My mother used to tell me stories about a forest where they have a great prince of the forest. Of course I didn't believe in that. I didn't think that it's true, but she kept telling me that it's true. I decided to ask her, "If it's true, how come I never saw him?" That caused her to look at me in surprise. She said, "Just because you can't see this prince doesn't mean he's not there." I took her word for it.
Then she handed me some things that were once hers, a carving knife with a carving of a deer, a bow that has a carving shape of an owl and an amulet that is jade blue. I was in awe. They look amazing. She then said, "These were once mine when I was about your age Carly, but now I want you to have them." I put on the amulet and was still in awe.
Mom then suggested, "Why don't you go to the woods with your dogs?" I then said, "Sure Mom, I'll give it a go." I got my labrador, golden retriever and hound dog and went outside. My labrador is named Honey, my golden retriever is named Sunny and my hound dog is named Ryder. Honey and Sunny are females while Ryder is male. They're all eight weeks old.
It was nice of my mom to give me her knife, bow and amulet. Then I began to notice my mother's knife, bow and amulet starting to glow. That's strange, what's happening? What's going on?
Before I had time to react, a flash of yellow and green surrounded me and my dogs. It then spun us around. Man this is like a wild ride in an amusement park. Then we landed with a loud thud.
I groaned. Then I looked around and there I found that everything is very different. There are tons of trees and that's when I realized that I'm not close to civilization. There's no sign of it. I then said, "Honey, Sunny, Ryder, I have a very good feeling that we're not at home anymore."
We must be in some sort of forest.
