Chapter 12: Light's Reflection
Hikari woke up and saw Plotmon snuggled into her arms. She immediately realised she was on a bed that was definitely not in her own home. She looked around the room and saw that there were a few stacks of papers neatly arranged on a desk.
"Is this… Ms Takaishi's room..? What am I doing here..?"
Hikari sat at the side of the bed and felt weird. Her left arm felt dirty, while her right arm felt clean and perfect, as if she had just come out of a refreshing shower. Hikari started to recall what had happened the previous day.
"Right… Tailmon, Takeru and Patamon came to save me from those… creatures… Takeru grabbed my right hand and killed the creature holding me… There was a light and then… Seraphimon and Ophanimon? Did the thing with SkullGreymon happen again? Ugh I'll just ask Takeru… He will tell me… just like everything else…"
Hikari's thoughts of Takeru started to bring her mind to the lyrics of a song she had made. The lyrics had been sent to Yamato to be made into a proper song. After all, the lyrics seemed ambiguous enough for Yamato to not realise who it was really made for.
Reflection

"I'll always remember us when we were just innocent children, Takeru…"
Hikari sighed.
"Takeru… you always went so far just to protect me… and I can't even get the courage to confess to you… no that's it… I'm done running. I've lost Courage once, I need to find it myself and stop relying on everyone else so much."
Plotmon: "Hikari…"
Hikari: "Oh, sorry did I wake you up?"
Plotmon: "Are you ok?"
Hikari: "Of course I am, all of you came to save me, right?"
Plotmon: "Yep, right now we are at Takeru's house. This is his mom's room. She's out right now because she is trying to cover up for us."
Hikari: "Cover up?"
Plotmon: "Oh, when you collapsed, we just wanted to get you help as soon as possible so we ended up going to Takeru's home. We didn't really make an effort to conceal ourselves and apparently a lot of people saw us in our mega forms."
Hikari: "Oh… well we will definitely thank Ms Takaishi after all of this is done. Are you hungry?"
Plotmon: "Maybe a little…"
Hikari: "Alright, let's go see what they have. I think the least I could do for Takeru is to prepare some food for him"
Plotmon: "Or you could confess to him and make him the happiest guy alive."
Hikari glared at Plotmon before her face softened into a smile.
Hikari: "Alright, you win, I'll do it."
Plotmon: "Really?"
Hikari: "Yes. I'm not joking with you either."
Plotmon: "Yay! You finally found the courage to ask him!"
Hikari: "I had to find it someday… especially after Onii-Chan…"
Plotmon's eyes immediately widened and she panicked.
Plotmon: "Wait, Hikari, I didn't mean it like that."
Hikari just smiled and gave Plotmon a pet.
Hikari: "Don't worry Plotmon. I'll be fine. Now let's go and get some food."
And that's Reflection. For Reflection, I honestly cannot tell if it's for Tailmon or Takeru. Since its the girls' festival album it doesn't exactly give us any clue on who it's for. At least Focus was part of an album that's literally called best partner so it's more or less a clue that it's for their digimon partners. For Reflection, it's a bit harder to tell, I would assume it's for Takeru but honestly, Reflection is a bit hard to figure out. I had to change the translation a very slight amount at the part about selfish love. Because if you translate it into english the word 'koi' would just become love but the main problem is that in Japanese koi is more used to stand for selfish love. It's more like infatuation, I think. I am not well versed in Japanese but that's roughly what I understood based on the things I've read.
