Since I found out that Fanfiction was shut down for a few hours, I thought what better way to rejoice in its return. Then with another chapter of my Amphibia story!

Dyllan could not believe any of this. What happened to him was the start of something big. He can harness magical powers thanks to Lerrad's Staff. There were so many things that he could possibly do. He could make objects come to life, he could float in mid air, he could even make something disappear with a snap of his fingers.

That night, Dyllan was having a tough time keeping his emotions in. He felt excited and nervous both at the same time. All he could do was toss and turn, stare at the ceiling, and look to his future wizard teacher. He kept tossing on his bed roll, and the sound of his shuffling grabbed Tint's attention. Wanting peace and quiet, Tint immediately got up.

"Dyllan, Dyllan," he said quietly. Dyllan looked over to a tired Tint. "Stomach. Back. Side. Pick One!"

Seeing that Tint is tired and wants to sleep, Dyllan lays on his back. "Sorry Tint," he whispered quietly. And with that, the two fell asleep. Dyllan kept his emotions in check and started to feel sleepy. He slowly shuts his eyes and starts to dream.

In his dream, Dyllan was walking in a mysterious mist. There was no end, and no start to where he was walking. As he kept walking, he had Lerrad's staff in his hand, glowing red. He stared down at the red glow, making his pupils match its red color. The red glow starts to float from the staff and into the air. It slowly approaches back at Dyllan and inside the glow reveals the same music box that Anne stole from the thrift store.

Dyllan stood in awe, wondering why he was seeing the box. Was it guilt? Was it a clue? What does it mean? But before he could touch the box, a bright light shined in his eyes. As Dyllan woke up, he saw himself facing the cave entrance with the sun rising in the sky.

He started to stretch his arms and legs, then perked up that today is the day of his first magic lesson. "Today's the day," he said. He jumped out of his bedroll, and watched the sun rise in the sky. As he gets himself ready he starts thinking about what his first magic lesson is going to be. And at the same time, he also contemplates the major change of his life. He still wasn't sure about the sudden changes within him, and that made him feel nervous again.

During breakfast, Tint started to notice Dyllan's behavior. He finds Dyllan looking out at the sun while he is eating. Tint kinda got the feeling that Dyllan wasn't entirely sure how his magic training was going to play out. So he decided to talk with him.

"Hey Dyllan, you okay?" Tint asked.

"I'm alright," replied Dyllan. He takes another bite of his breakfast.

"You've gone from nervous to nerve wrecking," said Tint. "Are you sure you're okay?"

Dyllan remains silent, for he was not sure how to answer the salamander. Tint knew he was unfocused, uncertain, for he could see it in his eyes as they remained locked to the sun. Tint had to cheer him up somehow.

"It's okay if you're nervous," he said. "I was nervous my first time too. I didn't know what to expect. But my uncle told me that even the greatest of wizards were beginners. You may fumble at times, but that's how it works. So if this may be your only chance of ever getting home, you have to face the fear of taking that first step. The journey is long, but every step is worth the knowledge you receive. And who knows, with Lerrad's staff, you could learn faster than the other salamanders here."

Dyllan watched the salamander who saved him give him advice not to worry about the biggest change in his life. All his life he hated change, but he has to understand that he's stuck in Amphibia, and the only way to get back, is that he has to make it happen.

He looked at Tint and asked him, "Why would you tell me all of this?"

Tint took a deep breath and looked up to the human. "Because at this point, you need a friend to guide you through all this," he said. "And I think the best way to make you feel comfortable on your first day of training is to have me there. An amphibious friend right by your side."

He stood up from his seat and said, "Therefore I, Tint Tormak, am pledging my friendship to you, Dyllan Loyalitat. On the condition that you pledge your friendship to me. Do you accept the agreement?"

Dyllan couldn't believe his ears. Tint Tormak, the salamander who saved his life, was offering him his friendship. But it wasn't just Dyllan that surprised him, Cronaxx stood with a smile on his face. "Well, Dyllan?" said Cronaxx. "I think it would be beneficial for the both of you. You could use someone to stand by your side, and Tint could finally make a new friend in his life."

Dyllan hasn't made new friends back at home. He was still uneasy with the idea. But, if he was going to get anywhere in Amphibia, he decided it was time to take his step father's advice and make a new friend. Dyllan reaches out to Tint, giving him his hand for a handshake.

"I would be honored to accept you as my friend. And as I previously stated, for saving my life. I Dyllan Loyalitat hereby pledge my loyalty to you,the Tormaks, to the end of our days." Tint smiles, knowing he has found someone who loves magic just as he does.

Cronaxx smiled, "Alright boys, let's get started. Dyllan, get ready for your first day of training." The three leave the cave with the staff and some essentials.

Out in the open fields, Cronaxx was swaying his arms slowly. Tint was following him with ease, while Dyllan was watching carefully. If he knew anything about the wizards he read in books or role playing games, he would know that every hand movement matters.

"For your first lesson Dyllan," said Cronaxx. "You must learn discipline, precision, a still hand, and a steady heart. Right now, your spirit is all over the place. You need to control your emotions, and clear your mind if you are to cast even the simplest of spells."

Dyllan listened as carefully as he could, and followed their moves slowly. As he did, he saw a red aura coming from his hands. It made Dyllan smile, but Cronaxx was right. The light grew brighter and brighter until Dyllan closed his eyes and stopped moving his hands. "Focus," said Cronaxx. Dyllan opened his eyes, and took a deep breath. "Again."

The trio went on for hours working with steady hand movements, yoga positions, and meditations. "Again." Dyllan found it very difficult. The strain on excellent stances to the sweat from his head and his palms got to him. "Again." Every time he fumbles, Tint helps him to get back up. Dyllan smiles at his new salamander friend and the two restart their yoga poses. "Again."

Then on the second day, during yoga meditation, Dyllan was on one foot reaching for the ground. He breathed slowly, in and out. Dyllan could feel the sweat drip down from his forehead to the tip of his nose. His standing leg started to tremble slightly. Dyllan started to feel fuzziness from his head, and he fumbled to the ground panting heavily.

"Dyllan," said Tint. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah," replied Dyllan. "I think so. I'm just feeling lightheaded from all the yoga positions."

"I think that's enough practice for today," said Cronaxx. "Let's return home."

The three leave the open fields and make their way to the entrance of the salamander village. As they got closer to the entrance, one of the guards pointed his spear at Dyllan. "Just passing through?" he asked.

Dyllan quietly nodded, "Y-Yes we are. We're not ...looking for trouble."

The guard pointed his spear away from the human. "Very well," he said. "Move along."

Dyllan was a bit upset as they left. "I can see that look in their eyes," he said. "It's not just fear, there's also hate."

Cronaxx placed a hand on Dyllan's leg. "It'll be alright," he said. "They only fear what they don't understand."

As they walked past the cave entrance, Tint saw another salamander climb to the highest peak near the waterfall. "Hey, what's that salamander doing?" he asked.

Dyllan and Cronaxx look up to see what was going on. A young blue spotted salamander reached the highest peak, then looked down feeling frightened. He spots Dyllan and starts waving his hands around like he was about to dance.

But he was casting a telepathy spell near the waterfall. He grabbed a batch of water and shaped it into a water ball. He looks down and tries to put on a tough guy face.

Cronaxx was not pleased, "That young lad has no idea how tough that spell is."

"How tough is it to carry water using magic?" asked Dyllan.

"Water isn't a solid element," replied Tint. "Water is constantly in motion, you have to focus on all your thoughts and keep the water from dripping on the ground."

And Tint was right. Because while the salamander was looking at Dyllan, the salamander failed to see that water was dripping on the ledge below his feet. He made one slight move, and then he quickly slipped, losing his footing. Dyllan watched in horror as the salamander fell from the cliffside. He felt his legs urging to move and catch him. Before the salamander could hit the ground, Dyllan caught him just in time.

Tint, Cronaxx, and the guards were surprised to see Dyllan just jump into action as fast as he could. Dyllan rolls onto his back and shows the salamander with only a few scratches, and a bruise on his left leg. The guards immediately rushes back into the cave and Tint and Cronaxx smile at the human.

"Dyllan, that was incredible," said Tint. "You saved his life."

Dyllan stared in disbelief. "Huh, Yeah. I guess I did," he said.

The salamander who fell was most surprised. "You saved my life? Why?" he asked.

Dyllan looked at the salamander and said, "I wasn't going to let you get hurt. I had to do something."

"What were you doing up there in the first place?" Tint asked.

"Flaps told me to," he replied. "It was part of my initiation to be included in his friendship circle. He wanted me to throw a large water ball at the creature from the highest peak near the waterfall."

Cronaxx slowly approached the salamander and said, "You can't let people tell you what to do. To put yourself in danger like that, almost cost you your life. What if Dyllan wasn't there to catch you?"

"My parents would be very upset," said the salamander. He looks up to Dyllan, "Thank you, for saving my life."

Dyllan looked over to Cronaxx with a blank expression on his face. The words that Cronaxx said got to him thinking about what happened at the thrift store back home. He constantly thought that he could've done something, that he would have prevented his friend from taking the box. But then, his expression broke when Tint grabbed his attention.

"Dyllan, you okay?" he asked.

Dyllan shook his head back to reality and said, "O- Oh yeah, I'm fine." He puts the salamander down and gets up from the ground. "Can we just go home?" He walks away back to the cave, leaving Tint and Cronaxx puzzled.

"Is he okay?" the salamander asked. "He looks spooked."

"I think he's had a long day," said Tint. "By the way, what's your name?"

"My name is Spots," replied the salamander. "You know, because of my blue spots."

"That sounds like a cool name," said Tint. "You should go straight home, and tell your parents what happened."

Spots nodded, "Okay." He turns to the cave entrance and he leaves Tint's line of sight.

"Come on Tint," said Cronaxx. "Let's go home, I think Dyllan's been through enough."

The two leave the village entrance and make their way back to the cave. They see Dyllan curled up to a ball fast asleep. "I sure hope he's okay," said Tint. The two settle in just as the sun sets from the sky.

While Dyllan was dreaming, he dreamt about floating in the galaxy of stars he saw in his training. He sees another red cloud of magic approach him, and a bright light fills his eyesight. He opens his eyes again to see himself in a calm hospital bed. He looks out to see a city through the window and smiles at the night sky. He looks over to the cast on his left leg to see two blurry signatures. 'Who are they?' he thought.

The very next day, during breakfast, Dyllan and the salamanders were having a conversation. "So Dyllan, was everything okay yesterday?" Tint asked. "You looked spooked when you left the village entrance."

Dyllan took a deep breath and told them, "Oh yeah, I'm fine. I-It's just that I never did anything like this before... Saving someone I never knew."

Cronaxx nodded, "I get that feeling all the time. There were times when I felt like I could do something for everyone."

"Like what?" Dyllan asked.

"Well, I don't remember a lot about my youth," said Cronaxx. "I've lived for so long, I've lost track of time. And I've made a lot of choices back in my day. But every time I try to remember, it all just fades away."

"If there's one thing my uncle has taught me," said Tint. "It's that everything happens for a reason. And if you weren't around to save Spots, he would be dead right now."

"Yeah," said Dyllan. "It's just that… now that we're friends, there's something I have to tell you. Before I came to Amphibia, I had a chance to do something. To prevent a bad thing from happening. But I didn't take it. And the next thing I know, I ended up here. I feel so guilty now that I look back."

"Well, what happened, happened," said Cronaxx. "The only thing you can do now is to do better. To stand up for what you believe in. And when the time comes, you'll know you'll make the right choice."

Dyllan looks down at his breakfast and scrambles his eggs. "So, what's today's lesson Cronaxx?" he asked.

"Today is plain and simple," replied Cronaxx. "We're going to brew your first potion. It'll be an easy remedy. Are you up for it?"

Dyllan smiled and said, "Sure, I can do that."

The trio set out to gather ingredients for a health potion. The most common ingredients they could find were blisterwort fungi and wheat. Along the way, Dyllan saw a small spider just watching them, and flailing its legs out as if it was about to jump him. But Dyllan just lifts his foot up at the spider and stomps on it.

After gathering the ingredients, Cronaxx showed Dyllan how to blend the ingredients using his alchemy table. "It'll be an easy task once you get the hang of it," said Cronaxx. "Just grind them together and pour the substance in the water." Dyllan watched with fascination. He thought back to his days in chemistry class in Saint James.

After Cronaxx was finished, it was Dyllan's turn. He started mixing rough and fast, but Tint tapped on his arm. "Respect the ingredients," he said. "Otherwise, the potion wouldn't work." So Dyllan took his new friend's advice. Despite grinding a little too hard, he blended his first healing potion.

"Well done, Dyllan," said Cronaxx. "You have just made your first potion. It's not perfect, but it'll still work the same."

"Wow," said Dyllan looking at the vial of red liquid. "Mr Tenel is never going to believe this."

Then, as they were about to clean up, the village guards from the entrance came to their cave. "Tormak Residence. The chief wishes to see the creature," said the guard. "Please follow us."

Dyllan didn't know what to do, or what to say. So he cooperated with the guards and followed them. Tint and Cronaxx were most surprised by their unexpected visitors. So they followed them too.

In the village's meeting circle, the chief and his son Flaps were waiting, along with the other residents. Including Spots and his dad. They see Dyllan slowly walking up to the chief, with Tint and Cronaxx bowing behind him. Dyllan bowed to the chief as a sign of respect. Chief Nightoum nodded with respect, but Flaps quietly scoffed at the gesture.

"You wanted to see me chief?" Dyllan asked. He looked carefully and could see that their chief was blind.

"Yes," said Nightoum. "I can not see all that well. But I heard you have just saved the son of our village seer, Te' Kaya." He points to the blue spotted salamander standing next to Spots. He looked just like Spots, but much older and a tad paler. He wore a bone necklace and gold bracelets like a witch doctor.

"Thank you for saving my son," said Te'Kaya.

"I had to," said Dyllan. "It was the right thing to do. He could've been hurt or worse."

"And another reason why I've brought you here," said Nightoum. He turns to his villagers.

"My people, we must learn more about this visitor." He turns to his Seer, "Te'Kaya, what do you see?"

He chants in salamander tongue as he approached Dyllan. His pale blue spots started to glow at the touch of Dyllan's skin. Then, he yanks a strand of hair from the human's head. He takes some herbs, and places them over the fire. As he threw them down, a large burst of smoke filled the room. Then a small line of white blue smoke created an image of a human like Dyllan.

"These are strange creatures," said Te'Kaya. "His kind have various appearances. From bodies that shine like the sun, to as dark as the shadows of our caves." Dyllan watched in awe as the smoke turned the human figure into a snail. "They have kind and shy souls like the snails…" Then, the snail turns into a giant heron prowling across the circle. "But they also prowl with the might of the herons, consuming everything in their path."

Flaps watches as the giant heron cloud looms over him and approaches his father. "Father, he must not stay here!" he shouted. "He must leave this island for good. Or we can destroy him, like how we destroyed our enemies."

As the heron started to loom over the chief, the chief brushed away the smoke. "Flaps," he said. "In those battles, we knew how to fight our enemies. But this pale creature is strange to us." He goes over to the human and glances up at him with his blind eyes. "I do not know where you came from," he said. "But I can sense your heart. You are lost, hurt, and you feel alone."

"T-That's right, chief," said Dyllan. "I have no plans on staying here. I just want to go back home."

And just as the chief placed his hand on Dyllan's, the villagers heard crawling and screeching noises. Then, they saw rocks falling from above. One looks behind them and finds a spider roaring at them.

"SPIDERS!" "Protect the children!"

The salamanders acted fast and casted shields surrounding themselves, and their families. Dyllan stood his ground against the spiders with a fishing spear. But Tint came to his rescue and cast a shield spell protecting them.

But before Nightoum could blast the spiders back with a light spell, one spider with a scared eye came up from behind and stung Nightoum with its venom stinger. Nightoum stood paralyzed, unable to speak. The spider wrapped him in its webs and dragged him out of the village. Cronaxx even tried to cast a spell to scare the spiders out, but another spider stung him from his blind side. That same spider wrapped him in his webs and dragged him out with the chief.

Dyllan watched in horror as the salamander's leader, and his newly appointed teacher, were dragged away. Some of the other salamanders pushed the surrounding spiders away, but other spiders got lucky and grabbed more of the villagers as they retreated out of the cave. Dyllan couldn't believe his eyes, the spiders in this world were much bigger than him.

"Dyllan," said Tint. "Are you alright?"

Dyllan shook his head profusely and said, "They took Cronaxx!"

"And whose to blame for that?" Dyllan and Tint turn to see a rage filled Flaps with two of his guard friends behind him. "You led them right to us!"

"Now hold on," said Dyllan. "How is this my fault!?"

"All I know is that a group of spiders came, took my father and my people, ever since you stepped foot into our village! MONSTER!"

With a snap of his fingers, he calls on his friends to surround them. Dyllan, and Tint were surrounded by Flaps' followers. Tint wanted nothing more than to knock some sense into Flaps. "Your father was taken and you want to waste your anger out on us?!"

"Everything was perfect when that 'thing' wasn't around," said Flaps. "Now it's impossible to get my people back!"

Then Tint came up to Flaps, standing toe to toe with the hot headed cave salamander. "A wizard knows no such word," he said. "We can get everyone back, but we need to work together on this."

Dyllan nodded, "Tint is right. The only way we're going to get your people back is to find out where they're going and drive them further away from the village."

"Well, we did spot a few spiders forming a nest west of the island," said one of the guards. "They've been giving us trouble. Attacking us, stealing our food, webbing off exits."

Flaps didn't want to hear it, but Dyllan remained firm. "I want to help you and your people. But if we just sit here and do nothing, then they're gonna get eaten. Please, let me help you save your people."

Flaps wanted to get his father back, but he also wanted Dyllan out of his village too. So he ordered his followers to stand down. He turns around to the cave entrance, "Fine. We'll get him back," he said. "But once this is over, I want you gone."

"We'll see what the chief has to say about that," said the guard.

So Dyllan, Tint, Flaps, and a couple of night guards followed the spider trails leading them to the west side of the island. Along the way, Dyllan took out a compass from his backpack and kept pointing west. Tint was thinking of a plan on rescuing Nightoum and Cronaxx if they get there in time. And Flaps was still thinking of Dyllan as a potential threat, and had something else in mind.

The group reach the far side of the island, finding a large spider nest. The nest was a large open ground area with spiderwebbed columns and nests. Large egg sacks hatching by the hour, and being laid by the largest of them all. The queen of the spiders. The scarred spider brings the paralyzed chief to the queen and she places him on her web.

"I've got a plan," said Tint. "We need to create a diversion to lure the spiders away. Once we do that, Dyllan, you and Flaps can go to the queen's nest and break our people free."

"Sounds like a plan," said Dyllan.

Then, a guard gives Dyllan a spear. "Here. You're going to need this if you're going to cut our people free," he said. Dyllan thanked him by nodding quietly and grabbing the spear. "I hope your kind know how to use these."

The guards and Tint silently slip away. But before they go, Dyllan whispers in Tint's ear. Tint nods and leaves with the guards. Dyllan, and Flaps wait for the signal. As they wait, Dyllan starts wondering how long the distraction will last. "What if the distraction was cut short?" he asked.

"Then make every second count," said Flaps. "Besides, I'm not going to let my father, nor my people, get eaten."

Then, the two kids hear an explosion on the other side of the nest. The queen sends some of her scouts to check it out. Dyllan and Flaps make their way down to the nest quietly. They had to make every quiet step count. Cause one small loud sound, or trigger amongst the spiderwebs, could cause all the spiders to attack the intruders.

Flaps quietly signaled Dyllan to join him. The two reached the nest where all the salamanders are webbed up or cocooned. Flaps and Dyllan use their spears to free the salamanders. Dyllan finds Cronaxx's cocoon and quietly cuts him loose. Cronaxx falls on his face and Flaps drags him out of the nest.

After freeing the rest of the other salamanders, Dyllan and Flaps find the cocoon where Chief Nightoum is. Dyllan gives Flaps the spear, then gives him a boost to cut his father down. Flaps slowly inserted the spear into the silky webs and slowly pulls back to open it up.

While trying to cut his father out, Flaps grew scared at the sight of the queen and the scarred spider dangling above them. And his fear of Dyllan pushing him close made him feel on edge. He was so scared, he was shaking his spear, which made small trembles in the spiderwebs. Those trembles shook the nest and got the queen's attention.

Flaps opens this father out, then the queen jumps down and screeches out to her children to return. Dyllan grabs Nightoum in his arms and readies his spear in hand. Flaps however, just dropped his spear and casted a shield spell over himself. He cowered in fear, turned to Dyllan, and said, "They're all yours, creature." Dyllan couldn't believe it. Flaps would rather save himself other than the creature trying to save his father.

Dyllan dodged the queen's attacks and blocked all her strikes with his spear. But without any proper training and spells to cast, he couldn't do any real harm to the queen. He carries Nightoum over his arm, and ran across the nest while holding off the queen. Just as he reached the edge of the nest, the scarred spider swipes Dyllan off his feet with one of their legs, and knocks him down. He drops Nightoum and his spear in the process. Dyllan tries to get up, but the scarred spider doesn't give him a chance. He continuously rolls around in hopes he could get up, but the queen pins his cape down with her large fangs, and tries to sting him with her venom stinger. Dyllan closed his eyes and prepared for the worst.

"HEY!" shouted a voice.

The queen and scarred spider perks up just as they were hit by a fireball. They turn to see Tint with an angry look on his face. "Get away from him you filth!" He snaps his fingers causing sparks to flicker from his hand. The queen screeched and the scarred spider charged to fight Tint.

"Here, catch!" Tint launched another fireball and hit it directly in the spider's good eyes, rendering it blind. Then, Tint grabbed a batch of spider web and they instantly caught flames. The queen screeched in fear as Tint kept throwing fireballs and touching every web strand and egg sack there was.

The queen watched as the fires started spreading really fast. She tried to save as many eggs as she could, but she couldn't touch the eggs that caught on fire. The scarred spider tired to help their queen, but a patch of flames caught one of its legs and it started screeching in pain. Next thing the salamanders saw was the spider curled up its legs upside down just as the flames disappeared.

The fires got so intense that the spider scouts escorted the queen away from the nest. The queen screeched in agony as Dyllan grabbed Lerrad's staff, the unconscious Chief Nightoum, and fled into the forest.

The fires started to spread out of the hole, but then a burst of water extinguished the fires. The salamander who stopped the fires was Spots, and the night guards. They surrounded the flaming nests and casted a shield surrounding them to snuff out the giant fire pit. Flaps returned to the group just in time to escape with everyone else. As the fires were snuffed out, Dyllan and the salamanders returned to the village to help Nightoum, Cronaxx, and the others recover safely.

Around sundown, Nightoum stayed in his bed recovering from the venom. When he woke up, he heard the villagers feeling grateful for Dyllan saving their leader. He, Tint, and Cronaxx, who recovered faster than the chief, enter his room to check up on him.

"Chief," said Dyllan. "Are you okay?"

"I'll live," he said. "What happened?"

"Dyllan, Flaps, and Tint went into the spider nest to save us all," said Cronaxx. "Tint distracted the scouts while Flaps and Dyllan risked everything to save you, me, and the others."

"And then," said Tint. "Spots perfected his water spell to douse the fires and the guards kept it contained with a shield spell."

Nightoum was most pleased with their rescue mission. The only person who wasn't around was Flaps. "I would like my son to be in here please," he said.

"He should be outside," said Cronaxx. "We'll fetch him for you."

Outside Nightoum's room Flaps was slouching, hands crossed, and looked real mean. He spotted Tint, Dyllan, and Cronaxx leaving his father's hut.

"He wants to see you Flaps," said Tint.

Flaps uncrossed his arms and was about to walk inside, but then Tint stopped him.

"Uncle Cronaxx told him how we worked together to stop the queen from eating your father," he said. "But know this, we know the truth. You're on very thin ice. Not only did you leave my friend to fend for himself. You also left your father to die."

"So you're not going to tell my father?" Flaps asked.

"Nope," said Dyllan. "But keep your gills clean. And remember, you owe us big time."

Dyllan, Tint, and Cronaxx leave the village after a long day, leaving Flaps to himself until he goes into his father's hut.

Back in the cave, after a long day, Tint was preparing dinner for him, his friend, and his uncle. Tint laughed at the idea that the son of the chief is now putty in his hands. "You should've seen the look on his face," he said. "He looked like he was going to have another lecture about leadership. Being treated like everyone else is something he really hates."

Dyllan laughed too, "Yeah. You know, I was always taught not to judge a book by its cover. And now Flaps has a good reason not to get on our bad side." The two high five just as dinner was ready.

The Tormaks ate their bowls of mushroom soup. Cronaxx and Tint ate with delight, but Dyllan was a bit skeptical. Dyllan would still gag at the idea of eating bugs. But luckily for him, Tint made his soup first before he added bugs in the pot.

"So Dyllan," said Tint. "I saw your moves in that nest. All that dodging, and taking hits. How is it that you just fall down and get back up again?"

"I'm on the junior varsity lacrosse team back home," replied Dyllan "It's a common practice that I dodge, jump, weave and avoid the opposing teammates to win our games." As he finished his soup, Lerrad's staff started glowing again, but the trio didn't notice.

Later that night, Dyllan was looking out the cave entrance. He glances up to the moon with his desire to return home. He pulls out the photo of him and his friends. He stares down at the photo with hope and determination. "Goodnight girls," he said. "Good night Anne. Good night Marc, my Dungeon Buddy. And good night my Sashie." he pokes on Sasha's face on the photo. "Boop." He puts the photo back in his backpack, then slowly shuts his eyes and drifts off to sleep.

Keep on Truckin'
