On a peaceful night in the outskirts of Jasper Nevada, inside the Autobot base Optimus Prime and Ratchet were enjoying the silence and tranquility as both of them were at computers just monitoring things,so far nothing too exciting or important to report, that is until Optimus Prime got a little reading on the atmospheric sensors and saw that something was there, slowly moving along the atmospheric line before it suddenly bolted down heading towards the earth.
Optimus narrowed his eyes curiously at the object moving down to earth according to the computer it wasn't a meteor or some space debris it was instead a vessel or a space craft. "Ratchet something is entering Earth's atmosphere and it's moving fast,and it's cybertronian."Optimus said making Ratchet turn to look at him curiously "Autobot or Decepticon?"Ratchet asked hoping it was an Autobot Optimus looked at the screen again and it didn't have the answer to that question "Unknown."Optimus Prime responded with a noticeable edge in his voice.
A cybertronian space craft with no clear allegiance to autobot or Decepticon this was alarming "where is it heading,anywhere in particular?"Ratchet asked Optimus looked at the trajectory of the object and saw that it appeared to be heading towards the Mojave Desert.
"It's going here."Optimus Prime said pointing at the picture "Shall I call the others?"Ratchet asked Optimus thought about that but decided not to pull them away from curbside duty, especially since Arcee is locked in Jack's garage and can't go anywhere without alarming June Darby "No I will confront this mysterious force myself."Optimus Prime said with seriousness in his voice.
Mojave Desert
The Moon and stars shined over the barely hospitable terrain of the desert ,the gentle warm breeze blew dust everywhere,just then a ground bridge opened up and out stepped Optimus Prime, he looked around at the mostly empty environment for any signs of something Cybertronian and remotely out of place. It was then his attention was brought to the sky above him where he saw something moving downward towards the ground and Optimus Prime began to notice the craft was a little bit small but sleek and slender with a blueish color,by Optimus Prime's optics it looked like the craft can house up too 2 bots.
The lights that emanated from the craft illuminated the desert slightly,Optimus Prime watched as the craft lowered and gently touched down on the ground with a whoosh and then the engines shut off and so did the lights putting everything into silent darkness. It was then Optimus Prime saw that a door on the side of the craft opened up and a ramp lowered to the ground and then Optimus Prime heard footsteps coming from the ship and that was when he saw someone step out of the ship, Whoever it was it had a masculine body frame,with a green and black coloring and the one key thing Optimus noticed is that this figure seemed to have both a car mode and a helicopter mode,a triple changer, Optimus Prime knew a large hand full of triple changers but there is one that comes to mind.
"Springer is that you?"Optimus Prime asked looking at this mysterious cybertronian who stopped at the bottom of the ramp and it stared at Optimus Prime with yellow glowing eyes. Given it was dark Optimus couldn't see his face clearly just a silhouette, the mysterious figure cocked his head to the side and then what he said or more asked surprised Optimus "Orion?"the figure asked in a confused voice.
Optimus Prime flinched a little from hearing the name Orion,that was a name he hadn't been called in a long long time, Optimus was about to say something but the mysterious stranger then jumped in the air and then transformed into a cybertronian helicopter and then flew off into the night sky.
Optimus prime watched as the stranger disappeared he looked between the ship and the sky before speaking into the com link "Ratchet I need a ground bridge immediately."Optimus Prime said as he stared at the ship.
The Next Morning
Optimus Prime was standing in front of the other Autobots with the intention to share what he encountered the previous night, "Autobots last night earth had and visitor from beyond the stars, in the form of a space craft of Cybertronian origin."Optimus Prime said making the autobots look at each other "another cybertronian has come to earth?"Bulkhead asked rather excitedly Bumblebee buzzed an important question "are they autobot or Decepticon?"
The autobots were praying to Primus that this mysterious cybertronian was an ally because they could use more of those than more Decepticons.
Optimus Prime hung his head and silence filled the room then Optimus looked at his team knowing what he'll say next will shock them to their core "After some extensive research I have discovered that this newcomer is neither of faction,but instead a missing cybertronian pilot long thought to have been deceased."Optimus prime said as he pressed a button on the control panel and popped an image of a cybertronian(his appearance is inspired by the infernac Shard armorizer,but with normal cybertronian parts).
"This is Windspear,I know you probably don't remember him but I do,we weren't exactly close he used to visit the hall of records from time to time and we would converse,long long before the war Windspear was a pilot who would test out new space ships for performance he was proficient at his job and he enjoyed it, however one faithful day supposedly marked the end of his career,he was called on to test a ship that had been modified to achieve warp speed, Windspear launched into space and activated the warp drive engine and disappeared never to be seen again."Optimus Prime explained.
The Autobots took in the story with great interest the Bulkhead spoke "so what is he doing here, and where has he been all this time?"Bulkhead asked "we'll have to search for him and ask him."Optimus Prime stated as a thought came into Arcee's mind about this whole situation "do you think the cons know about this newcomer as well?"She asked curiously Optimus Prime's eyes narrowed knowing the answer to that question, "I do not doubt they do."
