"Well, all I am saying is if it is a girl she should have my mother's name!" Candy said as she took a bite of the Christmas cookie she had just baked.

This story starts off with an argument between Candy and Jeremy and then snowballs to include the whole town of Seattle. Meanwhile, Jason is in Olympia on business while Joshua and Jeremy are minding the business at home. They have both had a bad day. Jeremy had to fire a couple of loggers and Joshua is confronted by Aaron Stemple with a 'new Contract' without Jason's name on it.
