah, my dad beat him," Gohan nodded, recalling the story both his father and Mr. Piccolo had told him. "But I'm talking about his son, who is also Piccolo, well it's Piccolo Jr. but we don't really say the junior part." Gohan said as he rattled on.

"Wait, what?" Filius squeaked in surprise. "The demon king was slain, wait, the demon king has a son?!" Unsure about which piece of information was most shocking to him.

"Yeah, okay, this is what I know, but since my dad and Mr. Piccolo told me, it's what happened," Gohan said as he told the tale of the fights between the two over the years, unaware that he had begun floating in the center of the room instead of grabbing a chair and sitting.

Classes resumed on Monday with not much fervor, it was after all the first day back after the first Hogsmeade weekend for the older students and they were a bit sluggish. However everyone noticed a drastic change in many of the professors, they were much more relaxed in their lessons and didn't seem to be as strict as they used to be. But what was on everyone's tongue was potions, Snape had done a complete one-eighty, in fact many people wondered what number accurately represented the change in his behavior.

"This is the proper way to hold your utensils, that way you do not risk any injury to yourself," Snape said as he had his class of students around his table to see clearly the way he held his knife. "Make sure that you keep your fingers tucked in, it can be very uncomfortable if you are working with certain ingredients and cut yourself. On that, we will discuss proper protections for your hands, face and clothes, just because charms can work, does not mean they always will." As he went into the various scenarios where the charms could fail or even allow for bigger mistakes due to overconfidence in them.

Hogwarts for the first time in a long time had been living up to his claim of the best school in the world for magic, something which had made all the students proud to learn there.

"Are you certain I could not convince you to remain in the castle for the holidays Mr. Son?" Albus asked as he had Gohan brought up to a meeting with him, it had been months and he still had not gotten the fabled ball to work so he could wish away the dark lord and he worried that without Gohan in the castle, that Voldemort could make a play for the stone without being opposed by the child in the prophecy.

"Sir, I'll just be down in Hogsmeade, if it's that important you can always have me come back up," Gohan shook his head. "Now if you don't mind I have to pack and give some letters to people my mother wanted to have come by for the holidays." leaving the headmaster in his office to contemplate his worries.

"Draco," Gohan called out as he hurried after the group of Slytherins. "Hey wait up," he said, not wanting to go too fast in the crowded halls for fear of bowling over the entire student body.

"What do you want Mudblood?" Draco sneered as the strange Gryffindor approached him, however that was as far as he went with his teasing, they did not know what Gohan was doing during those late night sessions with that strange short man who came by during Gohan's detention, which meant they were wary of him, choosing to gather more information before doing anything.

Electing to ignore the insult, Gohan pulled out the invitation his mother had sent for him to give out. "This is for your mother," handing off the note to the blond prat. "My mom would love it if she and her family could stop by over the holidays for some a party she's throwing."

"And why shouldn't I rip it up now?" Draco said haughtily, as he held the piece of paper in his hands.

"Because she'll just send a letter directly to her anyway and your mother would likely be annoyed that you didn't bring it to her like was asked," Gohan answered as he folded his arms. "Look, are you going to do this or not? I have other people I have to give these to," Gohan tapped his foot as he still needed to catch a few of the other students before they all got on the train.

"Fine," Draco huffed as he stowed the letter in his robes. "But get out of my sight Mudblood," he commanded as he turned away from Gohan.

"Oh Daphne," Gohan called out as he saw the blonde girl in the group. "I had one for you as well," Gohan said as he pulled out another letter. "My mom wanted to meet you."

"Why?" Daphne questioned why the infamous Lily Evans, or rather Lily Son wanted to see her.

"Well I kind of bragged that you were great in potions when we worked together, so she wanted to meet you," Gohan rubbed the back of his head.

"Thank you, I will give it to my parents to let them decide if they would like to visit," Daphne said diplomatically, not giving him an affirmative or not if she would show up to his house.

"Great," Gohan smiled brightly. "Now I just need to get to a few other students."

"And you got in here, how?" The Hufflepuff prefect questioned the young Gryffindor that was in their common room.

"Well the door didn't want to open but with a quick tug it got out of the way." Gohan answered as he didn't want to say that he had sensed for the energy of his housemates to find the location of their common room. "I have a couple of letters to give out," scuffing his foot on the floor. "I'll only be a minute, I promise."

"Fine," rolling his eyes, he realized that the kid might as well do what he came in to do.

"Here, for you two," handing a letter to Tonks and Susan. "I'm sure your parent's already got invited by my mom, but she still gave me those anyway."

"It's going to be wicked fun Sonny Boy," Tonks teased as she ruffled Gohan's hair, something she found fascinating that no matter what it always took the same shape.

"Thanks, I'm sure Auntie Amelia and Uncle James will love to visit," Susan nodded in agreement.

"Great, now I just need to get the professors," Gohan said as he exited the common room.

"Are you sure you don't need me to bring extra food?" Bulma asked over the phone. "You'll have three saiyans to feed, plus everyone else."

"Nonsense, I just asked Minerva if any of the house elves could be loaned out to help with the party," Lily said as she got ready to go up to the gate to pick up Gohan. "The little buggers practically fell over themselves to volunteer, seems Gohan has a reputation for challenging their cooking production."

"If you say so, we'll be there in a few days then," Bulma said as she hung up. "Vegeta," Bulma called out into the living room where her husband was sitting with Trunks. "We don't need to worry about bringing anything but ourselves to Lily's."

"Hmm," Vegeta grunted.

"Aww, someone's in a pouty mood," Bulma slunk over to Vegeta before straddling him. "Does he want to open his christmas present early?" she whispered, leaning down to bite his lip.

"This Earth holiday is much more fun than Frieza Day," Vegeta said with a large smile as he lifted Bulma up and carried her to the bedroom.

"Welcome welcome," Lily said happily as the first of the guests started to arrive. "It's so good to see everyone, how are you professor Flitwick," Lily smiled down at the charms professor, before she was swept up into a bone crushing hug from Hagrid. "Aww I missed you too."

Gohan had been standing off to the side to take coats or gifts that people brought, and also for a place for the younger people to congregate since he figured most of the children wouldn't want to hang around their parents for too long. "Hey Gohan," Harry Potter said as he walked over after giving a proper greeting to Lily.

"Hey Harry, hello Susan," Gohan bowed to them respectfully.

"I like your house, it's very nice," Susan said as she hadn't expected one so large, it wasn't the size of a manor, but it was definitely expensive.

"We would have gotten a smaller one, but Bulma insisted that she purchase the house for us, really wanted us to have space to grow if we wanted too," Gohan rubbed his head bashfully.

"Oh my gosh is that little Neville," Lily squealed as she saw Augustus bring him in. "Oh where are Frank and Alice, I haven't seen them in ages," she said with a smile as she looked around for her friends.

"They aren't, with us," Augustus said firmly, she had been ready to tear Lily a new one for that comment, but realized that the woman wouldn't have known.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, when did they," Lily gasped, for being rude and for hearing such a tragic fate befell her friends.

"They are in Saint Mungos, the crazy bitch Bellatrix and her brotherfu-, husband and brother in law, tortured them under the cruciatus for too long," Augustus censored herself in front of the children.

"Nothing can be done?" Lily inquired.

"Too much damage, sometimes you think they're still in there, but," Augustus sighed.

"How about I take a look, if that's not too much trouble, I might not have a solution, but I might know people who do," Lily promised. "If not, there is one thing I can do that is guaranteed to work, but it will take some time," knowing that the dragonballs still had a few more months before they could be used again and fixing the Longbottoms should be well within Shenron's power.

"Could you dearie?" Augustus said hopefully, even after all these years Lily was still a brilliant witch held in high esteem, it was a possibility that hadn't been considered.

"I promise, I'll help my friends," Lily nodded.

"Hey Neville," Gohan greeted the glum boy. "Not looking too hot are you?"

"It's nothing," Neville sighed, the holidays were always a tough time for him.

"Well how about we do something to put a smile on that face, once everyone's here, we can go off and play or somethiiii-," Gohan said before a little purple haired ball slammed into him. "Hey Trunks."

"Gohan, Gohan," the toddler proclaimed as he sat on Gohan's chest.

"I guess that means Bulma and Vegeta are here now?" Gohan looked to see the couple coming in the front door.

"Lily," Bulma squealed as she hurried over to her friend.

"Bulma," Lily bounced around excitedly to see the Briefs.

"Here," Vegeta curtly said as he handed the present to the redheaded witch before finding a quiet corner away from people, which lasted all but a few minutes before the sociable Hagrid went over to talk to him, or at him, since Vegeta barely responded.

"We're just waiting on…" Gohan said as he saw Hermione come in, with her parents. She'd been excited to see a wizard home, and this would allow her parents to see magic close up, since she didn't want to break the law to show what she learned in school.

"Oh my gosh, is that Bulma Briefs talking to Professor McGonagall?" Hermione asked excitedly.

"Yeah, family friend of my dad's, they've known each other for years and years," Gohan answered. "This is her son Trunks and her husband Vegeta is in the corner trying to tune out Hagrid." Holding up the toddler and nodding his head in the direction of the Saiyan Prince.

"Hey shorty," Yamcha said as he reached over and ruffled Gohan's hair. "I got you a little something," passing the gift to Gohan as he smiled at the kids.

"Thanks Yamcha, where are the others?" Gohan inquired, sure he could just sense for where they are, but that takes all the fun out of waiting for people.

"Oh I passed Krillin and Eighteen along the way, I'm not sure about Tien, he never answers his letters, but," Yamcha started to list off where he knew people were when a rowdy voice drew attention.

"Where're the strippers at," Master Roshi loudly asked as he walked into the house, earning him a slap from Lily. "I mean, where are the adult dancers?"

With a heavy sigh Lily greeted Master Roshi and his sister Baba who came together. "I don't normally see you together?" asking the implied question why they both showed up.

"I wouldn't miss the chance, I didn't know Gohan was a wizard," Baba said as she floated by on her crystal ball. "I have a good present for him," smiling as she handed an ancient tome to Gohan. "It's got some useful spells in there, from when I used to date Merlin," she winked.

"Bah, you didn't date Merlin, the damn boy was too shy to come up to you," Master Roshi grumbled. "Now Perenelle Flamel, that was a ripe young lady," Roshi laughed lecherously as he joined the adults to talk.

"Who was that?" Susan questioned the strange elderly people.

"Master Roshi and his sister Baba, she doesn't normally come out, but I'm glad she's here this year." Gohan answered as he flipped through the book.

"Wait Baba… Fortune Teller Baba!" Hermione shouted. "The ancient seer."

"Yeah, should be the same," Gohan shrugged.

The young girls outburst had attracted the attention of the magical guests who were now starstruck that such a prominent historical figure was there with them, someone who had been alive hundreds of years ago, and they never knew Lily was associated with her.

"Mr. Piccolo," Gohan said excitedly as he saw the Namekian step through the door at a forty-five degree angle. "And Dende," Gohan said as he came over to greet the Guardian of Earth.

"De-demon King," Filius shouted in fear as he saw the Namekian approach. He easily drew attention away from the others who had been talking with Baba. Many people reached for their wands in response to his presence.

"Wait, wait, it's okay," Lily hurried over once she heard the commotion brewing. "He's not evil."

"Plus that's my father, so, kind of racist to assume," Piccolo folded his arms and snorted.

While the adults had various states of panic attacks at this the children were fascinated. "You're friends with the Demon King's son?" Harry whispered in shock.

"Well my dad beat his dad, and then him, but I wouldn't say we became friends until he kidnapped me for a year, mom was pissed," Gohan scratched his chin.

"So this is his son then," Neville pointed nervously at Dende.

"Sup," Dende nodded choosing to hang around Gohan for a while. "Also no, I am not related to Nail at all," Dende answered.

"His name is Nail? That's bad ass," Tonks said from behind the group, having let herself in when Lily had hurried away from the door to stop a fight. "Also hey everyone."

"Tonks, you made it," Gohan smiled up at the older girl. "And Draco, hello," giving a curt nod to the blonde.

"I am only here because my mother dragged me along, she wanted to see your mother, father wanted nothing to do with the mudblood," Draco sneered at the group of other children.

"Don't use that-," Harry seethed at the slur before Gohan put a hand on his shoulder stopping him.

"That's fine, but, everyone else in this house is a friend of my mothers, and there are people here that can do incredible things, things you don't want done to you, so use the cunning of a Slytherin and know when to keep your mouth shut." Gohan said flaring his ki threateningly.

"Oh ho," Vegeta hurried over. "Is Kakabrat going to pummel one of the Earthlings." His tone excited to watch children fight, even if it was completely one sided, he'd say that made it better.

"No Vegeta, I'm not going to beat Draco into the ground just for your amusement," Gohan said flatly.

"Then can I beat you into the ground?" Vegeta leered over Gohan.

"Not in the house," Lily and Bulma shouted over the conversation, it only took them seeing Vegeta talking to Gohan to know what would happen if he was left unchecked.

"There is a nice clearing in the forest, not far from here, just don't hurt any of the unicorns or centaurs, and you two can punch each other for… an hour or so, then there will be enough food ready for everyone," Lily said as she looked at her wand to tell her the time.

Bulma came over and collected Trunks from Gohan, he didn't need to be exposed to the violence just yet, in another year or so maybe.

"Oh I gotta see this," Yamcha said as he pulled away from his conversation with the Potters. "Come on Krillin," he nudged his shorter friend.

"What?" Krillin grumbled, his conversation with Professor FLitwick was not going well. "And for the last time, I'm not half anything, I'm just short."

"Gohan's going to beat the tar out of Vegeta," Yamcha said happily as he hurried out the door to catch the slow moving group.

"Can't miss that," Krillin nodded as he always enjoyed watching Vegeta get wrecked. "Hey Tien come on," Krillin said as they ran past the late arrival.

"We just got here," Chiaotzu protested.

"Gohan's going to wipe the floor with Vegeta, hurry up." Yamcha shouted.

"Well, tis the season," Tien smirked as he ran to join them.

"Ugh," Chiaotzu groaned as he floated in as he noticed more and more curious people started to follow the growing group. "Lily, hello,"

"Oh Chiaotzu, welcome, is Tien going with the other fighters?" Lily greeted.

"Yeah, also, we didn't just come by ourselves," Nodding his head to the side.

"Chi-Chi?!" Lily gasped. "I have seen you since the World Martial Arts Tournament. How are things?"

"Well Tien and I are engaged," Chi-Chi smiled as she showed the ring off.

"Wonderful," Bulma agreed as she liked the cut of the gem. "When's the wedding?"

"In the spring, I'll make sure you get invites," Chi-Chi promised. "We should hurry up though, I want to see Vegeta get tossed around like a ragdoll."

"This is the forbidden forest for a reason," Sirius nervously chuckled.

"Scared youngin'?" Master Roshi chuckled.

"No, it's just," Sirius denied that the forest made him a little on edge. "There are kids here." Trying to seem like responsible party.

"So, we're all competent magic users and for those that aren't, well, they wouldn't need it anyway," Lily shrugged. "Now come on Black, we don't have all day."

"Good an audience is just what we needed," Vegeta smiled as he knew it would be all the sweeter to have his triumph seen by more people.

It took almost no time at all for the witches and wizards to transfigure some sturdy bleachers for them all to sit on to watch from. The crowd of fighters however were cheering for Gohan. Which made the professors root for their students, causing the other adults to do the same.

"Hear that Vegeta," Gohan said. "All the more people to watch you eat dirt."

"Oh you are asking for some bruises brat," Vegeta said as he flung off the restrictive button up shirt he had on.

Doing the same to his own shirt, Gohan started to stretch a bit. "No super saiyan?" he suggested.

"Why hold back?" Vegeta questioned.

"The others couldn't see us if we did," Gohan explained as he readied himself.

"So you want to allow them to see your defeat, how humble," Vegeta grinned as he launched himself at Gohan.

"Oh my god, I thought this was something else," Mrs. Granger gasped as she hadn't realized exactly what those two had come out to the forest to do.

"Yeah Gohan, break his kneecaps," Lily roared, shocking the others that she could have such a bloodlust.

"Put him in a coma Vegeta," Bulma shouted, equally loud.

For the most part of the fight, it looked like the most intense fight any of them had seen until Vegeta had gripped Gohan's head and hurled him through a tree. "Like that brat." Vegeta wiped a bit of blood trailing down his lips as he sprinted to catch up to the half-saiyan projectile.

"Oh are you finally done warming up," Gohan smirked as he flew across the ground using Vegeta's body to dig a trench. "I was hoping you'd do more than a love tap," Gohan laughed as he slammed Vegeta into the ground, making a crater.

Gohan was launched from the deep pit when Vegeta kicked him in the chest, quickly gaining altitude from the blow. "I wasn't sure you could handle it little boy," Vegeta smirked as he took the fight to the air where they proceeded to exchange blows with each other.

The only sounds of cheers had been from Goku's friends who were used to seeing things like this, the magicals and muggles, didn't know what to do. "Yeah Gohan," Minerva cut through the awkwardness to support the half-saiyan student. It had taken some time to really come to terms with the power she saw, but if she had to pick a side, it would be her student that she supported.

This was enough to get the others back into cheering before the two fighters slammed into the ground, hands clasped and pushing against each other. Vegeta growled before smashing his face into Gohan's, breaking his nose and making him loosen his grip. "Yes, victory is all but mine," Vegeta declared before Gohan angrily roared and exploded into Vegeta's gut, laying punch after punch into his stomach.

"Shit," Vegeta grunted as he weathered the hits, "I'm not going to lose here." raising his arms up and hammering them both down onto Gohan's back, then grabbing his hair and spinning around rapidly before tossing him aside. It took Gohan a second to get up when Vegeta knocked over a tree onto him, the massive wooden structure putting a lot of weight on his body.

"Get up Gohan, you can still win this," Krillin cheered as he saw Gohan struggling with the weight of the tree. "It's probably only a million pounds, you can do it," Krillin shouted.

"Not for long he can't," Vegeta cackled as he leaped forward to crush the child before Gohan let out a primal roar and exploded the tree off of him and collided with Vegeta in the air. The crowd was protected from shrapnel since Lily had the foresight to put up a small barrier to stop the high speed projectiles from shredding them all.

Vegeta screamed as Gohan took him deeper into the woods, leaving the crowd to only hear the sounds of combat and the rumbles of the ground to go off of. After a few minutes things got quiet.

"Is it over?" Sirius said from behind the bleachers, having hidden halfway through the fight.

"We. have. a. winner," Yamcha proudly said as Gohan came trudging back over, very bruised and covered in scars, dragging Vegeta behind him.

"And the winner is, the strongest being in the universe, Son Gohan," Krillin cheered as he and his friends hurried over to congratulate the child on his victory.

"Hehe, thanks guys, man, I hope they made a lot of food, I'm starving," Gohan chuckled as he let the group hoist him up on their shoulders and carry him back towards the house.

"Don't worry," Dende said as he went over to Vegeta first. "I'll get him all fixed up," the Guardian of Earth said happily as Bulma came over to console her husband on his loss.

"You did good, I didn't think Gohan was going to win in the end," Bulma said sadly as Vegeta watched the group of morons as he saw them leaving.

"He didn't go super saiyan, but he did something like it," Vegeta wiped his chin of blood, just because he'd had his wounds taken care of, doesn't mean he was clean.

"Well Gohan always was one to get stronger when you put his back to the wall," Bulma shrugged as she'd seen the kid when he got cornered, he was not one you wanted to do that too.

"Yeah," Vegeta smirked. "All the more reason to get stronger."

"After some food," Bulma chastised before taking a whiff of her husband. "And a shower." She leaned over to him. "Together."

"Oh ho, happy Christmas to me," Vegeta smiled as he enjoyed shower time with his wife.

"Gohan make sure you don't track blood all over the carpet, just because the elves will clean it up doesn't mean you should make the mess," Lily called out before Gohan could be brought into the house.

"Aren't you worried, I think his arm is broken," Mr. Granger said louder than usual as he looked at the child warrior who was talking happily with the other children, who after getting over the fright of seeing ultra violence that close were excited beyond belief.

"You have to teach me," Tonks pleaded. "Please, I'd be like some kind of super auror if I could do what you do."

"I guess, it'll take a while before you can get the basics down but after that it's not too crazy," Gohan shrugged as he figured he might as well do something with his time.

"You're the best," Tonks picked up Gohan and peppered his cheek with kisses. "I'm going to ace that auror entrance exam." she proudly declared while she spun around while holding Gohan.

"You want me to patch you up Gohan?" Dende offered once Tonks finally put him back on the ground.

"Nah, let me feel it a little bit longer," Gohan smiled, revelling in the soreness of victory.

"I'll get you before we leave then," Dende nodded, leaving Gohan to his wounds. "Saiyans," he shook his head. "Never understand them."

"Guess I need to get cleaned up before I go inside though," Gohan looked himself over and noticed that his clothes were torn, he was dripping blood and he was covered in splinters and dust.

"I'll help you," Narcissa Malfoy offered as she waved her wand, cleaning him up. "I don't do transfiguration well, but cleaning up blood and debris isn't beyond my capability."

"Thanks Mrs. Malfoy," Gohan smiled at the blonde woman.

"Oh no Gohan, thank you," she said as she knew just how to use this information to her benefit.

"So runt, I'm guessing you want a set of clothes?" Piccolo grumbled.

"If you don't mind," Gohan blushed a bit embarrassed to be offered clothes like that.

"Well, I did enjoy watching you beat Vegeta unconscious so, think of it as an extra gift," Before shoving his hand out and engulfing Gohan in a cloud of smoke. "Just remember doors."

"Will do Mr. Piccolo," Gohan nodded as he entered his home.

"He eats like this at every meal," Harry assured his father that nothing was wrong after Gohan's eighteenth plate of food. "Plus wouldn't you be that hungry after doing all of that?"

"I'd be dead on the floor if I did even a tenth of that," James admitted as he was in shock about how proficient of a fighter Gohan was.

As the feast with friends got underway, back in the castle, a figure slunk through the quiet halls. "We must get the stone, we don't have much time," Voldemort said from the back of Quirrell's skull.

"Yes master," Quirrell said as he charmed a harp to play music, putting the large three headed dog to sleep.
