Remembering something, Minoru asks Seiichi to grab a box from under his bed in his old life mentally. When he gets it, he takes out a letter (out of a dozen thrown things that couldn't possibly fit there) and asks that Seiichi read it. Seiichi puts out reading glasses, then once done, enthusiastically gives a thumbs up to Minoru.
Minoru, assured in his safety, then turns around and looks pointedly at Iris, saying emphatically, "N!&&, you done fucked up!"
While the rest are confused, attempting to find the meaning of that statement, a furious Aethra is trying to strangle a suffocating Seiichi for allowing Minoru's use of the N-word.
"H-Hold up, w-woman! Rea-ad this f-first!" Aethra pauses, gruntedly sees the letter, and reads it.
This man, Minoru Kagenou, has shown that he has the energy of the black people. As such, as an executive member of the Official Black Person Membership Club (OBPMC), I grant his soul-honorary Black Person status and also grant him an eternal N-word Pass, good for unlimited uses.

Below that is a card, in black, signifying both that and his use of the N-word being legitimate. She relents, knowing that in Minoru's world, this is actual documentation. (Author Sidenote: Seiichi again. Yes, it's a bad idea to actually use the N-word, I know, and we're sorry we're even considering using it. This, however, sells the impact of her mistake before… you know. It is REALLY hard to sell that impact before it actually happens. This seemed like the best way to do so. Neither I nor Neutral endorse the use of racial slurs in any way or form. Also, it's a slight dig at the continued use of the slur past necessitation (which is to say past current state of reclamation of the term, as much as I respect the intent), so we sincerely hope that no African-American reader or person actually takes offense to this usage. However, we recognize and respect the problem here, so if you find the use of the term unacceptable, please just comment that you are uncomfortable and we'll immediately workshop an alternative reaction I had that seemed... lacking in comparison originally. This is one of the few times I will consider rewriting a single portion of any of my personal works for non-plot-related reasons.)
An out-of-breath Seiichi then explains the situation, likening the N-word to a heretic, but only based on appearance.
Everyone's eyes widened, murmurs of incredulousness and shock that such a slur was used to describe the reaction to her mistake. Iris pales, recognizing what that means, just how delusional is she?
