The crowd was excited about the opening match.
"Welcome back ladies and gentlemen to Total Drama Wrestling, and we are about to have our opening contest as Bridgette Thompson is set to take on Anne Maria Sanchez." JR said before "Mermaid" by Train began to play as Bridgette came out to loud cheers as the bell rang.
"Ladies and gentlemen... our opening contest, is set for one-fall! Introducing first, from Toronto, Ontario Canada... she is "The Surfer Chick" Bridgette Thompson!" Justin Roberts announced.
"Following this match Daniel King will announce the card for TDW vs. ECW which takes place tomorrow night." Mauro said.
"That's exactly right." JR said to Mauro before "Bulletproof" by La Roux began to play as Anne Maria came out to boos.
"Her opponent, representing the Popular Girls... Anne Maria Sanchez!" Justin Roberts announced.
"Last week Anne Maria came up short against "Rowdy" Ali Moonbeam in a very competitive match, as she looks to gain a victory against the former women's champion in Bridgette Thompson." JR said.
"We will see what happens as Bridgette and Anne Maria square off to begin our night here at the Rupp Arena where we have a rocking crowd of 19,478 strong." Mauro said as Anne Maria entered the ring before the bell rang as the two began to grapple in the collar and elbow tie up.
"Here we go as our opening contest is officially underway." JR said before Bridgette nailed Anne Maria with a few arm drags to start it off.
"Bridgette hits Anne Maria with a series of arm drags." Mauro said before Anne Maria countered with a spinning heel kick, as she also nailed a scissors kick.
"Anne Maria fighting back with a series of kicks like she is WWE Hall of Famer Booker T!" Mauro said before Anne Maria nailed a spinning heel kick to the back of her head as she also nailed a Northern Lights Suplex with a bridge.
"1...!" The ref counted before Bridgette kicked out as she responded with another arm drag and then she nailed a Hurricanrana DDT to Anne Maria before she went up top.
"Bridgette is going up top what is she going to do?" Mauro said before she nailed the Hawaiian Pipeline which is Moonsault Legdrop onto Anne Maria to the crowd's delight.
"What a Moonsault Legdrop by Bridgette." JR said before she pinned Anne Maria.
"1...! 2...!" The ref counted as Anne Maria kicked out.
"A kickout at two by Anne Maria!" Mauro said before Bridgette attempted "Surf's Up" but Anne Maria countered it with an inverted DDT.
"Bridgette going for Surf's Up but Anne Maria countered it with a solid inverted DDT." JR said before Anne Maria was setting Bridgette up for the Jersey Neckbreaker as she kicked Bridgette in the gut and nailed the Jersey Neckbreaker.
"Jersey Neckbreaker by Anne Maria!" JR said before Anne Maria pinned Bridgette.
"1...! 2...!" The ref counted before Bridgette powered out.
"Bridgette kicked out at two! She has the heart, and the desire to win like when she wins the surfing competitions." Mauro said before Anne Maria attempted it again but Bridgette rolled out of the ring to think about her next gameplan for a second before she got back onto the apron and then did a springboard diving hurricanrana DDT to Anne Maria to amaze the crowd.
"Wow! What a Springboard Diving Hurricanrana DDT by Bridgette Thompson MAMMA MIA!" Mauro shouted before Bridgette was going for the win as she was setting Anne Maria up for "Surf's Up".
"Mauro... Bridgette is finally gonna go for the win." JR said before Bridgette nailed Anne Maria with Surf's Up.
"Surf's Up by Bridgette to Anne Maria! This could be the end of Anne Maria's night!" Mauro said before Bridgette pinned Anne Maria.
"1...! 2...! 3...!" The ref counted as Bridgette got the win to the crowd's delight.
"Here's your winner... Bridgette Thompson!" Justin Roberts announced.
"Up next is Jasmine and Josee facing off in a street fight but first the card for TDW vs. ECW!" JR said before the camera went to Daniel's office.
"Ladies and gentlemen... in the past week I have been on the phone with famous ECW wrestlers, with Tod Gordon, and with Paul Heyman... they will be there for TDW vs. ECW but as for the matches here are the matches in order." Daniel said before he cleared his throat.
"The matches will all be ECW rules so that means no disqualifications, no countouts, and more... now the opening contest is going to have The Surfers defending their TDW Tag Team Championship against not one but two tag teams in a Triangle Tag Team Elimination Match as the challengers will be... The Gangstas and another famous ECW tag team that will be revealed when the time is correct, now the next match is going to be Dawn Menzel defending her TDW Women's Championship against Reggie Bennett in a No Ropes Barbed Wire Deathmatch, then next Jay Morris will defend his TDW Intercontinental Championship against Tommy Dreamer, next T.A.G will defend their TDW Women's Tag Team Championships against Heather Clarkson and Josee Grenier because Beaulah McGillicutty and Francine are not wrestlers and it's only logical I have nothing against them." Daniel said as he announced the first matches before he resumed.
"Moving on... Brick McArthur will defend the TDW Hardcore Championship in a three-way dance against The Sandman and Masato Tanaka, then The Impact Players reunite to take on Duncan Brooks and Chris McLean of The Empire... then a 20 man TDW vs. ECW Royal Rumble Match will take place where the winner will receive a championship match of his choice in the near future, then we have "Rowdy" Ali Moonbeam taking on "The Man of a 1,000 Holds" Dean Malenko, then we have Bridgette taking on Rob Van Dam... then we have "The Gothic Nightmare" Ennui Wilson taking on Sabu, then we have Sugar taking on Jazz in the co-main event, and finally in our main event we will have the TDW World Heavyweight Championship on the line as he defends it against Shane Douglas! It is tomorrow night at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania... it's live! Be there for the most extreme night of the year!" Daniel said before the camera went back to JR and Mauro.
"Wow... what a card for tomorrow's show." Mauro said to JR.
"I agree, and coming up is the Street Fight between Jasmine Baxter and Josee Grenier! So don't go anywhere we will be right back!" JR said before the camera faded to black.
