The Story of Darksinger

Have you ever thought about how the other NightWings felt when one of there own was an animus? What about when that same NightWing befriended another tribe's animus? Embark on the journey of Darksinger and her friends and see how they felt when these things happened. Featuring; Darksinger, Clearsight, Duskbringer, and Tinsel. 1. Intro to Darksinger

Darksinger ran to the window just in time to see the popular couple, Clearsight and Darkstalker, but before they passed by, a dragon named Listener intercepted them. Darkstalker frowned. Clearsight hugged her, and they said something Darksinger could not hear. Once they had flown away, Darksinger trudged to the kitchen and roasted a rabbit she had caught the day before. Her mother strode in on graceful feet as she was finishing her rabbit. "Darksinger! Just pack it for a snack!

You're going to be late!" "Yes, mother." She answered politely. "Good girl. Oh, and here's your lunch, have a good day, and don't forget to use your manners." Her mom said sweetly as she hugged Darksinger. "I will! See you later!"

She called back as she hurried out the door. Darksinger

smiled and flew off to school. I'm so lucky to have a mother like mine. "Darksinger!" A familiar voice called out. Who is that? Darksinger thought as she spun around to find her friend waiting for her.

"You're late!" She said, her face contorted in concern. Aquagem… when did I last see her? It's been a long time… Darksinger thought solemnly. "I couldn't sleep because of Thoughtful, he was studying all night."

That's what he said, though he was suspicious about it...hmm… "Aquagem.. have you seen Thoughtful today?" "I actually haven't….is something the matter?" Aquagem questioned, obviously suspicious as well. "Girls! Get to class! I won't punish you, but I can not promise the same about Principal Truthfinder."

"Yes Ms. Sundrop." The pair said, almost simultaneously. Here I come, school. "Aqua, go on to class, you know where it is, come on in, Darksinger." Said Ms. Sundrop, not unkindly.

Darksinger obediently walked in and looked around, and not seeing her brother, she thought, Oh, Thoughtful! Where ARE you? As she thought that she immediately spotted him with a dragon named Whiteout. What?... "Class attention please.'' Slowly the classroom became quiet and everyone including Thoughtful and Whiteout turned to look at the teacher. "Now that I have everyone's attention I would like to announce our new student...Clearsight!" That caused whispers in the crowd to begin. Isn't Clearsight the one who skipped all her grades until now?
