Lois asked Clark to walk her back. To her apartment that is so she could at least get him a drink for helping her break the big story about Ivo. And maybe they can finally figure out these feelings between them. After all, this was a date right?

Jimmy is becoming concerned about how judgemental she is..."I'm sometimes a little concerned with his habits, but I wouldn't say he's in danger. I think it's pretty normal, I guess, given his size." "No, it's not. Literally, it's not normal to be Superman." "Wait, you figured out he's Superman? Is that Is that what we've been talking about this whole time?"

"Lois, actually, there's something I've been wanting to say. Something I need to tell you." Clark breathed in and began to lift his glasses. "I'm Superman—" ... "You're "super" what?" she asked, slowly turning toward him. An alternate scene in episode 4 season 1 "Lets Go to Ivo Tower, You Say", where Clark gets out that he is Superman.

After returning from his presumed death, Superman must adjust to what has changed in the world. Meanwhile Lex Luthor is up to new schemes.
