The Thing 1982 Part 7
Oscar does something to himself to avoid the Alien Thing. Plus run away Head!

Okay, Clover, Oobleck and Cardin are tied up on the couch and Qrow is going to them give a sedative while Ren stands guard with his BT X-42 Flamethrower. "I'll do it Qrow, your going to break the needle", Oobleck offers to help because he's an expect on this anyway.
"I'm doing fine Doc", Qrow said as he carefully sticks the needle on Oobleck, Clover and Cardin are next.
"Well at least Qrow isn't drunk when he's giving the 3 of them an injection that's for sure", Winter mocks him for not being drunk when he was giving the trio injections.
"Hey, at least I wasn't drunk, otherwise it would have ended different if I was", Qrow said glaring at Winter while some snicker at him.
"You know there are times in some Alternate Universe that Qrow and Winter would become lovers and they eventually got married", both Qrow and Winter turn red when Hakaze reveals this.
"Let's continue on this shall we?" Hakaze said they continue watching.
"How's it going?" Jaune visits Oscar who is pouring over a book and several lie open on a desk.
"Nothing yet, but Jaune, I've been thinking, if our dogs changed by swallowing parts of that other one. We better see to it that everyone prepares their own food and we eat out of cans", Oscar says what they should do when they need to eat somehow.
"Better safe then sorry, they should prepare their own meal because it's not that easy to trust anyone if you can't tell who's what and who's not", James agrees with what Oscar suggested when they need to eat.
"Very understandable", Ozpin agrees too.
Everything seems very calm at the moment since the Alien Thing isn't going to show itself anytime soon. Meanwhile Jaune is leaving a message on a tape recorder for anyone to find encase none of them ever makes it out even if they manage to destroy the Alien Thing for good.
"I'm gonna hide this tape when I'm finished, if none of us make it out at least there will be evidences, the storm is pounding us very hard, nobody trust anyone anymore, where all very tired." Jaune paused and replay the tape before continue.
"One other thing, I think it rips through clothes when it takes you over. Jaune Arc, Bullhead Pilot Atlesian Outpost North 31", Jaune finish up and leaves to meet with the others.
"That's good that Jaune Arc leaves a recorded message for someone to find encase none of them make it even they manage to destroy the Alien Thing, because no one might leaving the outpost anyway after they are done", James said because he knows many Soldiers have done this many times already.
"You mean Fearless Leader might not survive even if they succeed on killing the Alien Thing", Nora ask if that's what he means.
"Because Peter destroyed all of their Vehicles and Aircrafts, so there is no way they can leave and get to either Mantle or Atlas", Hakaze explains to Nora.
Meanwhile, Oscar continues to work with Peter's research until a power failure caused everything in his area to go dark. He lights up a candle and stands up until someone he barely sees walks pass him, "who's that?" Oscar continues his search, grabs his winter coat and steps outside with a flare, until he finds a shredded clothing that says Jaune Arc.
"Oscar is planning something does he after finding that", Ruby said.
"Except what's Oscar is going to do after finding that shredded clothing of Jaune is offscreen." Hakaze told Ruby that what happens to Oscar is offscreen.
"Hey have you seen Oscar, somebody blew a fuse in the generator room", Jaune notice the power failure too and yet nobody knows what or who caused that and now Oscar is missing.
"Doesn't matter, we find Oscar and we burn him assuming he's the Alien Thing, Tai you go with Ren and check outside the shacks", Jaune toss them a torch.
"Sun you go with Mercury and check the inside", Jaune said but Mercury have some second thoughts.
"I ain't going with Sun, I'm going with Ren", what Mercury said made Sun snap.
"Well f#ck you Mercury!"
"Who said you can go with me?!" Ren joins the bickering, until Jaune slams the table to break it up.
"OKAY CUT THE BULLS#IT! Sun you come with me, Qrow you stay here, any of them moves incinerate them, you hear anything, sound the alarm. We all meet back here in 20 minutes regardless. And watch whoever you are with", Jaune breaks up the bickering and tells everybody what to do.
"Fearless Leader is mad", Nora comment after seeing him react like that, even the Arc Family and Pyrrha are shock at that.
"That's because they are bickering at the time like this", Ren said to her.
"At least they know they should just watch whoever they are with", Mercury said.
"But your being a wuss when you didn't want to go with Sun Wukong", Emerald mutters at him that making him glare at her.
Jaune with Tai steps outside with flares and get to Peter's shed to see if he knows something they don't. "Hey Peter", Jaune gets Peter's attention.
"Has Oscar been out here?" Jaune ask him and Peter approaches the boarded window.
"It ain't Oscar, you need let me back in", Peter said that it ain't Oscar and ask to be let back in but Jaune refuses.
"Still don't trust Peter", Ren commented about that part.
The winds are thick and vicious now, Jaune and Tai themselves are continue to look for Oscar wherever he is right now. Eventually they stumble upon Oscar who looks burned up.
"I we think found Oscar", Jaune said while shining the flare on his burnt remains.
"Why would he burn himself?" Tai ask why did Oscar do that himself.
"He must have wanted to avoid being assimilated so he burned himself before the Alien Thing can get to him", Jaune concluded after finding the flare that Oscar was originally using.
"So that means I committed suicide using my flare just to avoid assimilation", Oscar said while feeling freaked out for what is counterpart just did.
"Well Oscar, you rather not be the Alien Thing just like Neptune", Ruby said to him.
"We need to checkout my shack."
"Why?"
"Because I lock my door when I left", Jaune told Tai after seeing his shack door opened.
"I get the feeling the Alien Thing was there", Qrow said to everyone.
"Could be", Tai said.
The storm continues and everybody else still inside is still waiting for Jaune and Tai. "How long they've been out now?" Ren ask Qrow how long that Jaune and Tai have been gone.
"45 minutes", Qrow answer why his feeling somewhat strange causing the audiences but some only to worry.
"What's up with uncle Qrow?" Ruby ask after seeing something's up with him.
"Qrow is having a problem with his heart Ruby, or that's what you all think", Hakaze answer, but later on they will see what's going to happen.
Anyway since Jaune and Tai are taking took long they decided to barricade the doors thinking this will prevent the Alien Thing from coming in.
"All of you! Come here!" Qrow notice somebody is coming from outside and alerts everyone else while his heart problem is getting stronger, after they open the door they find Tai coming in.
"Where's Jaune", Mercury ask what happened to Jaune.
"I cut him loose of the line up by his shack", Tai revealed but he's being specific about that.
"What do you mean cut him loose?" Ren wonders what's that mean anyway.
"When we were poking around his place, I found this mutilated", Tai pulls out a clothing.
"It was stashed in his old coal furnace, wind must have dislodged it, I don't think he saw me find it. I made sure I got ahead of him on the towline on the way back and I cut him loose", Tai explains which could mean Jaune might be infected by the Alien Thing.
"Jaune is a Alien Thing", Tai says much to the audiences shock.
"No not my baby boy!" Melissa Arc becomes horrified that Jaune is infected.
"Oh Jaune", Pyrrha also worries.
"Still here Pyrrha", Jaune said wrapping his arms around her.
"Vomit-Boy is the Alien Thing?" Yang ask but Hakaze corrects them.
"Actually, Jaune isn't infected, they just think that", Hakaze told them which gave them some relief.
"When do you think the Alien Thing got to Jaune", Sun ask Tai.
"Could have been anytime and anywhere", Mercury guess although Ren looks at Tai suspicious.
"If it did get to Jaune", Ren said being suspicious
"Look Ren", Tai tries to explain further until someone knocks at the door which they can tell it's Jaune whom they all believe is infected.
"Let's open up and then let's fry him", Mercury suggested they open the door for Jaune and then they incinerate him.
"Guys what if were wrong about Jaune?" Sun suspects what if they are wrong that Jaune isn't infected at all, until they here a broken window on another room.
"The supply window!" Mercury said and they all get there but Jaune is already inside holding a stick of dynamite and flare to light it up.
"Anyway who messes with me the whole outpost is going up", Jaune threatens them which gave them a standoff and Jaune means it as everyone back away form him.
As Jaune moves forward, Tai and Qrow who silently crept in and attack Jaune but he easily overpowers both of them and pushed them aside. "So help me and I mean it!" Jaune said as Tai crawls away quickly.
"Okay Jaune, it's cool we ain't near you", Tai said and they all notice Qrow has passed out, Tai checks him out.
"Qrow isn't breathing", Tai said.
"Qrow was actually having a heart attack", Hakaze tells what's up with Qrow before.
"I hope he is okay", Ruby worries unaware what's about to come next.
"Go untie Doc and get him in here, bring the others too", Jaune said as he puts that flare away and the dynamite too.
Next, they bring Qrow to the infirmary and they lay him on the table, then Ooblecks gets to work on reviving him. First he puts an oxygen mask and then opens his shirt, meanwhile Jaune has his BT X-42 Flamethrower and more dynamite with him.
"So you sweethearts had yourselves a little trial. I just may have to kill you on general principle", Jaune said while Oobleck begins swathing Qrow's chest with a gelatin.
"Even if it occur to that anybody could have gotten to some of my clothes and stuck them up", Jaune is talking about the shredded clothes.
"We ain't buying that Jaune", Ren said to him.
"Quit bickering and hand me that heart chargers", Oobleck demanded and Sun gives it to him, also Cardin secretly grabs a surgical knife without anyone noticing.
"Cardin is up to something", Nora said after they all notice that.
"Clear", Oobleck takes first try on reviving Qrow using defibrillation the first try fails as Oobleck listen to Qrow's heart that's not pupping at all.
"Again! Clear", but unexpected Qrow opens up revealing it to be a mouth with sharp teeth and chomps both of Oobleck's forearms as soon as he brings them down with the defibrillation.
This jolt some of the audiences, while Qrow rubs his stomach.
"AHHHHHHH!" Oobleck roars in a pain and rips out both his forearms when attempts to pull them out.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" Oobleck them falls on the floor dead.
"Uncle Qrow was an Alien Thing?" Ruby said shock and horrified alongside the rest of the family and friends while Oobleck is rubbing both his forearms.
"Well that explains why Qrow was having a heart attack because the Alien Thing was infecting him completely", Ozpin said in theory.
What happens next, green stuff starts popping out Qrow which is a strange looking monstrous Alien Thing with Qrow's head and starts roaring at them. Jaune incinerates Qrow-Thing with his BT X-42 Flamethrower killing it. Unknown them, Qrow's head rips itself out the burning body and falls on the floor and use is long tongue to get somewhere to hide.
"Oh I think we are going to have a run away head", Blake said while some tries to control themselves from vomiting.
"Wait", Jaunes tells them to wait before he allows them to put the fire out, Qrow-Thing's head starts growing some long eyes and spider legs and then attempt escape from them, until Mercury notices it which gets everyone's attention.
"You got to be f#cking kidding?" Mercury said as everyone turns around to see the Spider Qrow-Thing.
Then Jaune incinerates Spider Qrow-Thing that starts wobbling around while making some strange sounds until dies.
"So much for a Spider Qrow-Thing from escaping", Raven comment while Qrow has his heads on his head.
"Could have been worse", Vernal said.
