Is a prequel to the events of the main game while following the basic plot of The Promised Neverland Season 1. A few months prior to the Hour of Joy, three orphans named Elli, Rez, and Nathan accidentally discover what happens the kids who get 'adopted' and are never heard from again. With help from Poppy, they plan to escape from the Playcare Orphanage while outsmarting Mommy.

Bear in mind that this is a fanfic and things maybe exaggerated and the characters backstories will be off but I tried. After Prototype is killed and everyone else is brought back to life the group Smiling Critters try their best to move on from their trauma and most of them manage to handle it well but CatNap is still trying to make up for this while dealing with trauma of his own

What if the original cast for the Smiling Critters worked for Playtime Co. as Childcare Specialists for the Children before Playcare was created? These 'Audio Recording' stories cover important pieces from the past to the present for each character before and after their transformations, to the Hour of Joy! An AU of what could've been!

The Smiling Critters are enjoying a fun day in the park until a mean group that calls themselves the Frowning Varmints show up to ruin their fun. What is their problem?
