"Happy Halloween!", I smile at the little girl who's come to our apartment door to trick or treat. She's in a princess costume and I gave her 3 Kit Kats since she'd been the only kid here so far and it was already 8 o'clock at night.

Cappie's a few footsteps behind me and we both wave as her and her mom leave down the hall.

"Gosh that was a lot for my hormonal heart to see", I give him a pout once I've closed the door. "Now I'm just thinking about all the times we'll have with our baby on Halloween".

I'm wearing black cat ears and I drew cat whiskers and a nose on my face in eyeliner.

Cappie had laughed at me when I had come out of my bedroom like that at 6 o'clock, but I could see his smile under his mockery.

"I know right, those baby costumes we saw at Baby's R Us when we were there were so cute", Cappie grins. "It'll be a few years before we can use her to get candy from strangers though".

I laugh at him then with a roll of my eyes, taking a Kit Kat out of the bowl for myself.

"What? It's a perk, use the kid to get some full size candy bars", Cappie shrugs jokingly. "A toddler can't possibly eat all of that themselves. And we can send her to the rich neighbourhoods, get the good stuff".

"You're crazy", I smirk at him.

"I'm not the one dressed up as, may I say, a very sexy cat, to sit in our apartment little lady", Cappie gives me a grin.

I glare back at him, chocolate in my mouth.

"I'm just trying to get in the Halloween spirit!", I argue. "Plus you haven't dressed up any of the now 5 Halloweens that I've known you".

"Yes I have", He looks offended. "Every year I'm an irresponsible frat boy, I can't believe you hadn't noticed".

I laugh at him then.

"Well you're just missing a frat party to go with your costume then", I say to him.

It had been a subject we'd been talking about all day. Kappa Tau's Halloween party.

I had told Cappie that he should feel free to have fun and go to the party. He said he wouldn't go without me, but when I had considered going he then concluded, in his own words, that it was 'no place for his unborn child'.

So here we were in the apartment the whole night.

"I told you, a KT party is too wild for you and the baby", He gives me a look, touching my protruding stomach. "You have precious cargo in there".

I give him a look that says 'are you serious?'

"If we did go I wouldn't eat or drink anything at all, because I know you guys like to spike everything", I laugh. "I made that mistake freshman year when I ate Beaver's gummy bears".

"Ah yes, your one and only edible experience", Cappie laughs.

I grin at the memory. When I'd finally realized I was high, Cappie got mad at Beaver and told him that he shouldn't have given me drugs and then Cappie took me back to my dorm room where for 3 hours I continued to talk about how cool it was that we all had different eyes, like how every snowflake was different. Then I'd fallen asleep for 10 hours.

"Yep", I laugh.

"I thought that maybe it would be uncomfortable for you at the party", Cappie shrugs. "I don't want anyone to be mean to you, like say something hurtful".

"I can take it", I assure him. "And probably no one will. Evan was the worst and that's already done with".

"What about the children?", Cappie jokes holding up our bowl of candy that was still completely full.

"I think the one kid in this apartment building has already come and gone Cap", I giggle. "Besides… I kind of bought it for myself anyways".

He laughs at me then, and leans against the kitchen island.

"Well…", Cappie thinks it over. "You are dressed as a very very cute cat. It would be a shame for your costume to go to waste".

I look down at the skin tight bodysuit and black booty shorts I'm wearing with black tights and boots.

My bump was completely on display. Not that it ever wasn't really on display at this point in my pregnancy.

"Although…", he gives me a mischievous grin, coming closer to me. "We could make very good use of the costume in your bedroom if you want to concede?"

Cappie's of course referring to our ongoing bet. So far I only had 4 nights left and I wasn't going to let him have the satisfaction.

"Nuh uh", I shake my head giving him a playful glare. "Over my dead body am I conceding".

"Alright", He shrugs playfully, liking the way we spar.

"It would be nice to show off my costume to my friends though", I look at him giving him one of his own signature sinful looks, trying to persuade him.

"Alright, you really wanna go to KT?", His face starts to form into an involuntary smile.

"I do if you do", I grin and come over to play with the buttons on his flannel shirt. "Ashley will be there, and Rusty and Calvin, and most of the ZBZ girls".

"You don't have to convince me Case", He grins. "A KT party is second to breathing for me. I just worry about you going".

"Me and the baby will be fine", I say to him seriously. "I'll bring my own water bottle and try to stay away from secondhand smoke".

I grin at him then and he returns a smirk and finally nods.

"Alright, you've convinced me", He laughs.

"Okay I'll get my purse", I do a little jump up and down which makes him shake his head with an amused grin on his face and then I run off to my room.

"Casey?!", Betsy practically jumps onto me when me and Cappie walk into KT's backyard where the party is buzzing. "What are you doing here?"

"Just coming out to have a good time!", I hug her. "Happy Halloween Betsy! You're a… bride?"

I look over her costume trying to figure it out.

"I'm a dead bride", She iterates, gesturing to the blood on her face and costume.

"I love it", I laugh.

"I like yours too! It's so cute with your belly", She smiles.

"I think so too", Cappie puts his arm around me which sets off red flashing lights in my head.

Here we weren't a couple, we weren't friends with benefits, we were friends and roommates having a baby. I didn't need people talking more than they already were.

"What are you Cappie?", Betsy asks.

"You know, a KT brother", Cappie smirks.

"Halloween is totally for girls anyways", Besty laughs. "Well see you guys later!"

"Bye!", I smile at her.

When she's gone I wriggle out of Cappie's arms.

"What?", he laughs, looking at me confused.

"You're gonna make people think we're a couple", I say to him in a hushed voice.

"So I can't touch you… at all?", He gives me a look.

"When we get home you can but… here maybe cool it. I don't want people gossiping about us", I tell him.

"Alright", He nods up and down. "As long as no other guys are hitting on you tonight".

I scoff at him like he's crazy.

"C'mon, like that would happen", I shake my head.

"With the way you're looking tonight…", Cappie meets my eyes.

"I'm not interested in any other guys… like at all", I say sternly, because it couldn't be more true. "And this…"

I gesture down to my belly.

"Is kind of a big red stop sign to guys", I give him a look.

He grins when I say that.

"What?", I look at him, hands on my hips, confused at his smug look.

"Nothing, just for the first time since I met you I can finally rest easy knowing that guys here know that you're with me", He says and looks down at my bump. "Your belly tells other people that, since everyone knows she's mine".

I just give him a huff and shake my head.

I guess he was right. These past four years he'd hated Evan, and then barely tolerated Max. He didn't want to worry about me being with other guys. And now he definitely wouldn't have to because having this bump was pretty much equivalent to wearing a 'property of Cappie' t shirt. At least for the time being.

"Yes people are going to know that the baby is yours but… that doesn't mean you and me can go around kissing and stuff, alright?", I give him a look.

"Okay", he nods. "Got it… tonight we're just friends".

"Thanks", I nod.

"I'm just gonna go see the guys, I'll come find you later Case", He gives me a smile but it's not really a genuine Cappie smile and I feel like dirt for probably making him feel bad. I would never ever mean to.

"Okay", I smile, my heart hurting in my chest.

"Oh and watch yourself on the stairs", He points to the wooden stairs of the deck. "They're pretty unstable, no one's fixed them in years".

"Thanks Cap", I nod. "I will".

He nods, accepting my answer and then takes off to go find his brothers.

I stand there lost for a moment because I feel like I've just made a huge mistake.

I mean, what was I doing?

I had the guy I loved wanting to put his arm around me at a party and what the hell did I do in response? I was too worried about what people will say or think about us when I should just do what I wanted. Because I knew deep down I wanted his arm around me.

"Casey! Betsy told me you were here. Why didn't you tell me?!", Ash comes up from behind me interrupting my thoughts.

"Ash!", I turn around to see her and we hug. "It was a last minute thing, I didn't have time to text".

"Well we're all happy to see you! And oh my gosh your costume is so cute", she holds me back from her to look me over.

"So is yours!", I look at her Madonna costume. "I love it".

"So did Cappie drag you out tonight?", Ash laughs.

"Actually the opposite", I scoff and give a slight frown, still feeling upset about the way I'd treated him.

"What's wrong, are you okay?", Ash asks, always able to tell when something is wrong with me. And thank god she can.

"Yeah… I don't know. We just got here and Cappie put his arm around me like we were a couple and I freaked out and told him not to", I sigh. "I just feel like I really hurt his feelings which sucks because it's the last thing I want to do. I think he thinks I don't want to be with him".

"Well… can you blame him?", Ash sighs, giving me a look.

"I thought you were supposed to be on my side", I half joke.

"I love you Case but… maybe you shouldn't worry so much and just let whatever happens happen with Cappie", Ash suggests. "I know you're trying not to get hurt, and in turn trying not to let the baby get hurt, but I don't know… I feel like he's completely all in with this".

"I know", I say softly.

"I'm not saying you have to be a couple because maybe… maybe that's too scary for right now and too much commitment but… maybe you should just let him know you appreciate him", Ash shrugs.

"Maybe you're right", I think to myself.

"I usually am", Ash laughs, throwing her hair back and I give her a look.

"Alright, I've gotta go find him. I'll see you in a bit Ash", I smile, feeling like I needed to make things right with him this instant.

"See you mama!", Ash smiles holding her drink up to me.

I go inside the KT house looking all over for him which isn't an easy task.

Sure he's tall and usually the life of the party so he's not exactly easy to miss. But he was much more lowkey lately and there were a lot of people here.

I pass lots of people, trying to get through the crowd without getting bumped around or jabbed by someone's elbow. I put my hands on my bump as if that'll protect her.

I finally spot him talking to Anthony Hopkins and Dumptruck near the pool table.

"Hi", I walk up, looking right at Cappie, out of breath as he looks at me confused. "Sorry guys, I just need him for a second".

I give a quick grin to Anthony Hopkins and Dumptruck and then grab Cappie's hand, dragging him through a sea of people until I get to my destination.

The KT broom closet.

The venue for a couple of me and Cap's key speeches over the years.

I pull him in and close the door, turning around to look at a perplexed Cappie.

"What are-", he starts his sentence but I cut him off.

"Just listen okay", I say strongly. "I'm really sorry about earlier, I just get scared sometimes and don't know how to be with you when we're out around other people but… I never want you to think that I don't appreciate you or that I don't see you the way I've always seen you".

He takes in my words and then speaks confusedly.

"The way you've always seen me? And how's that?"

I smile slightly and instead of answering I just lean up to kiss his lips.

Wow, I'd missed him on my lips. It has been a few days, since the night we'd moved in to the new place.

I kiss him for a long time then, him pulling my body in closer after getting over the initial shock of me making my move.

"Like this", I say slightly out of breath when I pull away.

A grin breaks out on his face.

"Maybe we could stay in here the whole night then? Who needs the party?", He jokes.

I roll my eyes at him and then smile.

"You can touch me however you want", I say softly then, looking up into his eyes. "I don't care what people think, or what people will say".

"Okay", he nods up and down, a smirk gracing the entranced way he looks at me.

"That's all", I shrug and then turn to open the door but his hand stops me.

"Just one more minute", He whispers, pulling me back around to him and he leans down to kiss me again, backing me up slightly so I'm pinned against the door now, his kisses veering into a dangerous territory where I want to do more than just kiss.

I pull away from him then.

"Don't turn me on at this party, okay?", I let out a giggle.

"Says the girl wearing teeny tiny shorts and tights", Cappie looks down at me, giving me a lick of his lips and I cross my arms.

"They're athletic shorts", I say, matter of fact.

"Well there's a lot of athletic things I'd like to do to you when you're in them", He grins.

"Down boy", I joke, putting my hand on his chest.

He puts his hands up.

"Alright", he smiles and I open the door so we can get out of the closet.

Right near the door Calvin and Heath are hanging out, talking close to each other and looking coupley.

"Oh hey guys!", Calvin stops us.

"Hey Calvin", I smooth my hair down, some of it getting caught in my lipgloss when I was kissing Cappie.

Fittingly, when I look at Cappie now that we're in a better lit room, I can see my lipgloss on his lips, it making me go red in front of Calvin and Heath.

"Hey guys", me and Cap both say at the same time.

Heath smirks at us like he knows exactly what just went on in that closet.

"How's the baby been doing?", Calvin asks.

"Oh she's really good, thanks for asking", I smile. "I'm getting further along every day, growing more. And we got a 3D ultrasound, she looks good in here".

I touch my stomach with a smile.

"That's awesome", Calvin smiles.

"Yeah we're excited", Cappie grins.

"All of us at KT are so happy for our president", Heath pats Cap on the back.

Rusty comes up then to see Calvin but then realizes we're here too.

"What are you guys doing here?!", Rusty looks at us happily, moving forward to hug me, trying to make sure he doesn't spill his drink on me.

"Getting our party on", I giggle. "It was a last minute decision".

"If you can believe it, Casey was the one lobbying to get me here", Cappie says and we laugh.

"Rusty you said this was lite beer!", I hear a voice and Dale comes up behind Rusty, moving through the sea of people like he's annoyed.

"Sorry I thought it was", Rus shrugs.

"Oh hello", Dale gives us a sad nod when he realizes we're here.

"You okay Daley?", Cappie asks. "I didn't really expect to see you at a KT party lately. I thought you'd be off with carrot top. Sorry I mean Tripp".

Cappie jokes and I snicker.

"Tripp is dead to me", Dale professes, angrily.

"He's had a rough day", Rusty explains.

"Omega Chi is a scam!", Dale moves his glasses up on his head and downs his beer all in one gulp, it spilling on his face slightly. The rest of us look around at each other in surprise.

"Oh hold on there buddy", Calvin says worriedly, trying to butt in and take Dale's cup from him.

"Just let him have this one tonight", Rusty stops Calvin from intervening and then looks at us to explain. "Omega Chi was playing a joke on Dale the whole time. Got him as a pledge so they could embarrass him in front of everyone at the pledge talent show".

"I'm sorry Daley, I sympathize with you", Cappie puts his hand on Dale's shoulder. "I've also been wronged a time or two by those Abercrombie and Bitches".

I snicker at Cap's comment but try to hide it because I see how much this had affected Dale.

"Yeah, if you want to hate on Omega Chi tonight, you've come to the right place", Heath nods. "Except we're leaving my amazing boyfriend out of it".

Heath and Calvin smile at each other.

"Well… I'm sorry too Dale", I say to him.

"It's alright Casey", He shrugs after throwing his empty cup on the floor, his drunken rage shocking us all slightly. "Anyway, how have you and the baby been? You look like Mother Theresa tonight".

"Maybe, if Mother Theresa was a slutty cat", Rusty mutters and I hit his arm, laughing.

"Well thanks Dale", I smile. "She's good, I was just telling Calvin and Heath about her, we got a 3D ultrasound and she's looking good in here".

I gesture to my stomach.

Cappie pulls his wallet out of his pocket then and, to my surprise, pulls out one of the ultrasound pictures from the other day, unfolding it.

"That's her", Cappie smiles, passing it to Dale who shows it to Rusty, and then to Calvin and Heath too. "Looks like Case doesn't she?"

"Yeah she kinda does", Rusty smiles and looks over at me.

I didn't even know Cappie was carrying a picture of her around with him all the time. The revelation made my heart swell.

"Case I've got to see each photo, she's my niece after all. Can I come over tomorrow and see them?", Rusty asks me with a smile.

"Yeah of course", I grin.

"Count me in for that too", Dale tries his best to smile even in his depressed state. "I'll bring over some of my blueberry muffins, I get up to a lot of baking when I've been scorned".

"Yeah you should've seen our kitchen after the whole Sheila debacle", Rusty laughs, making us all stifle in a grin.

"Well of course you can come too", I nod, trying not to scoff. "We love your muffins Dale".

"She's gonna have a lot of visitors in the hospital when she's born that's for sure", Heath comments, looking at our baby's photo. "Like the whole greek system".

We laugh then.

"It's nice that so many people care", I smile and Cappie nods.

"Guys! Beer pong!", Beaver calls out and Heath immediately runs to join, dragging Calvin with him. Beaver, to my surprise, is dressed in what looks to be a Jack Sparrow costume, however he could be just a random Victorian character from one of Katherine's books. I wasn't exactly sure.

I look up to Cappie.

"I know you want to go", I laugh. "Don't worry, go play with your friends".

"You sure?", he gives me a smirk.

"Yes, I've gotta go see the rest of the girls anyways", I say.

"Alright, what do you say Dale, you wanna learn beer pong?", Cap laughs.

"Well there's not much further down I can spiral so… I may as well become a heathen at this point", He sighs.

"I'll take that as a yes", Cappie laughs and then looks to me. "Bye Case!"

I act impulsively then and stand up on my tip toes to kiss his cheek to his, and Rusty's, surprise.

"Bye", I smile nervously and then turn to go back out into the backyard.

I look around to maybe find Ash again, tell her about how I'd just kissed Cappie in a closet.

"Casey?", I hear Rebecca's voice and see her in a devil costume. "Well isn't this just a golden display of responsible parenting".

She's giving me a judging grin.

"Rebecca, I'm surprised you didn't dress up tonight, I thought you would've", I give her a joking look, hand on my hip.

"Ha-ha very funny, I get it. Because I am the devil", She groans and shakes her head.

"So did Evan not want to show his face at KT?", I ask with a laugh.

"He's busy studying tonight apparently", she rolls her eyes. "I guess that's just the perils of having a successful man in your life".

"Yeah… sure", I scoff.

Laura comes up to us then, dressed as a witch. Also a very fitting costume for her.

"Rebecca! Betsy's on her 5th vodka shot in just the past hour", Laura complains to her.

"Ugh", Rebecca groans. "I am not carrying her home again like last weekend".

"Oh hey Casey", Laura smiles at me. "Thanks a lot for abandoning us as our house mom. Hey… you're not drinking tonight right?"

"Am I drinking with a 28 and a half week baby growing inside me?", I scoff. "No, I think not Laura".

"Perfect, you could be sober sister tonight", she smiles.

"Well I'm not exactly an active anymore Laura, plus I'm not gonna be here very long, me and Cappie are just popping by", I explain.

Rebecca turns to glare at Laura.

"Laura just deal with being sober sister tonight, god! It's like I'm the only one sacrificing for the sorority sometimes", Rebecca glares at Laura.

"Fine", Laura rolls her eyes. "But if Betsy throws up on me, I swear to god!"

Laura stalks off in a huff.

"Well it looks like you guys are getting along well", I say to Rebecca sarcastically.

"We're doing fine", She crosses her arms across her chest. "We're the number on sorority on campus under my tutelage. The munchkins at Gamma Psi don't stand a chance this year".

"That's good to hear Rebecca", I laugh. "Well it was good to see you, I'm gonna go see if I can find Ashleigh".

"She's probably off talking to your nerdy brother", Rebecca scoffs.

"What? Really?"

"Yeah she seems to be spending a lot of time with him lately. It's like she's had a full on mental break since giving up New York", Rebecca sighs and I give her a look.

"Well Happy Halloween Becs. See you later", I laugh and wave to her.

Rusty and Ashleigh? Spending time together? I had just seen Ashleigh a few nights ago for girls night at my apartment and she hadn't mentioned anything about it. She'd just said that she hadn't been seeing anyone, that she was focusing on herself.

"Ash!", I see her from across the lawn talking to Abby and some other girls, a few Tri Pi's.

"Hey Casey!", Abby smiles.

"Hi Abby, you look cute tonight. Little Bo Peep?", I gesture to her costume.

"Yep!", she grins.

"Congratulations Casey", Amy and Jessica from Tri Pi smile at me.

"Aw thank you", I blush.

"When's your baby due?", Jessica asks.

"She's due mid January", I smile.

"Aw sweet! When we found out you and Cappie were having a baby we almost didn't believe it", Amy says. "I mean Cappie from Kappa Tau having a baby is crazy!"

"Although a part of me is a little surprised he didn't get a girl pregnant sooner but…", Jessica scoffs and then I think realizes she may be being slightly insensitive and stops mid sentence.

I know they're not saying any of this in a malicious way at all, I genuinely think that a lot of people are just surprised. Don't see what I've always seen in Cappie.

"Well", I laugh. "It was a shock for me too, I'll tell you that. But we're doing really well with it now and we're kinda excited".

"That's awesome", Amy smiles. "Well me and Jess have gotta get back to the other girls. Bye guys!"

"Bye!", me and Ash say in synchronicity.

"I'm gonna go see if Laura needs help with Betsy, it was good to see you Casey", Abby smiles.

"You too!", I nod.

"So… how did it go with Cappie?", Ash waits for my response impatiently.

"Good", I can't help but smile. "We madeout in a closet so I would say that he's not too hurt".

Ash laughs then.

"Wow okay. Well good for you guys", She grins.

"Ash… you'd tell me if you had a guy in your life right?", I ask her.

"Yeah of course. Why, where's this coming from?"

"Rebecca said you've been spending a lot of time with Rusty", I shrug. "Which is cool if you are, I just didn't know-"

"I mean yeah we're friends", Ash cuts me off with an awkward shrug of her shoulders. "He broke up with Dana and needed a friend and… I was pretty lost for awhile too. I mean, you know your brother, he's a really sweet guy".

"Yeah he is. But he also… probably likes you a little more than just a friend Ash", I say awkwardly. "From what I can tell".

Ash sighs then, looking down.

"I don't know how I feel", she looks back up at me.

"Well it might be time to figure it out", I say.

"Ugh, look at us", Ash sighs. "Both unable to know what the hell to do with the guys in our Iives".

"Yeah tell me about it", I nod.

"I promise I won't hurt Rusty. I know neither one of us wants to hurt the guys", Ash says.

"I know you won't", I put my arm around her to give her a side hug.

Once it was about midnight I was feeling like I kind of wanted to go home. My feet hurt like hell and I was pretty tired.

I went inside to find Cappie to see what he was doing and of course, he was still caught up in a game of beer bong with the rest of the KT guys.

"Casey?", I hear my name and look around.

"Katherine?", I smile, seeing her trying to get my attention. "Hey, I didn't expect to see you here".

"Why not? I'm in law school sure, but I've still got time to be young and untamed", She smiles. "Very cute kitty cat costume Casey".

"Aw thanks", I smile. "I like yours too. You're a lawyer?"

"I'm Ruth Bader Ginsberg", She scoffs like it should be obvious. "I wanted to be the most powerful woman I could think of".

"Oh I see it now, I love it!", I grin with a laugh.

"Look at our guys being men together", Katherine sighs, gesturing to the KT guys currently playing beer pong. Well the KT guys and Dale… who looked mildly uncomfortable. "Doesn't it just all your juices flowing?"

"Oh yeah… totally", I nod uncomfortably.

"You know I read this study once that said that since the dawn of time woman are hardwired to find men in packs of testosterone oozing males more manly and desirable. Has to due with a woman's desire to be protected and impregnated with the seed of a man who has typical male qualities. So good news for us, right?", She smiles, looking onwards to Beaver and Cappie.

"Oh that's… cool", I grin awkwardly, not exactly knowing what to make of her talking about Beaver and Cappie's 'seeds', but I guess I was already impregnated with one… so maybe this study actually had a point.

"Woo go Beaver!", Katherine jumps up and down awkwardly, the guys looking over at her.

"Thanks baby", Beaver grins and waves. "That's my girlfriend everybody".

Beaver will tell anyone who'll listen.

Cappie notices me standing next to Katherine now and gives me a small wave and then looks back to the guys.

"Hey guys that's probably gonna be my last game", Cappie smiles and drinks his last cup.

"It's only midnight Cap!", Beav whines.

"Yeah I know but", Cappie looks over to me. "I've gotta get my girls home in one piece".

Cappie walks over to me and Katherine then, Pickle taking his spot in the game.

"Hi Katherine", Cappie nods as he comes to stand beside me.

"Hello", She looks him up and down. "Looks like only one of us got our man to dress up tonight, am I right Casey?"

I laugh then.

"Yeah I guess so", I nod, laughing.

"I keep telling people that a frat guy is a viable costume", Cappie jokes and weaves his arm around my back, resting his hand on my lower back. And this time I just settle into it, not letting myself freak out.

"Well I'll be having more fun roleplaying with a Victorian era pirate tonight than with just a regular KT guy, that's for sure", Katherine grins.

Me and Cappie share an awkward look.

"Uh I think that's our cue", Cappie laughs. "I've gotta get this girl home".

"You mean I've gotta get you home", I laugh. "Since I'm sober and driving".

I give him a look.

"True", he laughs.

"Bye Katherine!", I say to her but she's too entrenched in watching Beaver's 'display of testosterone' to do much but give us a half hearted wave.

"Soooo…", I look over at Cappie from the drivers seat. "That was fun".

"It was. I especially liked the part when we were in the closet, when I had you up against the door and-", Cappie smirks but I cut him off.

"I'm not gonna fold on the bet Cap", I say sternly with a playful grin. "I know what you're thinking, but I'm not that easy. And it's not like I've had a few drinks in me, I'm completely in my right mind".

"Alright missy", Cappie nods, a glint in his eye.

"I can see the rocking chair in my room already", I coo, annoying him.

"You know… she could have a room all to herself with as many rocking chairs as you could ever want if you and me bunked together", He shrugs giving me a playful grin.

"Bunked together?", I scoff. "That means sleeping together, and then next thing you know, we're two people sleeping together with a baby…. we may as well be married at that point".

I joke with him.

"Fine by me", he shrugs and I stare at him for a moment.

"You've just had too much to drink", I scoff and shake my head, although I knew Cappie pretty well by now and I could tell he wasn't drunk, barely even tipsy. "She'll be fine in my room. I took the bigger one of the two rooms so that she'd have enough space. And I'm gonna be the one primarily feeding her at night and stuff".

"Yeah I guess you're right. But I want to be able to help you out at night however you want me to so we can make sure you get some sleep", Cappie says seriously. "I can wake up with her and feed her with your pumped milk or whatever".

"Aw I can't believe you actually read up on breastfeeding", I laugh. "Actually… I kind of can believe it would be the one pregnancy thing you'd be interested in because boobs are involved".

I tease him with a look but he just rolls his eyes at me good naturedly.

"Thank you though", I give him a smile as we pull into the parking area of the apartment building. "That's really nice of you to want to help".

"It's not nice", Cappie scoffs like I'm insane. "She's half my kid which means everything that you do I should be doing too. I should be carrying half the weight".

"Except for the giving birth part", I groan.

"Yeah except for that part", He laughs and I put the car in park and grabs my keys out as we get out of the car, going into the building as we take the elevator up to our apartment.

Our apartment. We didn't even try to call it just 'my' apartment anymore.
