AU: Olivia and Elliot have been together for a really long time, around 17 years. They have no children together but Elliot still has his children with Kathy! I'm still unsure as to whether they will be included in this or not! Lucy is my own character!

"Elliot... Liv! I need a word..." Fin said softly, his hand rubbing his forehead as though trying to relieve an impending headache of some sorts. Immediately they raised their heads from the coffee machine and followed their colleague and friend into one of the interview rooms, dread filling their stomachs. Something felt off; the look on Fin's face, coupled by the sympathetic glances that were being sent their way by some of the other Detectives and the way Fin was pushing them down to sit on the chairs.

"We've been assigned a case... a teenage girl has been severely raped and beaten. The thing is..." Fin trailed off, his breath hitching as he tried to explain what was going on to two of his closest friends. Immediately Elliot began to feel sick, he had a feeling it was to do with their family... I mean, why else would Fin be talking to the pair of them on their own! He glanced at Olivia and it was obvious she felt the same.

"It's Lucy... your niece. One of the Doctors recognised your surname El and gave us a call, she's been in there since last night!" Fin trailed off, wiping his eyes slightly as Elliot got up and threw his chair at the wall. Not his niece, not little Lucy! She was only 15 years old, his sister's little girl and they were very close! Both he and Olivia loved that little girl as if she were their own and he looked at Olivia and she was devastated by it, this couldn't be happening. Not to her.

"Where's my sister? Please don't say that Lucy's been there all alone since last night!" Elliot said, growing angrier and angrier at Fin's silence. Their niece, their little niece had been traumatised and was now all on her own in some hospital bed.

"Come on El, she needs us now. We both need to try and keep calm!" Olivia soothed him, gently stroking his face and holding him tight when he lunged into her arms. He sobbed as he thought to his little blonde hair, blue eyed niece being violated in this way! Having part of her body stolen, her life changed forever was too much.

"Shhh... let's go and visit her, she needs us!" Olivia whispered, brushing a kiss to his lips before pulling away. She thought about the first time she had met Lucy as a baby in the hospital and she had fallen in love with the little girl, she was so angry. How dare they hurt her like this!! She pulled onto Elliot's hand and pulled him from the room, she turned her head.

"Fin you're in charge!" She said, rushing down the stairs two at a time trying to keep up with Elliot's fast paced walk. They got into the car, Elliot in the driving seat and he just floored it to the hospital. All they wanted to do was go and see their niece.

It took half an hour to get to the hospital and get parked up. It felt like hours had gone by, it felt like the whole world was in slow motion. Elliot and Olivia ran into the hospital, not really caring about the funny looks they were getting. Not when Lucy needed them! Luckily since they were here so often they knew the hospital like the back of their hand and knew most of the staff. They went running up to the front desk and one of their friends who was a nurse called Michelle grabbed them both and pulled them into an empty side room.

"I am so sorry that it took so long to contact you. We didn't put two and two together until one of the Doctors mentioned the surname... she was bought in by her mom who consented for the rape kit to be done and after that she just left!" Michelle said, looking as though she was going to be physically sick as did Elliot; his sister had never been reliable due to her mental health and bipolar disorder amongst other issues which was why both Elliot and Olivia had taken Lucy under their wing.

"How is she Mish?" Olivia whispered and Michelle took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down enough to explain to her two friends just what this girl had been through. She'd never seen anything like it in her whole career.

"She is completely and utterly traumatised, she has severe bruising, tearing and trauma to her private areas. She's also covered in bruises all over her body and has cuts to her face... she's severely hurt and she's only said a couple of things to me!" Michelle said softly and looked at the two Detectives who were staring expectantly, waiting for her to continue.

"After we found out who she was and that we were going to give you a call she said 'I just want my Auntie Liv and Uncle El'" Michelle said her lip quivering ever so slightly as she thought back to that little girl crying for her Aunt and Uncle. Both Olivia and Elliot's eyes filled with tears, they needed to go and see her now.

"Please take us to go see her!" Olivia blinked back her tears, trying to get it together before they went in there. Michelle smiled softly and gestured for them to follow her, which they did. She opened the door and both Olivia and Elliot stepped in and their hearts broke at the sight. Lucy was sat on the bed, her eyes wide almost like a deer caught in the headlights and tear tracks running all the way down her face. Her head snapped up and when she saw her two favourite people, her lip began to tremble.

"Auntie Liv? Uncle El?" She hiccuped and the two adults moved slightly closer to her, they moved even closer when Lucy held her arms out to Olivia and let out a guttural sob. Olivia immediately took the small girl into her arms and hugged her tight, allowing her to bury her face into her chest.

"Oh sweet girl... we are so sorry, we came as soon as we could! You're safe now, Auntie Liv and Uncle El are here now... it's ok baby!" Olivia cooed, very gently picking her up and sitting Lucy in her lap. The young girl buried her face into Olivia's chest and wept anxiously.

"Sorry... I'm sorry... shouldn't have gone!" Lucy cried out and Olivia rubbed her back and kissed her forehead. Elliot moved a little closer and bent down so he was more at Lucy's level, she looked at him and saw his warm brown eyes. She had been so frightened of every man that had come near her since she'd been here! However, she knew that she was safe and that her Uncle Elliot would never ever hurt her!

"Shhh..." Elliot soothed and wiped her tears away gently with his thumb, gaining more confidence when Lucy didn't flinch away. He kept wiping her tears away and felt his own tears slide down his cheeks which he quickly wiped away.

"Lulu is it ok if I sit here?" Elliot said softly and pointed to a space opposite them. Lucy nodded and Elliot sat down gently, she didn't know what it was... whether it was finally being safe or the fact that he used her childhood nickname but she reached for him. Elliot took her from Olivia and hugged her to his chest, gently brushing his knuckles over her bruised cheek.

"Uncle Elliot..." She wept, clinging to his shirt tightly and burying her face into his chest. He rocked the little girl back and forth, his heart clenching when her sobs increased.

"I'm here... Uncle Elliot's here now. You're safe now honey, it's ok!" Elliot soothed her, a small smile formed on his face when Lucy reached out and pulled Olivia in close. The three of them just hugged it out, allowing Lucy to cry and say whatever she felt.

"I never should've gone to that party... Mom said not to and I didn't listen! She said that if I'd have listened to her than I wouldn't have been hurt!" Lucy hiccuped and Olivia immediately shook her head, soothingly stroking her niece's hair.

"This was not your fault ok? No matter what led up to it, even if you did decide to be intimate with this guy to start off with. The moment you said no, he should've stopped! No means no... I am so sorry sweetheart!" Olivia cooed and immediately both she and Elliot frowned when Lucy next spoke, she wanted to kill whoever had hurt the little one who was like a daughter to her and another daughter to Elliot.

"I didn't want to be intimate with him at all Auntie Liv and I certainly didn't want the rest of them to hurt me either!" Lucy spoke softly and Elliot had to swallow down bile. So their baby niece was gang raped... oh god. They were both horrified and Olivia gently cupped her cheek, she looked so broken. That kid had been to hell and back and all they wanted to do was protect her.

"Oh my sweet girl, I'm so sorry that this happened to you!" Olivia whispered and Lucy crawled back onto her lap and she gently rocked the small teenager back and forth, pressing a gentle kiss to the tip of her nose.

"Now, Uncle El is going to speak to Nurse Michelle and see when we can get you out of here. Have you had any medications? Michelle said that you'd had your examinations done?" Olivia spoke soothingly, watching with a fond smile as Elliot left the room in search of their friend.

"Yes, they gave me one for STD's, one to prevent pregnancies and one for HIV..." Lucy sobbed slightly and buried in Olivia's arms, cuddling into her chest made her feel so safe and secure despite the horrific things that had happened to her. Lucy closed her eyes slightly and just focused on the sound of Olivia's heartbeat. Olivia caught on to what she was doing and smiled lovingly down at her.

"Auntie Liv's here... you're ok baby!" She soothed over and over again until the little girl was asleep, encased by her Aunt who was making her feel safe and loved.

An hour or so had gone by and Lucy was laying on Olivia's chest, her hand gently clinging to her top which made tears well up in her eyes; it reminded her of when Lucy was a little girl when the only heartache she'd experienced was falling off her bike. Elliot walked back into the room a little louder than he meant causing Lucy to startle and nearly fall off of the bed, Olivia caught her and held her tight.

"Honey... hush it's ok, you're safe! It was only Uncle El, you're alright. It's ok..." Olivia soothed over and over until Lucy was calm and more awake. Elliot cringed and sent an apologetic glance towards both Olivia and Lucy.

"I've spoken to Michelle and the Dr and they say that you can leave now, I've signed some forms and you're on bed rest for the next couple of weeks at least my darling. Would you like to come back to our house?" Elliot said softly and Lucy nodded her head, tearfully wiping her eyes.

"Come here, baby. Let's get you home..." he soothed, very gently picking her up in his arms and brushed a kiss to her forehead. Olivia walked alongside, gently smoothing Lucy's hair away from her face and whispering sweet nothings to the little girl. Olivia helped Elliot to get Lucy into the car and she got into the back with her when Lucy tightened her grip on Olivia's wrist.

"It's ok..." She soothed softly and buckled herself and the teenager up, whispering sweet nothings and holding her hand tight when she moved even closer to her Aunt. Elliot drove back to their apartment, glancing into the back every so often to make sure his two girls were ok.

"Now sweetheart, when we get home what would you like to do? Would you like to take a bath and wash your hair? We can send Uncle Elliot out to get some dinner and maybe some of that ice cream that you like?" Olivia said soothingly and wrapped a soothing arm around her when she buried her face into her neck.

"That sounds like it would be nice... Uncle El? Can you buy me some of those drinks I like please? You know the Vanilla Coke ones?" She said softly, not loosening her grip on her Aunt for even a moment. Elliot smiled at the little girl and pulled up outside the apartment, getting out and handing Olivia the house key and gently booped Lucy's nose like he would always do when she was little.

"Of course I can, you can have whatever you want honey!" Elliot said softly and got back in the car to pick up dinner and drinks. Olivia held her hand out to her and she took it, her eyes darting around fearfully and Olivia's heart broke. She very gently picked her up and held her, carrying her up the stairs and safely into the apartment. She whispered sweet nothings, reassurances and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead before placing her down and locking the apartment behind them both.

"Can you help me take a bath Aunt Liv? I need to get clean now!" Lucy said, digging her nails into her skin as though she was uncomfortable being in her own skin. Olivia gently stopped her from hurting herself, pulling her gently by the arm and into the bathroom.

"You're going to hurt yourself, baby. Don't do that... come on!" Olivia soothed, making quick work of filling up a warm bath. She added in some of Lucy's favourite bubble bath before turning around so that she could get undressed and into the bath. Olivia growled to herself when she heard Lucy's whimpers and hisses of pain.

"Oh honey..." Olivia whispered and bent down by the bath, seeing all the bruises on her body was eye opening and she wanted to kill whoever had done this to her. She helped the young girl wash her hair and body, she also put on a hair mask for her and left it to soak in.

"Hurts.." Lucy whispered and Olivia nuzzled the little girl's nose gently and ran her fingers through her hair. How she wished that she could take her pain away, she'd do that in a heartbeat if she could.

"I know.. I know. I'm so sorry baby!" Olivia cooed and began to wash her hair, getting all the product out and gently lifting her out. Olivia wrapped the little girl in an oversized fluffy towel and led her through to the bedroom. She dried Lucy off and got her changed into an oversized sweatshirt and some jogging bottoms before pulling her onto her lap and drying her hair, separating it into three parts so that she can braid it.

"Auntie Liv... thank you. Thank you for not asking questions and making me tell you right away!" Lucy said softly and Olivia nodded, smiling warmly as she braided Lucy's long blonde hair.

"You're welcome honey, you can tell us when you're ready! Your Uncle and I will be right here when you want to tell us..." Olivia said softly and stroked her hair when she snuggled in more. This felt safe and nice, she knew Aunt Liv and Uncle Elliot would never let anyone hurt her. She heard the front door open and tensed slightly, only relaxing when she heard her Uncle's voice.

"I've picked up pizza is that ok?" Elliot called through and made his way into the bedroom. This was the safest Lucy had felt in such a long time.

Lucy, Olivia and Elliot sat in bed with pizza, Vanilla Coke and a pint of ice cream. Lucy sat snuggled between her Aunt and Uncle, picking at the pizza and at the ice cream.

"Can I save the rest for tomorrow? I'm not hungry..." Lucy said softly and Olivia smiled, a motherly warmth going through her as she looked down at her.

"Of course, honey. You stay with Uncle El and I'll be back in a moment..." Olivia said warmly and took all the left overs from the bedroom. Lucy looked down slightly, her stomach was knotting badly and she felt sick.

"Uncle Elliot? Will this ever go away... this feeling that I have? I'm scared every time a man is around me... you're the only man who doesn't make me feel scared!" Lucy admitted and sighed contently when Elliot held his arm out, allowing the traumatised girl to cuddle in his arms.

"Eventually it will, sweetheart. I won't lie... it'll take a lot of work and healing but you're Aunt and I will be here for you, right by your side this whole time! You know... I am so honoured that you trust me enough to explain your feelings to me! I'm so proud of you..." Elliot cooed and brushed a kiss to her forehead, allowing her to cuddle up and fall asleep on his chest. Olivia came back in the room and smiled fondly, getting in next to the pair and running a soothing hand up and down her back.

"I want them all dead... how could anyone do this to her?" Elliot whispered, his heart clenched when he looked down at her. He felt so protective of her as did Olivia! She gently smoothed Lucy's hair as she slept, a protective warmth spread through her heart and stomach.

"I know... we'll get them though. We will be there for her and make sure those animals who hurt her get locked up!" Olivia soothed softly, both of them being there throughout the night with the terrified child. They had no idea how different it was dealing with victims every day, they could do that in their sleep! But dealing with their little niece was a different ballgame altogether and they hoped that they had what it took to get her the justice that she deserved.
