Chapter 1: A Moses Story

-Planet Vegeta, Deep Space-

On the home of the Saiyans: Planet Vegeta—named after a line of kings that took the same name—there existed a nursery full of incubation pods where many infants resided. In one such pod, there was a black and spiky haired infant with olive colored skin, he currently slept within the incubator in a sort of homeostasis.

The pod he was in was also green and his Saiyan tail flicked around unconsciously, its tail muscles showing through with every movement. This was Broly, the son of the Saiyan scientist Paragus.

Outside his pod, there were several scientists with the king himself, who was looking at his son's pod in pride.

"Ah, my son, one day you'll grow into a ferocious king, I'm sure of it." The man said before he noticed the green pod. "Who's son is this?" He questioned.

"His name is Broly, the son of Commander Paragus, sire. We have him here because… well." One of the scientists said.

"To put it bluntly, your majesty, his power level was well over nine thousand." A female Saiyan states. "Possibly even ten thousand, given our best estimates." She added, looking at the child.

"What is he doing in this chamber?! This is supposed to be reserved for potential assets!" King Vegeta yelled.

"Oh but young Broly could very well be an asset. In fact some of us have suspicions that he may be the… legendary super Saiyan." The third scientist said. This caused the leader of the Saiyans to stiffen.

"... I want him sent to planet Vampa." He growled.

"... Your majesty?" The first said.

"Do it. Now." The King states angrily as he walks away, his cape swishing dramatically.

(Elsewhere)

Around the same time (Or possibly a bit longer) A Saiyan couple was currently trying to spirit their own son, a boy named Kakarot, to a planet where he'd be safe.

The boy's father, Bardock, had a gut feeling that something bad was going to happen, so he wanted his son far away from their home planet in case that eventuality came to pass.

"Are you sure about this?" Bardock's wife, Gine, questioned.

"I'm sure. This is the best way to ensure our son's survival." Bardock replied, taking his wife's hand. "Do you trust me, Gine?" He questioned.

Gine looked at her husband, and then at her infant son in her arms, before nodding. "I trust you." She nodded as she and Bardock held Kakarot close.

"Be strong, Kakarot. I promise, if we can, we will find you one day." His father told the boy, rubbing his hair in a show of affection.

"And if we die, we'll see you again one day." Gine told her son tearfully. There was no denying that this was the hardest thing she would have to do.

The boy sniffed as he held onto his mother before Bardock placed him in the pod, still confused and afraid.

"This is goodbye, Kakarot. Good luck on Earth." Bardock told his son as the pod closed.

Gine's tears flowed as they watched the pod take off into space, heading for its destination.

(Later)

Meanwhile, the infant Broly's pod was stuck in a ship and sent to the planet Vampa, with his father following. However, fate is rarely so predictable…

This was because, on the way to Vampa, Broly's pod collided with both Kakarot's pod and an asteroid that sent the smaller Saiyan hurtling down to Earth's Kansai region of Japan–while Broly's was completely knocked it off course–while also destroying the on-board tracker in the process–and was sent to the same region as the younger Saiyan boy.

This meant that his father, Paragus, would never realize this as he continued to Vampa and found no trace of his son. Broly, meanwhile, would find his way to a far better world.

One where he and his fellow Saiyan Kakarot would grow into strong fighters… Heroes.

(Timeskip)

Fast forward about four years after the infant Saiyan's pod crash landed on Earth in the country of Japan and the boy was then adopted by the childless couple Inko and Hisashi Midoriya.

Meanwhile, little Kakarot was adopted by a wise old man, Gohan, his wife Pama, and their daughter Matabi–with the young woman becoming the boy's surrogate mother and her parents becoming his doting grandparents.

The poor tyke had suffered a pretty hard concussion upon landing, so he likely wouldn't remember anything of his home planet. And to match his Simian attributes–the small family of free gave him the name of a legendary monkey.

Son Goku.

Now, context time.

In this world, everyone had superpowers known as commonly as Quirks that showed up at around age four or five in the cases of late bloomers. With the percentage being split between eighty percent of the population that was superpowered, and twenty percent that was not.

Even if Kakarot–Goku–and Broly–renamed Izuku Midoriya by his new family–didn't have quirks, they could definitely make things work with what they did have.

To go down the list, they are as follows:

First, was their metabolism. The amount of food that they ate was insane and hard to keep up with. To compensate, the Izuku's mother started up a garden so they could keep themselves supplied without much of a hassle.

While in contrast Goku's family lived in the country, so food was very plentiful.

Second was the tail–or stump in Izuku's case–that their families found on them.

Apparently they had a simian tails as well before arriving to earth, but Izuku's was removed and cauterized, thus preventing it from being able to grow back.

The Midoriyas assumed this body part was like the top knot of a samurai, and the removal of which meant that he was an outcast.

Goku, meanwhile, still had his tail. And his family was quick to deal with what came next when he transformed into a giant ape during a full moon. It took several heroes and a good few loads of food to calm him down, and when the opportunity was available–the tail was cut off.

Third was both boys abnormal strength, stamina and overall heartiness and durability. All were at superhuman levels and as far as they knew, they didn't have quirks.

But in Izuku's case in particular–he also possessed great intelligence, as well as a less than beneficial temper.

Put simply, if Izuku was angry enough, he could likely shatter a mountain into rubble. Though luckily for most, he had a very gentle touch to him when he's calm, making him so approachable that wildlife would flock to him and bask in his presence.

Though both boys also had something else on their side: they also had the ability to use their life force—or Ki—as a sort of weapon or asset. This allowed them to enhance their physicality, create energy attacks, and even fly to a lesser extent.

This ability made it seem like they had quirks, but with a lack of an actual quirk factor, many doctors still decided to classify them as quirkless. Though this did little to dampen the young boys' spirits about becoming heroes, since they already knew that they were strong on their own.

The two lived in different prefectures–but that soon changed when Matabi moved to Izuku's neighborhood and the two started going to the same elementary school with other kids in the area.

For example…

Currently, Izuku was in the woods alone with two deer fawns that he fed regularly, petting the two animals as they came up close to him. The boy smiled as he petted them, but his moment of peace was ruined when Katsuki Bakugo along with his lackeys suddenly assisted and scared them off. They laughed while Izuku looked angry.

He knew Bakugo from his grade school, but he never talked to him, or anyone else for that matter. As he seemed to learn that dealing with people led to annoyance, annoyances led to anger, and anger—at least in his case—led to things getting destroyed.

Katsuki smirked as he punched his palm, causing a small explosion. "Hey! Izuku Midoriya, right? This is your hangout spot?" The blonde questioned as the boy glared at him and got up, showing that he was at least two or three heads taller than the explosion user.

"Yes, and you scared my friends away." The green haired boy replied as his Ki powered up. "You're making me angry, Katsuki. You won't like me when I'm angry." Izuku growled. The Pomeranian just grinned.

"Show me." He challenged. Glancing at a tree, he walked over to it, grabbed it… and ripped it out of the ground before he crushed it… with one hand. The display was intended to intimidate the blonde, but it just made his smirk widen into a full on smile. "Now we're talking!" The boy said as he and his cronies charged at Izuku, clashing with him.

(Later)

After half an hour of cutting loose on each other, Katsuki and Izuku finished out the fight by slamming their heads together over and over again, causing small shockwaves until the last collision sent them flying into two trees, making them collapse in exhaustion. Covered in various injuries.

"Head… Hurts." The Saiyan groaned.

"Oh, mom's gonna… kill me…" Katsuki groaned as he held his throbbing head. If he didn't get CTE from this fight, it would be astonishing.

His lackies were also out cold in the decimated forest, and as the kids laid there, the two fawns from before walked up to the two and started licking their cheeks.

Izuku looked at them and smiled slightly. "Good deer." He smiled warmly, stroking its head.

(A few days later)

Two small fists sailed through the air as Izuku and Goku both sent Katsuki and his goons flying across the playground–they were defending a kid that the trio was in the process of tormenting from any further harm.

"Kacchan, just stop already. It's not working." Izuku grunted as he popped his neck.

"Like hell I'm gonna stop cuz you tell me to!" The blonde blurted, explosions sparking in his palms.

"Hey, I'm always down for more fights." Goku shrugged, getting into a martial arts stance.

Katsuki and his goons must've had a keen interest in demonstrating the definition of insanity, since they just rushed forward again and got knocked back as they repeated this process several times. It wasn't until they were knocked out that they stopped.

"I tried to warn them." Izuku sighed as he sat on top of the two other kids, who were collapsed on a heap.

"Aw, I think he's broken." Goku whined, looking at Katsuki–before turning and lighting up as he saw that the jungle gym was empty. "Yeah!" He cheered as he zipped up to the top in a cartoonish zoom before he started jumping on it. "I'm king of the castle! I'm king of the castle!" He sang.

"Really, Goku?" Izuku sighed with more exasperation than most kids should have.

(Timeskip)

Eleven years later, both Izuku and Goku were now fifteen and they were now in middle school together.

Both had changed quite a bit since they were kids. I

In Izuku's case, his body now much more muscular than when he was a kid, his hair was a bit longer and he was also now a staggering six foot eleven inches, pushing an even seven feet. He was a very large kid and he was still growing.

Goku, meanwhile, didn't really change much. He just grew a bit taller and was far more muscular than before because he'd been training with another friend of theirs–Krillin–under the tutelage of Master Roshi.

Izuku also did some training with the man, but not very much. He wasn't a big fan of Master Roshi's perverted tendencies.

The man was a brilliant martial artist, but that can only get you so far when you're also an unapologetic pervert.

As the duo walked, the sound of commotion caught his attention, causing him to look up and see that a giant villain was attacking the train station.

"How many times have villains stopped the commute this month?" A person asked.

"Seventh, I think." Another replied.

"Oh joy…" Izuku groaned as he looked around. Pulling out a notebook he had with him, he decided to analyze what he was seeing.

"These people really don't learn, do they?" Goku sighed.

"This coming from the guy who's near the bottom of our class academically?" The taller saiyan questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"Sh-Shut up! It's not my fault they make the schoolwork so hard!" Goku shot back in embarrassment.

"Uh huh…" Izuku uttered flatly, having heard that argument a large amount of times over the years.

As he looked around, he saw Death Arms keeping debris from hitting civilians while Backdraft made a water barrier to keep the onlookers back. Kamui Woods, meanwhile, was taking on the villain in question. Izuku watched as he leapt around the larger foe's attacks before getting his finishing move ready.

"Can't really say that I think that's gonna work…" The Saiyan said.

"Why do you say that–?" Goku questioned, right as the hero made his move, only for a massive woman to come crashing out of nowhere with a flying kick to the villain's side. "And like that I retract my previous question." He nodded.

"No need to worry about this bum anymore, boys!" The woman said with a smile, causing Izuku to facepalm.

"I'm just gonna go ahead to school." He said in exasperation before walking off.

"Right there with you." Goku nodded as he followed his friend.

(Later)

As the duo reached their classroom, Goku went in first.

"Watch your head." The boy called to Izuku–right before he soon fell victim to the door frame—which was not tall enough for him—causing himself to hit his head on said frame.

This was something of a regular occurrence with the boy.

"Ow…" The Saiyan said flatly, rubbing his forehead.

A few people chuckled lightly, but he didn't pay them any mind as he sat down at his desk.

"You really gotta learn to duck, man." Krillin told the Saiyan.

"Tried already. It's too difficult." The gentle giant stated. He wasn't wrong, every time he tried to duck before he hid the frame, he got a crick in his neck.

"Oh. Right." The same kid remembered.

"Alright, settle down kids!" Their teacher exclaimed as class began. "Now, as third year students it's important to start thinking of your futures and what you want to do with your lives." He continued, taking a stack of papers. "Now, I could pass out these career aptitude tests. But why bother?" He continued before tossing the papers into the air. "I know all of you want to join the hero track!" The man added.

Everyone started cheering, their quirks on full display. Izuku just sat at his desk with a bored expression. Katsuki, meanwhile, scoffed.

"Yes yes, you all have powerful quirks, but no power use in class!" The teacher stated.

"Oi! Don't lump me with the rest of these extras! I'm the real deal but these guys will probably only get jobs as sidekicks to some busted D-lister, ha!" He yelled, causing the other students to yell at him.

"You think you're better than us, Katsuki?!" One of them yelled as everyone started yelling.

"Let's go, I'll take you all on!" The blonde challenged.

"Hmmm, you've got impressive test results. Maybe you will get into UA high." Their teacher mused.

"He's going to try for the National School?" A girl asked.

"But it's next to impossible to get in there!" Another kid added.

"That's why it's the only place worthy of me. I aced all the mock tests and I have the best chance of getting in." The blonde stated. "I'll end up more popular than All Might himself, and be the richest hero of all time! The whole world will know my name, and it all starts with U.A. High!" He added proudly as he hopped on his desk.

"Oh, Midoriya, Goku. I see you're both applying to UA as well." The teacher noted, causing Bakugo to go rigid.

"Hehehe, yep. You got us." Goku chuckled nervously.

"I hope there's no problem with that." Izuku nodded calmly.

This caused everyone to look at him nervously.

"You sure that's a good idea?" Krillian questioned.

"Yeah, I mean, you guys are strong as hell but it's not like they'd accept someone without a quirk." One kid said.

"Actually that rule's been removed so it's fair game. Plus I've been training constantly, so I should be able to at least get a passing grade." The green haired Saiyan stated.

"Same here. The practicals will be easy." Goku nodded with an easy going smile.

"You chuckleheads think you can beat me?!" Katsuki barked.

"We have before. This won't be any different." The son of Bardock shrugged, causing everyone to freeze as Katsuki's blood began to boil.

"He's not entirely wrong." Izuku nodded.

"You think UA is gonna accept a quirkless giant like you?! Or a dumbass like Goku?" Katsuki questioned.

"Hey!" The Saiyan blurted indignantly.

"You don't even like fighting people!" The red eyed boy scoffed. "Face it, Deku! You don't have what it takes to-!" He started to bellow before Izuku's pencil snapped, cutting him off. The tall boy then stood up, towering over him while he looked down straight into his eyes.

"I may not like fighting people, but I am willing to cast that aside to defend the innocent if need be." Izuku stated calmly. "If I am to become a hero, I must learn to do such things. Is that a problem, little Katsuki?" He questioned with a firm tone that seemed hard as stone. The rest of the class was shocked at how blatantly charismatic the gentle giant was right now. It was like he had become a whole other person.

'Sometimes I forget how different he is when he's like this…' Goku thought with wide eyes.

As the two stared each other down, the Pomeranian let out a tsk as he looked to the side. "Whatever. If you wanna make yourself my rival, then fine. Just don't get in my way." He retorted.

"I think that's the most level headed thing you've said all day." The green haired boy said, his softer demeanor returning as if nothing ever happened.

Which made Katsuki roll his eyes as they both sat down.

"Ehehehe… dodged a bullet, huh?" Goku chuckled nervously.

"Whatever." He sighed as their class continued.

(Later)

As Izuku was packing up his backpack to head home after school, Katsuki walked up to him and waved a slip of paper in his face.

"What's that?" Izuku asked as he looked at the paper.

"A ticket to the gym I go to. If you're gonna be my rival, I want you to train like I do." The exploder explained.

"Why? Maybe the way you train doesn't work for me." The boy retorted, only for the blonde to give it to him.

"I'll take it, if Izuku doesn't want it." Goku called from his own seat as he got his bags.

"Suit yourselves." The bomber shrugged as he handed the ticket to Goku before he walked off.

"Hey Izuku, Krillin and I are gonna hit up Old Man Kai's Ramen shop. You wanna come?" Goku called as he and the bald teen went to the door.

"Not today, but thanks anyway." Izuku replied as he got his stuff together.

(Later)

As he walked, Izuku continued to look through his notebook to drum up ideas for special moves, but was pulled from his thoughts as he felt someone bump into him.

"Oof! Sorry about… that." A female voice apologized before becoming slightly surprised, causing Izuku to look up from his notebook and see a girl standing in front of him.

It was a girl of medium height, possibly set a little more broadly than some of the other girls her age with–based on his view–healthy thighs. Her skin is a slightly dark shade of pink, and she had somewhat square-shaped eyes with black sclera and yellow irises and notably long eyelashes below and around the sides of her eyes. She also had an athletic body.

Her face was framed by short fluffy, unruly pink hair slightly lighter than her skin. She also had two thin pale yellow horns protruding from her head, hooked squarely and leaning diagonally to opposite sides, which seemed to be slightly flexible, able to bend a bit to each side.

The girl quickly hastened to apologize to him–but as she looked up at him, she accidentally fell backwards in surprise.

As soon as this happened, the boy's instinctual desire to help kicked in. So he quickly knelt down and held out his hand to her.

"Are you okay?" He asked her softly.

"Yeah, I'm good." The girl nodded as she accepted the offered hand. "Who are you?" She questioned.

"Izuku Midoriya. And you are?" The gentle giant asked in reply.

"Mina Ashido." The girl replied as Izuku helped her–causing her heart to pound while her face turned a light shade of purple. 'Wait, what is this?!' She gasped mentally, right before her eyes nearly bugged out when she got a real good look at Izuku. 'Oh my god, those neck muscles look like they could cut diamonds!' She thought in shock, while also wondering how his uniform was able to contain such a physique.

"Hm… I don't think I've met anyone with naturally pink skin like yours." Izuku hummed with a bit of interest. "Is that because of your quirk?" He wondered.

"Huh? Oh! Yeah, actually. It is." Mina nodded. "And… What about you? You're real big for someone our age." She noted.

"Higher than normal metabolism." Izuku shrugged. "It's not a quirk, but it is a thing for me." He added.

"Oh." The pink girl uttered.

"Are you heading to the train station?" The gentle giant asked her.

"Uh, yeah, I was just headed there." Mina nodded. "Do you know where I need to turn to get there?" She asked.

"You just need to head south and take a right turn before making a left and heading straight from there. The train station will be two blocks away after that." The giant replied.

"Thanks." Mina said before she got an idea and took a pen and wrote something on Izuku's hand. "Here, my number. Give me a call sometime when you're free, okay big guy?" She told him with a smile.

"Um… Okay?" Izuku responded in minor confusion as he looked at the number written on his hand while the girl made her way to the train station.

The boy scratched his head as he walked home.

He never really was popular with the ladies when he was little or now. Not to say they didn't find him attractive—far from it—it's just that most preferred not to date him because his imposing size scared them, or it was because his gentle nature made him seem too pure to be dated just yet.

So for him to get two numbers from a pair of girls like this, it was definitely a good confidence booster for him. 'This is… new to me.' He mused inwardly.

(Elsewhere)

Meanwhile, at a nearby ramen shop that looked like it was a simple wooden stand on a street, Goku burst into a coughing fit as he nearly choked on some of his meal.

"What?!" The boy gasped as he looked at Krillin. "You're gonna enter Shiketsu High? What the hell for?!" He exclaimed.

"Well, it's already gonna be crowded at UA, so I'm gonna try my luck at Shiketsu." Krillin replied with a shrug. "UA feels a little too intense for me, anyway." He added with another shrug.

Shiketsu was the best course that was only second to UA, but it was in the Kansai region while UA was in the Eastern Kanto region–meaning Krillin would be clear across the country.

This caused Goku to get puppy eyes as he hugged his friend–even though they were teenagers, Goku still hated it when his friends were away from him for long periods of time. It was something that seemingly never changed.

"I wanted all of us to go to UA!" He whined in comical dismay.

"Ah, come on, buddy. It won't be that bad." Krillin sighed as he hugged his friend back.

(Elsewhere)

Meanwhile, back with Izuku, the boy was currently still thinking about what to do about this chance encounter with Mina while he entered her number into his phone while passing under a bridge.

Though unfortunately, his musings were soon interrupted when he passed under a bridge and a slime villain popped out of the sewers behind him.

"A meatsuit. Perfect timing." He gurgled as he grabbed the Saiyan, only for him to flare his Ki and force him back. "What the-!" He exclaimed in shock.

"You almost got slime on my uniform." Izuku stated, attempting to keep his voice level as his ki flared. "That makes me angry, you shouldn't make me angry." He continued as his ki turned green. "You wouldn't like me when I'm angry." He added.

"You think that scares me?! I'll overtake you and make you my meatsuit! I still gotta escape!" The sludge villain exclaimed. It was at that moment, the manhole cover was knocked off of its position, causing both to look at it.

"It's alright, everything's fine." A deep voice said. "Now that I'm here that is." The figure who spoke added, and as soon as he saw the man, Izuku instantly recognized him.

"All Might." He uttered in amazement.

"No… not now…!" The sludge man uttered in fear.

"Texas SMASH!" The hero yelled as he reared his fist back and threw it forward, sending a wave of pure force at the sludge villain and scattering his body everywhere. Izuku managed to hold his ground and avoid getting knocked off his feet, albeit with a small amount of effort.

Though the ordeal did leave the boy a bit dizzy as he tried to get his footing back while All Might gathered up the villain in a soda bottle. "Whoa… Dizzy." The boy groaned as he fell on his backside.

"Are you alright, young man?" The No. 1 Hero asked as he walked up to him.

"Urg… Been better." The Saiyan sighed as he got up.

"Sorry about that, I didn't mean to get you caught up in my justicing." All Might told him. "Usually I'm much more careful, but as it turns out this city's sewer system is pretty difficult to navigate! Ha ha ha ha!" He added with an awkward laugh.

"Right…" Izuku said flatly before taking out his notebook. "Anyway, could you-" He started to ask as he opened his notebook and saw that it had already been signed. "... Well okay, then." He said with a blink.

"If you don't mind my asking, Young Man, What is your quirk exactly? It looked like an augmentation type from where I was standing." The man asked.

"Technically speaking, I'm quirkless." The boy replied, causing the Symbol of Peace to do a double take.

"Then what was that you did?!" He asked in disbelief.

"To be honest, I have no concrete answer. You see, a friend of mine and I've had this power for as long as we can remember. Its origins are unknown to both of us." Izuku explained. "Though I do have a theory, or two… but I won't bore you with the details." He added.

All Might seemed taken aback by this and seemed lost in thought, before something pulled him out of it. 'He seems capable of manipulating Ki, like the Tortoise and Crane schools… But that can wait, for now I need to go. I'm running out of time!' He thought before he quickly said goodbye and jumped away.

Izuku watched him leave and remembered something important. "Crap! I forgot to ask him that!" He said before he used his Ki and leapt into the air after him.

All Might, hearing something behind him, turned and was shocked when he saw Izuku straight up flying!

"Okay, now that's just ridiculous!" He exclaimed over the winds.

"I'm sorry for inconveniencing you, but I really need to ask you something important!" The Saiyan exclaimed over the winds as he flew.

"Can it at least wait until we've landed?!" The man questioned.

"Of course! I'm determined, not crazy!" The boy called back as the two landed on a roof and the Saiyan doing a bit of a tuck and roll. "Well, that was better than last time." He shrugged as he dusted himself off.

"I'm sorry, 'last time'?" All Might questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"Crashed in my neighbor's house, glass went everywhere, had to help fix it. And it took me weeks to get all the glass out of my skin." Izuku explained.

"... Okaaaay… What did you wanna ask me?" The No. 1 Hero asked awkwardly, trying to move things along.

"As mentioned before my friend Son Goku and I have very similar physiologies and are capable of using our Ki to preform great feats thanks to the help of Master Roshi." The boy explained. "But in my case–I was gifted with great strength and power that even surpassed Goku's since birth, but neither of us never developed a quirk." He continued. "But I also know that in the world of heroes, there will probably be villains out there who are stronger than I am even with this strength at my disposal." The Saiyan explained. "So, All Might, I want to know…" He continued as the hero's body began smoking unbeknownst to him. "Do you think it would be possible for the two of us to become a hero with our strength alone?" He asked.

'Dammit… Not now…!' All Might thought as his form was consumed by smoke. Izuku turned and blinked upon seeing the smoke, but when it cleared and revealed a skeletal man in the hero's place, he was equal parts shocked and confused.

"Um… What?" Was all the gentle giant could say.

"Most people would be shocked by what they just saw." The lanky man commented.

"Confused is more like it." Izuku clarified.

"Fair enough. But yeah, this is what I really look like. You know those fat guys at the pool who pretend to be buff? I'm like that." The skinny hero explained.

"How did this happen?" The Saiyan questioned. He got an answer in the form of a very nasty looking scar on the hero's torso. "... How?" The boy questioned as he sat down, a mixture of shock and slight anger making him do so.

"A fight I had five years back. My lungs were basically destroyed, and my stomach had a huge hole in it. The surgery to fix it made it where I can't eat as much. Hence my appearance." He explained.

"Was it Toxic Chainsaw? Or some other guy?" The kid asked.

"You certainly know your stuff, but no. He got a few hits in, but none of them did this to me." All Might explained with a shake of his head. "No, this was from an even more intense fight. This one had to be kept under wraps so no one would know the Symbol of Peace was so badly injured." He continued.

'Who could possibly be strong enough to do this to All Might?' Izuku thought, his eyes narrowed. "Right…" He nodded.

"You sure are quiet, aren't ya kid?" The man said. "But to answer your question. To be honest, I don't really have an answer for you. I'm sorry." He continued. "I think it's just something you'll have to find out for yourself."

Izuku seemed to take this in for a few seconds before looking down at his shoes. "Oh." Was all he could muster. He couldn't put his finger on why, but for some reason he thought All Might would have an answer for him. Apparently he was wrong.

"That being said." The hero nodded once more. "I think that you and your friend should be grateful that you have such strong bodies, despite being quirkless. Who knows? Maybe the two of you could become heroes." He added as the two of them parted ways to head to their respective destinations. Leaving Izuku with a lot of thinking to do.

'Even though I didn't get a definitive answer, I'd say today wasn't a total loss. He did say it could be possible.' Izuku thought as he jumped away.

'Note to self though, keep that kid in mind as a candidate for One for All.' All Might thought as he walked down some stairs, before noticing that the bottle containing the sludge villain was gone. "Oh no…" He gasped.

Back with Izuku, he was about to take off flying when he heard an explosion in the distance, drawing his attention to a rising column of smoke in the distance.

"What the?" He uttered as he flew towards the sight.

(Elsewhere)

Meanwhile, Goku and Krillin jumped out of the way as a sludge villain was forcing a girl with an acid quirk to use her powers to melt everything within range. Her acid had already hit a few gas tanks for some grills that caused the blast earlier.

"How are we supposed to get close to that thing with all that acid being sprayed around?!" Krillin growled.

"I don't–!" Goku exclaimed, dodging another acid stream–right as a light bulb went off in his head. "Ding Dong!" He grinned, flipping to avoid a slime swipe as every hero in a zip code came rushing in. "Krillin! Use Solar Flare!" He called.

"I see where you're going!" The baldie smirked before he put his hands to his head. "Hey slime face, check this out! SOLAR FLARE!" He yelled before he emitted a bright light, blinding the villain (and Mina) along with the crowd that had gathered, including the pros that arrived.

And up in the sky, a certain broccoli haired legendary super Saiyan was flying overhead when he heard the commotion.

"Hm?" He hummed before looking down. Upon seeing the same sludge villain from before with Mina in his clutches, he got angry. "I think not!" He yelled as he shot to the ground like a missile, landing with a crash.

This caused all of the heroes and bystanders in attendance to look at the boy in shock as he popped his neck from side to side and stared down the sludge monster with an unflinching and unwavering glare.

"What?! You again? Get out of my way kid!" The creature tried to strike him, but the blow was expertly blocked by Izuku—and what's more—the boy didn't even move in the slightest and was unphased by the attack.

"Let. Her. Go." He growled, his voice one of authority as his aura flared.

"I'd like to see you make me, brat!" The sludge villain yelled as he tried to strike the boy, only for his attacks to be deflected by his aura.

"Ha! I knew that solar flare would get Izuku's attention!" Goku grinned.

"Wait, That was your plan?" Krillin questioned. "I thought we were gonna rush that guy once he was blinded." He added.

"That was plan A, but then I remembered that blasting a Kamehameha at a villain holding a hostage is a bad idea." The Saiyan pointed out.

"Okay, that's a pretty good point." The baldie conceded since it was a dumb idea.

"Plus, I think Izuku's already catching on to what I had in mind." Goku nodded as he jabbed a thumb at the taller saiyan and the still disoriented sludge monster.

"Whoa! Look at Midoriya go!" One of the guys from Katsuki's friend group said. "He's taking those hits and not even flinching!" He added.

"I'll say, it doesn't even look like he even feels it!" Another continued as Katsuki watched as well while Izuku charged up his fist.

'I know that stance, he's about to use Paralysis Verde.' The boy noted mentally as the Saiyan readied a punch.

"Paralysis Verde!" Izuku roared as he threw his fist forward. As soon as the boy's fist made contact with the sludge monster's face, green Ki spread all over its body and caused the figure to suddenly go rigid.

"What the—?! Can't. Move!" The creature grunted as Mina's mouth became free, allowing her to breathe.

"Get me out of here! Please!" She called out, and Izuku was quick to remove her from her assailant's clutches.

"Now Goku!" The boy called as he jumped back while Goku started getting into a stance while Krillin backed up.

"Here it comes!" The bald boy said as he joined Izuku with Katsuki and the others.

"KAAAAA-MEEEEE-HAAAAA-MEEEEE…" The Saiyan boy called as a blue orb of Ki started building up in his hands. "HAAAAAAAAAA!" He yelled, blasting the villain with a beam of pure energy.

"OH CRAAAAAAA-!" The sludge man started to yell before he was blown to pieces.

Goku relaxed before he suddenly went into little kid mode again.

"Hey! Did you guys see that?! That was WAAAAY stronger than last time! Haha! It was awesome!" He laughed, bouncing up and down.

"Yes, because that's more important than the collateral damage you caused." Krillin deadpanned in reply.

"Ugh, now I regret letting him finish that villain off…" Izuku groaned, facepalming with Mina still in his arms.

And off in the crowd, All Might watched the display as well.

'Those three are ki users!' He gasped mentally before his gaze settled on Izuku. 'Hm… I think he's the one.' He thought.

(Later)

The green haired Saiyan sighed as he started his slow walk home, however he stroked his cheek slightly as he recalled what had happened before he left the sludge incident.

That being how Mina gave him a quick kiss on the cheek as thanks for saving her, which really caught the boy off guard, if he was being honest.

'Her lips were actually really soft.' He thought as he kept walking, right until someone came barreling out of an alleyway—that someone being All Might.

"BOOYAH! I am here!" He exclaimed as he struck a pose in front of a slightly surprised Izuku.

"All Might, why are you here?" He asked.

The large man then deflated to his skeletal form.

"I came to talk about what you and your friends did today." The hero replied.

"Oh, that." The Saiyan said in realization. "What about it?" He asked.

"You mentioned that you had no power at all." The man began. "But instead it seems that in addition to your natural physicality, you're able to use Ki as well." He noted.

"Yeah." The boy nodded.

"Well, truth be told, what you three showed today made me realize something important. You kids do have what it takes to be a hero." The blonde said, catching the boy by surprise.

"Wait, really?" He asked.

"Let me explain. You see, there are many stories about heroes and how they became great. But they all have one thing in common, their bodies moved before they had a chance to think. Almost on their own, just like you all did." The symbol of Peace explained.

"Just where is this going?" The Saiyan asked.

"The direction this is heading is that I believe that you are worthy of inheriting my quirk." The man declared, surprising and confusing Izuku.

"Uh… Inherit?" The boy questioned.

"Yes. People are always making guesses about my powers, like a sort of super strength or some sort of vulnerability. When I'm asked about it in an interview, I always make a joke and dodge the question. It's because the world needs to think that the symbol of Peace is a natural born hero." The man told him before sighing. "But I'm not, there's nothing natural about my abilities. I wasn't born with this power, it was a sacred torch that was passed onto me by someone else." He added, arms outstretched.

"Passed on? What's it called?" Izuku asked, his interest greatly piqued.

"It's known as One for All, a stockpiling quirk that grows in power as it's improved and passed along." All Might told him. "And you young man, should you choose to accept, will be it's next user." He continued.

"I accept." He replied, not even taking a moment to think about it.

"No reluctance, that's how I figured you'd respond. Good to hear." The man smirked as they shook hands.

Meanwhile, with Goku…

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?! DID YOU GET INTO ANOTHER FIGHT?!" The boy's mother yelled angrily, Goku himself cowering in comical fear.

Standing over him was a woman who looked like she likely only just turned forty with a buxom motherly figure and vibrant and perm styled hair, with a pair of blue eyes. She was also dressed in a pink sweater and brown pants.

This was Matabi, Goku's adopted mother.

"I-I was helping out in a v-v-villain attack!" Goku stuttered, praying that he wouldn't get the slipper.

"You WHAT?!" The woman yelled.

"He had a hostage! I helped finish him off when the hostage was clear!" The Saiyan boy gulped, his shaking increasing.

"THAT DOESN'T EXCUSE YOU FROM DOING SOMETHING DANGEROUS AND INSANE!" Matabi yelled as she pulled out a slipper, causing Goku to adopt a look of comical terror.

It would seem that Latino families weren't the only ones making use of the common flip flop as a disciplinary tool…

Dragon Emperor0: Hello dear readers, and welcome. Welcome to our newest story, the rewrite of a previous story Saiyan Pride where we imagine Izuku as a version of Broly in a Dragon Ball/MHA fusion universe. This is a revamped version of the original, so a lot of it will likely be similar to it, but it won't be a direct carbon copy, either.

ThermalsniperN7: And this time, we decided to ship Izuku with just Mina. Since this has Dragon Ball elements, expect her to get a Majin motif at some point since she already fits the bill as a Majin anyway. Oh, and Goku is joining Izuku at UA. There's that, too.

Dragon Emperor0: I gotta say, Goku's mom gives me some serious Kushina vibes, not gonna lie. Seriously, she'd probably scare the crap out of everyone if she got angry around them.

ThermalsniperN7: I can see her telling off All for One and making him soil himself with just a glare. That'd be a sight to behold. Also, Vegeta, Raditz and Nappa will still be around later, so count on that.

Dragon Emperor0: Oh boy, that's gonna be a fiasco, that's for damn sure. Anyway, guys, see you all next time.
