What if instead of walking away from Elizabeth after she rejected him, Darcy kissed her instead? Based off the 2005 movie. This is simply my adaptation of what could have happened instead. I don't any of the characters, they all belong to the lovely Jane Austen.

Shortly after the entire party departed from Netherfield, Darcy dreams about his botched proposal in April. He goes back to Netherfield to correct Elizabeth's impression of him sooner to save himself the heartbreak. Unbeknownst to him, Elizabeth has a similar dream. Early reconciliation for ODC, but others still try to get in their way.
