Chapter 49
"Ahh Rig I have been missing for 6 months and you forgot me your Best friend," Harry said removing the hood from his face as he dramatically kept his hand near his heart
"Ha...try" Rigel rushed and hugged him as tears poured down from his eyes
"Missed you too Rig," Harry said as he hugged his brother as they separated. Soon Harry received a punch in his face from Rigel who mumbled "I thought I had lost you. Idiot don't ever scare me like this" Harry rubbed the place where he had received a punch and smiled as he nodded
"Please take Daphne to the infirmary. I promise I'll return soon after I have dealt with this Bitc!" Harry requested Rigel who obliged and carried Daphne to Pomfrey
"You.. you dare..." Umbridge spluttered out in pain
"You must be Umbridge," Harry replied neutrally. "I heard that you looked like a toad but I didn't realize the resemblance was so uncanny," he said with disgust causing the woman to flush in anger.
Harry had once read a story about a woman who was locked in a room and driven insane by the room's yellow wallpaper. The story was fiction, but if there was ever a room that could accomplish the feat in reality, it was the office of Dolores Umbridge.
"How dare you" she screeched.
"Oh I will have you locked up for this" she hissed gesturing to the students on the ground and her hand which had been cut off.
Harry released Nott and his cronies from his spell, and they started reaching for their wands.
"If any of you reach any closer for those I will peel your arseholes up over your ears" he warned dangerously causing them to stop in their tracks and look at one another stupidly. "And you will find it will be you who will be going to Azkaban, but NO I will not be leaving you alive for that," Harry said knowingly to which Umbridge blanched but soon 3 Aurors arrived at her office
Umbridge began backing away to the safety of her own group and spoke when she reached them.
"You will regret this Potter" she vowed to the young man wagging a finger from her other hand towards him. "These Aurors are going to be taking you in," she told him confidently.
"Aurors?" Harry asked with raised eyebrows. "Aurors are supposed to protect the magical community and if they are allowing some of the most vulnerable people in it to be subject to this then they are not Aurors they are scumbags just like you" Harry replied casually readying himself for the inevitable attack.
"Dawlish" Umbridge screeched. "Arrest him" she commanded.
Dawlish stepped forward with a sneer on his face. He drew his wand but he was not quick enough. In a blink of an eye, Harry had drawn his wand and fired a bone breaker hitting the man in the knee, and causing him to collapse to the ground screaming in pain.
The other two Aurors drew their wands and went on the attack. Harry dodged the spells with ease.
He caught the spell of one of the Aurors and hissed at it, sending it back to its caster with blistering speed. The spell found its mark and as it hit the man a very large green snake appeared and coiled itself around him, wrestling the man to the ground.
"Hold him" Harry hissed at the snake which quickly subdued the Auror it had in its grasp.
"Avada Kedavra" the last man screamed and a jet of green light hurtled towards Harry who did not have time to dodge. Instinctively he conjured a brick wall that managed to form just in time to be struck by the curse smashing it into several dozen pieces which Harry quickly banished at the man, hitting him with several of the fragments. He then quickly bound him in the black chains and did the same to the whimpering Dawlish who was still clutching his legs.
Harry summoned his sword and with a flash slit, Umbridge's throat cutting her head off from her body whimpered for a few seconds, and finally, it was stable. Bitch was dead.
Harry turned to see his friends had arrived there and they had seen him cut Umbridge's head off.
"Harry" Tracey shouted with joy.
"It's good to see you too Tracey" Harry replied, shaking his head.
"Decided to show yourself at last then" a bitter voice cut in.
Harry turned to see Draco who glared at him. Before anyone could think of anything Draco had rushed and punched Harry hard in his stomach, Harry stumbled back a few steps as he winced in pain.
"I appear after 6 months, this is how you idiots treat me" Harry scowled at them.
"I missed you idiot" Draco as he hugged his friend "Me too drake" Harry smiled
"How's Daphne?" Harry asked Tracey
"She is fine but is unconscious" Tracey replied
"Okay guys see you later, Have some work to do" Harry waved as he vanished with Umbitches body.
~Flashback end~
"So yea this is it," Harry said as he spat at Umbitch's body
"WHAATT!" Cyrus yelled as he held his wand and pointed it at Lord Nott who was dumbfounded at this turn of events
"Your fuckin son tried to molest my daughter tell me why shouldn't I end your line right here" Cyrus yelled
"Lord Greengrass I am sure there is some misunderstanding my son would never do such a horrible crime" Nott replied in fear
"Uncle Cyrus, Daphne is fine nothing has happened to her" Harry assured Cyrus who brought his wand down at Harry's insistence
"Fine, but Madam Bones I would like to dodge a formal complaint against Nott's Brat," Cyrus told Madam Bones who nodded at his request
"You attacked three aurrors and killed my undersecretary" Fudge yelled at Harry
"Yes, I did," Harry replied
"For this crime, I sentence you to dementor's kiss right here and right now" Fudge yelled
"Silence fool" Harry silenced the minister who covered under Harry's glare
"I Hadrian James Potter, am here to take my family title"
"That's not possible Heir Potter, Your father is Lord Potter" Dumbledore cut in
"Who said I am here for the title of Lord Potter, Yes I will be here for that title in the future not now" Harry clarified
"I am here to take my title as Lord Protector," Harry said
Everyone was dumbfounded, the Title of Lord Protector was of the Peverell family who had gone extinct 1000 years ago. Yes, the Potters were their proxy in wizengamot but they never claimed the title of Lord Protector and they were only allowed t vote using their proxy rights during nominations of new ministers of chief warlocks...
James couldn't believe his son had done what many Potter couldn't do for 1000 years he had been chosen as Peverell's Heir.
"Fine then let magic accept your claim if you are found lying your magic will be sealed" Dumbledore warned as it was the standard protocol.
"I HADRIAN JAMES POTTER CHOSEN HEIR TO THE PEVERELL MAGIC, AM HERE TO TAKE MY TITLE AS LORD PROTECTOR OF WIZENGAMOT. I WILL DO MY DUTY TO PROTECT THE LAW AND FUNCTIONING ON WIZENGAMOT IN A LAWFUL WAY AND MAKE SURE THAT NO INJUSTICE OCCURS IN THIS HOLY BODY OF GOVERNANCE 'Novissima autem inimica devicta morte erit'" Harry yelled as the room was covered in a flash of lights signaling the acceptance of Harry as Lord protector and a Black colored throne appeared right next Potter's seat which was also designed a throne but it was made of gold.
"It can't be allowed, you are a murderer" Minister yelled as he summed up all his courage
"Minister I'll be coming to you shortly but before that let magic be the judge of my crimes" as Harry said that there was a flash of white light in the whole room declaring Harry innocent of all crimes
"Now Minister I as the Lord Protector request the magic to be the judge of your crimes and unlawful activities which you carried out in your post as Minister if you are found guilty may your magic be absorbed into Wizengamot as it's own" Harry finished as bright red color flashed as many papers appeared which were filled with all the crimes fudge had committed before anyone could notice there was a loud heart-piercing scream from the Minister as green colored light was radiating out of his body indicating his magic being taken from him. After the green light stopped, the minister lay dead in front of the room.
Soon everyone settled down taking in all the events that had happened. Harry told everyone to take a look at the paper in front of them which showed all the crimes committed by the minister there was an uproar as Dumbledore silenced them and there was another sheet that showed transactions of Fudge's personal accounts which showed that all the ministries funds were transferred into his account which enraged people even more and soon everyone settled as Harry started talking about how this esteemed body has been ruined by such corrupt people and also said that all funds have been transferred back from Fudge's account to ministry. Amelia Bones was appointed as the new minister. Harry also insisted on reviewing all the laws passed by Fudge's government like werewolf laws and others that were revoked.
