"Mighty and Ray... Little guy, you know these?" Sonic examined the two surviving victims.

"Ugh..." Mighty woke up. "Where am I?"

The two woke up, and is shocked by so many... strangers. The unified army is pleased that the two survived, and proceeds to explain what's going on that led to this run.

"You... you saved us?" Ray gasped.

Classic Sonic hugged both old friends, clearly heartwarming as he thought they never survived the Hyper Genesis Wave.

"Good for you, little dude!' Sonic laughed. "Finally, your veteran fellows!"

The Classic guys briefly celebrated the rescue, but Sonic realized the genocide's on the way, so he rushed. Meanwhile...

"Is that the... Remorseless?" Sally heard Magsarion. "That dude behind the so-called Second Heaven!?"

"Let me call..." Nicole went back onto Cyber Dream. "Ok, good thing I bookmarked all those gods we met at the recreation of Suwahara..."

"No... crap!" There was Ren Fuji, the Moment a.k.a. Tenma Yato. "Huh? You're..."

"I bookmarked you while I was checking on your... wait, your city?" Nicole recalled. "Hello there, mister. I'm Nicole the Holo-Lynx."

"Nicole? A lynx from... digital worlds?" Ren is surprised.

"Sorry if I wasn't able to meet you." Nicole sighed. "According to my bookmark... the so-called Remorseless. I only got their title when I bookmarked, and that's it. I had to escape to evade the false Amy Rose."

"You mean... the Sceond Heaven, Magsarion." Ren confirmed. "He screamed. He just screamed. He horrified at what the First... has become. He hates her, sure, I understand his hatred and her shits, but man... poor Mitra..."

"Princess Sally Acorn here. What? Mitra?" Sally came down. "You mean she has..."

"Succumbed to Metal Virus." Ren sighed. "Now she's no more than just a minion. A minion to that fucking hedgehog."

"We remember seeing you guys in that school area, covered mostly in metal..." The two girls recalled. "Oh, right!"

"She's become a mechanical abomination!" Ren screamed.

"She became a Zombot!?" Sally gasped.

"The hedgehog said he perfected the Metal Virus..." Ren recalled. "He outwitted us, and infected us with that substance!"

"Our original Bunnie also became a Zombot." Sally recalled a memory from post-SGW world. "It seems like he has access to anything, and combine..."

"Sally, Nicole." Tangle's subconsciousness tapped into Cyber Dream, allowing her to access the dream world. Same with Whisper.

"Metal Virus got the Atman!" Ren revealed to the two. "Now she's a machine in organic body!"

"Metal Virus!?" The two gasped. "Wait... we got cured..."

"Twice for me." Tangle added.

"Thanks goodness! Us army saved you!" Nicole hugged the two heroic Genesis Births.

"Oh my god..."Whisper sobs. "I thought I'm turned evil and ended..."

"God? But I am a god, but infected!" Ren is frustrated. "Anyways, if I wake up fully, I disappear from this area altogether."

"That's because you didn't consume the dream vial." Sally replied. "Oh, and about the infection..."

"The infection evolves to counter our divine powers, our emanations, our Laws." Ren added. "Our Taikyoku powers are the only thing keeping us from the infection, but the crimson illusions won't let us erase the virus."

"The Phantom Ruby is blocking your powers, as it's been doing to others'." Nicole explained. "The overclocked Phantom Ruby can turn illusions into reality. Combine that with the Paradox Prism, and you get something that can reap down an entire multiverse alone."

"Well... I'm gonna get a dose of the dream serum." Nicole rushed away. "Wait for me!"

Meanwhile...

"Hiyaaa!" Sonic blasted off that guard and go auth!

The gateway opens. Advance to the 28th floor.

"Hmph." Jones directed the Team Shadow at behest of Grim Shadow. "We can deal with them."

Shadow, with his air shoes, rushed to the variants and removed his Inhibitor Rings.

"Chaos Blast!" Shadow ambushed the variants, blasting the three away.

"ARGH!" They fell down.

"I am the ultimate lifeform." Shadow then used the Dark Gaia's energy, becoming Shadow the Werehog. "Take THIS!"

The three variants tried against the destructive creature, but are quickly outmatched. The combination of Chaos energy and Dark Gaia energy proved advantageous, and he stretched his arms to increase his blast range.

"See? The last time we fought, I didn't have time to unleash myself." Shadow reminded the variants. "But now, I know your weakness. I have Chaos energy already, and the Hyper Genesis Wave fallout gained me the power of Dark Gaia! You don't have neither!"

"Help! Help! Help!" Shad called for help.

But the werehog simply blasted the Chaos out, exploding the three.

"Shadow! You did it!" Sonic came to the scene.

-*detransformations, rings back* "See? The ultimate lifeform. That's what I was designed as. I am. Therefore, I'm ultimate-"

"Yeah yeah yeah, shut up and get going!" Sukuna came to the scene. "Wait... you defeated three of the Shatter-dudes!?"

"Alright, they're unconscious. Their body will be useful." Sonic pointed at the bodies. "In fact, we need them to reconstruct the body for the other Shadow the Hedgehog. You know, because he was shattered."

"Oh hoy, Shadow- urgh!" Chip suddenly relapsed, briefly emanating Dark Gaia energy. "Oh, I'm fine..."

Sonic and Shadow squinted. "Huh? Dark Gaia?"

"Shattered world stuff?" Archie!Bunnie and Re!Antoine squinted.

"Dark Gaia?" Tails gets suspicious. "What's going on with Chip?"

"Huh. No, I'm ok. I just need a chocolate." Chip winds himself up.

The unified army moves on to advance up the floors, but...

"Mephistopheles, Kichi, Tasogare... all in danger, again, alongside me." Ren panicked. "What do you want to..."

"Here." Nicole doused the digital version of the serum on Setsuna, the Moment. "Now you can contact here and through dreams. Until you becomes a Zombot, that is."

"Wow, that's so cool!" Ren smiles at the help. "By the way, I barely known any of you. So can you please introduce yourself properly? All four of you."

In the waking world, the Tenma Yato himself is sleeping.

"HELP ME! GO FREEZE!" Magsarion pleaded Ren. "The virus... it's eating me!"

The hedgehog completely ignores all this, and moved on with Elise to discuss plans for the Divine Throne itself.

"HELP! HELP! Setsuna, HELP!" The Remorseless then relapsed, his powers gradually failing the virus which's leading to dark purple metal. "I can't by myself... anymore!"

Zombot Atman (Mitra) kicks him down to drive it home. Ren just... sleeps, conversing with the four girls in Cyber Dream.

"You fucked up, gods, and now you'll pay." A Tails Man mocked the Hegemony Gods.

"Damn you...!" Magsarion cursed the Roboticized Masters, before collapsing fully filled with Metal Virus.

A while later, the 29th floor is unlocked. The unified army arrived, and this is where they found some extra emanations...

"This looks like... Ren's power!" Sukuna recognized the power. "I know him well. He's my friend!"

The army rushed to an area frozen in time, and is blocked by an invisible wall resulting from the time stop effect... except the Tai-Aztiluth, who used to be part of Tenma Yato, and thus immune to Ren's powers.

"Ok... Haaah!" Sonic vibrated himself and plunged into Speed Force.

The Blue Blur and the heavenly demons/LDO-plus entered the area, and found some extra-priority, potentially dangerous individuals opposing mobians.

"These are some people... wait..." Sonic recognized some. "Jet!? Wave!? Storm too!?"

The Babylon Rogues - Jet the Hawk, Wave the Swallow, and Storm the Albatross (yes, that's his name) - and a nigh-literal tons of Extreme Gears confiscated by Team Shatter themselves.

"No! All the Extreme Gears... What have they done!?" Sonic is frustrated.

"This is unfair! They must be petty enough..." Sukuna is baffled. "Oh wait, what are these?"

Sonic left the area, and told the army there's the Rogues and the Extreme Gears.

"What!?" Eggman is baffled.

"Thinking about it... I believe that to prevent us from flying freely as always..." Shadow figured it out. "The hedgehog and co. took all those floats away and dumped them into the time stop area. And because the Babylon Rogues know the Extreme Gears... very well... so the evil ones imprisoned them."

"This is in line with the cruelty of the 'Team Shatter'..." Amy is disgusted. "I'm crushing that! Ugh!" *pulls her hammer*

"Stop!" Sonic blocked Amy. "Amy, this is a time stop! All matter and direct energy, even light, are blocked! Stopped! Utterly halted!"

"Like Time Armor!" Sukuna pointed it out.

"Right. Time Armor, and covered time stop in general stops all direct damage. All of them." Tokoyo returns to the area.

Sonic and Tai-Aztiluth entered again, wondering how to safely deactivate the area. The blue is gradually enraged at what the evil ones did...

"Unacceptable! Unacceptable!" Sonic slammed the ground, accidentally causing an earthquake.

"What the!?" Tails is baffled at the area. "How did..."

"Holy crap. The vibration is too powerful!" Captain Boomerang is shocked. "The Speed Force is dangerous! It needs moderation!"

"Makes sense. Enough said." Deadshot wagged.

"I think I have an idea." Sukuna pulled out his guns. "Wait... hedgehog, hey!"

"No! This is...! NO!" Sonic is horrified.

It was Ghost Shadow, taking the form of a perpetually-moving-n-bouncing projection of sleeping Prime!Shadow, like a DVD logo trying to bounce the corners.

"Sonic..." Ghost Shadow, still telepathy through the Cyber Dream.

"The Prime Shadow in ghost form from Ghost Hills... enough of our torture!" Sonic vented. "I'll rescue you and many others!"

"Thank you, but remember..." Ghost Shadow warned. "Res Novae..."

"Also sprach Zarathustra, yeah." Sukuna recalled. "This is frozen... because of this?"

"Yes... The evil hedgehog used the Metal Virus, and thus indirectly stole the Laws..." Ghost Shadow revealed. "It's possible thanks to the two crystals. That's right... he stole the Laws through infection with Metal Virus, perfected by him. The virus became symbiotic, so it took the Laws from Hegemonic Gods and added to his empire!"

"Ren's powers used to imprison you... That's cheating in more than one way!" Sukuna is angry. "What an asshole!"

"Ren did nothing wrong to any of the mobians, why would that hedgehog imprison you and the rogues in time stop!" Tokoyo complained, no sugarcoating whatsoever.

"See? Absolute power can corrupt absolutely!" Ghost Shadow called it. "Especially if one's being pragmatic and improvises!"

"Jet... Wave... Storm... our boards... How do we free it and others?" Sonic asked.

Ghost Shadow didn't respond, but the Apostasis did.

"Acetaminophen, Argatroban, Aleviatin, Abilify Cravit, Klaricid Glucobay. Zyroric, Jzoloft, Cefzon, Theodur, Tegafur, Tegretol. Depas, Depakine Toledomin Nu-lotan Norvasc. Lendormin Lipitor Rheumatrex Erythematodes. Fulminant, hepatitis," Sukuna loads his guns. "Pulmonary fibrosis Autoimmune disease. Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome."

"Let's check some other..." The remaining of the army moved on, but slowly.

"Malignant Tumor Apostasis!"

The time-stop area flashed, shooking the army.

"Huh? What's this?" Robotnik stepped out and went to the area.

He can freely enter now, as the area clears out. He saw Sonic and the Tai-Aztiluth, with Sukuna holding emptied guns.

"Good. It is resumed." Sukuna chuckles.

"Finally!" Ghost Shadow spoke up, out of the dreams and into the waking world.

"Huh?" Jet woke up. "Where?"

"Hey, Babylon Rogues! We're here to save you!" Morei/Leonhard carried the Rogues out. "And kill the so-called Team Shatter."

"Huh? What!?" Wave gasped.

The Babylon Rogues then turned back. Ton of Extreme Gears, including their own, are lying on the floor.

"Mine!" Jet took his own, the Type-J, back.

The Rogues took back their respective Gears. Sonic rushed to get back his Blue Star.

"What?" The unified army went back to the area, not yet knowing Grim Shadow has noticed.

"Extreme Gears! Floating boards, made of Babylonian technology!" Wave revealed them.

"If you cannot fly or doesn't yet have style?" Storm offered some extras.

"What is this... board?" Akuro/Tubal Cain is confused.

"Pink Rose! Yay!" Amy got it back, then hear Akuro. "This is Extreme Gears."

"According to the Kutta-Joukowski Theorem, the control surface flow is balanced by the inverse kinetics of the-" Tails is then slapped by Habaki.

"Alright, you're saying speed plus air equal float?" Habaki took out a random Extreme Gear. "Wait... why is it vibrating?"

Cue the Extreme Gear bursting into Dawn's light, turning the Gear into a block of light, resembling a recolored Type-J.

"Is this just my Gear, or what?" Jet is baffled. "Also... who are you!?"

"Izanagi's Dawn. Habaki Sakagami!" Habaki declared. "Wait... 'Izanagi's Dawn'... Sounds like good."

"Sir, Lamorak, it's complicated!" Merlina then recapped what happened to the unified army that led to this moment.

Rindou took out another Extreme Gear, and it turned into an ornate board with the color scheme she quickly recognized from her royal attire she had in Mahamara. With golden accent invoking Reinhard and the Longinuslanze.

"Is this... my board?" Rindou is caught off-guard. "It looks like... royalty clothes of mine wrapping this very stuff!"

"Let me see... Ouch!" Boom!Sticks touched the board, but is briefly burned in the touch. "Ooooh! Izanami winding some great lance as an arrow? Arc!"

Rindou is baffled at the goofiness, but then considered... "Izanami's Arc..."

"This? A skateboard- woah!" Sukuna got an Extreme Gear that's basically a literal hovering skateboard, like real life stuff!

"28th floor. Danger in refuge." Grim Shadow arrived at this high floor.

Sonic got back his own riding gear, and now he's able to change to that and back in an instant thanks to the increased speed of... Speed Force. He then took the blue model of Ark of the Cosmos. "Alright. Old stuffs coming back. Take it all!"

"Wow! Who mass-manufactured the Arks of the Cosmos?" Tails got two more. "Alright. Everyone, please-"

"Found you!" Grim Shadow intervened. "You freed some of the dangerous being and devices we confisicated. More troubles from you that I must fix- wait... You knocked down the fellow three!?"

"I'm taking my body back." Ghost Shadow confronted Grim Shadow. "So fuck off!"

The robot then attacked with full force, emitting Chaos energy to overwhelm the unified army all at once.
