With Mirabel, she and Marcos were just leaving the mansion.

"Well Mirabel, I hope you're ready to see what our city here has to offer." Marcos told her.

"I'm sure I'll like it here." Mirabel replied.

And with that, the two got on a couple of horses and rode off. Once they were close enough to the city, they left their horses hitched to a water trough near some grass, and walked into the city. Mirabel took in the sights.

It was very different from Encanto, and slightly overwhelming. Marcos glanced over at Mirabel, who looked a little uncomfortable.

"Are you okay, Mirabel?" he asked. "

I'm fine, it's just really different here."

"Don't worry."

Marcos pulled out his wand, and did a small spell. Glittery sparkles swirled around Mirabel, and her clothes changed. She was now wearing a lovely pink dress and black sandals.

"Dos mio." she gasped.

"Do you like it?"

"It's a lovely dress, Marcos. Thank you."

"Ready to explore now?"

"Si."

And they went off.

Marcos showed her the different stores that sold clothes, dishes, and food. They saw people doing different performances such as playing instruments, painting pictures, and even doing dances. Mirabel joined in by playing the accordion.

Even though she couldn't play that well, Marcos enjoyed seeing Mirabel smile and have fun. Then they stopped at a little shop and had some coffee.

"I'm having a really nice time Marcos." she told him.

"I'm glad to hear that. It's nice to have company."

"You mean you usually come here alone?"

"Mostly, mi hermanos are usually too busy."

Mirabel understood Marcos' feelings, back in Encanto she was often on her own. When they finished their coffee, Marcos decided to show Mirabel the park.

There she saw many people playing, picnicking, or just plain relaxing.

"This is so nice." she observed.

"Come on, there's something even nicer over here." Marcos told her.

He took her hand, and led her away. As Marcos held her hand, Mirabel felt sparks through her body, and couldn't help but smile. When they got to their destination Mirabel saw they were at a lake, and people were renting little rowboats.

He got one from the man, and got into it.

"Come on."

He held out his hand to her, and Mirabel grabbed it and carefully stepped into the boat. She carefully sat down, and when the man tried to give him a pair of oars, but Marcos declined.

"No gracias. I have another way."

Using his wand, he created some magical dolphins which pushed the boat. As they sailed the two sat on opposite sides of the boat, and each one was struggling to start the conversation.

"So...nice day huh?" he asked her.

"Si, nice." Mirabel answered.

She smiled a little, and Marcos liked seeing her smile.

"I hope we're making you feel at home."

"Yes, your mansion is very nice. And I have to admit it's nice to be away from everything. I mean don't get me wrong I love and miss my family, but it's nice here."

"I understand. It's good to get away from things sometimes."

When they finished their boat ride, they decided to go back to the mansion.

"Welcome back, Senior Marcos." greeted Angela.

"Welcome back, Senorita Mirabel." Valentina added.

"Gracias, girls." replied Marcos.

"Hola, but you can just call me Mirabel." Mirabel informed the two maids.

"So Mirabel is there anything else you'd like to do?" Marcos asked.

"Hmm, well I am feeling a little hungry. Why don't we have some lunch?"

"Sounds good to me."

The two went to the kitchen, and asked one of the chefs to prepare them some lunch. They didn't have any preferences so the chefs got to work. As they waited, Lorenzo and Esteban walked in.

"Hola, you two." greeted Lorenzo.

"How was your outing?" Esteban wondered.

"It was very fun. I had a nice time." Mirabel answered.

"That's good to hear." he replied.

"Yes, very good." added Lorenzo.

The two left, and the chefs served the two teens some empanadas and ceviche.

"This is very good." Mirabel told one of the chefs.

"Gracias, senorita." replied the chef.

"It seems Marcos and Mirabel are starting to get close." said Esteban.

"Yes they are. It's all coming together." Lorenzo replied.

As they were talking, Angela and Valentina walked up to them.

"Seniors Lorenzo and Esteban?" asked Valentina.

The two looked a bit startled, and then answered.

"What is it, girls?"

"We've finished cleaning your study and the foyer." Angela informed.

"That's good. Why don't you two take the rest of the day off. You can hang out with Mirabel." Lorenzo told them.

"Si, senor."

And with that, the girls left.

When Mirabel finished her lunch, she headed back to her room. As she did, she ran into Angela and Valentina.

"Hola, Mirabel what are you up to?" asked Angela.

"I decided just to relax a little bit. Would you girls like to do something together?"

"Well Senior Lorenzo and Esteban gave us the rest of the day off, we can." Valentina told her.

That made Mirabel smile, she didn't really have many friends back in Encanto so this was good. So for the rest of the day Mirabel, Angela, and Valentina hung out. They talked about clothes, things they liked to do, and their hobbies.

"So how long have you girls been working here?" Mirabel wondered.

"We've been here for a few months now." answered Valentina.

"We were lucky to get these jobs. The Herreras pay us well, which helps our families." Angela added.

"Well it's nice to hang out with girls my own age."

Mirabel then looked out the window and saw Marcos who was practicing his magic. Angela and Valentina noticed this and smiled at her.

"You like Marcos, don't you Mirabel?" wondered Valentina.

Mirabel blushed.

"Well I do. He's a really nice guy." she confessed.

"Take it from us, we think he likes you too."

"You really think so?"

"Si, we've never seen him like this with other girls he's interacted with."

"Well I am here to help him unlock his true powers. I just hope I'm doing that."

Outside, Marcos was doing his practicing.

"All right, your brothers can do transformation spells and so can you." he told himself.

He aimed his wand at a bowl of fruit, and focused on turning it into bouquet of balloons. He said the magic words, and some light shot out of his wand. But fruit didn't change into balloons, it changed into a bunch of rocks.

"Dos mio." he complained.

He looked up and the mansion, and saw Mirabel looking down at him. She smiled, and he smiled and waved at her. Suddenly, he felt something and tried the spell again, on a different basket of fruit. And this time it did turn into balloons.
