AU Chelsie follows them throughout 2018-19's Year of the Dog. Chapter titles feature dog idioms and otherwise wag the dog's tail while the story introduces Charles to Elsie thanks to their dogs and eventually where they belong: together. Headlined by Charles/Jim, Elsie/Phyllis mashups with a LONG list of DA characters in supporting roles, cameos. A sprinkling of M adds to the fun.

Mrs Patmore decides to sell her B&B, after the house of ill repute scandal and she is devastated, but unexpectedly the Carsons decide to give her a helping hand. AU-different plot then we had in the series. Placed by the end of season six.

The telegram has reached him near the Somme in March 1916. Papa is dead STOP You're the Earl now STOP Funeral planned March 15 STOP Let us know if you can get leave STOP If not let us know how you wish to proceed with everything STOP Mary. Or how Mary and Matthew's reunion during the war could have looked like if Robert died before the Battle of Somme.

A fortuitous discovery gives Mrs Hughes an idea, one that might bring a little warmth to what is expected to be an otherwise quiet Christmas. An angst-free tale with no substance beyond the festive fluff.
