Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds and Pokemon

I'll Go Anywhere If I'm With You

By Lucky_Ladybug

Notes: The characters from the shows and the Pokemon species aren't mine. Robert and the specific Pokemon characters are mine. This is part of my crossover verse where both series exist in the same world. Radley is a nice guy, as always. This story was inspired by the true story of the London director who found a kitty family under his bed. So cute! Squeaky vs. The Black Knight is a real song, and Scotch's song is a parody of that song. I have a video on YouTube of singing it, but I may redo it due to YouTube's frustrating softening of the volume.

Chapter One

"You want me to sing what?!"

Radley petted Evie the Eevee in disbelief as Scotch tried to expound his latest song idea to his best friend and idol.

"It's a parody of Squeaky vs. The Black Knight about Evie and Lawton!" Scotch said proudly.

". . . What is that?" Kalin grunted. On his lap, Evan the Eevee warbled in confusion.

"When The Royal Guardsmen wrote Snoopy vs. The Red Baron, they didn't have permission to use Snoopy at first," Scotch explained. "They changed the names and a couple of other things and released it in Canada as Squeaky vs. The Black Knight!"

". . . You wrote a song about Evie dog-fighting Lawton in World War One," Kalin intoned.

"Well, no, it's the modern day and Lawton is raining terror right here!" Scotch said. "I'll sing it for you!"

He hopped up by the jukebox and started to sing.

After the turn of the century,

In the clear blue skies over mining country,

Came a roar and a thunder men had never heard

Like the screaming sound of a big war bird

Up in the sky,

A man in a plane

Mister Lawton Coulter was his name

Eighty men tried, and eighty men died

Now they're buried together on the countryside

Ten, twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, or more,

The bloody Black Knight was rolling out the score

Eighty men died trying to bring him down,

The bloody Black Knight of old Crash Town

In the nick of time, a hero arrived

A sweet little Eevee with a gleam in her eye

She took to the skies to seek revenge

But Lawton shot her down

"Oh no! Foiled again!"

Ten, twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, or more,

The bloody Black Knight was rolling out the score

Eighty men died trying to bring him down,

The bloody Black Knight of old Crash Town

Evie had swore that she'd get that man

So she asked her dear Radley for a new better plan

She challenged old Lawton to a real dogfight

While he was laughing, she got him in her sight

The bloody Black Knight was in a fix

He'd tried everything, but he'd run out of tricks

Evie fired once, then she fired twice

And that bloody Black Knight went spinning out of sight

Ten, twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, or more,

The bloody Black Knight was rolling out the score

Eighty men died trying to bring him down,

The bloody Black Knight of old Crash Town

Radley shook his head at the end. "That is a song." He looked at Evie. "What do you think, pretty girl? Are you okay with it?"

"Eevee-vee," Evie chirped. While she was a gentle, peaceful soul, she knew she would fiercely protect Radley and her other loved ones from enemies. She didn't mind the song.

Radley chuckled. "If Evie likes it, I'll sing it."

"Yes!" Scotch whooped. "Will you do it for my next concert?!"

"Sure," Radley said. "And maybe Evie will get onstage with me?" He smiled at the sweet Eevee.

Evie warbled happily. She would love to perform with Radley!

"All the other Eevees could dance!" Scotch suggested.

Evan, Isla, Kiryu, and Ruby trilled in the affirmative. Lily, the shyest Eevee, wasn't as sure. But she also didn't want to be left out, so she finally gave a soft, "Eevee."

Radley smiled at her. "You could just stand by me if you'd like," he offered.

That perked her up and she rubbed against him happily. Radley always found ways to include her that she was comfortable doing.

"Everyone loves when the Eevees perform!" Scotch said.

"And there's so many of them now," Kalin remarked, looking at all the fluffy darlings. All together there were six, with the occasional addition of Radley's brother's Eevee when they visited.

"Yeah! It's so great!" Scotch gushed. "I hope even more come! Nico and West want them too!"

Radley smiled, exchanging a look with Kalin. "We've talked with Jordan and we're planning to get them Eevees from breeders soon," he said. "Our original thought was waiting for Christmas, but really, why wait? There's so much time between now and then when they could be enjoying being with Eevees of their own."

"You guys are the best!" Scotch said. "They'll be so happy!"

Kalin smiled too. "The one we got Emilio's egg from says there's some new clutches. We're going to take Nico and West to pick their eggs from among them."

"It would be so cool if they pick siblings!" Scotch said. "Are they related to Evie?"

"Some are," Radley said.

Evie danced in joy.

"We can all go, right?" Scotch hopefully asked.

"Of course," Radley smiled.

"Are you still hoping to raise an egg too?" Kalin grunted.

"Yeah, sometime!" Scotch said. "I'm really loving being with Isla and Kiryu, but I also want to experience raising an egg!"

Radley chuckled. "How does Biff feel about it?"

"He's okay with it!" Scotch insisted. "Of course, he hopes a baby Eevee wouldn't start getting into everything, but with Isla as the mother, who knows!"

"Oh? Are Isla and Kiryu growing that close?" Radley said in amusement.

"Maybe!" Scotch said. "But even if I get an egg from a breeder, Isla and Kiryu would be the adoptive parents!"

"True," Radley mused. "Do you think Isla is ready for such responsibility?" He looked to where their most mischievous Eevee was studying the heavy curtain at the side of the stage. From her highly concentrated expression, she hoped to find a way to climb it.

Scotch followed his gaze. "Um. . . . Well, maybe being a parent would help her learn responsibility?" he suggested. "Having Isla and Kiryu has helped me a lot!"

"It has," Radley agreed. "Well, I certainly support your efforts. Just be ready to step in if Isla starts trying to teach a little one things they probably shouldn't know."

Scotch hurried over to lift Isla away from the curtain when she placed a paw on it. "I will!" he called over his shoulder. Kiryu jumped up to follow them out.

Radley chuckled. "Scotch loves Eevees as much as we do."

"And he can't get enough of them," Kalin said.

"That's a good thing as far as I'm concerned," Radley said. "I do wonder how Biff will handle it if they end up with a mischievous and overly curious ball of fluff when Scotch gets an egg."

Kalin smirked a bit. "There's only one way to find out."

"Oh? You think we should get Scotch an egg too?" Radley mused.

"Maybe," Kalin said with a sweeping gesture.

"I will certainly take that under advisement," Radley intoned.

Evie warbled and hopped into his arms for cuddles. Lily and Ruby soon followed suit. Radley laughed, happily holding them all.

It had been a long but fun day when Scotch, Biff, and Scotch's uncle Robert entered their home with their Eevees Isla and Kiryu.

"That was so epic!" Scotch exclaimed. "I'm so stoked for the concert! Radley will be amazing!"

"He always is," Biff said. "I'm kinda surprised he said Yes to your song, though."

"Evie said Yes, so he did too!" Scotch said.

"Hopefully she'll never really have to go against this Lawton character," Robert mused. "He sounds like a true villain from all you two have told me."

"She'd come out on top!" Scotch insisted. "Lawton getting shown up by an adorable, fluffy animal would be all kinds of great! . . . I hope he won't ever come around again, though." He frowned.

"Yeah, no kidding," Biff grunted. "He's the last thing we need."

"Making fun of him in songs is fun," Scotch said. "Radley likes singing Bad, Bad Leroy Brown about him."

"It's crazy how much that song sounds like him without changing anything," Biff said.

The two Eevees warbled and hopped down from Scotch's arms to scamper around the living room. Unlike usual, their game didn't last long tonight. Soon Isla's ears pricked up and she hurried down the hall to Scotch's room.

Confused, Scotch followed. "What is it, girl?" he asked.

Isla was staring at the bottom of the bed and warbling up a storm. When Scotch knelt down to look, he could scarcely believe his eyes. "Oh wow!"

"What is it?" Biff worried.

"It's nothing bad!" Scotch said. "Oh my gosh, it's amazing!" He moved to the side and lifted the quilt higher so Biff and Robert could see.

Biff's jaw dropped. "Eevees?!"

"Incredible," Robert said in amazement.

Under Scotch's bed, a mother Eevee was stretched out peacefully, talking with Isla while her four children nursed.

Scotch was filming in the next moment. "This is adorable!" he gushed.

Biff looked overwhelmed. Suddenly they had five more Eevees. "How did they even get in?!" he exclaimed.

"Um . . . I wonder if I left a window open?" Scotch said. "I'm sure I didn't, but . . . maybe it was unlocked and she pushed it up?"

"I wouldn't put it past a clever Eevee," Robert chuckled.

"What are we gonna do with them?" Biff worried. "We don't know how to take care of baby Eevees. . . ."

"Uncle Robert does!" Scotch said. "He raised Isla from a baby! Anyway, it can't be that hard! It's probably like raising kitties!"

"Which you've never done either," Biff said.

"Well, we can't turn them away!" Scotch said. "She obviously came here because she knew it would be safe, so we're going to make it an amazing home for them!"

"It was probably just the only place she could get in," Biff said.

The mother Eevee chirped. All the babies started warbling as they finished nursing, and she began to groom each one.

"Just like kitties!" Scotch declared.

"Your children are all so sweet," Isla was saying to the mother, who beamed in pride.

"Thank you! I love them," she said.

"So how did you get here?" Isla asked.

"The word is going around among Pokemon that this town is a safe haven for Pokemon, especially Eevees," the mother said. "So I brought my kids here hoping we'd find the best home."

"This is one of the best!" Isla said.

"Radley and Kalin's home is another," Kiryu said. "And there's lots of other homes that would love Eevees."

"Will you be staying?" Isla asked.

"If they'll have us," the mother said. "That Biff person doesn't seem too happy."

"He loves us!" Isla insisted. "He's just worried if they'll know how to take care of babies."

"And worried the babies will climb," Kiryu said. "He doesn't want them to get hurt."

"I'll make sure they'll be good," the mother said. "I don't want them hurt either!"

The unlocked front door opened. "Scotch?" Radley called.

"Radley! Come on in!" Scotch exclaimed.

"Does he know already?" Biff asked.

"Yeah! I sent him the video I was making!" Scotch said.

Immediately Evie, Evan, Lily, and Ruby hurried in and over to the room.

"Hi!" Evie exclaimed. "It's so wonderful you found Scotch's house! I'm so happy to meet you and all your babies! I love baby Eevees!"

The mother looked up again from her grooming session with the kids. "I'm really glad I found this place," she said. "Everyone is so nice."

"Yeah!" Evie beamed. "We all try to be! Radley is my person and I love him so much, but I love Kalin and Scotch and Biff and Mr. Robert too! And everyone else!"

All the baby Eevees started making little chirps and trills. Their mommy had said they were going to a place where they would be safe and happy. They loved it so far.

"Hi hi hi hi!" Evie greeted each one in delight.

Radley and Kalin stood in the doorway and watched. "Aww, they're all adorable," Radley smiled.

"Aren't they?! They should have a special bed!" Scotch said. "Maybe we could get one at the general store!"

"We can look," Radley said.

Kalin nodded. "I'll go get one. Anything else?"

"I'll come with you, Lad," Robert said. "I know what we're likely to need."

"But what do we do here?" Biff worried, not sure he wanted Robert to leave when he was the only one with experience.

"It looks like the mother has everything under control," Robert said. Seeing Biff's concern, however, he added, "But I can write out a list of items for Kalin to get if you'd rather I stay."

Biff relaxed. "Yeah, I'd like that."

Kalin nodded. "That's fine."

The mother relaxed too, continuing her grooming session.

"I'm naming her . . . Penny!" Scotch decided.

"You're gonna name them all?" Biff said in concern. "Scotch, we don't know if they've already got owners!"

"Do you?" Evie asked Penny, who shook her head.

"We're wild," she said. "I was hoping we'd find a good home. Do you think Scotch will let me keep all of my babies or will he or his friends want to give them away?" Uncertainty flickered in her eyes.

"Well . . . there's people right here in town who would love Eevees," Evie said slowly. "But I think Radley and Kalin already fixed it to get some from my cousin for them! She breeds professionally! I'm sure Scotch will keep your whole family if he can!"

Satisfied, Penny looked up at Scotch and warbled.

Scotch grinned. "She didn't have an owner! But she does now!"

Biff bent down and looked at all the baby Eevees. The ones done with grooming were starting to walk around the area. He gently reached and petted one and put her back with the others. "There's three girls and a boy," he noted, seeing the tail patterns.

"Hey, I just thought of something," Scotch said. "Will we be able to bring all of them out? You don't think that rule about only carrying six Pokemon goes into effect in real-life?!"

Radley shook his head. "What are they gonna do, police everyone who owns Pokemon?" He smiled fondly. "I'm pretty sure that rule only applies to Pokemon Trainers traveling around."

"I hope so," Scotch said. He studied the babies. "This is totally the most epic early Christmas present ever! I'm naming this one Holly and this one Ivy!" He petted two of the girls, who were sitting and looking up at him. They chorused in delight.

"Are they all getting Christmas names?" Kalin wondered.

Scotch watched the other two. They were starting to explore the room, and the one male was being very protective of his sister. He insisted on going ahead of her to make sure everything was safe in each spot they looked at. The sister let him and bounced happily, rubbing everything after he deemed it safe.

"Awww, she's like a little Evie," Scotch gushed. "She loves everything! I'm naming her . . . Heidi! And the boy is Peter! He's looking out for her so cute!"

Radley smiled. "Those are nice names."

"Are you really planning to keep them all for good?" Biff asked, even though he already knew the answer.

"How could you even think of taking Penny's babies away?" Scotch exclaimed. "Look how she loves them! And they her!"

Biff held a hand to his forehead and slumped against the wall on an elbow. Of course Scotch would feel that way. And Biff wasn't heartless; he didn't really like the thought of separating them either, even though he knew that was what people would normally do.

"I think Biff's worried whether you guys can really handle so many," Radley said. "I'm sure four babies will really keep you on your toes."

". . . What about house-training them?" Biff said in concern.

"I'm telling Kalin to get a litter box and litter," Robert said as he wrote. "Perhaps two boxes. They're too little to be turned out in the yard to dig holes. But as for the actual training, Penny will teach them what to do. The breeder told me that's what the parents always do when allowed to keep their young."

"That's so cool!" Scotch said.

"I guess that makes sense when they have human-level intelligence," Radley mused.

Scotch petted them all. ". . . It's okay, isn't it, Biff?" He suddenly looked chagrined. "I didn't even ask, I was so excited. . . ."

Biff sighed but managed a smile. "We can try it, sure," he said. "But if it ends up not working out . . ."

". . . What will we do if it doesn't?" Scotch asked in a small voice. "We can't just throw them out or take them to a Pokemon Center. . . ."

"Of course not," Biff said. "I just meant we could spread them out across the Bunch. Jimmy would probably like one, and Marty. . . . They'd still all be pretty much together, you know, just going away at night when we'd all go to our places."

"Oh. . . . Yeah, we could think about that. . . ." Scotch picked up Holly and Ivy. "But they're all so cute. . . ."

They nuzzled him happily.

"Someone would have to take both of these girls, and someone else would have to take both Heidi and Peter," Scotch said. "It would be mean to separate them. . . ."

Biff sighed. He hated seeing Scotch's excitement deflate. "But that's just if we really can't handle it," he said. "They're all yours, Scotch. I won't make you give any of them up. I know you can't get enough of having animals around." He gave a genuine smile. "And of course they're cute."

Scotch started to perk up again. "Really?!"

"Yeah," Biff said.

Scotch beamed. "Thank you, Biff! You won't regret it, I promise! We can handle it, can't we?!" He looked to Isla and Kiryu, who chorused in the affirmative.

Radley smiled. "I think you can."

Robert got up, finally handing Kalin the list. "There's really not much you'll need to get," he said. "I kept getting distracted by their antics."

Kalin took it. "I'll be back soon," he said.

Radley smiled. "I'll come with you. But Evie and the others probably wanna stay here, huh?"

Evie warbled. She loved being with Radley, but she also loved visiting with new friends!

Radley chuckled and petted her. "We'll be back in a few minutes."
