Tanjiro and Christiana's reunion continued.
"I missed you so much." Tanjiro whispered.
Tanjiro's companion walked purposefully to an entryway, laying a hand on the ground, which trembled. They drew their sword, and a creature burst up through the floor, knocking them back. Tanjiro rushes up to the creature, swinging his sword at it.
Christiana was still on the dais as the creature floated above them, clawing at the with ghastly claws. "Tanjiro!"
Tanjiro used Sun Breathing to take down the demon, but it lunged at him and grabbed both his hands. Tanjiro slashed at the creature, cutting off a amulet, which fell to the ground. The creature shrieked and flew off. Tanjiro, bare-handed, picked up the amulet.
"What was that thing?" Christiana said, running and hugging her princess.
"Something bad." Tanjiro winced where he was branded by the demonic amulet.
