Chapter 7
Tokyo…
"Do you smell that?"
"Smells like a barn don't it?"
"Where the hell is that smell coming from?"
'And… I should have showered… damn meat sweats…' Rook was regretting his choice, he nearly had half a mind to go to a drug store, fine the best cologne and just do an outdoor shower with it! He was about to do such a thing until someone slapped him rather hard on the back. Had he been human… that would have shattered ribs.
"Hey since when did someone like you come about?!"
He was surrounded by orcs! Five big men have surrounded him but they didn't see him as a human?
"Hey, looks guys, I am just taking a day for me, okay…" Rook tried to explain.
"Nah man, you got to come with us. We'll definitely get girls this way!" another cheered, but he leaned in and whispered. "I don't know how you did it man, but you got the perfect human form going…"
They think he's an Orc…
'Was this what Oji had in mind?' Rook wondered with worry. 'Why would he want me to smell like an Orc?'
Either way he was trapped as these guys blindly led him to the other side of town to a pig pen… in other words a shoddy looking place that no human would dare go or walk into.
It happened to be an old toy factory this time around. And quite frankly… Rook was wishing he brought weapons and Oji with him at this point.
He was brought into the building, but there were hundreds of Orc in their true form. He was disgusted to see dead bodies all around, practically all women. The few corpses that were men… were the ones trying to defend the woman they were with…
'Shit bro, but props to you for your bravery' Rook thought as he walked by. The women he felt terrible for, thank God it was dark or he would really see how they were killed.
"MASTER! LOOK AT THIS GUY! HE PERFECTED THE HUMAN FORM!" Rook froze as he suddenly became the center of attention in this place. Every orc stopped and stared at him, but they were amazed. "What I tell you? With him, we can get ALL the women we want!"
They roared and cheered at the notion, even their master as they called him… the biggest pig in the room was rather pleased with this.
"HOLD IT!" Rook called. "Let's take a moment, step back on this… since I'm NOT an Orc."
The room froze.
"What are you talking about boy? You reek of Orc! No human has that kind of musk…"
He paused to this. "MUSK?!" he demanded. "You smell like something rolled out of a barn after rolling in shit and God knows what! This isn't musk! This is stink!" he protested.
"You're point?"
He sighed. "Look, I'm just going to turn around and let myself out…"
"Hold it,"
He paused as their leader called out, he peered at Rook oddly almost as if knowing him or something. "If what you speak is true… then why do you smell like us? You're a human, are you not?"
There was no denying that. "I am, I'm Rook Tooru" he said.
That's… when things got a little interesting. He saw the Orc stumbled back in shock slightly. Others were worried and scared. Some… appeared tempted by something. Yet the leader snickered. "Tooru huh? But human? He is of no threat, what he speaks is an utter lie."
"You want me to kill one of these guys here and now and butcher him before you? Get me a fire started, I'll roast him as well" Rook challenged.
The Orcs laughed aloud at him, none believed he could accomplish such a thing. "Very well, let's humor the boy… we happened to have someone special come to us recently… I am certain this will be entertaining…" the orc snapped his fingers. Suddenly, there was a massive gab between Rook and the other Orcs. The ground trembled with every step, the walls shook and some windows broke as a massive boar came out of hiding. This thing was four the size of the orcs in the room, twice the size of the leader. Over its body was thick bristle fur, making it perfect armor for the swine.
"Mmmm, human flesh!" it said in a slobbering tone.
'I really wished I had brought a weapon with me…' Rook thought. The boar itself was massive. If he were to guess, nearly three times the size of Oji… but nonetheless.
A pig is a pig.
Rook prepared himself, despite believing that he isn't a match for such a beast. He's never seen it before or has anyone spoken of these monsters…
It squealed aloud, roaring at Rook before charging.
He braced his body.
The boar plowed into him, full force! The walls shook, the ground cracked under their feet and the world went still for a moment. After all, Rook's feet had yet to move from where he planted them.
"GET OFF!" One hard shove and the boar stumbled back.
None of the Orcs moved.
The sharp fur of the beast sliced into Rook's body, he was cut up every which way but he glared at this monster. 'Why… why do I feel like I have to defeat him… why do I want to…' these thoughts went through Rook's mind.
Destroy the beast…
It almost felt urgent… as such he acted out of that instinct. Rook… felt like a mad man, in fact, he started smiling despite how bloodied he was.
"Why isn't he dead?!" the leader demanded.
"He… hehe… hehehehe…. HAHAHAHA!" Rook was cackling as he looked to the leader, but then he looked at the boar. "Oh? Looks like I have a weapon after all… be a sport… give me your tusks!"
