It was just a typical day and Casey and Rocket were at the park and Rocket and Team Spidey were havibg fun when suddenly, she saw a female-kit her age wearing a pendantwhich looked like an Oreo pkus wore a red cape over her hoodie and jeans but was hovering in the air like she did.
"H-Hi I'm Oreo, my dad and me moved here, what's your name." she told her impressing her that she was making her first friend who also had super-powers she was still learning to control so was showing her some of her powers impressing Oreo as they flew off stunning Rocket. "She made a friend like her, good for her." he said as they kept playing.
"Maybe Oreo being her first friend will encourage her to be friends with us." Gwen said to him making him nodding knowing their dad would be happy, when Casey told him later when they got home. He knew she was starting kindergarten soon so her making her first friend would help her talk to other kits at kindergarten realising it was nearly lunchtime knowing their dad would want them home.
"Casey, we have to go home. It's almost lunchtime and know daddy is waiting for us." Rocket told her making Casey understand hugging Oreo before landing on the grass leaving with Rocket making her smile as she'd made a good friend in Casey hoping sge'd see her tomorrow leaving the park heading to her and her dad's house as it was lunchtime.
"Mmmmmm, thanks for the lunch dad, it's really good." Rocket told his and Casey's dad making Rocket Senior smirk sensing Casey had fun seeing her smiling wondering what had happened. "She made a friend in a new kit at the park who has powers like her." Rocket told him impressing their dad as this was a big deal for Casey as Rocket had no problem making friends but Casey, she was shy and found it hard to talk to other kits plus they would get scared when her powers came out by accident. "Yeah, her name's Oreo and she has powers like me and we played forca long time before we came home." she said drinking her juicebox
"That's great honey and this might he a good thing, since you start school in a few days. Maybe Oreo will be In yohr class." Rocket Senior told her making a surge of excitement run through her which wasn't a good idea before naptime as she had to settle down mentally as she needed her nap to recharge after playing all morning with Oreo which she couldn't wait to tell Branchie about heading upstairs which to Rocket and Groot meant quiet time while Casey was taking her nap and knew it was bad to wake her up so were playing with action figures in the living-room making Rocket Senior relieved they were being quiet But Rocket Senior felt his Ravager comm on his big, fluffy wrist going off hearing a familar voice he and Rocket hadn't heard in a long while.
"Stay here with yohr sis and I'll be back." he told him seeing him and Groot nodding as he left.
