Hello! This is not an update; at least not on this site. With a heavy heart, I have decided to stop uploading the Watchdog of the Queen chapters to FF net.
This is the first fanfiction site I have ever stumbled across, and for that reason, I have it very dear. Unfortunately, the site is breaking. I haven't been able to see any statistics in ages. I cannot tell whether WotQ has been read at all from that. That has been my only way of knowing because I barely receive any reviews at all. In the entirety of 2023, I got exactly one. I have never minded if I got few or many reviews, as this is such a rare pair and WotQ is certainly a bit of an odd fanfic. However, because of the website's deteriorating state, uploading the chapters has become a hassle. When I insert the long line to separate the text into portions, that, for whatever reason, messes up the formatting (every word gets suddenly thrown into its own line!). Sometimes it doesn't let me bold or underline things, italics get eaten, etc.
I would have still fought with this stupid editor to get the chapters up - if there was someone who still read them here at all. In the notes of the previous chapters, I asked whether someone was still here and was only met with silence.
Therefore, I have now decided to stop uploading to FF net anymore.
Watchdog of the Queen, however, is still running. I will continue to upload it to Ao3 (my username is RedThreat there) and tumble (tothelasthoursofmylife), though I recommend reading it on Ao3. Every time, I upload a new chapter, I will write a note here as a notification. Only the proper chapter won't be here anymore.
