[Jay and Moose, still immersed in wedding plans, are interrupted by a text from Veronica.]
Veronica (text): What's that weird smell in the kitchen? Is it you guys?
Jay (text): Guilty as charged. Our love comes with a unique fragrance.
[Veronica replies with a laughing emoji, and the couple continues their wedding discussions.]
[Later that afternoon, Jay and Moose decide to visit The Cooper House to check on Betty and offer their support.]
Alice Cooper (somber): Polly's gone, and there's nothing I can do about it.
[Moose and Jay exchange concerned glances.]
Moose: Alice, we're really sorry about Polly. Is there anything we can do for you?
Alice: Just be there for Betty. She's hurting too.
[Betty enters the room, her eyes red from tears.]
Betty: Thanks for coming, guys. It's been tough.
Jay: (compassionate) We're here for you, Betty.
[Moose and Jay accompany Betty for a walk around the neighborhood.]
Betty: You know, we've been through a lot in Riverdale. Jay, let me introduce you to some of our darkest moments.
[Betty proceeds to share the dark chapters of Riverdale's recent history with Jay.]
Betty: There was Clifford Blossom, who murdered his own son Jason. Then, there was the Black Hood, revealed to be my dad, Hal Cooper. The Farm, a cult led by Edgar Evernever and Evelyn Evernever, manipulated many. The Gargoyle King, a mysterious figure who plagued us. The Highway Killer, responsible for Polly's death and other young women. And most recently, Hailey Upton, with her twisted games.
[Jay listens attentively, realizing the depth of darkness that has surrounded Riverdale.]
Moose: (solemn) It's a lot to take in.
Betty: (nodding) Riverdale's been through the shadows, but we always find a way to push through. We're a resilient town.
[As they walk through the neighborhood, the trio reflects on the challenges they've faced and the unity that binds them together, hoping for brighter days ahead.]
