Vivien asked how the conversation between Oliver and Joe continued beyond what we heard in the movie. I hope this story satisfies some of her curiosity. I love this father/son relationship and am still in awe of Martha's choice of Gregory Harrison as Oliver's father. I can't imagine anyone else in the role. It is almost Christmas again, and as there is no new Christmas SSD, I am once again playing. I own nothing, and understand that I am an unworthy scribbler.

I need an SSD Christmas fix so I making my own. Of course, the characters all belong to the amazing Martha Williamson, but I must borrow them and give them a festive spin. This is not really a story, but rather a collection of very short stories all based around Christmas.

This series is a follow-up to Sentimental Moods and the third installment of the Contemplations Trilogy. It continues to follow Shane and Oliver's married life with many heartfelt shenanigans along the way. Signed Sealed Delivered's characters are the creation of Martha Williamson. Characters not recognizable from the series are my own creation.

Since we've arrived at the month of love, I thought it a perfect time to share my latest story. Pam C. wondered what, if anything, Shane said to Rita about the missing Valentines. If she did, how did Rita react? This story addresses that and goes deeper into what happened between Oliver and Shane in those angst-ridden days. All characters belong to the brilliant Martha Williamson.

This idea came to me back in October, and it's taken this long to bring it to fruition. I actually put it aside for a while, unsure how to pull it together. But after hearing Rudy's interview with Kristin and hearing this is one of her favorite Christmas movies (mine, too), I knew I had to finish it. I hope you enjoy my twist on It's A Wonderful Life.

SSD For Christmas is, without a doubt, one of the best Christmas movies of all time. POstables watch it all year long, and we try to discern all the messages that it includes. What was Oliver thinking when he stopped and stared at the angel that was part of the church's Nativity display? It is certainly open to interpretation, and this is mine. This story picks up where Contemplations left off. It follows Shane and Oliver as they navigate the waters of married life after returning from an out-of-this-world honeymoon. Familiar faces and a couple new characters will be part of the story, along with a cheeky narrator.

It's all about timing! What if the timing was all mixed up? How would our beloved Shane and Oliver fare? How would their love story unfold? Would they still arrive at happy ever after?

Shane and Oliver are soon to be married. How will Oliver feel about Shane making a few changes to his house?

Shane and Oliver are surprised yet again by their feelings when dancing at the USPS Christmas Postal Ball.

Oliver and Shane have returned from their honeymoon and are settling into married life. Of course there are a few bumps along the way.

Why is Holly the way she is? What makes her tick? What's her motivation? Why did she marry Oliver? Did she love him? How did she live in Paris since she didn't seem to have a job? This is her story, from beginning to end.

A heartwarming story set in the Rockies in 1875. Shane and Oliver will face new challenges and fall in love in the good old Wild West traditional way. The whole gang is here to help... or hinder them.

This is a request for my thoughts on what made Oliver smile after reading Holly's poem during their final dinner together. It gave me a chance to get back into Oliver's head and explore his thoughts after his wife's unexpected return. The characters are the brilliant creation of Martha Williamson and beautifully portrayed by Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, and Poppy Montgomery.

After contemplating the events that led them to the altar, Shane and Oliver embark on the honeymoon of a lifetime. It's finally their time to bask in the bliss of their happiness, as they enjoy their newfound emotional and physical intimacy. The story is set after The Vows We Have Made.

Although I love and honor Martha's writing, I have lingering doubts about the realism of Vows's ending. There has been too much character growth and ShOliver (especially Shane) have waited too long for the moment when she and Oliver are finally one for the Fab Four to go back to the DLO to start another letter. So I give you an alternate ending. Enjoy!

Starts where New Beginnings left off. Postables start families. Set after 'To The Altar' and turning AU due to 'The Vows We Have Made' release. Sorry this story got put on hiatus! Life got incredibly busy and difficult. If you ever had one of those days that you barely had time to eat or go to the bathroom, well it lasted two years. Hope to pick up fall of '23.
