The next morning, as soon as Stan woke up, he started thinking about that kid, Kyle. He wanted to meet him and get to know him, the only problem was he didn't know how to do so without it feeling strange. He never quite knew how to socialize with strangers. But, as he spent the whole week thinking about him, he decided it was better to try and fail than to keep wondering about him. Worst case scenario, he's back at where he already is now. He was already on this state of mind for his next psychology session with Butters.

At the next psychology session, Stan knew what he had to do, but didn't quite know how. He didn't want to ask Butters for Kyle's phone number, that bare idea filled him with anxiety. He noticed a notebook on Butters's desk, next to a pen, and thought the phone number might be written in there, so he just had to get to it without Butters noticing it.

The session was about to end, and Stan still hadn't had a chance to get to the notebook. Suddenly, Butters' phone started ringing.

Butters: "Oh, Stan, this is important. I'll need to get out of here so you don't listen."

Stan: "And why should I care?"

Butters: "It's not you, it's just... uhm... no one can listen"

Butters walked off the room. Stan finally took a picture of Kyle's phone number on Butters' notebook. Now, all he had to do was find a way to contact him without sounding weird.

When Stan got home, he thought about texting Kyle, but realized calling him would feel (slightly) less creepy, even if it would be harder for him to talk.

Stan: "Uhh... hi"

Kyle: "Who are you?"

Stan: "Well, I... I go to the same psychologist you used to go to."

Kyle: "Oh, okay. I'm sorry if that came off as rude. Did that come off as rude?"

Stan: "Kind of."

Kyle: "Well... sorry. You were saying you go to the same psychologist as me?"

Stan: "Butters."

Kyle: "What?"

Stan: "I meant Scotch, Dr. Leopold Scotch."

Kyle: "Oh, I see. So why did you call me?"

Stan: "Well... Do you wanna hang out sometime?"

Kyle: "Fine, I could use someone's friendship... by the way, what's your name?"

Stan: "Oh, cool! Uhm... My name's Stan."

Kyle: "Nice to meet you, Stan! I'm Kyle."

Stan: "I know."

Kyle: "What?"

Stan: "Never-mind... So, where do you want to hang out?"

Kyle: "How about we go to South Park Arcade tomorrow at 9pm, Stan?"

Stan: "Oh, sure."

Kyle hung up.
