It's no secret, I've been around the block for a very long time. In May it will mark 10 years that I've been doing this. In that span of time I have created a notorious reputation for myself as the guy who will start a project but never finish that and it's hindered me along the way but one story in particular kinda changed all of that for me and that fic was none other than Destiny and while I am still writing that fic, I've kinda reached a stalemate so to speak. I was re-reading it and I felt like I could've done better. I felt like I needed to do better so that's what this is. This is Destiny: Redux. So I hope you guys enjoy and stick around for later chapters.
Chapter I: Opportunities Arise
October 2018 - London, England
It was late in the night as the dimly lit moon lit up the dark British skyline. Standing on the balcony of a hotel room in the city stood a 6'3, 250-plus pound African American male looking out over the city. He took a deep breath, his broad shoulders rising and falling as he exhaled, feeling the cool night air against his face. His name, Cedric Harvey and he was a Professional Wrestler.
Cedric Harvey had spent the past few nights wrestling in small sold-out arenas wrestling for Insurgence Wrestling, his larger-than-life persona captivating the crowd with every move he made in the ring. The deafening roars of the spectators still echoed in his ears, but now, as he stood on the balcony, a sense of tranquility washed over him.
The moonlit cityscape stretched out before him, a vast playground of possibilities. Cedric had always been a man of action, fueled by adrenaline and competition. But tonight, he had a very rare moment to sit back and think about everything that was going on in his life. Tonight he was in the main event of the first ever Insurgence Wrestling Pay-Per-View event, Glitch in the System hosted live in Wembley Arena. The Pay-Per-View event was set to be shown live in the US, Canada, Japan and across the United Kingdom.
The stakes were higher than they had ever been before and Cedric knew this and felt this in his core. This event was the biggest event in the history of Insurgence Wrestling and as the unofficial face of the company, Cedric understood the weight of responsibility that rested on his broad shoulders. He had become more than just a wrestler; he was a symbol, an embodiment of resilience, strength, and passion. The success of Glitch in the System would not only elevate his career but also shape the future of Insurgence Wrestling.
As he gazed into the distance, the moon's gentle glow seemed to whisper words of encouragement and determination. Cedric closed his eyes, visualizing the electrifying atmosphere of the arena, the sea of passionate fans who would be cheering him on, and the rivalries that had built up to this moment.
In his mind, he replayed the countless hours of training with Reginald King as a 16 year old with dreams of being a superstar wrestler, the arduous workouts, and the injuries he had to overcome. The years spent away from family. The time he spent away from his home. Cedric's journey had been filled with sacrifices, both physical and emotional, but he had never let adversity define him. He had always risen to the challenge, pushing his limits and inspiring others along the way.
He had wrestled all over the world and alot of that was thanks to Insurgence Wrestling. Insurgence was the same company that had given him the first opportunity to compete for a World title when he was given his shot at the Insurgence World Heavyweight Championship, the same belt he had won and the same belt he was competing for in the main event of the show.
Some may say that he hadn't done much in the business but tonight he was looking to prove otherwise. Tonight was not just about winning a championship belt or securing his place in wrestling history—it was about proving that dreams could come true, no matter the odds.
With a renewed sense of purpose, he stepped back from the balcony and into his hotel room. It was time to prepare for the biggest night of his career. He reached for his phone, eager to check his notifications, only to find yet another message from Paul Levesque regarding NXT. The recurring inquiries from Levesque had become a regular occurrence. He knew a chance to wrestle for NXT, ultimately for the WWE was his dream but he needed to finish his business in Insurgence first.
Setting the phone aside, Cedric turned his attention to his luggage. He knew that a victory tonight would undoubtedly secure him a coveted spot on the top 100 list of Indy Wrestlers. If he emerged triumphant, not only would he reclaim the title of Insurgence World Heavyweight Champion, but it would mark his second reign as a World Champion, silencing any doubts and proving his worthiness beyond mere luck.
He grabbed his workout gear and marched on to the bathroom to get himself ready. He looked up and caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror. The reflection staring back at him embodied strength, perseverance, and the spirit of a champion.
Now he was no prime Rome Flynn or Trevante Rhodes or Michael B. Jordan for that matter but by most standards, he was an individual who was considered widely attractive by the female audience and someone would potentially be a dark horse for GQ magazine. He was blessed with clear and flawless caramel-brown skin, giving him a warm and inviting complexion. His face had a rectangular shape to it with a chiseled jawline. His lips well-defined and shaped with a perfect balance befitting his face with a slightly pronounced cupid's bow. His nose was straight and proportioned, with a subtle bridge and well-defined nostrils, harmonizing with the rest of his facial features. The tip of his nose had a slight rounding, paying homage to his heritage. His ears, slightly rounded at the top with defined lobes, were proportionate to his facial features. His hair was cut in a black, low-cut style with faded sides and back, adding a touch of modernity to his appearance. Well-groomed, it complemented his facial features nicely.
But it was Ced's eyes that captivated most people and caught their attention. Described as chocolate brown, they resembled melted pools of chocolate, expressive and capable of conveying a wide range of emotions. Above his eyes, he had well-groomed black eyebrows that enhanced his intense gaze. Within his left eyebrow, a cut within that brow, a stark reminder of his first ever wrestling match.
Physically, Ced possessed a herculean physique looking as if he were chiseled out of stone like a greek god. His body was toned and muscular, boasting a strong chest, defined arms and broad shoulders, and six-pack abs. His hands were somewhat large and calloused, evidence of his time spent in the gym and physical work. Though he didn't have a smile on his face at the moment, his teeth were well-maintained and had a pearly white color to them. Whenever he did smile, his eyes would crinkle at the corners, adding a touch of warmth and charm to his overall appearance.
Adorned upon his captivating physique were a few carefully selected tattoos, each holding a significant meaning and adding to the tapestry of his unique identity. The most prominent of these was the roaring lion head tattoo, boldly etched on his upper right bicep. The intricately detailed design breathed life into the majestic beast, its fierce eyes and ferocious mane capturing the essence of strength and courage. This same emblematic lion head graced the back of his wrestling trunks, a symbol of his unwavering tenacity and dominance in the ring.
As the eye traveled down his arm, another tattoo commanded attention on the underside of his right forearm. A delicate rose, its petals in full bloom, stood as a symbol of beauty and resilience. Nestled among the petals, a clock stood frozen at 5:53, forever capturing a poignant moment in time. Encircling the tattoo, ribbons gracefully wound their way, each ribbon bearing the names of those who held a special place in his heart. The names of his mother, paternal grandmother, and maternal grandmother were lovingly inscribed, forever honoring the important women who shaped his life.
The tattoos were not merely ink on skin; they were a visual narrative, a testament to the depths of his emotions and the connections he held dear. Each stroke of the artist's needle had been carefully chosen, imbued with personal significance and the stories that shaped his journey.
These tattoos, with their striking imagery and heartfelt symbolism, added an extra layer of intrigue to his already magnetic presence. They were a glimpse into his soul, showcasing the strength, loyalty, and love that resided within him. The lion, the rose, and the names etched forever upon his skin were a testament to his unwavering spirit and the profound impact of his familial bonds.
Those same bonds were the bonds that made him the man that he was today. He took a deep breath and went on to prepare himself for the competition he would embark on tonight.
Cedric walked around the backstage of Wembley Arena in his ring gear. His ring attire was a reflection of his fierce persona, designed to command attention and strike fear into the hearts of his opponents. The ring trunks, crafted with meticulous attention to detail, bore his ring name emblazoned across the front in bold, capital letters. The letters were expertly stitched, each one standing as a testament to his identity within the wrestling world. The font chosen exuded power and confidence, leaving no doubt as to his dominance in the squared circle.
As the eye traveled to the back of the trunks, a striking sight awaited. The roaring lion head, the same emblematic tattoo that adorned his shoulder, was replicated in stunning detail. The ferocious beast seemed to leap to life, its powerful jaws opened wide in a perpetual roar, symbolizing his unyielding strength and indomitable spirit. The intricacy of the design, highlighted by shadows and highlights, added depth and realism to the majestic creature.
Completing his wrestling attire were black AMA Knee pro Kneepads with that provided both protection and a touch of intimidation. Their sleek appearance added a sense of professionalism and readiness, while also serving as a visual reminder of the physicality that awaited any who dared to step into the ring with him. His boots, sturdy and snug, were black as well, exuding an air of authority and purpose cutting to the middle of the calves. With each step, they echoed his presence, leaving an indelible mark on the canvas.
To complete the ensemble, his wrists were adorned with tape, wrapped meticulously to provide support and stability during his intense matches. The black tape, contrasting against his skin, added a touch of aggression and purpose to his movements. It spoke of a warrior preparing for battle, every inch of his body primed for action.
The color scheme for tonight's show featured black trunks with his ring name and emblem in white with teal outline around the logos bringing attention to their design.
"HARVEY!" Cedric's last name echoed through the air, causing him to turn around to face a determined brunette woman striding toward him. It was none other than Bridgette Monroe, the CEO of Insurgence Wrestling and his boss. While Cedric had shared a flirtatious rapport with her on occasion, Bridgette was known to most as Ms. Monroe, allowing only a select few to address her by her first name—her father and Cedric himself.
"Bridgette," Cedric acknowledged, his gaze meeting the shorter woman's as she closed the distance between them. Standing at around 5'4 with captivating brown hair and eyes, she exuded an aura of authority.
"Ced, I need you out there immediately!" Bridgette's voice held urgency.
"What? My match isn't scheduled for another five minutes," Cedric replied, momentarily taken aback.
"Well, the Heritage Championship match ended prematurely due to Lee's injury," Bridgette explained swiftly.
"Alright, but I hope this results in a little extra on my next paycheck," Cedric quipped, a playful grin forming on his face as he swiftly made his way toward the Gorilla position. Bridgette spun on her heels, her eyes momentarily tracing his figure as he sprinted toward the entrance, a mix of admiration and anticipation in her gaze.
"Crazy" by A Skylit Drive Hits
The fans in Wembley Arena popped up to their feet cheering loudly while the lights around the arena started to move around in a frenzy of different colors as smoke started to rise up on the stage. Ced emerged from the back walking through the smoke as he looked down at the stage floor. He slowly raised his head looking up with a frown before he spat out a mist of water and started to make his stride down the ramp.
He walked down the ramp soaking up the energy in the arena with a frown on his face. Once he made it ringside, he paused looking around the aerna before walking up the steps and stepping onto the apron before walking inside the ring making a beeline to the corner. He jumped up to the turnbuckle and looked around at the crowd before he extended his arms wide soaking up the adulation from the fans with a pose that he had started doing a few months ago. He jumped down from the turnbuckle as his music faded away.
"Jekyll and Hyde" by Five Finger Death Punch Hits
The lights in the arena turned down low as "Jekyll and Hyde" played on the PA system. A 6'8 Caucasian with long jet black hair and jet black beard walked out onto the stage clad in a simple pair of black tights with studs and chains (think Damien Priest tights) with black boots. In his grasp was the Insurgence World Heavyweight Championship, a title that looked just like the TNA World Heavyweight Championship belt used from 2011 to 2017 with the Insurgence Wrestling logo replacing the TNA Wrestling emblem.
Draven Nightshade looked around the arena before he bent down and slowly rose up raising the title into the air as the lights turned back to their normal hue. Draven sauntered down the ramp as the fans booed him while Ced stared on looking to finally conquer his demons and beat Draven tonight.
Draven walked around to the steel steps and ran up the steps entering the ring walking towards Ced looking on with a frown as he raised the title high into the air. Ced started jawiing off at the Champion as Draven simply looked on with a sadistic smile until the official got in between the two separating each other.
Ding…
Ding…

"The following contest is your main event of the evening and is scheduled for one fall and is for the Insurgence World Heavyweight Championship!" announced the beautiful irish ring announcer, Lexi O'Connell.
"Introducing first, the challenger to my right, he weighing in this morning at 250 Pounds and hails from Charlotte, North Carolina. He is the #1 Contender, Ced!" Lexi announced as Ced looked while the fans cheered him on.
"And the challenger to my left, he weighed in this morning at 308 Pounds. He is the Insurgence World Heavyweight Champion: "The Grim Reaper" Draven Nightshade!" The boos started raining in for the World Champion who simply handed the belt off to the official as he locked eyes with his challenger.
The official walked towards the center of th eirng and raised the title into the air as the fans cheered before walking over to the ropes and hand it off to the stage crew before calling for the bell.
Ding-Ding-Ding!
The crowd erupted in a thunderous roar as the anticipation reached its peak. The atmosphere was electric, filled with the fervent energy of wrestling fans witnessing history unfold. Cedric and Draven Nightshade locked eyes, fully aware of the magnitude of this moment. The cheers and chants reverberated throughout the Wembley Arena, fueling their determination.
With measured steps, Cedric and Draven made their way towards the center of the ring, each step punctuated by the deafening cheers of the crowd. The anticipation grew with every moment, as the audience hung on to the edge of their seats. Cedric, standing at 6'3, looked up at the towering 6'8 frame of Draven Nightshade, the current Insurgence World Heavyweight Champion.
Cedric, never one to shy away from a verbal confrontation, began jawing off at Draven, hurling fiery insults and trash talk. He was determined to get under Draven's skin, to rattle the seemingly unbothered champion. Draven, however, maintained his stoic composure, his gaze unwavering.
The tension in the ring was palpable as the two competitors exchanged heated words. The crowd's anticipation reached a fever pitch, waiting for the first move to ignite the explosive clash between these fierce rivals. Cedric's heart pounded in his chest, his focus sharpened to a laser-like intensity. This was more than just a match—it was personal.
Ced was the first to throw a punch to which Draven fired back with a hard right hand. Ced took the shot and fired back another right hand to which Draven fired another one back. And before you knew it these two were brawling throwing punches back and forth until Draven got the advantage hitting Ced with an uppercut that sent him stumbling back to the corner. Draven walked towards Ced and started to pile on a series of right hands making Ced grunt with each blow. He kept this assault going until he was pulled off by the official.
Draven snapped his head back causing his hair to be thrown from his face before he launched a ferocious tirade, berating the official with biting words. As Draven turned his attention back towards Ced, the latter swiftly seized the opportunity, grabbing hold of the imposing 6'8, 308-pound man and forcefully hurling him into the corner. With relentless determination, Ced launched into a brutal assault, unleashing a relentless barrage of punishing strikes. The crowd's roar reached a crescendo as Ced's onslaught continued, his relentless assault leaving Draven reeling in the corner. Ced's boots found their mark, relentlessly targeting Draven's midsection, followed by a calculated move where he pressed his boot against Draven's throat, applying pressure until the official intervened, forcing Ced to release his grip.
Gasping for breath, The challenger pushed the official aside, his eyes fixated on Draven, who struggled to regain his footing. With a fierce determination, Ced seized a handful of Draven's hair, yanking him upright, and forcing him to stand face-to-face before clocking him with a right hand making him stumble back into the corner. Ced grabbed Draven by the wrist and tried to send him into the corner but Draven reversed it as if he were going to send Ced into the corner but kicked him in the gut instead.
Draven grabbed Ced by the wrist and pulled him into a shoulder block making Ced drop down to knee but held onto the wrist. Ced popped back up to his feet and was pulled into a clothesline that sent him down to the canvas. Draven dropped down to the canvas with hook of the leg.

2, Ced powered out at 2. Draven rose up to his feet looking on with a frown as he bent down grabbing him by the head and neck and forcing him to his feet. Draven clocked Ced with another uppercut making him stumble into the corner. Draven grabbed him by the throat squeezing the throat of Ced as the crowd started to boo. Draven looked on with a sadistic smile on his face before he release his hand on the throat at Ced coughed, gasping for air.
The current Insurgence Champion grabbed his challenger by the head and neck and clocked him with a headbutt making him drop down to a knee. Draven grabbed his challenger lifting him up to his feet once more before he whipped him across the ring. Ced's back collided with the turnbuckle and when he popped off he made a beeline towards Draven taking him with a clothesline. Ced leaned up against the ropes catching breath and his bearings as Draven crawled over to the corner.
The challenger of the Insurgence World Heavyweight Championship walked towards the Champion grabbing by the hair and lifting him up to his feet. Ced pulled him out of the corner and lifted him up for a vertical suplex putting him flat on his back. The young grappler stood up to his feet and backed up to the corner. He looked around the arena before he ran towards Draven jumping up into the air with elevation before crashing down a knee drop across the head of Draven.
Ced looking to seize the opportunity, hooked the leg.

2, Draven kicked out at 2. The challenger looked on with a frown as he looked at the official checking to see if he counted correctly. There was a lot of emotion in the building at the moment for both of these men. And both men refused to back down. Ced got up to a vertical base and bent down to grab Draven by the hair to try to force him up to a vertical base but Draven had other plans and grabbed Ced by the throat and pulled into a headbutt making him stumble away.
This provided Draven with enough time to rise up to his feet. Draven walked towards Ced who was leaning against the ropes, grabbing him and leading over to the corner before smashing his face into the turnbuckle. Draven showing some immense aggression as he started to pile on a series of knees to the midsection of Ced trying to wear him down with each knee. Draven grabbed Ced by the throat with both hands and tossed him damn near across the ring with a toss putting Ced flat on his back. Ced groaned as he laid on the canvas feeling the stinging sensation in his back. Draven looked around the arena with a frown as the fans were booing him as he was wearing down their hero. Ced took this chance and crawled over to the corner using the ropes to pull himself to a vertical base.
Draven turned towards Ced seeing the young stud up to his feet in the corner. Draven looked on with a sadistic smile before he ran towards Ced jumping up with elevation for a 6'8, 300 Pound and came colliding with Ced with a splash in the corner making Ced grunt as he felt the 300 pound man come flying full speed. But Draven wasn't done yet and grabbed Ced lifting him up momentarily before dropping him face-first with a snake eyes that caused Ced to stumble out of the corner.
Draven ran to the ropes using that momentum to come full-speed at Ced taking him down witha big boots that caught him straight in the mouth. Draven dropped down into the cover, hooking the leg.

2, Ced kicked out at 2 and rolled over onto his side with a dazed look on his face. Draven refusing to give the young stud any time to regroup, kicked Ced in the back causing the challenger to grunt as he rolled onto his abdomen. Seeing this gave Draven some ideas as a sick, twisted smile snaked its way onto his evil mug. The Champion rose up to his feet and jumped up into the air before he came across the spine with a big-time elbow drop making Ced groan he felt the pointed elbow of Draven hit his spine.
Draven looked on with a smirk as he watched Ced writhe in pain. Seeing Ced wince gave him pleasure that only a sick competitor like him loved. As Ced winced, you could see blood from the corners of his mouth perhaps a busted lip from that big boot that Draven laid him out with earlier. The self-apppointed "Grim Reaper of Insurgence Wrestling" walked towards Ced putting a knee on his spine making Ced groan out in pain before he started to put on a modified like chinlock in a camel clutch like manuever with the knee on the spine.
Ced screamed out in agony as he waved his arms around frantically as Draven looked to punish him. The fans were booing as Draven kept the hold locked on. Draven fueled by their boos, intensified the pressure, loving the displeasure he was causing Ced to experience. The former Insurgence World Champion found his opportunity as he clocked Draven with a elbow to the face causing Draven to somewhat loosen the hold. Seeing this as his opportunity, he clocked Draven with another elbow forcing Draven to release the hold completely as he rose up to his feet, stumbling away while Ced rolled away to the ropes to get some reprieve.
Ced grabbed a hold of the ropes using them to help him reach a vertical base. The challenger ran towards Draven only for the latter to lift him up into the air and spin him around before dropping him in a back suplex, a move that had put out many Insurgence wrestlers a move he called Deep Regret. The fans booed as Draven quickly hurried into the cover.

Thr-NO, Ced kicked out right before the officials hand reached the 3 count. Draven looked up at the official with disbelief as Ced just kicked out one of his trademarked moves, a move that had put out many talent before.
The Insurgence World Champion grabbed Ced by the head and neck and hit him with an uppercut making Ced stumble back into the corner. The young stud stood stood in the corner as Draven Nightshade came running in at full hitting Ced with a corner clothesline, Nightshade whipped him across the ring and ran towards him again clotheslining him in the corner. Nightsade whipped him across the ring and ran towards him clotheslining him in the corner. The Champion whipped him across the ring once more and ran towards him clotheslining him again. As Ced came stumbling out of the corner, Draven grabbed him and put him down with a sidewalk slam. The World Champion looked at his challenger and started to chuckle sadistically as he was punishing this young kid who had been a thorne in his side.
"The Grim Reaper" got up to his feet and backed up into the ropes and hopped up and as he came down, he struck across the throat of Ced with a leg drop making Ced clutch his throat as he rolled around on the mat.
"You asked for this," Draven shouted at Ced. Ced rolled over to the ropes and started to use them to slowly rise up to his feet. He leaned up against the ropes as he told Draven to 'bring it'. The World Champion ran towards Ced and tried to clothesline Ced but he was flipped over the top rope but "The Reaper" held onto the top rope and used them to pull himself onto the apron as Ced ran to the ropes. Ced came off the ropes and flew through the ropes with a SPEAR THROUGH THE ROPES SENDING HIM AND DRAVEN CRASHING TO THE ARENA FLOOR.
The Insurgence Wrestling fans were cheering as both Champion and challenger both laid on the outside with both men staring up at the lights thriving in pain as they panted for their breath. The official started his count as the fans were cheering. The challenger was the first to rise up as he gripped onto the steel barricade to rise up to his feet. He bolted into the ring under the bottom rope breaking the referee's count at 5. He popped up to his feet and hit the ropes as Draven had slowly reached a vertical base. CED LIKE A MADMAN, FLEW THROUGH THE ROPES PUSHING DRAVEN BACK FIRST INTO THE BARRICADE.
The challenger looked like a man possessed as he looked around Wembley Arena shaking his head as the fans cheered him on. He bent down grabbing Draven by the head and neck and threw him into the ropes under the bottom rope. Ced was fired up as he was back into the match. It was now his time to fight back and stood in the corner waiting for Draven to get up to his feet as the fans cheered and clapped their hands getting into the match. The Champion rose up to his feet groggily still feeling the effects of Ced's assault. Draven Nightshade turned around and Ced ran towards him looking for a spear but Draven had other plans with a boot to the face stopping Ced in his tracks. The young challenger stared up at the lights dazed as Draven stumbled to the ropes leaning up against them to get a breather.
The challenger mustering up some strength slowly crawled to the corner and rested on the bottom turnbuckle panting for his breath. The Champion seeing this walked towards his challenger and started to pile on a series of boots to the chest. The fans booed fueling Draven even more on his hellacious assault on the challenger. Draven grabbed him, forcing him up to his feet. Draven grabbed the 250 pound, Ced and lifted up to his shoulder for a powerslam but Ced had managed to get out of the hold and push Draven into the ropes. As "The Reaper" rebounded off the ropes, Ced put him down with a Double C Spinebuster making the fans nearly go in a frenzy as Ced was fighting back. Ced with the hook of the leg.

"Crazy" by A Skylit Drive Plays
"Heres your winner and the NEW Insurgence World Heavyweight Champion: Ced!" Lexi announced as Ced slowly rose up to his roar of the Wembley Arena was ear-splitting as the referee raised Ced's hand in victory.
As his theme hit the PA system, confetti rained from the rafters, Ced collapsed to his knees - overwhelmed by the significance of this climactic moment. All of his sacrifices, all of the blood, sweat and tears, had led to this supreme coronation.
Through the haze of exhaustion, Ced gazed up at the official who handed him the title. Ced held the title close to his chest. He slowly found his footing as the crowd cheered as he raised the title once more.
Cedric walked through the curtain, feeling the weight of the intense 30-minute contest catching up to him. His muscles ached, and he could feel the fatigue seeping into every fiber of his being. As he made his way backstage, a mixture of relief and accomplishment washed over him.
But as he walked through the backstage area, still clutching the title in his hand, he was met with a heartwarming surprise. A chorus of claps erupted from the fellow talent gathered nearby, their faces adorned with genuine smiles of admiration and respect.
They congratulated Cedric on his hard-fought victory, acknowledging the physical and mental toll he had endured during the match.
The sound of their applause reverberated in Cedric's ears, momentarily drowning out the weariness he felt. It was a reminder that he was not alone on this journey, that his peers recognized his efforts and celebrated his success.
Minutes later, Cedric found himself in a quiet corner of the backstage area. He leaned against a crate, still wearing a towel around his neck, and a water bottle in hand. Setting the water bottle down, he took a moment to gather his thoughts.
With the title belt placed on his lap, he stared at it intently. The gleaming gold and intricate design were undeniable symbols of his achievements, the culmination of months of hard work and sacrifice. But as he looked at the title, something stirred within him.
At only 21 years old, Cedric knew he had so much more to prove to the world. The indy scene, while valuable in its own right, felt limiting. He craved a broader platform, an opportunity to showcase his skills and leave an indelible mark on the wrestling industry.
A sigh escaped his lips as he set the title belt aside, his gaze shifting upward to the ceiling. Thoughts swirled in his mind, a mix of ambition, determination, and a touch of uncertainty. He knew that there was a bigger stage waiting for him, one where he could truly make his mark and prove his worth.
In that moment, as he contemplated his next move, Cedric's resolve grew stronger. The applause and support from his fellow talent served as fuel, propelling him forward on his path to greatness. With his eyes fixed on the ceiling, he silently vowed to continue pushing himself, seeking opportunities that would allow him to shine on a grander stage.
After Cedric's gaze lingered on the ceiling, lost in contemplation, his attention shifted to the phone resting beside him on the crate. With a sense of purpose, he reached for it and unlocked the screen, immediately navigating to the messages exchanged between himself and Paul.
As he scrolled through the conversation, his fingers danced across the screen, typing out a message that held the potential to alter the course of his life. "I'm Ready, let's set up a meet," he typed, his heart pounding with a mix of anticipation and determination. He stared at the words on the screen, recognizing the weight they carried. This was a pivotal choice, a decision that could redefine his journey.
Taking a deep breath, Cedric summoned the courage to press the send button. With a simple tap, his message flew through the digital realm, off to Paul, the gateway to his future. He watched as the message vanished from the screen, leaving behind a sense of excitement and uncertainty.
Time seemed to stretch as he waited for a response, moments feeling like an eternity. Hunter, the name that appeared on his screen, displayed a message within three minutes. "Great. I'll set up a time for you to come to the headquarters. See you soon," the response read. Cedric's heart raced at the confirmation, a surge of adrenaline coursing through his veins.
