To all my readers, if you don't like the way I write Beast Morphers, then you don't have to read it and this goes for all of my Power Ranger fanfics, both current and future ones. I'm not gonna force you to read them.
A word of warning, to those of you who like to announce the next chapter (i.e. episode) title of the fanfic, don't ever do that. It's extremely annoying to me and I don't like it. If you continue to do it again for all of my Power Rangers fanfics, you will be blocked until I have posted more than enough Power Rangers stories in order for me to trust you again. You know who you are because it's not a joke and I'm not playing around. As always, no negativity and Happy Reading!

"After years of waiting, we are now just hours away from when Mayor Daniels will pull the switch for the first time and clean Morph-X energy will flow from the Power rangers Morphin' Grid into the towers all around Coral Harbor." said a female broadcaster. "We're tapping into the energy source that gives the Power Rangers their heroic abilities. Is this a stroke of genius that will save the planet from pollution? Or is it, in fact, a dangerous mistake? Today is the day we'll find out."
"Good energy, guys." said a guy at Riptide Gym. "Two."
Inside the gym, a martial arts class was in session. "Three." said the instructor, as the students did their punches. "Four. Five. Six. Seven. Eight."
He then was walking between the students. "Good." he said, as he looks over at one of the students. "Nine. Ten. One. Two. Hey." He stops Devon, an African American student with headphones in his ears.
"Buddy."
"What's that?" he asked.
"We're not disturbing you, are we?" asked the instructor.
"No, not at all. I was just, um…" he said, but losing his words. "I see. That was sarcasm."
"The only way you're going to learn karate is by following what I do…" he said. "and practicing."
"Totally agree." said Devon. "Just waiting on you to teach moves that are a little bit more…challenging?"
"You want moves that are more challenging? Is that it?" asked the instructor.
"That'd be great." said Devon. The instructor kicks as Devon ducks. "Whoa! That was really close."
"Blaze. Leave him alone." said another boy.
"Back off, Ravi." said Blaze and goes again after Devon. As they spared, Devon goes over Blaze and catches his arm.
"Careful. Someone's gonna get hurt." Devon tells him.
"That someone is you." said Blaze and the spare continues until he hits his hand on a metal pole.
"Tried to warn you." said Devon.
Blaze then grabs a wooden pole and swings it angrily at Devon, who then dodges it. The spare continues on until a girl behind Ravi calls out, "Blaze, stop it!" Blaze didn't let up and Devon grabs the other wooden pole from him.
"Hyah!"
Devon knocks the pole out of Blaze's hand and catches it. "Ok, I'll admit…a couple of your moves were a little….challenging." said Devon as he ended the spare.
"Devon!" said a stern voice, causing him to turn around.
"Hey, dad." he said, smiling weakly.
"His dad's the mayor." said the girl.
"You are leaving…now!" said Mayor Daniels. Devon sighs as he hands over the wooden poles to Blaze.
"Thanks for the lesson, Blaze." said Devon.
"This isn't over." said Blaze.
"Imagine my shock finding you at the gym when you were supposed to be at a job interview." said Mayor Daniels once they were in the limo. "After the strings I pulled for to set it for you, you just…blew it off."
"Yeah, well, I don't know anything about cleaning carpets." Devon said.
"But you're an expert at video games and karate." said the Mayor. "Son, those aren't gonna take you anywhere. You have so much potential, Devon."
Devon wasn't paying attention to his father; he was just more focused on playing the video game on his phone. "Someday opportunity will knock, and I just want you to be ready." Mayor Daniels tells him, then looks up at his driver. "Drop me up ahead, at Grid Battleforce Headquarters."
"You're going into Grid Battleforce?" asked Devon, his attention rapt.
"Unfortunately." he said.
"Rumor is they have this incredible battle simulator…supposed to be unbeatable. Can I come?" Devon asked.
"Absolutely not." said Mayor Daniels, placing his glasses on. "That's where they tapped into the Morphin grid. This whole Morph-X experiment is a dangerous mistake."
Without looking at his son, Devon looks down and sees that his father had a visitor's pass, taking a quick picture of it. "I don't want you to go near that place." Mayor Daniels said to Devon. "Not today, not tomorrow, not ever."
"What's that?" Devon asked, pretending not to pay attention again.
The mayor's limo pulls up to Grid Battleforce. "I'll see you at home." said the mayor and steps out of the car.
"Sure dad." said Devon. Devon rolls down the window, watching his father walk inside and just as the car is about to drive off, he knew what he needed to do.
"Hold it." he said, stopping the car and unbuckling himself. "Thanks. I can take it from here. I do love a challenge."
"I'm here to see the commander." said Mayor Daniels, showing his visitor's pass at the front desk.
"Hmm." said the girl at front desk, looking closely at the pass and at the mayor. "That looks a lot like you."
"It is me." said Mayor Daniels.
"Well, we'll see about that, won't we?" she asked. "Retinal Scanner!"
"Coming!" shouted her brother, bringing the scanner.
"Stay right there, sir!" said the girl and hands her brother the retinal scanner.
"You won't even know it's on." said her brother. He then pressed the button and it suddenly buzzed. He tries again but got the same result when it suddenly flashed in his eyes.
"Hey!" shouted the mayor when the girl did it. "Is it really necessary?"
Unbeknownst to the mayor, Devon walks in behind him. "Body scan!" said the girl and her brother takes a scan of the mayor.
"Relax." said the brother.
"I'm…I'm…I'm ticklish." Mayor Daniels said laughing.
"No, no, no, no." said the mayor's assistant and Devon walks by without being seen by his father.
"(Laughs) I'm a bit ticklish." said Mayor Daniels. Devon walks up and the scanner scans the picture of the id he took. "Stop! Stop! Just-Hey! Don't do that!" Mayor Daniels said, trying to get him to stop. "Just stop! Do you know who I am?"
"I do. You're Mayor Daniels." said a girl with blond hair who was carrying laundry.
"Huh? The Mayor?" said both brother and sister as they looked at each other.
"That's right." said the other girl.
"Welcome to grid battle force…(chuckles)…sir." said the girl.
"Oh, man." said her brother as they both walked away.
"I heard you were coming today. I'm Zoey Reeves." said Zoey, introducing herself.
"Nice to meet you, Zoey." said Mayor Daniels.
"Follow me, sir." said Zoey, leading the way. "Today is so exciting. Morph-X is gonna change the world, and I'm gonna help. I've got ideas…lots of 'em, like Morph-X powered bicycles and Morph-X powered…"
"Thanks Zoey." said a guy, handing her another bag of laundry.
"Right after I get out of the laundry department." Zoey mumbled. "Of course, I trained to be a Battleforce cadet, but…I got cut. Still, I can make a difference, because I'm not afraid of big problems. I solve big problems."
"That's exactly why I became mayor." said Mayor Daniels. "I think you'll go far, young lady."
"There you are, Mr. Mayor." said a woman, walking up.
"Commander Shaw." said Mayor Daniels, shaking her hand.
"Back to work, Ms. Reeves." said Commander Shaw.
"Great to meet you." said Zoey.
"Let's start in our main laboratory."
"That, Mr. Mayor, is Morph-X." said Commander Shaw once they were inside the lab.
Mayor Daniels was holding in his hand, a container of green glowing liquid. "In the Morphin Grid, it exists a pure energy, but I refined it into a liquid." said a young boy with glasses, walking in followed by his twin sister.
"This is Nate and Chyler Silva, our chief scientists." Commander Shaw said.
"Nate and Chyler Silva, the Child Prodigies." said Mayor Daniels. "I read about you. Came here when you were both just six years old."
"At 10, they discovered how to tap into the Power Rangers' Morphin Grid." explained Commander Shaw.
"Which, if our calculations are correct, means we'll have unlimited access to the most powerful energy source in the known universe." said Nate and Chyler nodded.
"That's exactly what I'm afraid of." said Mayor Daniels.
"It seems that the Mayor thinks what we're doing is a mistake." Commander Shaw said to Nate, seeing the look on his face.
"A huge mistake." Mayor Daniels added. "Since before you were born, every monster out there in every dimension….from Rita Repulsa to Sledge and Galvanax, they've all wanted to take the ranger's power and rule the universe. And now that you've wrapped it up with a ribbon, some evil mind will try to take it again. And when they come, this place…Grid Battleforce…won't be able to stop them."
"I beg to differ." said Commander Shaw, stepping forward. "It's time I showed you something."
Mayor Daniels sets down the Morphin energy, following the commander. On the other side of the building, Devon slips on a lab coat and grabs a cart. "You! Hold it right there." a man said to Devon. "Are you in the right place?"
"I was just looking for the, uh, Battle simulator." said Devon, nervously as the man looks through the cart.
"This belongs in the morphing lab." said the man. "Let's move it. We're running behind."
"Okay. Well…" Devon said, following him and walks into a room.
"Unload it right over there." he said, letting Devon know where to go.
"No way." said Devon as he looks around in awe. He didn't know until he looked over was that his dad and Commander Shaw were walking in.
"What you're about to see is classified." said Commander Shaw and Devon turns around so Mayor Daniels doesn't see him. "Forget what you've heard, Mr. Mayor, Morph-X will do a lot more than power the city's lights and automobiles."
"This master computer controls the entire system." said Nate as he leads them over to the computers. "When you activate the Morph-X Tower network for the first time, the Morph-X will flow from here to here, where it will combine with animal DNA. Then it'll flow into our three subjects, mutating their DNA."
"Mutating them into what?" asked Mayor Daniels.
"Into our secret weapons." said Commander Shaw, showing him the three test subjects in yellow, red and blue.
"You're creating power rangers." said Mayor Daniels.
"That's correct." Commander Shaw replied.
"Rangers? Cool." Devon whispered to himself.
"The mutation should work perfectly with teenagers." said Commander Shaw. "And our top three cadets and volunteer have proven they have the courage and fighting skills it takes."
"We've developed special equipment…Beast-X Blasters, Beast-X Sabers, Beast-X Morphers, and…Morph-X Keys, all powered by Morph-X." explained Nate.
As he explained to Mayor Daniels, Devon looked over at a monitor and noticed something was wrong. A purple virus was downloading into the computer and through the connection.
"What the…?" Devon asked as it went to a container of Morph-X.
"These transporters can send anything to anywhere." Nate said to the Mayor. "Wait till you see this."
"It's really interesting." said Chyler.
Nate goes over to one of his computers and transports one of the weapons. "Where'd it go?" asked Mayor Daniels.
"Exactly where I sent it." said Nate and the Beast-X Saber appears by his side.
"Very impressive…" said Mayor Daniels.
"So if someone or something comes to steal our Morph-X, we'll be ready." said Commander Shaw.
"I sincerely hope you're right." Mayor Daniels said to her, then looks over the cadets. "Can I meet your team?"
"I'm sorry." said Commander Shaw, stopping him. "Their identities must remain secret. I'm sure you understand."
"Of course." he said.
"Mr. Mayor, the ceremony begins soon." said his assistant.
"Good luck commander." Mayor Daniels said, turning to leave. "Nate."
"Thank you, sir." said Nate. "The cerebral scan is complete."
"Good. Get the cadets into position." said Commander Shaw. Still hiding, Devon recognizes the three from the gym.
"Come on." said Chyler.
"Time to suit up." said Nate.
"Seriously? Them?" asked Devon. Suddenly, something appeared in the Morph-X, causing Devon to scream.
"Who in the…?" said Commander Shaw as she see Devon behind her. "Show me your clearance badge."
"He doesn't work here. He's the Mayor's son." said Blaze and two security guards grabbed him.
"Excuse me?"
"Sorry. My dad said that he had a meeting, and well…I just wanted to try the simulator, so…" Devon started to say.
"We don't have time for this right now." said Ravi.
"Hold him in detention." said Commander Shaw.
"Wait. There's something in your computer network…" Devon said to Nate. "a virus, maybe. I'm telling you; I saw an avatar. It was this totally creepy snake. It moved in the system like it was alive."
"Are you sure about that?" asked Chyler, curious to know what he saw.
"The firewall is up and secure. All systems are in the green." said Nate, checking everything.
"That's because it's already inside!" said Devon.
"Take him out of here." ordered Commander Shaw.
"You gotta believe me!" said Devon as he was being taken out.
"Told you that guy was crazy." said Blaze.
"Check the system!" Devon shouted.
"Run a full check on the computer system." said Commander Shaw.
"We don't have much time." said Nate.
"Agreed." said Chyler.
"Then do it quickly." she said.
"Yes, ma'am."
The guards took Devon to a holding cell, tossing him in there. "Holding cell secure." said a male computer voice. In the locker room, Ravi and the girl were placing on gear. "Are you nervous?" she asked.
"Morph-X is about to combine my DNA with the DNA of a gorilla." said Ravi. "Yeah, and hopefully make me into a superhero. Yeah, I'm a little nervous. You?"
"No." she replied. "Because I've got you to back me up."
"Please." said Ravi, stopping her. "Roxy, we talked about this. We can't be together…not anymore. We both knew the rules when we were chosen. Rangers can't date rangers."
"But you said that rule was silly." said Roxy.
"It is. But it's still a rule." said Ravi. "Please don't make this tougher than it already is."
"Yeah." Roxy said softly as she watches him walk away. "Okay."
Doors opened as Commander Shaw walks into the room. "How are we looking?" she asked the tech.
"All systems go, Commander." said the tech.
"Nate, Chyler, status report."
"The morphing lab is a go, Commander." said Nate. "I'm immobilizing the cadets now. Just wishing that we had a fourth to combine Wolf DNA with."
"Hey!" said Chyler, swatting her brother's arm. "I wanted to do it but you wouldn't let me."
"That's because I don't you hurt." said Nate which only caused Chyler to sigh.
"Just because you're older by 3 minutes, doesn't mean that you have to baby me Nate." said Chyler.
"I know, but I still don't you to get hurt." he tells her.
"I'll keep looking for a cadet for it." said the commander as the three cadets stood in the chambers.
"And as for that earlier concern, I've finished checking the system…no virus detected." Nate added.
"Okay. Continue the countdown." Commander Shaw said.
"Yes, ma'am." he said and typed away.
"Rather than rely on fossil fuels that pollute our world, today we tap into an endless source of clean energy." said Mayor Daniels as he stood at the podium. "And once our city proves it's safe, the entire world will follow in our footsteps."
Zoey stops as they tried to get a better look at the news. " Citizens of Coral Harbor, the future has arrived, and the future…is Morph-X!"
"Wow! We're making history!" said the boy holding the tablet.
"Activate the Morphin Grid interface." said Commander Shaw.
"Morph-X flow initiated." said the tech.
"Here we go." said the commander. Outside of the building, Mayor Daniels pulls the lever and Morph-X flowed through the tower.
"Morph-X entering the system." said a colleague of Nate's, looking up to see it flowing through.
"Begin Morph-X DNA reconstruction." said Nate and Chyler.
"Subjects locked into neural aligners."
"Awesome!" said Chyler.
"Phenomenal! It's working." said Nate. Suddenly the alarms blares.
"Wait!" said the colleague. "The system's detecting a foreign virus."
On Nate's computer, a creepy snake appeared. "I am Evox." he said, laughing.
"Evox?" asked Nate.
"It can't be." said Chyler, looking over her brother's shoulder.
"The Morphin Grid will be mine!" Evox declared. Nate and Chyler were shocked as they realized that Devon was right. "That virus…its infecting the Morph-X!" exclaimed Nate and another alarm blared.
"Nate, do something." said Chyler.
"Nate, abort the morph sequence." said Commander Shaw.
"Yes, ma'am. Shutting down." Nate replied, attempting to shut it down.
"This is Commander Shaw. All non-essential personal evacuate!"
"Holding cell malfunction."
Devon opens the holding cell doors himself and runs off. Zoey had gathered more laundry when everyone was leaving.
"This way people!"
"What's going on?" asked Zoey and a guy runs by. "Is this a drill?"
"No! There's an attack in the morphing room. We're evacuating!" he tells her.
"No, I'm not afraid of big problems." said Zoey. "I solve big problems."
"Hey!" said the girl.
"Ow!" her brother said.
"We solve problems too." she said.
"No, we don't." her brother tells her as she grabs his arm. "Oh, man!"
The brother and sister went onto action, accidentally knocking someone carrying a box in their arms. "Sorry!" they said and fell into a trashbin.
"Nothing! The system's not responding." said Nate. "I can't stop the morph."
"The system's won't respond on my computer." said Chyler.
"Try again." said Nate.
Morph-X went into Blaze, causing his body to fall to the ground and creating an evil avatar. The avatar puts on his helmet and evilly laughs. "Stop right there!" shouted the security guard as he and his partner aimed their weapons at the red avatar. The red avatar takes his shot at the guards, causing them to be thrown back.
Devon arrives, watching the scene unfold as Zoey comes up behind him. "Oh!" said the girls.
"Are you security?" asked Devon.
"Not exactly. I work in laundry." said Zoey. "You?"
"No. Just trespassing." he said.
Just as the door was closing and the both of them quickly went in and took cover. Morph-X went into Roxy and the same thing happened to her. Her physical body went down and out came her avatar.
"Pathetic human." giggled the Roxy avatar. "We avatars serve Evox now."
"Yes." chuckled the Blaze avatar and both looked over at Ravi. "And one more will join us."
Devon looks down and sees a gun was dropped. He picks it up and takes several shots at the Morph-X. "What?" said Roxy as the flow of Morph-X stops over Ravi.
"No!" said Blaze as Ravi drops to his knees.
"You!" Roxy said as she looks over at Devon and fires at him. "You'll pay for interfering!"
Zoey were behind a cart, pushing it towards the avatars and knocking Roxy down. "Big mistake, laundry girl!" said Blaze as he takes out his saber.
"Look out!" shouted Devon as he and Zoey ducked.
"Roxy!" said Ravi as he sees her on the ground. He looks up and joined the others in the fight.
"Evox can't be stopped." said Blaze as he pushed the cart Devon was on. Not wanting to be in the fight, Nate takes cover as Zoey distracts Roxy. Taking the high ground, Zoey takes a barrel.
"Get down!" shouted Roxy and pushes the tower the sisters were standing on. Blaze knocked back Ravi and Devon towards Zoey.
Chyler looks at her brother and comes up with an idea. "Nate, I have an idea." she said to her brother.
"Enough!" shouted Roxy and wraps all four of them in her robotic tentacles. "The Morphin Grid will finally belong to Evox!"
"Why fight it?" asked Blaze. Unnoticed, Nate goes over to the gun Devon dropped and fires at the top of the aligner, breaking the others free as Chyler runs over to the others.
"What?"
"No!"
Nate then goes over to his computer and activates the Morph-X. "Initiating Morph Sequence!" said the computer voice.
"Now we have Wolf DNA." muttered Nate as he watches all four people get their DNA combined with animal DNA.
"What just happened?" asked Devon.
"Wow." said Chyler, feeling the animal DNA. Nate looked at his sister with a smile on his face.
"They've morphed into Power Rangers." said Roxy.
"Whoa. She's right." said Devon.
"Whoa."
"You're the yellow ranger." Devon said to Zoey.
"No way!" said Zoey. "Don't look now, but you're the red ranger."
"Phenomenal!" said Chyler.
"And you're the purple ranger." she said to her.
"I don't know who you are, or what you are, but you're not Blaze and Roxy." said Ravi.
"Master of the obvious." said Roxy and the fight began. Suddenly, Devon went fast towards Blaze. "How'd I do that?!" Devon asked.
"It's the Cheetah DNA inside you." said Ravi. Suddenly Zoey jumps up and grabs a hold of the light railing as Chyler crouch down and snarled.
"Whoa! that was…incredible!" said Zoey. "It must be my jackrabbit DNA!"
"I never growled like that in my life." said Chyler. "Cool! I have wolf DNA!"
"Let's try my gorilla strength!" said Ravi, bulking up his muscles and grabs four barrels off the ground.
"Nice one." said Devon as they went over to protect Nate.
"We have to find a way to get rid of these avatars." said Ravi. Devon looks over at the teleporters that Nate created.
"Hey! those things can teleport anything, right?"
"Affirmative. Whatever's caught in the beams." said Nate.
"Yes!" said Ravi. "Nate, program them to teleport as far away as possible."
"Oh, ok." said Nate and gets to work.
"Get up!" said Roxy as she and Blaze stand from being knock down.
"Uh-oh." said Zoey.
"Almost there." said Nate. "Ready."
"Blue, Purple, you distract them." said Devon.
"On it." they said as Chyler growls and Ravi picks up what looked like a disrupter.
Devon placed a transporter on one side. "Good to go." he said as Zoey places the one, she had on the other side of the room.
"Ready!" she said.
"Set!" said Nate as he turns the one, he has around.
"Get down!" said Ravi as he takes Nate to cover as the transporters were activated.
"What?" asked Roxy, not knowing what was going on.
"No!" bellowed Blaze as he and Roxy were teleported away.
"It worked." said Devon as they stood up. The four rangers took off their helmets and looked at the damaged. Placing Roxy and Blaze in beds, Ravi looks down at her.
[Flashback]
Roxy and Ravi were by the water. "We're rangers now, Roxy. You know we can't be together." Ravi tells her. He then walks away.
[Flashback ends]
"I drove us apart." said Ravi. "I'm so sorry, Roxy."
He left the room and goes to find the others. "Nate said, if it wasn't for you guys, I'd be an avatar too." he said to them. "Thank you."
"I'm just sorry we couldn't help them." said Zoey.
"I agree with Zoey." added Chyler. "And this is coming from someone who has a twin brother."
"You're the guy that Blaze was hassling in the gym." said Ravi, looking over at Devon and felt guilty. "I'm sorry. I should've jumped in and…"
"No sweat, man. I can take care of myself." said Devon, accepting his apology.
"So I've noticed. I'm Ravi."
"Devon."
"I'm Zoey." said Zoey as she holds out her hand.
"I'm Chyler, Nate's sister." said Chyler.
"Nate, Chyler. Report." said Commander Shaw as she walks into the room.
"Their bodies are perfectly healthy, but their brains are functioning as if they're in a deep sleep." Nate explained. "From what I can tell, the virus duplicated them, creating…essentially their evil twins."
"So how do we awaken Blaze and Roxy?" she asked.
"Well…" Chyler said and looks over at her brother.
"Blaze and his avatar, Roxy and her avatar…they're linked through the Morphin Grid, meaning as long as their avatars are awake, our friends will be asleep." said Nate.
"So the only way to save Blaze and Roxy…." said Zoey.
"….is to destroy their avatars." said Devon.
"Affirmative." said Nate. "Even though I've sent their avatars to a different dimension, they're intelligent. They'll find a way back here."
"That's why we have the four of you, the Power Rangers, to protect the Morphin Grid." said Commander Shaw.
"You can count on me, Mom…I mean, Commander." said Ravi.
"Zoey, Chyler, Devon, the Morph-X has combined your DNA…with Cheetah DNA, Wolf DNA and Jackrabbit DNA." said Commander Shaw. "You are the red, purple and yellow Power Rangers."
"Roxy should be here protecting the city herself, but until she can, I'm proud to take her place." said Zoey.
"I'll do my best, Commander." said Chyler.
"You better." said Nate.
"You know I will." said Chyler, bumping her shoulder against her brother's. "I have you to look out for me."
"This isn't what I expected when I woke up this morning." said Devon as all eyes turned on him. "But it is pretty cool. Whatever I can do, I'm in."
"Very good. You have a lot to learn." said the commander, then turns to face Ravi. "Take them to the Battle Simulator and teach them what they need to know. We may not have much time."
"The Battle Sim?! Yes!" Devon said excitedly as they left the room.
